Roasted cauliflower was great, a half serving is perfect for two people. Also the hummus (we order the roasted chicken hummus) was incredible and the pita was super good as well! The vibes in this restaurant are just awesome. Great energy and the staff was so happy and dancing around, love to see such a warm restaurant!
This place is such a GEM! You know those places that are just a hit? When like everything is good and consistently good?! This is the one!My friend frequents this spot about 3-4x/week just for the Caesar salad. You know its good with a carnivore is visiting a place multiple times for a salad. I was intrigues so I decided to do a lunch date at this spot. I opted for the Caesar salad since Im watching my figure. We shared the ceviche. Man, that ceviche is one of the best Ive had in my life. It was so different in regards to spices and tasted but sooo good! The staff there are super cool and great personalities. This place is great for people watching, one of my fav neighborhoods in the city. Always opt for outside seating because you never know who may walk by.GEM!
Nice dinner. A friend of ours recommended he place and we wanted to give it a try.Food is fresh and delicious, very different than what other middle eastern places offer. The prices are quite high. Entrees were good, but appetizer and dessert prices are not reasonable.Outdoor seating is cozy and cute.
I know good hummus; the garlic and tomato hummus was the best Ive ever had. The hummus was SOOO creamy and the sauteed tomatoes, garlic and herbs packed a ton of flavor. We also shared the eggplant appetizer which was very tasty. I had the fish schwarma which contained so much flavor sitting stop a soft pita... Lastly, we shared the date cake which came with a side of candied pecans (I think), vanilla ice cream, and this tasty caramel type sauce. Great topper to a delicious meal!
My experience there was great. The atmosphere; fun, the service; great. I was even given a traditional shot after sitting. I ordered the spicy falafel burger, which I thought was mediocre. Besides it being a messy sandwich to eat which was expected, it lacked a bit in flavor. I would definitely come back here though to try something else. Overall experience, I’d say 4.5 stars, and just the food that I tasted- 3 stars.
Over it! This place had good food, but overall was super pretentious, overpriced for value, crammed in tables, one bathroom for entirely overpacked place (so always a 10 min wait), and we were basically pushed out of our table before even finishing the last bite (in other words they started removing our plates before we were even done, yet we were far under the 1.5 hour max time and dropped over $200 for 4 table top brunch).I’ve been in NYC for over 15 years and frequent restaurants often, and the way a restaurant makes it for long term is not only by providing quality food, but more importantly, providing quality service where the customer is felt valued. I just felt like a dollar sign walking in and out. You can find good food anywhere, plus good service/environment . definitely will not be back. I’m certain I’m not the only one.
From the moment you step in, the decor and the vibe takes you to another place. Whether thats Miami, Tel Aviv, or whatever, its a good place. Servers are full of life, scantily clad, and ours was dancing for most of the night.Considering the fact that the kitchen was feeding the entire outdoor seating area, service was incredibly fast. The head chef (Israeli I think) was incredibly serious and knew what he was doing. I saw a lot of roasted cauliflowers, and a bunch of shnitzel (fried chicken) sandwiches. The Fatush salad was excellent, and the menu didnt leave out lebneh (sour cream cheese), zaatar, tahini, or anything else from the middle east.Everything had a certain element of spice to it. The falafel burger was able to be split in half with a giant knife and included a jalapeno aoli. We also got the spicy tahini. For starters, the beet salad was also excellent. The branzino was fantastic. It came perfectly filletd with a crispy skin and was served on top a bed of chewy, meaty chantrelle mushrooms. Yes, get it.All in all, nothing not to love about this place. We were eyeing it for a year or more, and were glad we got a chance to go.
The workers were very delightful and attentive however, I would have to remove the stars from the whole experience because the manager yelled and was extremely disrespectful to us due to a bill situation which after he acted like a complete and utter fool he corrected. The incident could have been dealt with in a civilized manner and quite frankly I have never seen a grown man who is WORKING let alone the MANAGER behave in such a way. To scream at a woman for raising a bill concern was highly disgraceful and I will not be returning. This was also a birthday event with a big group of people so he should be ashamed of himself.
Went for brunch with friends. The food was good but unfortunately the service was not so great. We were rushed despite being well within the 1.5 allotted hours - folks would take our plates with food still on them for example. There are many other good food options with much better service and more reasonably priced that you can find in the city.
