Brought in my Motorola phone for the screen to be fixed, they called me three days later to pick my phone up. now it needs to be master reset because the pin no longer works, the pin worked before I bought it there. They say they have nothing to do with that. The guy that I spoke to was arrogant and kept talking over me Im not happy and will never bring anything there to be fixed. On top of that the phone has scratches and glue all around it. Sloppy work not happy.

Quick and easy process! My poor phone was cracked and the LCD bled and turned the entire screen black, but they were able to fix it in about an hour! Also locked myself out of phone and they were also able to help with that! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You definitely have gained a life time customer!
This place is awesome. They fixed my iPhone screen which was completely shattered and it was ready to go in just 25 minutes! I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently they solved my problem. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Not to sure what the other review went through but I was greeted here with open arms. My iPhone 6 speaker was not working so I came here, was giving an estimate by the staff prior to the work and my phone was returned in 30 minutes . This place would be 5 stars but At first the problem didnt seem fixed so I had to return but they fixed it in 5 minutes and now my phone works . The staff is friendly and explains the issue very well. The prices are fair as well.Note : they should do a Groupon deal
Wish I could give it more stars! I arrived at closing ( 1 Palisades Ave Yonkers NY) Justin was kind enough to open up shop again and help me I had needed my screen replaced. He did the work in 15 mins tops and added a screen protector to my phone. Would definitely recommend this place . Great customer service and friendly people

