I been coming to 209 Dental for many many years. Today was the first time I had a dental cleaning with this really pleasant woman by the name of Ella! She was great, thorough cleaning, and overall a delight. I will absolutely be scheduling all future cleanings with her!
I always have a great experience at 209 NYC Dental. Everyone is polite, professional, and good at what they do. They work well with insurance companies and are great at managing expectations about fees. I see Dr Nikitayev and he always does great work, he’s fast and a pleasure to be around. Go here!
Most gentle root canal of my life. I have had cleanings that hurt more from other dentists before. This place is very compassionate and takes the time to make their patients comfortable and to get to know their history. I couldn’t recommend them more!
Great experience first time. What an efficient operation (in a good way).When asked if I wanted to set another cleaning 6 months out, I said yes. Pretty standard. Show up for my apt 6 months later, and am told my insurance won’t cover as I’m a week early (note: I didn’t change the date, the scheduler put me too early) and out of pocket is $172.
I’ve been coming to 209 for a few years. The staff at the desk are always kind and seem to like the job. They’re helpful and always smiling. I recently had my 2 wisdom teeth extracted. I was a bit nervous because when I had the top ones done, at another dentist, it was a bit of an ordeal. I have long roots and had the others pulled about 10 years ago. I saw Dr. Wang and from the consult to the extraction he made me feel involved as well as informed. He explained everything before he started and did a really great job distracting me during the procedure. I never thought I’d say this about about getting a tooth pulled but I had an awesome experience. And yes, I’m writing this after the numbing meds have worn off. 209 i a great practice. Dr. Wang is an exceptional dentist. I highly recommend both. :)
My dental hygienist, Oxana, is informed, kind, gentle and thorough. She helped me understand the nerve sensitivity that had been bothering one of my teeth and studiously avoided the area to spare me pain. Shes a gem. The dentists are always professional and perform work with minimal discomfort. The entire office always seems organized and efficient.
Great practice they run up at this location. I’m not going anywhere else, I think I found one. And I mean I be visited many, taking me from Brooklyn through the Bronx… but this is how a dentist visit should feel like always.Thank you Dr Stella Park!

Dr. Park is amazing! Professional, thorough, kind and patient. I usually get nervous and have panic attacks but I felt so at ease with her! She’s very gentle. Definitely recommend her! 💗
This rating is for the front desk woman with an accent. My god. Can she be any ruder and more evasive? Doctors seem to have great reviews but I won’t bother pursuing this clinic based on my interaction with this woman. I think it is crucial for businesses to hire customer centric employees especially if they are in a customer interfacing role.
Pleasant and professional staff. They are patient. Dr. Yasmika Reddy cleaned my teeth and did an awesome job. She is thorough and explained a load of details to me. I will definitely return again for more dental work.
I’ve been going to 209 dental for 5 years since I started to live in this neighborhood. Absolutely love this place; the doctors here are professional, nice and kind. I see doctor song for my annual checkups and he’s super caring and professional. Absolutely recommend this place
Excellent experience ; dental cleaning was top notch. Oksana is an amazing dental hygienist . I had a thorough , painless professional level prophylaxis. I left the office with sparkling clean teeth and a big smile. Time and money well spent!
My favorite dentists around. It is so difficult to find a dentist that you can trust until 209 NYC Dental. The office is clean, the staff is wonderful and the dentists are professional. I can now say that I truly enjoy going to the dentist.
Came in for a cleaning with Dr. Reddy and had a great experience. She was thorough, professional, and explained everything that she was doing along the way. Additionally, Dr. Reddy got me in and out in a timely manor which is always very much appreciated. I will definitely be coming back on a semi-annual basis and can confidently recommend 209 NYC to anyone that is looking for a fantastic dentist in NYC.
Very friendly and very professional dentist. Two teeth extracted - totally painless. Procedure explained in very reassuring manner. Relaxing music in the background. Dr Wang is a very experienced and very caring dentist. Highly recommended.
Showed up was promptly seen, Dr. Park was extremely attentive and professional. Walking me step by step through what was going on and how I should treat it. Definitely helped put me at ease, with any of my dental problems. 209 and Dr. Park are both high recommendations from me.
Dr Kaminsky has been my dentist for over 15 years and I have referred at least 12 people to this practice. This is my first time visiting since he has retired, and i made an appointment to have a cleaning and the wire behind my teeth fixed. They had no knowledge that I needed the wire fixed and I saw two different dentists that wouldn’t fix it or help me besides telling me to go see an orthodontist that put it on 17 years ago. Dr Alamo sky had helped me with the wire on numerous occasions. I feel that this practice will go down hill quickly without Dr Kamisky.
We have been going to 209 NYC Dental for a few years, its the best dental office equipped with excellent doctors.We moved to Texas a year or so ago but we are coming back to NY for our dental care @209 NYC dental so we wont miss the excellent care over here.Doctor Jin Wang and Dr Ben Ifraimov are very experienced in implants and cosmetic dental work
Dentists are a painful requirement, it is an absolute pleasure to be able to go to a dentist and enjoy the experience. The practice was everything one can hope for, professional, courteous, informative, clean and quick. I wish i would have known about this practice years ago!!!!!
Ive been coming to this office for over 20yrs. Sorry to say my darling Dr Kaminski has retired since my last visit. He was professional and entirely effectivel always Dr Wong took charge this time and performed an extraction which was easy peezzy from my point of view, nearly painless. Laura did my cleaning, thorough as usual. That said, I may have to seek treatment elsewhere because of their billing process. They want cash in hand even for fully insured work. My extraction was an emergency so they wanted payment. Thats rough for a senior living on SS Well see.
Always a 10/10 experience when I visit 209 Dental for my dental cleanings and treatments. Each visit with Dr. Nikitayev is incredibly pleasant, he is always patient and walks you through every step. Toni is also always super helpful when informing on treatment plans, insurance details, costs etc.
I hate the dentist more than the next person, however I will have to say that this place changed my view on dentists. Specifically Ella, the dental hygienist. She is gentle, patient, kind and funny! Definitely ask for her!
I cannot express how grateful I am forDr AHN. He is sincerely THE best doctor I have ever met in my life!Last week, I came for the first time to 209 dental NYC office, it was an emergency I was experiencing agonizing pain and I clearly needed to see a doctor as soon as possible. I called the office and they were able to squeeze me in the next day. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was very kind and reassuring. I was in horrible pain and absolutely terrified to go to the dentist due to past horrible experiences with other dentists in the city. I was able to do x rays within minutes of my arrival, the technician was so accommodating, I was in so much pain that it was hard to do X-rays and she was absolutely gentle and patient with me. After my X-rays, I had a consultation with Dr Albert Song and his assistant. He studied my X-rays and took the time to address any fears or concerns I might have. He was incredibly nice and reassuring.The next day, I was scheduled for an emergency root canal procedure with Dr AHN. I was so scared and in pain I was shaking when I came in, but right away Dr AHN went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and cared for.Dr AHN is so highly skilled that the root canal procedure was completely PAINLESS. He was so gentle I almost found myself dozing off while he worked.I am so impressed and grateful! I cannot recommend more Dr AHN to anybody who needs a root canal.Thank you so much!
I have had two procedures done by Dr. Jin Wang and I could not, with more conviction, recommend him to prospective patients. He is efficient, knowledgable, kind, and there was never any pain or diffficulty, during or after my procedures. I found all the staff at 209 NYC Dental to be equally as professional, friendly, and just plain wonderful.

