I stopped by last minute and the shop was closing but Mary came to my rescue! I got a lovely arrangement and the entire shop was filled with other beautiful pieces. There are also goodie baskets you can get. I always try to use local business where I can see the product. You cant do that with an 800# or Teleport an arrangement.
Terrible arrangement....I paid $74+ and it was worth $30. I was so embarrassed to have sent this arrangement!!! Customer service was terrible!!! They are CROOKS!!!!
Needed 12 dozen red roses for wifes birthday that day. Didnt realize store closed at 5pm. Saw person inside and she open the door and helped me. Big relief. She had red roses, but suggested different colors. Not a fan but I said let me see. WOW. She picked 6 purple and 6 cream roses and it look beautiful. The arrangement made it look even better. The best part, my wife loved them. They were fresh and smelled lovely. Great service, very creative, and friendly. 5 stars all the way.
We always get our dinner table flower settings for thanksgiving,Christmas and special occasions from Hicksville florist.the settings have been beautiful and have lasted for along period of time.the staff at the florist are friendly and helpful!we would not look anywhere else

We were so happy with our experience with Hicksville Florist. We live all the way in Staten Island, but a family member who had passed was being waked out in Long Island. Our local florist recommended Hicksville Florist. We dealt with Jane, and the service was excellent. We ordered a gift basket for the family and flowers for the wake. They did such an amazing job, seriously impressed. Flowers aren’t cheap, and there was no being chintzy here. Your service and product is terrible.You delivered well before the expected date, it was supposed to be a birthday suprise. The product is nothing like the picture you advertised it is actually smaller when we ordered and medium size. Even the flowers were wrong.How youre still operating as a business its unreal. I would re assess your customer service etiquette and learn how to be more accommodating for your clients not just whats convenient for you.I will not be using your services again and I will ensure that I will give a negative review. Needed to pick up a last minute flower arrangement. Found this shop, and when I went in they were very busy with orders. Still I was greeted immediately and was shown some ready to go arrangements that were beautiful. I chose one, she wrapped it up, rang me up, and I was on my way.

1 star only because I cant give less. They claim to be a local florist and while this may be true, I ordered through AVAs Flowers. Flowers arrived at my godchilds wake 5 full hours late. No satisfaction from either them or AVAs. Fooled me once. You wont get that chance again.
Had a tragedy in our circle of friends. Our friends son was killed in a car accident. I ordered the Beautiful-In-Blue floral arrangement. The flowers were gorgeous, fresh & beautifully arranged. I asked for the majority of flowers to be blue for the deceased and asked for a bow. What an AMAZING JOB HICKSVILLE FLORIST DID. I cant recommend them enough. Ordered online @3am. Explained what I wanted & when they should be delivered. When I got to the funeral home & saw the arrangement. I was so happy. They did exactly what I asked. Stay away from this place they are all frauds . I have placed an order recieved an invoice when i called no one is able to pull up the order # and they were all very rude . Ill report them to the better business bureau and share this experience on social media and with anyone willing to listen .
Way to expensive 85$ for 12 roses . So I got 24 roses to make it some what presentable . The charge was over 170$ and yet the place can only do one still ( only Boket ) . I had to buy roses but never coming back here again . For the money I spend at this place I could have got way more
This may be the worst place in the world. We never received our flowers. When we tried to call the number it was a machine that directed us to customer service. But when you talk to customer service they say they’re no longer affiliated with the company anymore and cant help. So we eventually had to cancel the order from the credit card because we never got flowers and we couldnt even reach a person that could tell us why.
They were knowledgable about the flowers and helped me decide on a nice arrangement of tulips. There was a nice variety considering the size of the shop, but it felt a bit overpriced. Would give it 4 stars if it were less expensive.
While the arrangement that was sent to my brother’s family was very pretty, it wasn’t nearly as large and elaborate as the one that I had ordered- and paid more for “premium”. That was quite disappointing.
I strongly suggest buyers to not order from this florist! They are extremely rude, unprofessional and do not care about their customers. On my birthday I received flowers that looked nothing like what was promised and they refused to accept blame or send me new ones. The flowers looked like a car ran over them and the card that came with it looked like it was typed by a 3 year old. The manager/ supervisor was unwilling to listen to me and hung up the phone when I asked for his name. Terrible place, beware!
Really blown away. They were available in a pinch, and delivered on short notice without a problem. The flowers themselves were beautifully done and nicely arranged.