Avoid this place !!!!!I took in my Asus (convertable) laptop for a cracked screen about two weeks ago. There was nothing wrong with the computer- it functioned fine, its just there was a crack going across the screen.Red flag number one:When I asked how much the charge was to fix the crack in the screen the manager told me $80 for everything. After agreeing to the price, I ran out to chase to go to get the $80 payment. When I came back I said okay. $80 right. He says no. Its 89.99. I said You told me it was $80 when I left. Now all of the sudden it jumped to 89 ?! Is that with tax?He said no thats before tax. With tax itll be $97.Anyway I paid the $97. He said that it would be ready that coming Tuesday (I dropped it off on Saturday).Red flag number two:When I called back on the 4th to find out if it was done, a woman answered informing me that it wasnt ready. That kind of repair takes 5 to 7 business days. I told her what the guy told me and shes says she doesnt know why they told me that. When I called again after 6 days the guy repairing it told me that it was still not ready- they still didnt have the part for it. But, he took it apart. I didnt understand why they had taken it apart if the part needed wasnt there. I asked why he had done that and that the lady estimated 5 to 7 business days; after someone else originally told me two to three days. And, I just needed to have the screen replaced. Reiterating that I need my computer for work !They said it would not be ready until this week which was now over the amount of time they told me it would take. When I called this morning to find out if it was ready one of the repair men tells me Oh its still not ready to go. He then proceeds me the reason its not fixed yet its because its too complicated and nobody wants to fix it. Mind you, all this is after I paid them to fix it. I said I could have just taken it to someone who could actually fix it. Its still not fixed yet!? He said come in and speak to the Man In Charge.Red flag number 3:I bought my husband with me to go to see about getting my computer and getting a refund. When all of a sudden theyre getting right to fixing it. How the part just came in yesterday and he was going to fix it now. When I asked how long it was going to take he said only a couple of hours. I said Ill be back to pick it up later. I came after work. It seemed ok at the shop, however, when I get back to the house, it no longer fits inside of the keyboard base ! And,the screen is too big for the computer. And it shut down as soon as I tried to fit it into it. So, now I wasted $97 on a botched computer repair, on a computer that is no longer any good because it no longer fits into the computer base. Avoid this place if you can ! They swindle people out of their hard earned money. Never take your electronics here !Ill be filing complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs.
I took there my computer to fix, but they never fix, instead they took parts and sell it, went there couple times, they told me that the computer is in storage, Wait a call for pick time, never call me, they are thieves, specially the Puerto Rican Tech, don’t know where my computer end up, never call me and took my information, what a waste time, not professional, for future reference take your device to Apple store or any place.Thieves, hope you read this review and think twice before leave you device to this sellers, they don’t fix, they just sell, sell, sell and sell.
What I like about this place is that theyre punctual and honest if theyre not able the fix something theyll tell you and the location is convient too. So far I havent had no problems with them for as long as I been going thanks.
I am more than please with the service that I received today. After having a really bad experience, the guys at the upstairs Bronx location turned that right around for me. EXCELLENT customer service, they are well informed and are experts at what they do. Speedy, professional and understanding.I cant WAIT to take my laptop up there to see how they can help me. Awe man. Where do I start... I bring my iPad here to fix they promise to fix the same day. Later called me telling me they didn’t have a screen to fix my iPad... that I had to wait like 2 or 3 days turned to a week. Also the screen for the iPad was the cheapest screen ever that was not made for my iPad it was too thick glass. with mad dirt in between the screen an lcd that you could see. For over 100 dollars to fix you think they use quality parts but not here ... be careful they just want to steel your money.
Dont go here for the love of God! They take forever to fix your electronics and your device never comes back the same. I got my phones cracked screen fixed and 2 weeks later the new screen began separating from the phone. When I went back to ask if they can fix it, the guy at the front desk told me that its my fault because Ive been putting my phone in my pockets for too long and im not supposed to do that. Really? IT WAS WINTER. And where am I to place my phone? In my ass? I replied that they shouldnt use cheap glue and thats not a valid enough excuse. Not to mention they are way too over priced. Got my laptop done here before, and although it went well, pieces of my laptop such as the safety rubber between the screen and the keyboard were missing. DO NOT GO HERE.
Me and my fiance brought our back pieces to our Galaxy Note 5s and had them 1800 Fixed lol. Armando was really nice and completed them in about 30 mins. Satisfied & now I got my Waterproof Galaxy S7 edge !
Never ever get your phone fixed here, they do not not use OEM parts. I got my screen replaced at this location and with in 2 days the LCD cracked with a minor drop. I took my phone back to the store to tell the manager and they said they could not replace the LCD. I paid $189 for the screen replacement which APPLE charges 129. anyway I took my phone to apple after the manager refused to fix my phone and when apple took apart the screen they told me it did not have an original part. Moral of the story is Get your phone fixed by real professionals and not a bunch of THIEVES.....
The guys are very nice and the service is instant but their skills suck I had a T-Mobile g4 with a cracked screen which needed replacement. after the screen was replaced my phone was not the same. It began navigating itself as if a ghost entered in it opening apps! closing it! clicking the home button etc. Etc. It was just really frustrating however I brung it back a month later for another replacement because I cracked my screen again and I advise them for this time to be careful because of what happen the first time and i explain to them the situation he said OK didnt offer me a discount didnt even an apologize. So when I got the phone I notice everything went back to normal hurray for me! until 5 hours later it was back to square one and worst than ever. I wouldve brung it back so they can fix it already! But i already cracked the screen again and i was not trying to give them more business. But my point is I dont recommend anybody to go to these guys due to the fact they dont know how to conduct business they messed up my phone not once but twice I will never go back to them again.
Let me start by saying this place is a complete scam. i took my iphone to get repaired in September for a screen replacement , within the same week i had to go back twice because the screen kept jumping.. after the final replacement i ended up cracking the screen again but this time i went to an apple authorize technician and was told parts from my was missing and the screen was a complete mess. They stole the base to my battery and home button. NEVER AGAIN
If i could give it zero stars i would. Stay away! took iphone 6 plus with touch screen issues. Had screen replaced to find out that now my phone simply said no service. Decided to go to apple. Apple said whoever fixed the screen messed up the signal antenna. my apple warranty was void because of this. I took it back to 800breakit and they tried to fix it. I was never contacted and told it could not be fixed. I was calling to follow up and thats when i was told it could not be fixed. they said to pick up the phone before 30 days or they would no longer hold it. I wasnt going to waste my time. I did not pick it up. I bought a new one........fast forward a few months. i am receiving emails stating someone is trying to reset my apple id. Thankfully the person had their cell in the email that apple sent me. When i called the person said they found the phone. Long story short. I got my phone back. Guess what. it is the phone that I left with 1800break it. How do I know? my phone was bent from sitting on it. This one is bent. This one still has the same problem no service and when I left my phone they put a piece of tape in the back and wrote my number on it. The piece of tape is still there with my number! These ppl either sold my broken phone to some poor fool with my pictures, pictures of my children, personal phone numbers still on it. Or someone stole the phone from them which I highly doubt.
I am always 100 percent satisfied with the customer service, knowledge and the repairs. I have been and will continue to remain a loyal customer. These guys are very talented and I trust them with my electronics. They have repaired items that others have told me to trash. Thank you gentlemen!
I intentionally threw my Iphone 6 pretty far yesterday (out of anger) leaving the screen shattered, and the actual phone bent. I went into 1800 Fix it and Cesar gave me 100% Customer Service. Not only was he very informative, friendly, and efficient but he was QUICK! In one hour my phone was the spitting image of a Brand New Iphone. Thank you Cesar:)
If I could leave no stars I would, this place is very unprofessional and a piece of crap. Ive purchased a cell phone galaxy s5 the managers claim to be brand new out of the box, it appeared to be normal but one day later the device started malfunctioning and would not charge. I went to the store and they gave me another cell phone another new galaxy s5 they swore that I would not have any issues and once again it is ONE day after purchase and this device doesnt charge either. How could 2 brand new cell phones be defective one day after purchase? This place is a rip off, all their phones appear to be garbage in my eyes. DONT BUY HERE !!! YOU WILL GET TRASH. Not to mention they say they dont give refunds but ill be damned if you think im going to try a third defective cell phone, I will receive my refund in its totality.