The whole office is wonderful! The doctors are very professional, thorough and nice. You feel that you are in good hands. And they work with your insurance!
The office staff is pleasant. Doctors there are good. Not a long wait, punctual. The only thing I dont like is everytime I go for a visit the co pay is different. The cancelation fee is $25 if you dont cancel an appointment 24 hours in advance. The cancelation fee went from $25 to $75 within 2 months. Everytime I go here they tell me that I owe money, even if my services (a cleaning) is fully covered by my insurance. The bottom line is when you deal with them, make SURE you get a print out of all your payments from every visit!
Words cannot describe how satisfied I am with this dental practice. Unfortunately I had a poor experience with my previous doctor in Brooklyn who placed crowns that were unacceptable on teeth 8 &9. (PFM CROWNS on front teeth!!)After having a root canal with doctor Chiyoon Ahn, (through the PFM crown, as I shortly experienced pain after the placement of my PFM crowns )Dr. Ahn recommended that I revise the crowns as the coloring was off and they were simply too bulky in my mouth.From there I was under the care of Yasmika Reddy and her assistant Melissa who took the time to remove my frontal PFM crowns and give me an updated smile. This experience was very disappointing with my previous dentist and I almost lost hope with my smile.I am so happy Dr. Reddy took me in her care and was able to update my smile. Words cannot describe the level of satisfaction I feel with my new teeth and how I felt under her care.Dr Reddy, Dr Ahn, and Melissa are wonderful dental staff (super kind, accommodating, understanding, and wonderful bedside manner!) and I will certainly be returning for any emergencies along with regular upkeep for my dental hygiene. I am forever indebted to them!

I’m writing this review in the honor of talented and magnificent Dr. Nikitaev!Today I came to see him as an emergency because my front veneer got cracked and broken in half. I urgently needed a temporary veneer or crown, and Dr. Nikitaev was able to sculpt my temporary veneer right on the spot, in 15 min, and made it look like an actual ceramic veneer. The color matched my other veneer teeth perfectly.I was beyond impressed, happy and greatful. What a talented doctor, beautiful human being and a true artist. Thank you so much, dear Dr. Nikitaev!I’ve been going to this dental clinic for a few years now. Dr. Wang is the BEST periodontist in the world, who works there. He’s done a lot of outstanding work for my root canals, bone graft and implants, - all pain free, quick and efficient. The BEST DENTISTS on the Planet! Very disappointed. Ella Grinberg was getting frustrated and rushing through the procedure because it was going over the time she planned. She kept missing my teeth and poking my gum instead. After finishing, no follow up on what she did or no other doctor to come check the work. Still see black plaque underneath and between teeth. Very disappointed with the hygiene service for the rating and price 209 Dental charges.
Dr Aah was incredibly knowledgeable indicating the error the dentist at New Horizon Dental 961 E 174th street Bronx, NY did to my root canal procedure . I will definitely come back to this dental office for any dental procedure. Office staff is very friendly I highly recommend this dental office
What an amazing experience from the front desk to the amazing assistant Nijay & doctor Yooon. I had to come out of pocket for root canal that needed to be re done, after that experience I can say don’t try to go the cheaper way. This was worth it because I got the care I needed quickly, and Doctor Yoon was so knowledgeable as he is a root canal SPECIALIST also he’s gentle! I fell asleep ! Thank youuuu so much

