125 St in other cities:
Frequent service 24/7, but VERY frequent train service during rush hours, being the only line on the east side(until the SAS opens). Its a major station so both express and local trains stop here. The station is completely ADA complaint. The uppermost level is the mezzanine, followed by the Bronx-bound platform, and on the lowest level is the Downtown trains. The station is always fairly busy, especially at rush hour where it fells like a little town with all the people in the station at the same time.
This station is nasty about 75% of the time . Stain marks , garbage on platforns and urine in the elevators. Theres a big issue with homeless, drug addicts and the mentally ill. Police or the city do nothing to address this. Its a major transfer point for most commuters so its busy and crowded most of the time. It usually dies down around 10pm and picks up again around 5am
Its old. Theres a shafy elevator u need to travel undergrownd on . Its ok. Just a normal Harlem subway . Not bad trains were on time. Im not going sit here and talk about the cleanliness of it its an NYC Subway lol there all dirty ...so imo it was fine. Got me from A to B quickly. And thats all that matters
Flexible service connections branching from Metro-North and the M60-SBS to LGA. The line itself can be busy at times but, is pretty reliable at the most part. 6 train is at the upper level and the 4-5 is on the lower. There can be some crazy peeps here and there but, its nothing new to me, and if it is to you, welcome to NYC. It bugs me when people mention Second Ave here. As of 2017, we have this line up to 96th Street. The second phase is still in the midst so calm down, and this is the Lexington Ave Line NOT Second Ave. If you are in need for Second Avenue service take the M15-SBS. Walking from Lexington to Second is no big feat.
Would that concerned if the 5 train will be the only express service as late nights in Manhattan and Brooklyn? In Manhattan express 125 Street and Bowling Green cause it’ll skip two stations at Full Street and Wall Street. In Brooklyn express between Borough Hall and Franklin Avenue but in the daytime express and between Franklin Avenue and Flatbush Avenue it’ll skip five stations except for Church Avenue!
Dirty crackhead and bum hangout.smelly rude people and beggars .trains always packed to the point where u have to squeeze in if u wanna get to work..been doing it for over 2 years and I can’t believe nothing has changed..oh and the elevators are always occupied with some overweight person instead of disabled or pregnant person.and are out of service half the time...

2021-04-28The cleanliness of the station has degraded over the years. All lot of the mentally impaired and challenged have made a tremendous mess. They often relieve themselves on the platforms and throughout the station.

2019-01-03Subway fine and clean but leave at your own risk. Streets full of K2 & crack heads. My wife and I felt very uneasy and made quick headway into McDonalds for a coffee. Watching drug takers and dealers, zombies contorting around on the floor, people rummaging through bins, you get the picture.Ive seen some things in my time on earth but this was an eye opener. It was like walking into a zombie apocalypse we were not prepared for. Enjoy 😁

2019-11-07Easy station. Can get in from BOTH sides of the street. Dont need to worry if going Up or Down Town. Looks Good.Only thing missing, like just about ALL NYC subway Stations, there are NO bathrooms!

2017-08-23Its a train station. You get a metro card and ride it to your destination. It isnt a bistro, diner, Cafe, hotel. Pay attention, mind your business and show respect for your fellow humans no matter how disgusting some of their attitudes may be. This is New York. Remember that when you get to heaven God isnt going to ask you about other people. 😐💯

2021-07-20Basically your typical subway station with a touch of Harlem: the druggies own the station. Otherwise, good.
