Only for dumplings until update.Soup buns: 3 stars. Average. Thick wrapper, not a thick soup.Fried beef and chive dumplings: 3.5 stars. Above average compared to fast food, but not amazing. Sauce is a bit bland.I still far prefer Joes Shanghai overall, and Nan Xiang also has better xiao long bao than here, but those are both in Flushing. So if you cant get there this could be 4 stars for XLB alone. The other food looks tasty. Will return to try entrees.
First time in this restaurant and will definitely not be my last. I had a great lunch of beef noodles, pork buns, scallions pancake, and most deliciously…the Beijing style yogurt. Yes, that is a thing! Just like how I had it when I was in China. Not so sweet, not so sour, just the right texture. We ate everything, even the kids finished their meals and the yogurt. Such a hidden gem of Chinese food.
If you are dumpling hunter this is your spot! The most authentic soup dumplings outside of the Michelin starred restaurants in Queens and the city! A real treat with awesome traditional flavors. When I love a restaurant I usually enjoy the whole menu, this is no exception.A great date night spot for those who enjoy food!
I ordered- Dan Dan noodles, beef ba b que, general tso , shrimp fried rice, scallion and pork fried dumplings. Everything was sooo good. I’m eating and thinking I wonder if they have egg foo young! Beef bar b que, a little salty (4stars) but tender, not tough. It came on a stick. The shrimp were medium size not tiny. I am definitely going back. I have tried like 5 different Chinese restaurants so far this is the only one. I’m thinking of trying their other dishes!
The taste is ordinary, but the price is very low. In addition, apart from the waiter sometimes being lazy to deal with you and misremembering the name of the dish you ordered, the service is still very good! The dishes are made quickly, which is the advantage of this restaurant.
Food was subpar and expensive for what it was. I was in the mood for fast take out style Chinese for lunch but my wife insisted we sit in. First of all, the cup I was given for tea was all chipped at the edges and was disappointed to begin with. It was not a take out restaurant but dine in style and the menu didnt have all of your typical fast food dishes. Anyways, the lunch menu was not the best to choose from as it only had a handful of choices and the prices were around $10-$11 which is okay but was expecting a lot more ( I guess compared to a take out spot). I had the beef with vegetables special and the food was okay.... definitely not worth the $10 they charged. I prolly wont be visiting again any time soon unless I am absolutely craving chinese....but I would look for another spot before coming back.
The service was extremely poor and the only two waiters available on a Saturday night barely spoke a word of English. The steamed chicken appetizer was not edible and by the time we asked to send it back they were bring out the main course. I would not recommend or repeat. Plenty of other choices in the neighborhood..
Me, Wife and daughter went there, They ruined all of our family meal. One of there noodle soup is putting SPAGETTI in Soy sauce and Dan Dan Men (Noodle with spicy sauce) was too salty to eat so i only tried once and never had it again. Soup dumpling and Chicken skewer, Well, they maybe keep both in freezer too long so everything dried even after steamed and fried. It was the worst food of my life and You can find better restaurant around you when you would like to have Chinese food.
Wow, service was horrendous. It felt like I sat myself and my boyfriend, then went to a table with no menus and no water, and they dont even check on you! I literally had to raise my hand several times like I was in a classroom. The dumplings saved this review, maybe, not really cause Ive had cheaper and better in Queens. Lastly, the dim sum burger was like eating salt off a bun and the Chinese sausage is not traditional but like fake pink hot dog slices that I thought would be lapchoung since they made everything else so authentic. Never coming here again.