Woowza. A must visit for the best telavivian cuisine in New York City. Service on point. Atmosphere and design to transport you away from quarantine life. Start with the hummus, daily specials were mouth watering, and that thing they call a falafel burger is like wow. The grilled Mahi mahi skewer is like fresh from the sea to the table. For a limited time, they are also doing a Pop UP taverna at Casa Bocado a few blocks away at Sohotel at 341 Broome Street. I can’t wait to return. Or maybe just order from Caviar once a week 😘
I’ve been here for brunch and really enjoyed it, so I thought I would try out their dinner. I got the filet dish and my friend got the garlic hummus and beet salad. The flavors on the filet dish and hummus were amazing! My friend expected the beet salad to be a salad but it was more so a dip (like the hummus) as opposed to an actual salad with greens so she was disappointed. The music is really loud in there so it was difficult to hear what the servers were saying sometimes and for them to hear you when you try to get their attention. Would return for brunch because I prefer those menu items over the dinner menu.
I came for brunch and it was excellent. The spot is trendy, so expect a crowd and a noisy atmosphere. The menu is full of fresh options, some traditional and some unique. It didn’t seem like there was one popular item, indicating to me that you really can’t go wrong. We had the Tel Avivian avocado toast and Shakshuka and both were great. I highly recommend the espresso martini, made with fresh espresso.
Beautifully designed Israeli restaurant. Great atmosphere, big windows so the place is very nicely light. We made reservations so we only waited about 5 minutes for a table (because there was a line of people at the reception). We ordered the Jachnun which was good (but you can find a better one at 12 Chairs), the spicy hummus (great), schnitzel, salad and falafel (also recommended). Everyone enjoyed the food and atmosphere. A little bit expensive but highly recommended.
Incredible food! I’ve only ordered take out twice and have not dined in or on the outdoor seating. Everything we have purchased was unbelievable. Fish was cooked perfectly with crispy skin, scallop ceviche sauce was soup worthy and of course the hummus is one of the best. My new favorite spot. I will be trying everything on their menu.
Hands down the best Mediterranean food place I have been to! I never give 5 stars to any place. But this places deserves a 5 star! From interior to the food, everything was perfect! The cafe is soo cute and perfectly decorated! They have the coziest couch also! We ordered the vegan shawarma and the spicy falafel burger! It was absolutely delicious, and the quantity was worth the price too! Their customer service was friendly as well. I would definitely go back to this place Bcz it’s the best I have tried. I highly recommend this place.
Came here on an early Sat evening expecting dinner but was still served brunch, which was no problem. I ordered the duck special and my friend the short rib. Both delicious. My only regret was not ordering more items off the menu to try. Drinks menu werent anything special in my opinion. My friend got the Limonana- which I suggest if you like licorice. One sip was enough for me. Love the vibe and decor here. The only turn off was the LOUDNESS from the people at the bar. Do not recommend for large groups (4+) as the space is very tight. Service is EXCELLENT- friendly hostess and server. Will return one day for dinner (which starts at 5pm)!
There are few places this trashy in this area. The manager OT is very creepy and constantly drunk. Not a good look. This evening the hostesses and waitstaff were particularly rude and undertrained. Our waitress did not know what a drink “up” meant which annoyed my friend but I told her not to say anything. They later forced me out very rudely 10 minutes from closing when I was waiting for my friend to return from the bathroom, after I left a very generous tip. Given that it was a cold night I would’ve preferred to wait inside especially since there were plenty of people not being harassed and the restaurant wasn’t closed yet. The drunken manager (who admitted to us that he took many shots) then proceeded to make fun of me outside the door with a group of people out loud in the street. There’s no class here and zero hospitality, not a single food or beverage item is worth tolerating the alcoholic staff. This place is a zoo, so many better options.
Great food and great people including the owner except for the manager Adam al nathan. He racially attacked me for taking an Instagram story of below picture. He screamed at me and said ‘what you doing and who are you/ do you have a table’ when we had a table outside (our server who’s a great guy jumped in). I’m a Senior VP at a big bank and never been treated like like the way he did ever in my life. My best friend who’s a British guy who goes there everyday takes Instagram stories to promote restaurant and he never said anything to him so I questioned him weather my race has anything to do with the fact that he profiled me and he was going to psychically fight me. A message to the owner - please ensure that folks work in the hospitality industry are held to a higher standard of service
After being introduced to this location I had to come back with my family. The food here is amazing, and the atmosphere is everything youd expect from a 21st century New York brunch location. The food is all full of flavor, and they have gluten-free bread as an alternative if that is a necessity.