I love this place! They explain everything, work with my insurance and are one stop shopping for oral surgery as well as regular dentistry.Dr. Wang is wonderful! I had very little pain after the extraction and he has really worked with me to help me get the work done as I can afford itI can’t say enough about how great this place is.
I always feel at ease when visiting Dr.Horbar and her assistant. since I have a fear of visiting the dentist.And the work I have had so far has been painless. Dr. Horbar always asks am I ok as she is doing the work..and lets me know what she did and why..Thank you both again for making me feel comfortable and taking that fear away about visiting the dentist.
This office is money hungry. They sis a root canal and put a temporary filling on it. They were supposed to then do a crown on the tooth but are trying to get me to do multiple other procedures first that are not covered by insurance. Unless I spend $4000 out of pocket they will not work on the crown.Very dishonest office.Do not let all these nice reviews fool you.
One of the doctors that treated me here seemed like a great dentist until you know the money making business they run at the cost of patients teeth. Handled wisdom extraction well but a molar which could have been saved easily , he urged to get it extracted. Having lack of experience, we went through it only to know later, by all future dentists i have visited (3), that it would have been 99.99 percent saved if a thug was not out to dupe clients and make money out it. Consult at your own risk!
Fast, efficient, great bedside manner.Explained everything very clearly, including treatment options.When Dr. Reddy saw that I was suffering from a lot of pain she squeezed me in for a procedure, which I was really really grateful for.

-209NYD has every service you need at one location…-Mon thru Sat opens 730a, Sun 9a....-5-10 minute walk from the 59th and Lexington subway station.-Grateful my appointments and procedures (root canals, cleanings and x-rays) have been with ease, thanks to all the staff encountered: clerical, technicians, assistants, dentists and hygienists.A special thanks to Laura for always explaining the insurance breakdown ... to the hygienist Andrea for the most thorough and amazing cleaning in my life, that had me smiling all the way to work (because I like early morning appts) - puts her soul into it ... and of course to a great Dentist, Dr. Ifraimov.I dont love going, but it makes it easier knowing 209 Dental has excellent dental staff.7/13/22 ... Fast forward, still going strong. Had a cleaning today and feeling refreshed. Unfortunately I cannot recall my hygienists name, but it was great visit. She was thorough, knowledgable, and encourage helpful ways to floss better. Thank you!

Great service, great visit. I only wish that my root canal specialist (who was kind and very gentle) would better explain what he was doing. Like telling me that He put in a temporary crown, and how I should take care of it. I felt a little in the dark during the procedure. Otherwise it was as pleasant as a root canal could possible be. Limited wait time , advance technology (fastest X-ray I’ve ever had ,Im used to 3 techs struggling and multiple attempts to get good images) and staff is very knowledgeable.

I did dental cleaning at 172 and my dental hygienist was very gentle and professional. She answered all my questions and was very lovely :) there was also an issue with the xray machine but two of their staff rectified it quickly. highly recommend! Im so sorry Im bad with names and I dont remember anyone I had an encounter with but everyone was lovely!!
It was such an amazing experience that Dr. Song and a hygienist are so kind and made me so comfortable while I was visiting. I was impressed by their professional skills and their care for patients. I’m not a huge fan of the dentist, but so far NYC Dental has done a great job cleaning my teeth and extracting my wisdom teeth. The staff is very professional and the office is very clean. Worth checking out if you’re in area. Parking is a problem, so bring a friend and tell them to sit tight.
My spouse’s tooth broke during a weekend trip to NY -we called on a Saturday morning and were able to go right over and get in for an emergency dental appointment. (We tried several other emergency dentists first and no one could see her.) They got us in right away and were extremely friendly and helpful. Great dentist and would highly recommend.
This is a solid dental practice. I went for several years when I lived in the neighborhood and continue to go now. The doctors and staff are nice and professional, the dental hygienists are great and thorough. They also have Saturday appointments! Its hard to find a good dentist in NYC, but Ive always had excellent care with them.
It was my first an emergency visit. The place is nice, staff is friendly and professional. Doctor Nikitayev exceeded my expectations. He made suggestions regarding new treatment which I have never heard before. Going back next week.209 Dental open on Saturdays, very helpful. No long waiting for an appointment.Great experience!

I’ve had several dental procedures here over the course of 2 months (Root canal, fillings, cleaning, onlay). Every single one of my appointments was a very positive experience: I never had to wait in the lobby more than a minute or two, my dentist was always efficient yet also understanding and would take time to answer any question I had. They always told me to stop them if I was uncomfortable or in any pain. The front lobby staff were incredibly accommodating of any insurance question I had, and always made clear exactly what my out of pocket cost would be.I would highly recommend this dental office.

Very nice facility and spacious, clean and state of art devices. Dental providers, from dentists to assistants to hygienists are top-shelf, skilled and personable and all around the providers you can rely on. And they have weekend hours as well. BUT dentists are assigned care coordinators, and if you love the dentist and the particular care coordinator is one who doesnt respond to emails, or calls, or mess up with your bills by overcharging so much, do you stay with the best dentist (Dr. Song) and swallow the gripe against the care coordinator or do you at some point just call a quit and take the business somewhere else? I am still looking for that Rubicon. I just witnessed another set of patients having a spirited discussion on billing errors with that particular care coordinator. I thought the older gentleman was going to have a stroke.So, I am giving a mixed review, hoping someone at 209NYC Dental can fix this problem for us.