Had a my sim card stuck in my samsung galaxy S7 phone and Armando was able to help me out. he kept it honest and optimistic without getting my hopes up but was kind and professional enough to see if he can try to fix the problem. educated me a bit and fixed my problem within 30 minutes. i totally recommend this place for phone repairs. i see that they fix all types of phones and even game consoles. The Hour Window Is Handled Within The Hour. Before Eye Ever Take My Phone Into Assuarion, 1800 Fix It Is Where Eye Will Rather Go. Since Their Services Are Better, Affordable And Should Guide These Big Businesses To Some Customer Service Classes.
Went to get a screen fixed, came with a broken camera and headphone jack and no external speaker function. Force to bluetooth it until decide to get something new. One star for getting one thing right. the screen. The two guys were as helpful as they could be but when the techs drop the ball, everyone looks bad..
I try not to judge a book by its cover, but boy oh boy, I shouldve made an exception with this business. Profanity-laced music blasting on the TV and unprofessional employees shouldve been suffice warnings, but as it turns out, their worse attribute is their lack of knowledge on what theyre supposed to be experts in. They actually said, Itll be $60, but we may not be able to resolve the problem. I wouldnt even trust them with something as simple as replacing a cracked screen. Stay away.
If I could give 0 stars I would...They use fake parts for they repairs. I brought 2 iPads to replace the glass and had to go back 3 times to either get the glass re-glued or the button would sink in...the button looks off centers.
Joshua did a presumptive diagnosis on my Wife iPhones 6 and told me the battery could be the issue. I paid up front and went I came back that wasnt the issue, Iphone 6 has a short circuit unfortunately. I received a refund. Thank u Joshua for trying.
I took my samsung galaxy tab 4 to get the USB port fixed. The manager himself told it would be done the next and shook my hand. I wen in on Friday 11/13/2015 and expected it to be done the next day. I call and they tell me this You did not put it on rush. Call us on Monday. 1. I was never offered rush at not point in time & 2. It was not fixed yet. I call Yesterday 11/16/2015 to see if my tab is done and the said no to call tuesday. I call today 11/17/2015 and they tell me they just ordered the piece for my tab and it will take 2 - 3 business days. I am never coming to this place again. They dont just put excuse after excuse. I am going tomorrow to see whats up. Oh and word of advice all check your receipt because mines says tab 3 when its a tab 4.