Immediately next door to H&Y Mart this is definitely a place for authentic taste. But what we ordered had no taste, unfortunately. Being pescetarians has its limitations here, so not recommended especially for vegetarians. The tea they served was awful, the tea bag was probably made out of a plastic coated fiber. No taste and was unable to steep. Not sure why they dont go nextdoor to obtain this proper brewing beverage. For the whole fish lover, definitely try their house special cooked at the table. Wish this resembled shabu-shabu, then it would be a complete success! It has the potential.
If you are into flavorful and tasty food, this might not be the best place. Their service is wonderful and food comes out fast. However, theres an after taste that may be sensitive for people that have a strong sense of taste. Their food comes in decent portions and price is affordable.
Had lunch today here and let me just say.. Dont do it to yourself. The waiter was rude and didnt seem to want to be there. He spilled hot noodle soup on my aunt, her phone, and the table when he was trying to put it down. He just tries to walk away and doesnt apologize and just comes back to throw some tissues to her so she can clean it up. Still no apologies. Asked for a manager or the boss and there was none there. 🤔🤨Food was not great. Only thing that was okay was the pigs feet and bok choy. Steamed soup dumpling had thick skin and barely any juice. Scallion pancake had no flavor. The cold noodles were spicy. The soup noodle was OK for the kids because noodles were soft but the meat in it was horrible.Lets just say definitely not going back.
The tofu turned sour and the white rice spoiled too. Thank you for the waitress REMOVE the sour tofu and still keep the old dish for us. She did changed new rice for us. Thanks the waitress claimed that we got the RICE for FREE! BTW. We didn’t get a sincerely oral apology from here. Very disappointed. Anyway I paid the 15% tips and just wanna let them know I am not PICKY but I need Fresh Food.
I had gone during a time when the restaurant was not too busy. However the service was still extremely slow, and it seemed though that the waitress was more attentive to other patrons. I had to go up to the counter several times just to request for items such as utensils, water, the bill etc. The food was okay and the price is reasonable, just really the service that hindered the dining experience.
F A N T A S T I C!!! This place has some of the best noodle dishes ever. The soup dumplings are simply divine! Im also a huge fan of the communist China aesthetic they adopt here (as ironic as it sounds). The food is great, thet staff is professional, and it looks good for what it is. They even let me puechase one of their tea mugs (theyre cheap little things but they have reprintings of communist china propaganda posters on them, which I think is really cool.) The tea is alspmo fresh brewed at your table. Simply amazing.
To be clear on this rating: it is a result of the establishment failing to be open at the hour listed on the door & listed on the website. Worse - a young lady who was laying tables declined to come to the door to provide information. I used 3 languages to ask & she just looked away.I will give this place one more chance during a weekday evening. I hope I will be able to retract this very negative review since I unfortunately did not even get a chance to try the food.
The first time I went here, most of the Chinese food I usually eat is American, but it is still relatively traditional Chinese food, such as sauce duck, pigs trotter, grilled fish, crab flour tofu, we ate ten dishes, all of which were very good. Recommended for friends who love traditional Chinese food, this is a good choice. Doubanyu strongly recommends that it is too delicious. I specially asked the boss to add the noodles and blend it in. It is delicious and cant stop. The service attitude in the store is really warm. Friends who miss hometown may wish to try it. Meet three or five friends again!