UPDATED WITH A DETAILED REVIEW AFTER WISDOM TEETH REMOVAL (4/1/2022):Love this place! Ive been going here for years for my usual dental cleanings and had since brought my husband and siblings over! Honestly the nicest dentist Ive ever been to in terms of service and the people. My usual hygienist Lina is also a female engineer like me #multitalented! Several months ago, I tried the new location because its closer to my house and Etoy did a thorough job with great conversation. I also met Dr. Ahn who is very nice and the team clearly adores him.Every time I go for a cleaning Im always, without fail, reminded about removing my wisdom teeth. I decided it was time to stop pushing it off and just do it. So I set up an appointment with Dr. Wang during months I knew I wouldnt have FOMO. Haha. Dr. Wang removed the right side a month ago and the left side three days ago. I was TOO nervous before the first one, especially because I knew I was going to be awake. Let me tell you how AWESOME and kind Dr. Wang and his assistant (didnt catch her name!) were, along with the front staff! When I walked into the room, Dr. Wang had the music playing and talked me through everything and it was quick! Afterwards, no swelling at all, pain barely 1/10, very easy! I was eating almost normal foods again by day 3. I worked myself up for nothing!The left side (3 days ago) was a little harder. Going in, it was just as pleasant of an experience. Although I was much braver this time around, I asked for some tunes again. Dr. Wang has a naturally great upbeat personality and conversations flowed pretty easily while I still had use of my face before it went numb. My bottom jaw wasnt ready to let go of the bottom wisdom tooth, so it took longer with more elbow grease. Immediately afterwards, I still felt completely fine! He sent my meds to the pharmacy and just like last time gave a sheet with instructions and his cell if I needed anything. The assistant was very attentive and looked up my next dental appointment, unprompted, after I casually asking when I should do a cleaning and not remembering when it was. When I got home, I hit the bed and took a 6 hour nap! Again, no swelling or painful recovery stories like Ive heard online! I texted Dr. Wang an update and he reminded me to ice, ice ice for 48 hours right afterwards (I wore one of those ice face masks) and to not skip a beat with the pain meds! I will admit to downing a giant can of 100% pineapple juice between the day before and the morning of the procedure both times (thanks to TikTok).Cant recommend this place enough.
Dr. Horbar is an amazing dentist! Her attention to detail combined with her warm bedside manner put me at ease and took the stress out of visiting the dentist. I can’t recommend her enough!
I am a repeat visitor to 209 NYC Dental and it is no wonder why. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall service great! My most recent visit was with Vlora for a routine cleaning and she was equally courteous and thorough. I have also visited Drs. Lipner and Wong in the past, and they helped set me up with becoming a repeat patient with their in-depth care. No doubt Ill be back for my routine visits.

Too many text messages and emails before the appointment! The repeating templated and automated emails and text messages make things very confusing! For example, all the messages asked to click on a link to fill out medical history even though I have done so already! I had to waste my time to call the clinic to verify that I have indeed filled out the information, and then I will still get emails and text messages with the link to fill out my medical records. The whole process before the appointment is annoying!
I can’t say enough good things about this dental practice. From beginning phone call, to happy departure after my first appointment (and everything in between) was complete satisfaction! Dr. Horbar is the best dentist I have ever had. Precise, considerate and diligent, her work was faultless. My bite has never been more comfortable after new crowns! Her personable manner turned a usually stressful experience into a pleasant one. Thank you. I recommend this practice and Dr. Horbar without reservation.
I’ve been coming to this practice for 3 years now and every time I am left with nothing but positive feedback. The hygienists and staff know what they are doing and care to ensure you are aware of what they are recommending/doing. I had Dr. Drach for the first time and she was great. This is the second time I’ve had Oksana and it’s great to be remembered by her! She makes the visit enjoyable.

I just moved to the city and I picked 209 NYC dental as my dentist and I couldn’t have made a better choice. I felt very comfortable on my first visit. I saw Dr. Liza Horbar, and she’s honestly the best! Great team and great office. 100% recommend.
Dr. Ahn and his team were super helpful. I had landed in NYC the night before and had two temporary veneer come loose on my front teeth. I was flying to Brazil for a vacation the next evening. I walked into their office without an appointment on a Saturday morning at 7:30 am and they fit me into their busy schedule. Dr. Ahn did an excellent job replacing my broken temporary veneers on my front teeth and I was able to smile in my vacation pictures! A great big thank you to a talented doctor and a wonderful team!
For the doctors here in the office, I will give 5 stars. They are very nice and professional.For the front desk ppl and the office coordinator, I will give 1 star. Very slow and unhelpful.I dont think Ill return to the office again once Im done with my procedure. So hard to deal with the front desk ppl.Updates:Paid another visit to the office for my appointment. When I was checking out with the front desk, the girl cannot find my transaction so I asked her if I can check the screen to help her find it and she agreed. Then all of a sudden, another girl just basically RUSHED to us and told me that I cannot stand on the computer side of the front desk. Super rude! I told her that I was trying to help to find my transaction but she insisted that I cannot stand on the other side. This is not the first time the girl picked on me. I don’t know if the management is aware of this attitude from their front desk! This is harassment!To the management: the doctors are really nice and professional in your office and that’s why I still want to come to your office for my appointments . I spent almost 5k in your office for all my procedures and treatment but only get this awful attitude from you front desk staff. This is very unacceptable. I hope you can realize the problem and train your staff well. There are thousands of dental offices in NYC. I really don’t have to come to this one and get insulted like this!
RUDE STAFF!Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere if you want to be treated with dignity and respect like a valued customer and patient should be treated.After my visit with the oral surgeon i asked the scheduler for a doctors note. She questioned me about why i needed one. When i answered, she laughed at me loudly in front of everyone. How rude… Maybe its the way i sounded from being numb.Regardless, as a customer/patient you should not be laughed at by doctors’ office staff. What a joke.What a shame

