Always enjoy our dinners at 99 Brick Oven. Their pizzas are made with the highest quality ingredients and cooked in a traditional brick oven (I believe from Italy). Pizzas on the thin side which I prefer. Delicious and consistent quality. Plenty for two people (one pizza).Theit fillet is amazing and their burgers are equally fantastic. Roast beef sandwiches are tasty, but are sometimes more on the medium to well side (but still juicy and tender).Happy hour drink and food options at the bar. Patio is now year round. Attentive staff. Cool spot!
We enjoy supporting our local businesses, especially when the food and atmosphere is Nice!We enjoyed a late Saturday lunch on the patio with my 1st Summer Shandy while the others loved their Watermelon Sangria. We shared wings and the others all enjoyed the haddock while I had the schnitzel. Well be back to try some more of the fairly extensive menu!!
Went for dinner with a group of 6 of us. Friday 11/19 the food was excellent. A few of us didn’t realize we had to scan the barcode for the full menu instead of just bringing us a paper menu she told us to scan the QR code... apparently it was too much to ask for the paper menu. We had to beg for refills on drinks( our drinks were easy beer and rum and coke) she forgot one of the refills and by the time she remembered the ice was melted. We asked to sit on the covered patio after dinner for a drink and she told us to go and ask ourselves... the girls that were bussing the tables were more attentive and pleasant than Our waitress was. She brought our check never asked if we wanted to split it, we asked the buss girls to ask her to split the check and she did but before she did she came back up and asked us if we really wanted it split. To which we all replied yes. Again food was really good. But the waitress wasn’t the most pleasant and I know everyone is short but we didn’t ask for anything that was over the top nor were we expecting anything over the top. We would all go there again hopefully it will be a better experience.
Food, Service, Owners all amazing!Priced well, take-out is quick and always correct. Sit down was great except took forever for our entrees. We sat on the patio and service was dragging. They took a reservation us over the phone ahead of time it was awesome because we had out of town guests and 2 kids.We might be addicted to take out there.
Was there for the first time in about 4 years for lunch. Had the 99 Brick salad. Outstanding.. quality cooked chicken and plenty of it. Portobello mushrooms and roasted red peppers and feta cheese. Might have missed a few ingredients but it rocked. Companion had beef on wick with decent sized and good tasting fries. No complaints from him.. Waitress was accommodating but a smile would have more welcoming. Nadine and Dave have weathered the covid pandemic and are even better. The place is a winner.
We moved to Lancaster not too long ago and found 99 Brick Oven. It is an absolute GEM! The steak sandwich is one of the best in buffalo. The pizzas are the bomb— thin, crispy— so good. The service is also top notch. I have never had a bad meal at 99. Im so glad restaurants are reopen and we can enjoy excellent food and service!!! Also the burgers are great. All around 10/10.
Overall, I was disappointed. Ordered the seared scallops and they were not like any seared scallops Ive had. They had a flour coating that didnt sear properly and only one side was done. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and stiff. The best part of the entree was the grilled asparagus. On a positive note, the french onion soup was excellent. Probably the best Ive had. The waitress was great but the manager argued a bit about whether or not the scallops should have the flour coating. She, or the chef, should watch Hells Kitchen and learn how to make them.
The food was mostly good however the mashed potatoes were lukewarm, flavorless and had lumps of what felt like undercooked potatoes it it. The portobello sandwich was delicious however it was served on narrow baguette bread which made it impossible to eat. Everything just kept falling off and was a mess. The sangria cost $9 and was a large glass but it tasted like wine and sprite mixed with chunks of strawberry or mint that kept blocking the straw. Not technically sangria nor was it worth $9.The outdoor patio is really nice. Unfortunately, you cannot reserve tables outside. There is an extra section added in the back but there is no roofing over it and it is near the dumpsters. On a warm day the smell is quite ripe.Parking is also limited.
Went in for Sunday brunch today, the food was amazing and love that the price included a nice size bloody mary! I had the French toast and the candied pecans were great! Excellent value for the money and great service. Nice to sit on their toasty patio in the middle of winter. Ill be back for sure!
