So we got there at 10, when it supposedly opened. They said it didnt open until 11. We came back at 10:45 and they told us they had let too many walk-ins in. I am a female with some guy friends. Look - I go out the time in NYC, and I work here, I am very intelligent with a good job. I argued with them and they gave me 5th grade responses. Eventually just decided it was not worth it. The people at the door might be the worst on NYC.
Sketchy bouncer who made us put a tab down for a minimum when Others were closing out. Music was on repeat and I must have heard same music 4 times in 2 hours
Was at this club when literally no one was there. They invited us down but insured that we had other friends coming behind us. No cover for us. All eleven of us get in. The bouncers are definitely testing the group as well to see how drunk we are (we weren’t drunk). Makes sense later. Get down to the unimpressive, empty “club” and the bartender (who we later find out is the “owner”) gives my friends two drinks and says two rounds of tequila are on the House. Charge her $75. Friends arrive. They tell them to get in to see their friends they had to pay $1200! They dropped the price down to $900 but we bounced. Don’t waste your time at this place. DJ has itchy fingers and changes the song every 10 seconds. The room is a literal jail cell where they hold their hostages. Went to a different bar and enjoyed the rest of the night.
They don’t do singles and as far as I can see it is not mentioned that clear
Friendly staff/bouncers. The doorman was honest and let our group in after a short wait.Club is on the small side but the tunes are good and diverse. Highly recommended. No cover charge.
This place was completely empty and tried to charge half of our group 1200$ to come down. Then they said two shots were free and charged $37 for two drinks. Music is ok but if youre looking for a bang for your buck definitely dont go there.
Super small underground club. Not the reason why I give it 4 stars, but just as a heads up. This place can probably fit 50-60 people in the venue max. Very fun though when the right DJ is on, as it can really set the vibe for how intimate this place is.Good place for dancing with your friends especially after youve some drinks at the upstairs venues, Rochelle. Just be weary of the line as sometimes it can be a really long wait.
This place is definitely for the younger crowd looking to get rowdy. The DJ was good and drinks were strong but it gets crowded and feels like youre in a college fraternity basement. Overall it was fun but Im not sure its my scene.
Went with a friend whod booked a table and whose friends were already inside. Clown on the door refused to let the (sober) birthday girl go to her own party, even if she left the rest of her friends at the door... said wed have to buy another one. We did in the end, only at another bar.
My coat was stolen and the workers just told me I shouldve coat checked even though we had a table. Put coat down for two seconds and it was taken
Unfortunate to give this review, because I do know the owners a little. I’ve seen it too many times that they don’t let people of color in. It needs to be addressed at this bar.
Will reward! I had a black north face ski/rain jacket with a hood and mid size lining accidentally taken. If you happened to grab this by mistake I would apprecciate a return! Going skiing in a few weeks and it is much needed. Please contact if you happened to grab it. Thanks!
This place deserves 0 stars. Such sexist service. NYC people- do yourself a favor! If you want to be harassed and overpay for drinks: wait in line for hours, and become miserable once your inside.
This place was disgustingly rude to us. for no reason. We walked up casually trying to see what the line was for. A man at the door verbally accosted us and told us he wouldn’t take our money even if offered. Literally ruined my cousins birthday and made her cry. Terrible.
Bouncers during weekend nights were rude, dismissive, and inconsistent with who they allowed inside. Not worth the risk if you don’t have a reservation!
This place can get a little crowded towards the end of the night but the crowd is fantastic and the bartenders are really good at getting you drunk before you know it. Definitely one of my favorite places downtown.

Decent club but most rude, aggressive, swindling bouncers (especially those on Aug 12 evening) ruin the experience.
It’s very small and underground. Great vibes on the weekend and the line doesn’t get too long.

2022-08-19The security guard at this place tried to charge us $300 to get in on a THURSDAY with 5 people when there was no line. Completely unprofessional and I doubt the owners know that their bouncer is treating potential patrons like this. I will not be coming back to this bar or recommending it to any of my friends.Update: I guess the owners do know and are just fine with this type of behavior - like the owner said, there are bars on every corner in the city so you should go to one of those where you’ll be treated well instead!

2022-09-11Not sure if the owner is like 12, but they need to do better and taking criticism. The music at the place was fine, it was crazy hot though and the overcharge for drinks. Didn’t see a menu either so they pull a price out of anywhere.

2022-09-11Unsafe experience on Sat., September 3rd. I came here with a group of 5 people. I had no expectations - Id never heard of the place before. Its a club, but it feels more like an intimate drinking lounge with tables, built-in bench seating, and LOW ceilings. Despite this, women stand on benches throughout the place to dance, even though they have to continually watch out or theyll hit their heads. I decided to join in the bench dancing fun bc floor space for dancing is so limited. Bad choice. I quickly got down bc I wobbled and it scared me. I was thrilled I hadnt fallen. Yay! I resume dancing alongside friends (who hadnt noticed I wobbled), then thats when I spot him. This short, muscular bouncer comes walking my way. I grab my purse bc I can tell hes walking with intensity. He slips his arm in mine. I dont argue or resist, and he just walks me out. Doesnt say a word to me or anyone that Im with. Shudder. So creepy. The bouncer was stealthy. None of my friends saw anything. From their perspective, one second I was there, the next I was gone. Obviously, the bouncers are being proactive, which I can appreciate, but not saying something to someone, and leaving a woman alone on the street in this neighborhood is just awful treatment. Your bouncers should have said something to me. You could have said, We saw you almost fall. If you get on the bench again youll be asked to leave. Anything would have been better than a secretive walk out in silence.

2022-08-29My friends and I opted to pay minimum bar service we had to get ($200) just to get in. One of the smallest lounges with no AC, hot as balls in there. The bartender didnt even have a shaker so we couldnt get the drinks we wanted.

2021-12-15Scam, DO NOT COME HERE! They will charge you a minimum spending amount for your group, ours unfortunately was $400 + 18% tip/tax = $500+. Its our fault for agreeing. This amount doesnt give you table or couch. You are literally in a basement. They play the music on repeat, heard the same songs over and over again. But we couldnt leave until we spent the amount. If they want repeat customers, this business model is not going to sustain.

2021-07-18I saw two men in front of me in line get kicked off the line. They, like my group, waited around 1 hour to get to the front just to be told that they should go back to the end of the line. (The bouncer didn’t even bother with a less egregious excuse except to tell them that, magically, the line no longer included them). This behavior was disgusting. My friends and I chose to leave. Wish I read the other reviews before waiting on the line for this place.

2021-09-06Clearly based off their reviews, this place is horrible. We had 9 people and they told us in order to go in we either had to order bottle service for 1000$ or open a 500$ tab. We agreed to pay a 500$ tab since it was roughly 50$/person. We were in the bar ordering drinks and were at about 350$ when we ordered a round of shots for our crew to get us to the 500$. We did so, and next thing we see is our tab at 660$ with no explanation. The bartenders would not give us an itemized receipt. Will not be back. Do not go here, this place is shady… there are a million clubs in NYC. Spend your money at a more upstanding place!