2021-10-14I am here right now with my wife, just happened to pass by. Wow. This is an amazing place. The menu is truly unique. She ordered the noodles and ribs, I ordered the bbq lamb leg. Amazingly good! This piece of leg would cost 3x the price in any other restaurant. Over all place is clean, and the owner is very proud of his creation.

2021-06-10Every now and then, you find a place you know in your mind, this is going to be good, real good! This is it! I grew up in Queens and know Asian food pretty well, not Amercanized Chinese food, I dont eat that. This place is superb 👌! Im not going to get into the food other than get ready for a fantastic experience. That is of course if you enjoy, FRESH food, great service, cozy places to eat. I hit the jackpot today and look forward to tasting everything on the menu as I keep going back here again and again.

2022-02-19Food was good. Youre going to find that this is one of the more authentic restaurants in the area where they serve traditional noodle favorites like Spicy Dan Dan noodles or Beijing style chajang noodles. The beef noodle soup was one of the better ones Ive had in a while where the beef is tender and broth is 5 spice flavorful. The dishes here reminded me of my mothers cooking (although you cant really compare) and thats a pretty high compliment. Nothing here is extravagant, but they do all of these very well. If you cant go to Flushing for shanghai/szechuan/taiwanese, then I recommend this place.

2018-03-30Recently I’ve been searching my area of Long Island for any place that might have traditional Chinese soup dumplings (xia long bao). Being a chef and a foodie, I follow a lot of food accounts on Instagram and it seems like these soup dumplings are becoming very popular, especially in Queens and NYC, because I’m constantly seeing posts with pictures of soup dumplings from restaurants in those areas. While using Yelp recently to write a review, I decided to enter “soup dumplings near me” into the search bar and to my surprise, a restaurant not too far from me in Hicksville popped up called 365 Noodle Bar and Grill.Very excited, I called Lahna and told her to meet me there for dinner that night, Friday, 3/16/18. I entered the address into my navigation and it brought me to a shopping center where it said the restaurant was located. At first, all I noticed was the sign for H&Y Asian marketplace and drove around for a few minutes trying to figure out exactly where it was. I finally realized that the restaurant was to the left of the H&Y. You can tell by my photo of the entrance that the sign hardly displays the name 365 Noodle Bar. This made it difficult to recognize at night.Once we entered, we sat and were immediately overwhelmed by the menu. Although the menu was in English, we still didn’t know what was what. Luckily, there was an Asian-American family sitting next to us. I struck up a conversation with the young girl, who spoke both languages and asked what they were having, because everything on their table looked so good.We eventually ordered the steamed pork soup dumplings, beef noodle soup and shrimp lo mein.I have to be honest and admit that I’m not a big fan of Chinese food. When I do order it, the only thing I ever get is chicken and broccoli, boneless spare ribs and wonton soup. I don’t know the difference chow mein and lo mein and egg foo young sounds like a karate move to me. So this experience completely took me out of my comfort zone, especially since I let a stranger order our meal for us. However, I was quite surprised with how good everything was.My first experience with soup dumplings lived up to the hype I had built up in my head. I was excited to receive the little basket and open it to see 6 perfectly shaped dumplings. Knowing that there was soup in the dumpling, in addition to the pork, I bit into the first dumpling and was able to sip on the soup as well as get a bite of pork and the dumpling. It was 3 different experiences for my mouth all at once and it made me very happy. For our first time ever having soup dumplings, we really enjoyed them and I’ve been thinking about them ever since. The soup was pretty good too. Different than any type of wonton soup I’ve ever had. It was a very mild beef broth with very thin dumpling noodles. We enjoyed it.The shrimp lo mein was also very good. It had a lot of thick noodles and good flavor but could’ve used either more shrimp or larger shrimp. But for the first time having lo mein, I enjoyed it and now know there are other things on a Chinese menu that I can order. All in all, we really enjoyed the food at 365 Noodle Bar and Grill. I would definitely like to go back and try new things on the menu. Hopefully they’ll be another nice Asian family in there who can tell us what to order again. If not, we’ll definitely go with the soup dumplings again, and take our chances ordering something new.

2018-10-04This place used to be used to be Koreana. Now its a Beijing/Szechuan/Taiwan style restaurant. They have pork and crab Soup Dumplings and Hot Pot style food. Very clean facilities. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Price point is a little high so bring your credit cards. Staff is very nice. The food looked good, but was missing that WOW Factor for me. Plenty of Asian Patrons.

2021-11-16I was going to H Noodle House off RT 107. But they closes on Monday. I found this place instead. What a good find. I ordered Kun Pao Chicken Lunch. Port Belly noodle and Chinese Hamburger. All very good. The Kun Pao Chicken was only $8.95 and it came with Hot and Sour soup plus white rice. Great food. Great Prices.

2019-05-11Not the typical Long Island Chinese restaurant! Very authentic, and if you like spicy food this is the spot for you. Its a great mix of northern and southern cuisine. The cold pot was delicious; nothing cold about it though, in temperature or spice :)