Wow what a pleasant surprise. Great stuffed jalapeño poppers and the hand made to order pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had. Healthy portions of wine in our glass and the waitress was terrific. Definitely going back or at least getting a carry out pizza. Downside was the limited parking and only one size pizza, otherwise would have given 5 stars
Mostly great. Food is really good including burgers and fish-fry. Fast friendly service. Nice people, nice place. Why 4 stars not 5? Fix the price of the pasta on the kids menu please. Its a small bowl of pasta which isnt made on site for $7, plus $2 for a meatball or sausage. LOL kids can get a nice burger or other better things for less! Since the meat is extra, drop the price for this small bowl of pasta. I politely said something to the waitress, I didnt ask for anything, she didnt do anything... Well be back, but wont be ordering the kids pasta
Great pizza! Had the lamb with goat cheese and mushrooms. Service was fast - actually too fast. Had a drink, crock of soup and the pizza all within 30 minutes. I would have liked to enjoy my date and the evening more. They probably would have got another drink from me too!
The entire staff was very kind and welcoming. The waitress was kind and attentive. 3 of the 5 people at my table ordered brick oven pizza and they did not disappoint. I personally tried each one and was impressed. The pizzas are pretty large too, 12 inches, 6 medium slices. If you come very hungry you will leave satisfied. The portions for the dinner dishes are generous and the attention to detail on the dishes was evident. Great, cozy place to eat and good variety on the menu.
Saturday night is take out night for us. Thier brick oven pizzas and Parmigian wings are awesome. We called upon arrival and our food was brought right out to us within a few minutes. Once we got home 10min away. Our food was hot and super delicious. Thank you for making it through Governor king Coumos non science based closers.
99 Brick Oven Bar & Grille has a fabulous menu and my Beef on Weck was most tender. A great portion of beef on a very satisfying Weck roll. Juicy, tasty and filling. A side of French Fries and a cup of horseradish. Our server spoke clearly through her mask and made it enjoyable to be her quests. The pricing matched the offerings, no short cuts here. A look around the restaurant showed the place is clean and organized. Roomy dining area and a completely stocked bar. I highly recommend a visit to 99 Brick Oven Bar and Grille. Enjoy!
I was surprised by what a cute place this is. I live in the area, but have never made it here. Very impressed! We got the Sausage and Mushroom Pizza and the Vegetarian Pizza, both were delicious! We also got a side of fries, they were some of the best I have ever had! Service was friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend 99 Brick Oven!!
I had never been here before and it was so good! The ingredients were super fresh and flavorful. I tried the stuffed banana pepper pizza and it was delicious! My husband had a burger and it was easily a half pound, cooked exactly the way he ordered it. We will be going back for sure!
Went here for restaurant week and was not dissapointed. Their food is delicious. They have thee best stuffed mushrooms Ive ever eaten. The portions of their entrees are large so you will have leftovers to enjoy later. Pizza is good too. When we went it was packed and so hot inside. I dont know if it was from all the bodies or from the brick oven.
I ordered the Haddock Parmesan. The fish was dry, bland, no seasoning, tasteless. The fish had a few tomatoe slices and some parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs placed over it. I was dissappointed.. it came with mixed veggies, broccoli, zucchini, etc.. veggies were just mush and again flavorless, no seasoning. Also ordered the stuffed mushrooms with sausage spinach and goat cheese, couldnt even taste any goat cheese at all. Ordered Caesar salad, it was ok. A pile of lettuce with dressing and a few croutons, no fresh cheese.. a little boring. The only good part of this dinner was the sweet potatoe fries. Thats about it. PLEASE ADD FLAVOR TO YOUR FOOD
Lunch with old friends from the days when OUR kids were in little league. Sat o/side on their patio and what a lovely place. Have been there before but, only in the bar area. All 6 of us enjoyed our meals. The haddock sandwich special was the the best. Service was super even with the all the tables filled!