I have been coming here for over 12 years for cleanings and most recently the past year for Invisalign. I cant say enough about the staff and front desk. Ive seen a number of Denists and mostly Dr. Ahn for my invisign and a long standing client of Ela for my cleanings.Being a fellow health care provider I know the importance of a good compentant front desk staff, and most importantly great customer service from all members of the staff.I highly recommend them for their 5 star customer service, their cutting edge technology and spotless state of the art facilities.
I was surprised how nice the staff are. They’re very professional and very organized. I went and got a tooth pulled and the surgeon made me feel so comfortable. He talks you through it like you’re a child which isn’t a bad thing because sometimes you just need to feel that comfort and gain their trust during procedures like that
Have been coming here for 10 years now, three kids in tow. The professionalism is stellar - I’ve never had a surprise bill or a bad treatment. My daughter had issues with her teeth and the treatment Dr. Ahn suggested was not only the best but also the most affordable (as I found out when I went for a 2nd and 3rd opinion). Cleanings with Vlora are painless and kind of enjoyable actually, because she’s such a pleasure to hang out with.
I have been coming to 209 dental for the past 2 years, and had a wonderful experience here yesterday with Etoy, my dental hygienist. Ive never had a preference but I promise I will only go to her from now on. She made me feel extremely comfortable when I am embarrassed about my teeth.I then was seen by Dr horbar, and I cant begin to describe how sympathetic she was to my situation, and her willingness to help me have my teeth fixed. Its the first time Ive walked out of a dentist office so extremely happy. I strongly recommend both of them. Wonderful humans.

Been going here for years since Dr. Kafko removed my wisdom teeth and did such a great job, I barely had any swelling. All the Drs and staff here are great, though. Also, they are super organized here with scheduling and running the practice compared to a lot of doctors offices I’ve been to.
Laura is the best dental hygienist. Laura at front desk is best insurance coordinator I have ever dealt with. Dr. Ben I. Is very thorough, honest, projects realistic expectations for what needs to be done with each patient, above all kind. I recommend them all! They are very organized and gentle.

I have sensitive teeth and Oksana was very gentle with cleaning. Ill definitely be going back to her! Dr. Kaminsky examined me and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated that he didnt try to sell me dental products/services that were unnecessary - something Ive experienced at other offices. Overall the whole office was friendly, efficient, and clean. I highly recommend them and will be returning for regular check ups and cleaning.
Dr Wang preformed my bone grafting surgery/ oral surgery. He’s personable, efficient and professional. He made certain that the procedure was as painless as possible. However, the front desk girl that sits directly in front of the door is unprofessional. On two separate visits, she ignored and passed me off to another coworker. She greeted the clients after me with such a big welcome. Shes unprofessional and should be seated in the back since she has such preferences in who she decides to assist.
Everyone starting from check in, X-ray tech, Lena and Dr. Song were very nice and attentive! Lena was my hygienist I will now request her for my cleanings. She was excellent. Dr. Song as well! He has a great personality, not eager to perform unnecessary work and seems very smart. This was my first visit to 209 Dental and I’m happy to have found my home dentist. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is my husband didn’t care for his hygienist and will now request Lena. He loved Dr. Song too!

THIRD REVIEWToday I had another relaxing dental SPA experience at my favorite studio in the city.It was so good to see Liza again and chit chat about our lives.She has this was to make you feel welcome and this warmth radiating from her eyes above her mask.The music was fabulous as usual, I relaxed on the chair confident that I was resting in the capable expert hands of one of the most talented and competent doctors in the city.Her assistant Melissa was wonderful too, such a good synergy and teamwork in the room.Going to the dentist for me has become as therapeutic and relaxing as going to the SPA!Highly recommend this studio, it never disappoints.SECOND REVIEWI went back last Sunday for my second appointment. This time it was to do a filling. Lovely and relaxing experience. As you step in you literally feel as if you are entering a SPA. Liza welcomed me with smiley eyes (you can tell when a person truly smile behind her mask 😷!). She immediately noticed I had a haircut: I had been waiting 14 months to chop off my long Corona hair and having her notice made me feel ‘seen’. Liza explained what she was going to do, then laser focused on the task. I closed my eyes and enjoy the treat, listening to the soothing music gently filling the room. At every point of the process Liza checked on me making sure I was comfortable and didn’t feel any pain. She also introduced me to her assistants and praised him for the quality of the x-rays he took. This is what great leaders do: praise their staff in public (and if needed give constructive feedback in private), which made me like her even more.It has been one week, I felt no pain at all, the temporary filling in holding up very well until I go back for my last appointment to finalize with permanent filling this coming weekend.On my way out the lady at the reception confirmed I could do my payment in 2 separate installments, which was much appreciated. I left feeling light and happy, confident that I have found THE dental studio aligned with my energy where I intend to stay for many years ahead.FIRST REVIEWLiza is a kind and enlightened human being. Her hands are magical: my cleaning felt like a yummy gum massage. She has plants in the studio that add a lovely touch of calm and relaxation. She is a competent, highly skilled dentist and a warm human being. She doesn’t push for expensive treatments that don’t need to be done. The place is very conveniently located, clean, well organized, efficient and welcoming. Lovely waiting area with view on a garden and soft gentle music. I got in on time and out with x-rays and cleaning done in 45 min without it feeling rushed. She works on Saturdays and Sunday which is absolutely perfect for my insane weekday schedule. I highly recommend Liza. It was my first experience and I will definitely be back!

After trying several places with no success I found 209 NYC Dental, made a call and they took me right away. My experience since then has been nothing but smooth and pleasant. From the receptionist to the dentist- an absolute pleasure. Im SO happy I ended up at this place. A special shout out to Dr. Wang!