I live in Westchester and had to order flowers for a wake out in Long Island and called Hicksville Flowers. I spoke to Vanessa and she helped me out tremendously, she knew what I needed, suggested what to get and even saved me from ordering something since I didnt know anything. When I arrived, the arrangements were very nice and for the price even better than some of the more expensive ones my family ordered from other florists. All I did was say the colors I wanted and they did the rest. I was a little nervous being as that I wouldnt see them until I arrived but they were delivered as promised in time and came out beautiful. Thank you Hicksville Flowers.

I would give a less than 1 rating if there was an option. Charged $90 for an arrangement that looked a 5 year old designed it. Got a full refund from FTD. This florist should be ashamed of themselves. Do they think because we used FTD that we wouldnt see the product? Worst floral arrangement ever. Was embarrassed that the arrangement that was received was less than mediocre.

I called Hicksville Florist on 10/29 for a delivery to a friend recovering from surgery. I specifically stated that I wanted the total to come to $75 or less, that I was splitting this with three people and we each wanted to contribute $25.I received my credit card statement today and Hicksville Florist charged me over $103. When I phoned the company they explained the additional fees were for tax and delivery charges. When I explained that this was not what I agreed to pay in total, the woman I spoke with offered me a 20% discount on my next purchase. I declined and asked that she refund me the full $28 they overcharged me or that I would initiate a partial stop-payment on the order with my credit-card company. At this point she became irate, telling me I was being unreasonable, that you people do this all of the time, want everything for nothing, etc. She also accused me of not being clear in my original request. Interesting - I placed the original order, not her.I explained, again, that I was clear with her employee that the total was to be $75 or less, and that she could continue getting my business if they credited me the overpayment, even towards my next purchase, but she continued on her tirade over the telephone.I strongly recommend you avoid this florist. There are plenty of others in the area. Problems always occur and they clearly are not interested in responding to a reasonable customer complaint.

Horrible Experience with online delivery. There are 3 different website from this Hicksville Florist. At first I didnt realize this until I found out few day later that the delivery is delayed.I ordered the Vast of Lilly with value of 90$ - tax, delivery charge for Grandpas funeral. 2 Days after placing the ooder and passing the funeral date, flowers still didnt arrive. I phoned the shop with the unbelievably rude woman named Alex from the shop with all detail still she couldnt find it. After 3 phone calls, she somehow pulled it out of her ass and found my order but without transaction from credit card gone through.I told her I will check with my bank. The bank clearly has debited the sum of my order. I make a screen shot and sent it to them and still this Alex refused to give me any proof from their side on why the payment didnt go through on their end. She claimed she cant make no screen shot and wont use her private phone.Key is this woman Alex at Hicksville Flowers was the first class ass who raised voice at her customer for trying to understand what went wrong on their end and refused to give any proof or anything polite and useful.Until now I still dont have the flowers delivered and had to file Bank Complaint to try to get 111$ back.Such a abhorrent person who works with flowers. Strongly suggest you ho else where
I asked for a dozen roses and i got 12 roses spread out amongst random weed looking flowers. It was not aesthetically pleasing and i payed a lot.