My husband and I have been here twice. Sarah the waitress is amazing! The food is good (and overpriced), but the atmosphere... If you are an interracial couple or person of color I would suggest you steer clear. The rest of the wait staff and the patrons made it very clear my husband and I were not welcome. The looks of disgust we received, as well as the way the staff tried to force us to finish and leave... It left us with a unsettling feeling to say the least.
This place has fantastic food and staff. Been coming here for 2 years now and never had a bad experience. However, at no fault of the establishment, while waiting for a table I over heard someone say that there was like 4 tables of people who have already eaten and were refusing to leave because the hockey game was on. People... Dont be ignorant, eat and move on.
My fiancé and I recently moved to the Village of Lancaster. So many people said great things about this place so we knew we had to try it. We went last night and needless to say, our friends were right! Lori was our waitress and she was amazing. Super friendly and welcoming. We ordered hot chicken fingers as a starter. They were great and it was nice that they came with fries too. We each ordered our own pizzas. My fiancé got the Buffalo Traditional with prosciutto and I got the Quattro Formaggio. We got them both with light garlic on the crust. Both pizzas were delicious!!! They were cooked perfectly. We cannot wait to come back to try different pizzas and other dishes. It’s great that we can literally walk to this place. See you again soon!
Food was ok...service was horrendous. 1 hr to get food she came back once to ask for refills and clear table. another 1/2 hour to get our check because she was showing another customer stuff on her phone. We go weekly to different resturants and give reviews. This is a definate thumbs down. If you have hours to waste this is your place. Do not recommend👎👎
Nice menu-great food. We both had the pork schnitzel dinner which came with a lovely lemon- sage-butter sauce , seasonal veggies( yellow and green summer squash, green beans, red onion and broccoli) and German potato salad as well as choice of soup or salad. Warm bread with herb oil or butter. Great portion sizes.
LONG REVIEW:99 Brick Oven is our favorite restaurant and we probably get takeout or go there 2-3 times a month. Tonight for the FIRST time we had an issue with our food. I texted the owner not to be that customer to just complain, but wanted to let them know so they keep an extra eye on future orders and because we appreciate their awesome business, they are local and the customer service and food is always top notch. She was SOOO appreciative that we contacted her and kept asking how they can show their appreciation. She sent someone from the restaurant to drop off a $25 gift card 15 minutes after I talked to her. And said a business should want that feedback. We appreciate you! I never doubted they would acknowledge the issue with our order. I just wanted a thank you for telling us! I cant wait until they can open back up and we can sit down and relax with some drinks on their patio. If you ever get the chance please support them. They are doing curbside pickup and FREE delivery if you live close enough! Right now they have a dinner for 4 special with salad, garlic bread, pasta and cannolis for only $50. PLEASE SUPPORT 99 BRICK OVEN. They are the true meaning of a GREAT business that deserves to be around. Some of our favorite things are the wings, brick oven pizza and fish. They also have awesome drinks!
I NEED to come back to this place. Was looking for a place to eat in the Village of Lancaster, we are not from around there. I found 99 Brick Oven on google maps and decided to give it a try. As soon as we pulled in, the parking lot and adjacent road was packed full of cars which is always a good sign, and you could see in the “outdoor” part of the restaurant was packed too. We ended up eating in there, which seemed like an addition on as the place was so packed. The atmosphere was amazing. The bar was bustling, it was warm with so many heaters, music playing, TVs going, and people chattering but warm and cozy without feeling closterphobic. I’m a picky person and usually only have one thing per menu that I get but had so many option on this one. Ended up splitting an amazing pizza with my dad with a side of stuffed mushrooms plus a sangria and piece of peanut butter pie. ALL the food/drinks were bursting with flavor and the bill only came to $42. Will definitely be driving down to Lancaster just to try more food from there again.
Great food. Best eats and bar experience in Lancaster, NY.Owners and staff are exceptional.Layout is chunky - space is separated well, allowing for varied experiences at the same location.Again, the food is awesome. Brick oven and bakery and most all the nice bonuses you hope to find in a hidden gem. 99 Salad with a protein is my staple and wont disappoint.