The nastiest hostess , insisted we sit outside but we were cold . No accommodations , heard it was a fun place , came in from Florida , the blond woman at the door ruined my night ,the food may be good but with that attitude , 🙏🏻They go out of business fast ! I did explain we are from out of town how can people be so nasty , I will never recommend ot his place to anyone . Change your employees !!
Really enjoyed Sunday brunch here. Cozy, tight space creates a really fun atmosphere as long as you’re okay with all the tables being on top of each other. Was fun to see the friendly staff hustling as they pushed out great food quickly. Only complaint would be that we felt pushed to turn over table (despite being there for just about an hour). Will still be back when we’re in the area!
The hummus and warm pita was the best part of the meal. Really wanted to like the lamb carbonara, but the dish cooled down rapidly between the egg yolk I had to mix in and eating outside. It also had a little to much black pepper in the carbonara sauce as that was really the only thing I could taste after every forkful. I would definitely go back for drinks and appetizers/hummus though.
I always read reviews with a grain of salt. Dont let some of these crazy negative reviews deter you. There is one on here recently posted where someone was complaining about waiting 25 minutes to be seated. Its NYC. Get with it! This place is very cool, place to be seen and people watch. The vibe is great. The music is great. The food is excellent. Its a scene. If you are looking for a quite place, with plenty of room at all four sides, this may not be the place for you. Do note that. I look forward to going back.
The food was delicious. The service was a little bit annoying asking several times whether we needed something else as they noticed that we were almost done eating. I replied that I was just eating slowly and they continued asking until I asked for the bill. The Restaurant was not full, nobody was waiting .. . So I dont understand the rush. They gave me the feeling, they wanted to get rid of me. It is a pitty because it was a nice place and I wanted to stay longer and continue ordering after a short break.
Ordered delivery and was pretty disappointed. I specifically called and asked if they could make the hamburger well done. I received all the food cold and the hamburger was medium rare and extremely greasy. Tasted more grease than anything. The truffle fries just tasted like plain basic frozen fries with some herbs sprinkled on them no truffle. Looked really great on the online pictures 🤷🏽♀️
Most amazing - first spot I have ever had a fish shawarma, that sends me to heaven every time I savor it, and the smoked eggplant, unlike any version of babaghanous for this eggplant fanatic. Coffee and drinks are to die for and Andreas, the bar tender, has magic on his side. Kudos!
What an amazing experience! Food was amazing!! Atmosphere was perfect and the staff seals the deal for a perfect experience.Best hummus in NYC, the duck tacos was so unique, blew my mind away and the whole Branzino special was cooked perfectly and served beautifully.Adam & Andre took amazing care of us recommended great cocktails and shared with us Arak. What a treat.I highly recommend this place, one of the funnest nights I had in a while!!See you soon 19 Cleveland!!
I think it’s only good for groups. Not for a date or if you plan on having an actual conversation. Loud music made people yell louder to hear each other. It’s also too dark (like nightclub dark) you can’t see the menus or what you’re eating well, and it doesn’t seem like they had the AC running (went in July). The food was okay but not great, at least not for someone who’s from the region and knows a thing or two about the flavors of middle-eastern food. And certainly not appealing enough to endure a hot, loud and dark dining experience.
Saw some pictures on Google and decided to walk in here randomly.Didn’t know what I was getting myself into except the music, the vibe and the food was amazing.I had the best ceviche and fish fillet I have ever had that was tasteful and fulfilling at the same time.High recommend it alone, couples or groups.
Many Israeli restaurants that popped out in past years claim to have what it takes to bring the Israeli cuisine experience to NYC , only 19 Cleavland really holds the title & tops them all , from the moment you arrive the staff will always be nice and at your service, the chef has golden hands especially with hummus, skinless Bronzino & so many authentic Telavivian choices , the Owners are always welcoming and make sure that your like family to them. But don’t just listen to me , go & experience.Simon
First visit here after my neighbor told me they have the best shakshuka, we live in the neighborhood so we walked over there. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to focus on the food, as we were seated outside, right next to filthy water soaked garbage. A clear lack of self respect & pride. It stinks, signs of the usual NYC 4 legged infestation and just disgusting that they would leave that be. I can understand the frustration if it’s not their area or responsibility, but what difference does that make? Should still clean it up. It makes me think of what else is going on in the kitchen if they have the ability to look at that trash and do nothing.