They put crazy glue in my sons new iPad and tied it with 3 rubber bands so the screen can stick smh ... they also fixed my wife’s phone they said phone would be ready by next day .. the shop was closed for 2 weeks after that ... and we didn’t even receive a call from them .. when the phone was finally returned ... the screen isn’t properly repaired and for some reason the alarm goes off every 3 hours even tho all the alarms are off .. terrible place to do business with won’t recommend if it comes to fixing a phone

My sister purchased a cellphone, that apparently was Brand New the next day, the phone wouldnt charge. She went back and they exchanged it for another Brand New cellphone, same brand (Samsung S5) that too was also defected and wouldnt charge. DONT ! Buy anything from them. 😡 waste of time and money. The folks at the third avenue location is great. I have been going there for years. Many things they fixed for me somethings they refuse to fix for me because they was honest enough to say it would not be worth it.
If I could give a worse rating I would, these guys had my laptop for 3 months and couldnt even repair it. They ended up breaking it even more, KEEP YOUR DEVICES AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE...SERIOUSLY.

I had a Nintendo switch screen that need to be fix and they where short staffed they asked if I could come back but it wasn’t something I could do so they found a solution that would satisfy me so they won’t ever let the customer go unhappy
Staff was very friendly. However none of the electronic devices that I brought in were ever properly fixed, every three months I would have to go in with the same problem... wouldnt recommend them to anyone!

My screen had problems which were not visible at all. They fixed it. Visibly everything was fine, however after a week the screen began to break completely; when I asked them about the type of material they had put on it, they told me that it was supposedly original and that I was careless, which would charge me the same amount as at the beginning. With a discount of $ 20 😡

2022-02-02I came in for a laptop repair. The screen was popping off the back/case of the laptop. It was simple repair, and yet they replaced the entirety of the back of the case with an older scratched up one, along with fixing internal issues that were never there.

2017-12-06Uncooperative , ghetto , unorganized and irresponsible with broken business practice. These are all the things I encountered during my first time getting a repair here. I came in to repair a broken screen with a new screen that I have personally bought to cut down on the average repair cost, I asked them to repair the screen that was cracked, after the repair I turn on the phone only to find out that the back rear camera was broken and it was not broken prior to when I had sent it in for repair. But what the business refused to explain to me and even on the receipt is what are the consequences if the repair people were responsible for any form of damage before returning the goods that they have repaired are ? Beyond the smiles and kindness that I had received from the repairman named Abel from the front desk of the 1-800fixit is lurking a very sleazy business practice. When I had decided to contact the main head of the business who’s also Abel, his assistant answered the phone and reply to me by saying that they are not responsible for damages that they had caused to electronics that they repaired because I bought parts for the repair. They literally blamed me for the damaged simply because I have bought my own parts, they offered no form of refund or any type of refurbishment and said that they would come back to try to see what they can do and I never got a call back . I’m now left with an empty wallet and resumed broken phone that I must repair on my own.BEWARE! fellow Bronx residents and avoid this place like a burning house.

2020-09-09Although my laptop was fixed when the part finally arrived today, Sept. 9th, it took almost 2 months for it to come. Originally, the piece was backorderd, quite understandable. The next time I called, they couldnt find the laptop it was associated it, when there was a notation that the client has the laptop. Was told they might have used it on another laptop. When I stated I hope not because I paid in full, it then turned into the part never arrived and they had to reorder it.

2017-01-19I brought my laptop in thinking the LCD was broken. I was quoted a price and later on I received a call telling me that its my hard drive and that hell do it for the same price. I was very thankful for that! I picked up the laptop the next day and to my surprise he installed the new windows as well! My computer work smoother and looks way better. Thank you so much! I will be back and recommend you guys to everyone. Great price! Excellent customer service! Great job guys!

2020-09-17Over the years they have fixed every laptop of mine at fair prices. They give free diagnostics for my laptops as well. Even during covid they have great customer service.