This place was awesome! Love the brick oven margarita pizza. I got the gluten free version. My husband got a long island ice tea and I got a Blue Toad Tea Hard Cider on draft! Wow!! On Friday and Saturday night from 9pm to 11pm, all of their pizza is half price. They also have burgers, steaks, salads, pasta dishes, and offer a wide variety of gluten free versions! Do yourself a favor, try 99 Brick Oven!! They are awesome.
Weve been there twice in the past month and had a great experience both times. We were greeted graciously by the owner at the front desk and then again promptly by the bartender. We decided to eat at the bar and split our choices of steamed clams, salad and a brick oven pizza from daily specials. All were super. We went on a busy Saturday night for our next visit, were greeted and served equally as graciously as our foray visit- we waited less than the 20 minutes quoted for a table and were accommodated promptly and our sausage and goat cheese pizza was delicious. Brick Oven 99 also offers a nice selectionof local craft beers on tap at reasonable prices. This is our new go to spot.
Good tasting food, however the charges for extras like cheese on your cheeseburger, mushrooms, etc. is a little outrageous. I ordered plain pasta for my ten-month-old. I did not order any sauce or meat, all I wanted was plain pasta for her to pick on. The restaurant charged me $7. I thought that was a little steep seeing as she only ate like 7 noodles. Very dissatisfied with the amount I spent for dinner for my 10 month old and I.
Service was lovely at the peak of busy lunchtime during restaurant week.Food was OK but not OMG Ive never had something this yummy before! Side salad was iceberg and 2 cherry tomatoes with a single spinach leaf on top. Margarita pizza had great texture.. just the right balance of flop and crunch.Only real negative was a repulsive odor/scent that was all-present, surprisingly worse in the closed-in outdoor patio. Gas? Fish? Whatever it was, we were thankful it was masked by our foodz once it arrived.
Nice local bar / pub. Good food,I had the pork schnitzel w a honey mustard horseradish sauce...mmmm good!! Full portions for sure, you wont leave hungry .staff was very friendly and accommodating to my 90 YO mom.beer selection was o.k.,a few more local brews would b nice.didnt have room for dessert so cant help you on that one.prices are affordable. 3rd time there and we will b back again.
Food was good, a bit over priced. I ordered a margarita pizza for pick up. Waitress was very helpful and friendly. Bartender made me wait for 14 minutes to pay and pick up my food. It was pizza and i was able to see that my pizza was already out of the oven when I arrived. I finally received my order which was cold by this time from the friendly waitress.
I’m all for supporting local hometown businesses during the pandemic. .....The scheduled pickup time was on time. Girl delivered it to my vehicle, she was pleasant. Unfortunately, when I got the 2 fish frys home they were SATURATED with grease, the sweet potato fries were skimped and DRENCHED with grease. They shorted me a honey sauce for the fries. Fish fry was soooo terrible that my wife and I only took a few bites of fish and had a few fries and then threw it ALL OUT! I expected much of a better dinner for $17.25 per dinner. Plus I gave the girl $10 tip. Terrible!!!! They could have just served me a gallon of oil from the fryer! I can’t believe how my hometown ALWAYS lets me down. I’m only giving 1 star because I can’t give a ZERO. Next time I want to waste $50 bux, I’ll drive down Aurora Street and throw a 50 bill out the window. Hopefully that will make somebody’s day.
Food was good, but they put our party of 10 near the bar, where it was too loud and too hot, and I felt crowded. Since the reservation was made in advance, and was made for a table away from the bar, that was disappointing. Food was good, and servers were pleasant. Parking was terrible. Not enough room for all the cars coming in.
TL:DR average food. Too expensive. The food was alright. I feel like its a little expensive for food that was only ok. Beers were good though. I had the steak sandwich with mushrooms and carmalized onions. Was good, I guess. I ordered rare it was cooked correctly but was tough. Also had the ravioli appetizer, pasta was cooked well but braised beef and cheese filling was tasteless.
