Service is always sporadic/untimely. no way of knowing when/if the train is running until youve paid the fare and have taken 3 flights of stairs down

Fifth Avenue/53rd Street is a station on the IND Queens Boulevard Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and 53rd Street in Manhattan, it is served by the E train at all times and the M train weekdays except late nights.Fifth Avenue/53rd Street was opened in 1933 as part of the Independent Subway System (IND)s Queens Boulevard Line. It contains two side platforms on separate levels: southbound trains to Lower Manhattan use the upper level, while northbound trains to Queens use the lower level.

Compare to the fare, NYC metro in general needs improvement by extremely a lot. Please stop think to hike the fare but do your job to offer clean affordable comfortable transit environment for New Yorkers

Clean and convenient subway station with easy access to everything in a very rich and clean neighborhood.

Beware, there is no elevator at this very deep station, only an insanely long escalator. Why is there no elevator?? If you need to carry up a stroller, there are at least five flights of very steep stairs to climb.

This station is within walking distance of Central Park and is a good connection point to go to/from LGA.Quite deep station.

If there were a no stars option, this place is most deserving of it. Nasty and rude MTA agent (badge # 15637) working at this station. This jerk is racist and disgusting and creeps like him will always contradict New York Citys motto as the most diverse city in the world. How could Governor Cuomo say NYC is racist free place and racism is not tolerated in NYC and yet have this person employed as a City worker? Contradiction, hypocrisy and lies at its finest. Pure disgust.

5 Ave/53 street is situated in the Midtown area of Mannhatan. The station is served by the E train at all times and the M during Weekdays. The station was also and is sometimes used by the F trains. The station is wide and feels open, it is also nearby the Sony Technology Museum and is a one stop ride to the B and D.