I would give a -5 if there was one, never go to this place, I bought 2 big bouquets from here for a religious ceremony, ($75 each) and I requested her to give me a discount since I was buying 2, and she agreed, she cut off $10 from $150, but when they sent the bouquets, the size was smaller than what I had selected, different flowers, very less roses (the original one had lots of them) I was disappointed, she never told me the size will be reduced if she gave me a discount, that’s not discount actually ☹😡 will never go to this place again

I ordered a half casket arrangement from another florist in hicksville. When I arrived at funeral home all the other flowers were delivered except the half casket flowers. The wake was beginning and I called hicksville florist and spoke with Maria. They were closing and she stayed open to make the missing arrangement and delivered it very quick. I was very grateful as I wanted everything perfect for my dads wake. The arrangement was beautiful. I will only order from hicksville florist.
The Women in this Florist Shop are Straight CROOKS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! They tried to Charge us $50 for 12 Carnations!! Carnations are literally the cheapest flower you can find on the market. We live in prime downtown Manhattan a decent arrangement of carnations is $10! But these Thieves are Charging $5 dollars per one Carnation. We had a good Laugh and went to the CVS down the road and got a dozen of beautiful Red Roses for $15. So Save Your Time & Your Money cause if your going to spend that kind of money you might as well spend it at a Real flower shop with higher quality flowers. I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star regardless of the price the shop is Not Even Nice it’s Run down and has an EXTREMELY small selection ontop of the outrageous pricing.

2022-03-22I ordered a living basket based on their Secret Garden design for the funeral of my son-in-law’s grandmother. I live in the South so I had no idea about the flower shops in New York. I only knew that I wanted to purchase directly from a locally owned business rather than use a 1-800 or internet chain. I checked out Google reviews and several websites before contacting Hicksville Florist.Why did I choose them?1. They clearly state that they are local and that they arrange all the orders; nothing is outsourced. So I knew that I would get more flowers/plants for my money.2. The website was user friendly!3. Their designs were beautiful!4. Their prices were extremely reasonable.5. They answered the phone when I called! The lady I spoke with was very friendly and made sure she understood exactly what I wanted. She made sure that I understood that some of the plants shown in the picture of the Secret Garden were not available and worked with me to select alternatives. She also listened to what I said I definitely didn’t want (peace lilies) in the basket. She even sent me a picture of the completed basket. It was delivered on time and my children loved it. I highly recommend Hicksville Florist to locals and especially to anyone who lives out of town and needs to have flowers/plants delivered to the Long Island area.Thank you so much!

2021-11-01The most gorgeous arrangement! I used to be a floral designer myself for a number of years, so Im very picky when it comes to flower arrangements! I ordered last minute (the day before delivery)for my mother in laws birthday and not only were they delivered on time, but the arrangement itself was so beautifully designed and arranged. They were even kind enough to call me after I placed my order. I definitely recommend them for all your floral needs!

2021-07-26I want to highly recommend Hicksville Florist. Their arrangements are wonderful. I also want to praise their customer service. I ordered a gourmet basket to be delivered to my friends. What showed up was a fruit basket. I went to the florist and showed the picture to Faith. She agreed it was not what I ordered and said she would deliver the gourmet basket that very day. I cannot stress how huge this is - it goes a long way to show what a great, honorable company they are. I will continue to order from them and refer my family and friends to them.

2021-08-16I placed an order of flowers on behalf of my boss, so Im not quite sure how the client liked them, but I still have to leave a review because the customer service I received from Fie at Hicksville was absolutely stellar! She followed up multiple times, and she took care of the business as if she owns it. I always appreciate great service like that, so I would work with them again in a heartbeat. 2019-07-18They are WAYYY better than 4.3 or 3.5. Their designer is too sweet. Ill upload my bouquet. Youll see what I mean. Speaks for itself. I think she told me the people that rated so low was due to FTD, 1-800 orders that comes through the store if you will. They are priced lower if you go through the FLORIST website, otherwise, you are paying for expenses that 1800 and FTD charge them. Anyway, walk in, see what they have, or order through their actual website or CALL them and tell them what you want! BTW, they do NOT have a small selection as someone stated. They are the florists by the LIRR, they just relocated. They have TWO rooms, there are MORE flowers where the designer is working. Anyway, look at my purty (modestly priced) bouquet!

2021-05-10I went to Hicksville florist for a last minute gift for my boyfriends mom. They were so busy but were still so accommodating and made me the most beautiful bouquet. The staff were so nice and helpful and never once made me feel like an other (even though I showed up an hour before closing on a very busy day). Will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you to all the staff!