I want to start out with the positive. Dr. Wang did an amazing job with my receding gums! Like SO amazing! No pain at all, easy process, and they all healed and absorbed so well. He even put on jazz for me while he was doing the procedure and that was so calming. Even the one that was questionable in the beginning eventually came along and is fully covering the tooth! Im definitely coming back for HIM because I have a couple more teeth that could use his help.But before all that I came here 2 years ago for crown replacements on 4 teeth I think. Its been 2 years and 2 of them have fallen out 8 months apart. I had to go to a new dentist to get a new crown with better materials. And come to find out the dentist literally just drilled down my teeth and slabbed on a big piece of porcelain crown with glue. Imagine using a thumbtack to hold a cardboard box to the wall? Yeah, it wouldnt hold for very long. This is costing me thousands of dollars to replace now for something that was supposed to last 10-15 years. The dentist I have now is way better and actually let me choose the type of crown I want.
Dentist practice lives up to the good reviews. They offer exceptional service, I had a root canal, crown and 2 cavities filled with no problems afterwards. I recommend this Dentistry to anyone looking for a simple cleaning or to more complex surgeries.
Great staff and great follow up. Every Dentist and Hygienist is professional and has great skill in explaining treatments and options. The billing group is great in helping with insurance and payments.
Dr Iframov was especially kind and gentle during my appointment and my husbands appointment (which I sat in on). He was attentive and listened to both our concerns regarding our dental needs. My husband has severe anxiety about going to the dentist and Dr Iframov took extra care to make sure he was comfortable and relaxed. When it was my turn, my appointment became more involved than expected and he took the time necessary to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. He calmed me down when I became nervous and assured me Id be ok. He is an excellent dentist and I trust him completely! (And I dont like dentists!!)
We have been coming to here for at least 10yrs now. Our friend had recommended Dr Kaminsky and his practice, we are so glad they did. The staff is alway wonderful and helpful. Super accommodating when possible in scheduling. It’s fast, efficient and thorough… I use to come during my lunch hour and would be back in the office before the hour was up. They provide service for the whole family and have weekend appointments.Note: we feel really comfortable with their COVID-19 safety protocol.

Dr. Kaminsky was amazing! Great bedside manners, knowledgeable and friendly. His assistant was also wonderful! They made the experience easy and dare I say, fun. I also love that 209 NYC dental are open 7 days a week, my permanent crown fell over the weekend and they were able to accommodate me quickly. Dr. Kaminsky answered all my questions and did a great job replacing the crown. I would definitely recommend this dental center and Dr. Kaminsky!
I have been coming to this place for years. The office is incredibly clean and modern and all of the staff from the front desk to the hygienists (shout out to Vlora!) to the dentists are so sweet and caring. They always run things well but props to them for keeping things running so smoothly during these COVID times. I recommend them to all my friends.
All the doctors and staff are wonderful and professional. The only thing I would ask, is that in the case of patients who need to get a “flipper” adjustment, you kindly delineate to them that they bring in their old flipper. Much time is wasted when you assume that the patients understand your procedures and how adjustments work. In my case I could not have known that a new flipper couldn’t simply be fabricated. Communication is crucial.

My periodontist, Dr. Wang, advised against having a procedure performed, saying that I didnt really need it. I appreciated that. He also patiently and thoroughly explained the reasons for his decision in language a layman could understand. The support staff at 209 NYC Dental were all friendly and accommodating, too.
I was seen by DDS. Albert Song to glue my crown back in place after it fell out. Overall my experience was wonderful. Both Dr.Song and his assistant were easy to talk to, personable, and caring about my situation. Additionally, he was very knowledgable and professional aswell. I feel that I am in very good hands and I will definitely return!
The office was running behind schedule, but the level of care I received was great. Coming from a dentist’s office where most of the appointment was trying g to up-sell me on cosmetic procedures, 209 NYC Dental was the exact opposite. The level of time and care taken to speak with me about what was right for my health was such a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend!

I can’t believe I’ve never written a review for this place. I have been going to 209 NYC Dental for almost a decade. I hate going to the dentist but this place always makes it a breeze! I’ve gotten 2 of my wisdom teeth out here and I felt almost no pain afterwards, and didn’t need painkillers. All of the staff and hygienists are super professional, friendly, and efficient. My go-to dentist is usually Dr. Ifraimov but I saw Dr. Song for the first time recently and he is excellent too! You won’t go wrong coming here. They’re even open on Saturdays! :)
Im very satisfied with the care Ive gotten at this practice. Oksana Kavaka, the hygenist I see, does a thorough cleaning and has a light touch. I highly reccommend her. The office staff is courteous and efficient.

Glad I came here; the office is fantastic, very clean and sanitary. The doctors, dental aides and desk staff are all accommodating and very helpful. Dr. Kafka attended to me, I must say he is extremely patient oriented and takes the needs and personal situation of patients into account as well as his expert dental opinions. Personally he believed my aching teeth were actually due to sinus issues and recommended some advice, as opposed to immediately going to root canal, he performed some work and suggested a mouth guard - Its working so far and Im glad he started with an alternative. Additionally he is a very personable man.Also Katherine, Lou and Laura were most helpful. It is obvious that this practice cares for and about the patients.I will certainly recommend 209 Dental to people I know that need dental work and will definitely return.
I had excellent couple of sessions with Dr Dmitry to take care of some teeth decays. He was swift but accurate and meticulous. Also no pain. The staff helped me with insurance pre-approval and appealed the original rejection for me. I have nothing to complain about.