UPDATE: such bad management.. Google Maps says they close at 11pm, but they refused to seat us at 10:15. Thats not how listing hours works!Love having more Israeli places in the city. This one feels like a Fancier Miznon. Labane beet started was incredible but duck tacos fell flat. Schnitzel is good, solid but basic. Cocktails are completely overpriced ($15 for a Lemonade with Arak). Reservation system needs to be redesigned so people can specify whether they want an indoor or outdoor table. Reservation was at 8 but they didnt seat us until 8:25. Service after being seated was great.
I love Mediterranean foods! Their tasty and full of flavors! But this Mediterranean restaurant 19 Cleveland Telavivian is a gem that you must try at least once in your life time, its meals are so flavorful that your pallids will have a feast! So please dont be shy and drop by to enjoy a bit of the Mediterranean life styles flavors.
Unlike I usually do with places I love - Id start with what I didnt like (in the hopes they perfect themselves) - I think that the waitresses were underdressed for the weather (if it was a hot day - wear floss, I dont care).. but on a cold day, feels like they are all asked to and it gives me a weird vibe. If thats the dress code have the guys underdress as well, fair? As an Israeli in a Tel Avivian establishment - its absolutely unrespectful and annoying to keep coming to ask if were done 5 times in 20 minutes, I was very close to get very upset; gotta work on your manners and respect your clients. Would never happen in Tel Aviv, not even in the Minzar (I am a born & raised Tel Avivian, from the heart of Tel Aviv) One bad review costs a lot more than a 1000 good ones. Now to business - The prices are high BUT: Awesome Tel Avivian vibe, great design, fun music, clean. The Amaretto Sour was FAB, schnitzel was great (not thick, not too thin), mashed potato a bit on the sour-side if you like that (didnt bother me) and it was smooth as silk (adore). Burger was wonderful, truffle fries was a blast. Our friend said the shrimp dish was to die for.
I ate here during the pandemic and was seated in such a way that both members of my party were physically touching people at other tables since they clearly let oversized groups into the spaces next to us...so much for social distancing. The food was decent at best and the service was incredibly slow.
One of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood...honestly some of the best hummus I’ve had in NYC. Incredibly friendly staff, fantastic food, very reasonably priced. Even if you don’t think you feel like this type of food...just eat here, you won’t regret it — it’s really great
Delicious food, great vibe, friendly staff and service. The burrata, fattoush, salad, hummus and roasted cauliflower starters were all full of flavor and nice sized portions. The branzino main was also perfectly cooked and sitting atop a delicious puree. The outdoor seating was comfortable and the wait-staff were all very attentive, helping keep the party vibe going with shots of Arak. 4 stars as the new post covid menu doesnt have many of the dishes on their website menu- cacio e peppe, crispy, artichokes, salmon main etc. Will make you miss and reminesce about summer nights in Tel-Aviv and have you counting down the days until you can travel again to that magical city.
Two words: TREAT YOURSELF!מקום מדהים. כל הכבוד לבעלים. סוף סוף מקום שאנחנו יכולים לאכול בו ולהרגיש כמו בבית!!!!I have been trying to come here for months and usually never manage to snag a table. This time I got smart and made a rez (warning- 20$ no show/cancellation fee for rezos). As a prior reviewer said- many MANY places have popped up over the years claiming to be middle eastern/israeli and have shuttered. Why? Because the food, ambiance and service did not live up to the expectations of a truel tel aviv local hang. 19 Cleveland blows all the competition WAY out of the water, by a long shot. The staff- Chelsea and Chris showed us a real warm welcome and were fantastic from start to finish. I wish more places in NY were like this and reminiscent of the NYC i grew up in the 90s where every cafe and bar felt like home. 5 stars... truly.Food/ambiance:We dined outside for lunch. Our dishes came out to tempurature and were all perfectly plated and on time. Beet salad on bed of labneh and zataar- unreal. Burratta- perfection. Eggplant- so stunning. Shawarma w/ chicken- epic and tasty. And surprisingly, the papardelle w/ lemon and fried egg was a star. The salads are served with crispy breads and fresh pita in a basket JUST LIKE IN ISRAEL (the way it should be!!!). Take it from a former Tel Aviv chef- and treat yourself to a meal here. You will not regret it. Cannot wait to get back and delight in the dinner menu and the staff!
