I arrived right when they opened and cut flowers had not been set out on display yet. I explained the style of bouquet I wanted and the gentleman who helped me nailed it on the first try! He was mindful of my price point ($30) and did not press beyond that. Additionally, the recipient texted to comment on how long they lasted. Please support this local business!
What a pleasant surprise it was to find myself in this shop during a walk home one recent summer afternoon. The bouquet they prepared for me was gorgeous. Much more than expected and notably fresh. An added bonus were the awesome jams playing quietly in the background. Id recommend Barbaras Flowers.

I recently was in NY for my wedding. On my wedding day it was pouring and I got completely behind! I hadnt picked up my bouquet yet so I called the shop to see if they could deliver it. The woman I spoke with was AMAZING and did everything she could to get my bouquet to me. The delivery truck was gone and she had another delivery driver hop in an Uber and get it to me. I could of cried! This was the nicest thing ever and I am soooo grateful to them. I cant express how much I appreciate this place and my flowers were gorgeous! Many thanks I wish more businesss could be like this.

Barbaras Flowers is every visionarys dream. Tara Simone is THE visionary, honey!! Her passion for her florals is UNreal, Im telling you! She has such a way with her creativity, her suggestions, and just the way she can completely relate to your wants and needs would make anyone feel like family. I love how intimate her studio was, so I could really connect with her. The staff was super efficient and their arrangements were so precise to what I needed for my event. The shop didnt have a wide selection, and the staff wasnt that welcoming. However, I recently bought tulips and they were healthy and looked great.Try to go when the owner is tending the store, not her staff. Youll receive much better service.

2020-09-26I just ordered some flowers for my mothers birthday and have to say that the service was impeccable and the flowers were great. Les in the Harlem location helped me with my order when I had a hiccup in processing and was able to help me get same day delivery to my mom. She absolutely loved her Fiery Lily & Rose bouquet and is excited to show them off.Thank you for the 5 star service

2022-06-22I am in love with fresh flowers . I received a beautiful arrangement of flowers from Barbara flowers in Harlem. I took my flowers in after a few days to ask for help to keep them fresh because they were dying. The gentleman was very helpful and gave me tips. The shop smells wonderful. I looked around and seen candles for sale. To my surprise they also support other businesses in the neighborhood.If you love flowers like myself please find one in your neighborhood.Shontell

2021-03-18I had a lovely first time experience with stellar customer care from start to finish when ordering a birthday bouquet for my bestie.I gave artistic license to the floral designer to create a bouquet with the flowers of her choice.. I said surprise me!My friend was truly amazed by the exquisite flowers she received, especially the birds of paradise which paired so beautifully with the peach roses. I liked the how the fuchsia orchids complimented the arrangement.Impressive work. I will definitely keep Barbaras Flowers in my contacts for future reference.Thank you for helping to make my friend happy on her special day.

2021-02-21Went in the other day to order some flowers for a birthday. The employees were so helpful and arranged a beautiful bouquet at a very reasonable price. They asked some questions, I gave them some information, and within about an hour, I had a stunning gift completed curated for me! So pleased with the experience.

2021-02-08This place is definitely my backup “go to” location. So far, I’ve tried using this florist a few times over the past few months already. The customer service is GREAT. However, I have to say based upon my experiences, the flowers I’ve purchased here seem to only last about (2) days before they start to turn (is this normal?). When ever I get the same arrangement from my primary florist, the flowers tend to last a bit longer. This leads me to speculate that whatever distributor or whole seller being used might be the problem.Nevertheless, I may need find another backup in the neighborhood when I need to order flowers quickly.

2016-05-05I recently used Barbara s flowers for my wedding and was beyond happy with the looks they created! I brought them a bunch of ideas and a color palette of soft spring pastels and from my bouquet, which was stunning, to the bridesmaids flowers, groomsmen boutenirs they were perfectly coordinated and beautiful. Tara is thee easiest & nicest person to work with. She really cared and took her time to listen and make sure that I didnt go over budget. You wont find a more fair priced florist in Manhattan. Patrick guided us through our choices for a casket spray etc. His recommendations were spot-on and the pieces were magnificent. Recognizing our Caribbean roots, he selected beautiful tropical accents in the perfect colors and the designs were jaw-dropping.We recommend Barbaras for their professionalism, selection of high quality flowers and their craftsmanship.