I cannot express how grateful I am for the whole staff at 209 NYC Dental. I was schedule to get a root canal in 5 days, but things took a turn for the worst and I could not wait any longer. Yesterday I experienced the most agonizing pain of my entire life. I was considering taking myself to the ER, but first called them as soon as they opened at 7:30am. Dr Lipner and his amazing staff squeezed me in and saved me from my terrible pain. He was kind and attentive and performed my root canal with zero discomfort. He really went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable and cared for.Everyone in this office was extremely kind from the desk to the dental assistants. I would highly recommend especially for anyone experiencing an emergency. I will be back for my regular check ups as well. Thank you!!
I was in so much pain from a SEVERE TOOTHACHE that I could not sleep or eat or function really, so I googled emergency dentist NYC and got an appointment the same day. I met with Dr. Song and he was fantastic. He listened to me explain my pain and then he did a check himself and talked me through what was causing it and he took care of me that same day. I was so relieved I could cry. Also, the waiting room wait was not long at all and the x-rays were fast and then right to the dentist I went. Highly recommend this office. I would most definitely be back to this office as a regular dental patient.
I want to be very clear and share how I am super ecstatic about 209 Dental. I first visited prior to covid, at that time I met with Dr Wang who hands down is the best doctor I ever connected with, his knowledge, understanding and just overall attention to detail and care for patient is like nothing I ever experienced. I am a young guy and unfortunately due to some bad habits with sweets some time back and being involved in MMA I have had to deal with many teeth that needed root canals and couple missing teeth. As a young guy, this is so embarrassing for me and definitely makes me feel sad often. Dr. Wang at the time I met with him made me better about my issues and went over the plans to get my dental health back. Already loving my initial experience, Yesterday and also today I met with Dr Liza Horbar. Now this is what truly makes me believe this dental facility is just the best! Dr. Horbar like Dr Wang is also amazing, great personality and although I know I have many issues she calmly explains what we need to do to help me. She made me feel so comfortable under her care, I have met with many dentist unfortunately throughout my adult life and never did I feel this type of care and compassion from any of past doctors. Dr Lipner is the Best Endodontist in NY. Hes very sweet caring knowledgeable very helpful and He does a excellent , Perfect Job doing retreat root canal . He explain to me about my root canal conditions what he has to doo. He does a Perfect job It was painless , smooth perfect job my infection goes away fast quickly , Save my tooth. Thank you so much to him and his assistant too. She does a wonderful job . Also Michelle is the best very knowledgeable, nice caring sweet person too . I love this office! I’ve had a tooth extraction, Invisalign with Dr. Ahn and teeth cleaning. I just had a teeth cleaning and the lady who did it was honestly AMAZING. I’ve never and I mean NEVER felt more relaxed getting a teeth cleaning I’m my life! I wish I could remember her name, but she was just spectacular.

My experience with the 209 NYC Dental team was superb, but in particular with Dr. Lipnar. A periodontist, Dr. Wang, discussed the option of an implant in place of my infected tooth. Next, the Dr. Lipnar discussed the option of a root canal. Both doctors made it clear I should not feel pressured in making my decision. So, chose a root canal with Dr. Lipnar that turned out to be painless. Literally! First, he used a cotton swab to apply a painless numbing gel. When he used a needle to inject my tooth with an anesthetic, it was just as painless. Because 209 NYC Dental does not accept my insurance, Michelle (the business manager) worked with me to reduce the cost of the entire procedure. If you need a procedure done, I highly recommend the team at 209 NYC Dental.

If you look for a dental hygienist make an appointment with Oksana Kavaka at this office. She is a great professional , gentle and patient. She takes all the time to do the cleaning, asking you if you are OK. I think her work deserves 10 stars, but what is more important is that she is such a nice person, so kind and sweet !! Mrs Oksana graduated as a dentist in her native country, so she has years of experience in this field.

Love this place and all of the Dentist and receptionist! However the new assist on my last visit was stabbing my uvula. Sweet girl but she has to hold the suction a little less aggressive up again people gums , uvula and tongue . I’ve been coming here for years this was my 1st time dealing with that.
This is the best dental office I have ever been. The service is great. Everyone is patient. It let me feel no scary when think about fixing my teeth problems. I hope I can keep good teeth for long long time.
The practice is superb! I have been a patient for 20+ years. I recently moved to North Carolina, and traveled back to NY for my six month cleaning. I wouldnt dream of going to another dental practice.
I highly recommend this place, everyone is not only kind but also gentle which is very important. From receptionist to the Dentist everyone does a great job in making your experience a non painful one. Im Very pleased of my treatment at this place.

Very pleasant tike with Dr. Dmitry Nikitayev, DDS and his staff at 209 NYC Dental. He was very attentive towards my needs and answered my questions calmly and thoroughly. Highly recommend Dr. Nikitayev and the practice.
The hygienist was very unprofessional, didn’t clean my teeth throughly and didn’t even floss my teeth. And she wrote notes on my chart says “cleaned polished and flossed” which she did not do. And also wrote patient concern about snoring advice some device which we had never discussed.They always try to upsell stuff instead of taking care of patient, every time they would find something to ask me to do for cosmetic purpose. And even I just did my X-ray last visit they wanted me to do again not because is needed I was told insurance covers it.I’ve been going there for a while now, changed different hygienists and doctors. Don’t have much positive experience to say. Looking to switch soon
I have been going to NY Dental for 3 years and never had a bad experience until today.The dental assistant,Angela has poor bed side manners. She was very rough cleaning my teeth and not very polite.This will make me rethink coming back.I like to write a rebuttal to the statement above:Thank you 209 NY Dental for reaching out to me and making things right. I appreciate your service and did not want to switch dentist. It makes a world of difference when your grievances are heard and are solved.