Walked in at 3pm on a Sunday hoping to grab a quick salad and requested to be seated in the front or a communal table with warm lighting. But the manager at the restaurant was incredibly rude and not at all accommodating, stating that I have to leave if I don’t sit at the bar or in the back. When the branding of a restaurant is “feel like home” and a neighborhood joint, it is extremely disappointing when the service is beyond rude and cold. Will def not return or recommend this to anyone who is hoping to have a nice dinning experience.
Worse experience I ever had i and was just to pick up an order I don’t want to imagine how would the service be if I dine in. The manager literally didn’t care. I made an order online 30 minutes before going and when I get there they made me wait 30 more minutes after that I told the manager I been waiting all that time and he said he didn’t care if I leave giving an attitude. When I was nice from the beginning and didn’t care waiting. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Do yourself a favor and DONT come here. And no only that. He replies to the review with lies LOL never offer compensation. More than 40 min waiting. Please use the reviews to write accurate things, no wonder the amount of bad reviews you have.
Well to start, we walked in and the host (guy with curly hair wearing a hat) had an attitude and rolled his eyes at us because we were three people without a reservation. He then led us to the back tables and walked away without seating us. After walking back to the front, he gave us an attitude once more and said dont know what you want me to do, its a small space and its tight in here. The vibe or food didnt look so great either. Long story short, take a short walk to the next Israeli spot where they actually have manners and great food :)
This place does not respect reservations. Don’t bother making one, and be prepared to wait 40+ minutes to be seated even if you’ve gone through the effort of reserving a table. We arrived on time for our 9:30 p.m. reservation. Immediately, the hostess told us it would be a 15 minute wait. We accepted. We ended up waiting more than 50 minutes before finally being seated at around 10:10 p.m.While we waited, we obviously asked for updates on timing. The staff told us repeatedly it’s not their fault they are super busy and couldn’t seat us as such. On the 20 minute mark, the manager literally said “it’s only been 20 minutes”. Isn’t that the point of a reservation? Most places will at least be empathetic or apologetic in a situation like this. The hostess was very nice about it, but the manager was a jerk and pretty much said “not my problem”They pretty much blamed us for choosing to come on a busy night and lacked 0 empathy. It’s a shame because the food is actually quite good but clearly the management team cares very little about the overall customer experience. Though the food was good, it was not good enough that it’s worth waiting 50+ minutes for.
Do yourself a favor and don’t come here. Disgusting experience with the manager. Service horrible. Couldn’t even get to eat after the awful way I was treated. I got up and left. Never were rude to them. AWFUL SERVICE. So when you get a bad review, is a fake review? Maybe treat your customer better on don’t lie don’t replies 😉
Great new spot for Mediterranean food. Got seated during a slow lunch near the open windows and tried their fish shawarma, because I just had to know how that was even possible. Its not packed on vertical rotisserie spits like I was expecting, but it was flavorful and had a great sauce with pita to soak it all up. Seems like they have quite a few seafood options on the menu. Friend had the falafel platter, which he said was great. Came with three falafel varieties, classic, spinach, and spicy. I tried some of the samplers they were passing out on the curb and it was much more tender and moist than what Taïm or Cava put out. Waiter was also super friendly and upbeat. Enjoyed a real nice sit down lunch. Hope to return for more soon.
Great bar service, very, very fresh food!Unfortunately this place has a classically rude host who told me and my guest that we could only sit at the bar because they had sooo many reservations coming in and we couldn’t sit at a table. There were empty tables when we left. I understand balancing reservations, but maybe be a little nicer before being hostile.
We had a wonderful experience at 19 Cleveland. It wasnt just the amazing food we had, but the atmosphere and service that contributed to the whole experience.! Staff are friendly and did a great job with recommendations of cocktails and food-which was perfect for sharing.
As a woman of middle eastern descent I can confirm this place is legit. The fattoush is beyond delicious. Ditto with the spicy falafel burger (gluten and dairy free!) + thin crispy fries with a spicy aioli. Between all the hummus’ the roasted tomato and garlic is the best, followed by the chicken hummus. YUM. I got mine with crudités and couldn’t get enough. Quite honestly, I haven’t had a bad meal here ever. The owner and his team are so friendly and inviting. Can’t wait to come back!