Exceptional service for my 8 year old. Dr. Ahn and the staff does an amazing job in ensuring my child feels comfortable and gets the best care at all times. They also ensure the facility is clean and that my child feels safe in this environment.
I recommend it 100%! The team there is absolutely wonderful, theyre kind and attentive. The doctors take very good care and are always very nice.
I have been a patient at 209 dental for over a decade. I receive top-quality care, conservatively managed in terms of minimally-invasive recommendations and state-of-the art equipment. Hygenists Ella Grinberg and Oksana Kavaka are my go-to hygienists. They are friendly, thorough, kind, and responsive to patient needs. Dr. Ben Ifraimov is the ONLY doctor I will see in the practice (though I have not yet met Dr. Liza Horbar. I will NEVER see Drs Kafko or Kaminsky again (and the front desk and hygenists respect this, as their manner is paternalistic, condescending, and borderline harassment against women.

I needed emergency dental work during this super scary time and I’m so glad I found 209 Dental and that they are prepared and ready help. I was mainly surprised by the size of the facility ; there were two other patients there and the office is comprised of two wings- so there was more than enough space for patients to sit at a distance.But most importantly the skills and compassion of the the entire staff is what I most appreciate. The dentists talked me through everything and checked in regularly on my comfort level during the procedure. I’m a terrible patient but after our Initial consult I felt okay before during and after the root canal!

Dr. Lipner is amazing! He is professional, warm,kind and very thorough. He never rushes and explains very clearly of what is to be expected in regards to procedures and recovery. His staff, especially Michelle, understand the importance of customer service. I am beyond pleased!Update : I also saw Dr. Ahn at their new Madison office. He and all the staff are warm and accommodating. Really pleasant experience.

2022-05-10This was the third dentist I visited while looking into a root canal treatment, and this will be my primary dentist going forward. My root canal was painless, and I was able to get my appointments scheduled with a short turnaround.I had virtually no wait here - I was in the exam room before my scheduled appointment time on both occasions, and I didnt have to sit around waiting in the exam room for the dentist to come.The staff were all extremely kind and helpful - one person at the front desk went out of their way to help me compare costs with different payment options - they accept insurance and dental savings plans. The quote for my treatment was nearly half the cost of the estimate another dentist had provided.I highly recommend this dental practice (and I would also warn others to avoid those new trendy dentists popping up around the city)

2022-08-06When I found out 172 NYC Dental was responsible for my friend’s beautifully pearly white teeth, I went in for dental cleaning and general consultation. I’ve been looking for a new dental office to go to and my search is finally over!! Every bit of my experience here was better than I could have wished for!The office is very new, spacious and modern. The receptionists were super nice!!For the actual dental cleaning, Etoy was incredibly kind and thorough. I feel like I walked out with a new set of teeth!

2022-04-27Good one stop shopping for all dental needs. Dr. Ifraimov is a lovely and talented cosmetic dentist and the work done here is good quality. Laura is very helpful and accommodating, But The overall customer service experience has gone downhill since new management took over the office within the last year. They have made numerous mistakes on my account and charged me for visits i never had. They used to be reasonably priced, but new management has changed that and the entire vibe of the office. I used to recommend this office to everyone but now i hesitate to do so.

2022-05-18Dr. Song is intelligent and very clear, and he immediately inspired my confidence. He has a gentle touch as well and Im glad I discovered this practice. An extra bonus is that the office is extremely efficient and well run. Folks are very pleasant to deal with too, a rarity these days.

2022-08-26Dr Ahn was very professional, caring and honest. The quick responses when I called were amazing. I would definitely recommend him. The staff was also professional and friendly. I got a good feel from this place. Also I was taken in as an emergency and even though they were busy they took me right away. Great place! Thank you❤️

2022-08-07I’m terrified of going to the dentist! So I wait till things get bad to go. I went to them just because they were the soonest available but they were awesome! As soon as I got there, I pretty much went straight to the back. My appointment was for 3:30 and I got home at 4:30…. Made me feel comfortable and had a couple laughs. I’m a little dramatic when it comes to people working in my mouth but it was a great experience.

2022-06-03I actually love coming here ! The staff is so friendly and making an appointment is so convenient. Jinnan is the best hygienist I have ever had. She is very knowledgeable and patient. I really enjoy getting my teeth cleaned and look forward to every appointment with her!

2022-06-13I had my regular cleaning, x-rays and check-up and Im always happy to go to my dentist. He and my dental hygienist give excellent care and take such good care of me. Ive been going to 209 NYC Dental since 2002! Its a positive experience and I high recommend this dental group.

2022-05-13Incredibly efficient! Early morning and weekend appointments make it easy to schedule around work and the staff is always friendly & welcoming. Its a clean, no frills office, that gets you in and out without unnecessary wait time. They also make realistic recommendations on what care you need without upselling. Been going for a few years and have had no negative experiences.

2022-04-21Albert Song changed my fear around dental visits. If you are looking for someone that truly cares about his patients Albert is your dentist. He was with me every step of the way explaining the process and made sure I experienced as a little pain as possible. He was patient kind and made my experience amazing. I was shaking when I came in and smiling after a tooth extraction walking out. I can’t see myself going anywhere else in my dental fears have been removed. Thank you Albert I hope you are truly recognized for the experiences that you create!! I wish I could give 10 stars. I can’t wait to book my next appointment for additional work needed.