Potential patrons may want to consider that dining out doubles your chances of contracting COVID, going to bars triples it, and that infections are increasing among those in their 20s to 30s. The crowding referred to in Keren Rabis and Louise Rauhs reviews is real. You may also want to be aware that owners of 19 Cleveland have relentlessly harassed single women and a young child resident in the building because of their complaints of hazardous conditions. There are plenty of less risky dining-out options.
I came on Wednesday and had dinner with my friends and we really love that place and enjoy the food and all of the staff but the blond waitress with short hair that we had several times coming here just doesnt know what she’s doing. Can’t believe such amazing place hire such unprofessional, with no restaurant knowledge at all and on top of that very disrespectful worker. She doesnt fit the 19 Cleveland vibe and makes customers having bad experience.
Don’t bother making reservations at this restaurant. They won’t let you in and make you wait an hour before seating you. The manager is extremely rude and condescending. I’m never going back to this place nor will I recommend it to my friends. Don’t waste your time and money.

2021-09-17This restaurant really gives the Israeli -Tel Aviv vibe. The atmosphere is a bit too loud to my taste. The food was decent but not so special for NYC. The drink I had was good with a little bit of a sesame touch to it which was unique. The place itself is a bit crowded since it has very little space, add to how noisy it is, it wasn’t a very quiet, chill brunch like I hoped. However, the staff is very nice and if you’re coming with a group of people to have a good time, it could be just the place you’re looking for.

2022-03-27We had an overall okay experience. We had a table booked for Thursday evening. The music inside was incredibly loud so we were grateful to sit outside. We were surprised to hear that “we must order everything at once because they were busy that night” which was not ideal because our friend was late.We got two schnitzel, pappardelle limone, the halloumi, hummus, tahini, half cauliflower. The food was tasty, especially the halloumi and the tahini. I also liked the limonana cocktail with arak. The pasta was a bit disappointing so I would recommend getting something else.Overall it was pretty pricey. Also, there’s only one bathroom so I would recommend going to the bathroom at the ice cream place next to it (it’s the same owner) instead of waiting in line.

2022-03-17Such a good falafel burger! The spice was just the right level. The side salad is to die for. I really enjoyed my lunch. Quick service too! - although this was a weekday midday. Not sure what it’s like at other times.

2022-05-2719 Cleveland pretends to be a chef restaurant like in Tel Aviv Israel. The atmosphere and vibe are amazing, the service is excellent and friendly, the food is fine, but still not as good as chefs restaurants in Tel Aviv. The menu tries to encompass too many flavors and its a bit of a miss.Recommend coming mainly for the atmosphere and cocktails.

2022-03-27Really great outdoor seating! Not open air, but heated. We got the hummus which was excellent, the beets and the eggplant (great vegetarian options!) but the highlight was the ceviche. Recommend!

2021-10-25Awesome Israeli restaurant!!! Everything was good! We got the buratta (so creamy) and garlic tomato hummas (so good, a little spicy). The light was dim but so intimate. They also play music but its low enough that you can talk.

2021-11-05Amazing food, great drinks, good vibes except the guy with the tambourine. I would give a solid 5 stars if it wasn’t for him. I suggest you set max time on tambourine to five minutes; this guy went on for a half an hour. Someone at the table next to him had to confiscate it; everyone surrounding was relieved.

2022-06-18The tahini and hummus were phenomenal. But the falafel sandwich is to die for!The guy who welcomed us was THE MOST fun person. Really makes the atmosphere so good here!

2022-08-14I’m giving this 5 stars with the below review, because I don’t want it to close, I simply would like to provide constructive criticism.Used to be one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Since inflation and supply chain issues plaguing the world, it’s understandable that restaurants are forced to cut corners and raise prices these days. It really shows here though. So I kept quiet and ate the dishes without complaint despite tiny portions, high prices and low quality. Until one dish (tartar) came out that I couldn’t ignore. So I sent it back and tried to go out of my way to be kind about it and sympathize with the difficulty of the times we live in. The waitress and especially the female GM were dramatically and unnecessarily rude, passive aggressive, major attitude. Their reaction was if I had insulted their own mothers. I tried to hard to be as nice and sensitive as possible about it. I’m sorry and what can I do to make your experience better should have been the only response in my opinion. It was embarrassing. I have no problem with trying to rush the customers out because they need to make as much money as possible these days a night to stay afloat. But for those prices and those portions at that quality along with the terrible staff behavior I experienced…. I was sad that my once favorite establishment left me feeling like I never want to return.