The evening was great, but came to an abrupt halt when an employee approached our table and asked us to leave our seats and sit at the bar. We looked around us, confused. There was no one waiting to be seated and there was an open table right next to us. We had only been there for an hour and twenty minutes. How uncomfortable and rude. Not happy about this. A poor way to treat your customers. Will not be going back.
With a Warm an Inviting Atmosphere and a more than curteous and friendly staff from Top to Bottom you will not be disappointed. The food is awesome and the Brick Oven Pizza subpurb. My personal favorite the Stuffed Hot Pepper ... I add pepperoni. There are more than 99 reasons to stop in and indulge. Start with those and youll probably find 99 more.
Take out order. No parking, had to walk several blocks for take out. Your think they would have a couple spots accommodate customers that order and pick up. Waited 20 additional minutes when told food would be ready in 25 minutes. Food is subpar. Garlic bread with cheese is basically a sub roll with cheese melted on it in the brick oven...just the outer edge of the roll was even slightly toasted. Potato salad with one meal was awful. Potatoes under cooked and crunched when bitten into. The pork schnitzel entree was very dry and very hard to cut let alone eat. Pasta entree was barely enough to feed a child and was an adult order. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the Rosettes were fairly good and the chicken fingers as well. Will never visit, order, or patronize this restaurant again.
Will not return. Went for dinner on patio, hostess and young ladies serving all wore masks, disinfecting. The older server (Not ours thankfully) had her mask dangling from one ear... going to her patrons table talking, etc. Never put it on. A male worker came from inside to patio, no mask, walking around talking. We watched 3 couples allowed to enter patio with no masks.
My husband and I went to 99 Brick Oven for drinks and dinner last night. We arrived in time for happy hour at the bar, which has a cozy feeling. We wished they would have had more than 2 craft beer offerings, but it was no big deal. We sat down at a table for dinner and ordered a ceasar salad and stuffed hot pepper pizza (we added sausage to the pizza) to split. The salad came out in two bowls, already split, which we really appreciated. The ceasar dressing was homemade and very tasty. We enjoyed the pizza also, however there seemed to only be 6 or 8 small pieces of stuffed hot pepper on our 12 inch pizza. Overall, the pizza had a good flavor and we were very glad we added sausage to it. We will return, thanks for a good meal!
There isnt anything on the menu that you wont enjoy. Every bite is a delicious entanglement of flavors that release your mind from the delusion that all food is the same. They do carry a variy of local breweries and your brand name brews. If you can try and get a patio table during the summer months, maybe its me but I like it outside.
Unexpected gem. These people take the food seriously. This is not mass produced corporate eating. Been on the road for hours and took a chance, and the steak is delicious, and the wild mushroom risotto made with local ingredients. And not outrageously priced either. Delicious meal from some very accomplished chefs.
Great place to wine & dine, one of the greatest restarants around. The service is one of a kind, great staff & the owners are top notch. All food is great, but the pizzas that come out of that brick oven are incredable, freshest Ive tasted in a long time. This place is comfortable, spacious and very clean,we have a great time there.

2021-09-16Great place to try the signature wood fired pizza, it’s the real deal. We also tried the rosettes which were interesting and delicious. The place can get quite packed during dinner so there may be a long wait.

2021-07-24My daughter and I wanted to try a new place to have dinner. The food service was excellent. The server did a great job, she was busy but made sure everyone was taken care of. She explained what the specials were, she also told us about the food. It was a great to go get something different. I recommend going there for a dinner!

2022-05-28Went tonight for dinner around 430pm, and it was before the dinner rush. You could either eat outside under a covered area, or inside like we did. The bar has a nice ambiance, as well as the dining area. Our waitress Amanda was a great waitress. Checked on us at the right times and made it a good experience. By the time we left, a lot of people were showing up. So your best bet for a nice quieter time might be a little earlier. The only thing that wasnt great were the parmigian wings we ordered. Theyre expensive, and small. All in all would recommend to check out. Well be back again at some point.

2022-05-10A good neighborhood restaurant and bar. Our meatball paninis were great. They were crisp on the outside and filled with sliced meatballs that were covered in melted mozerella. I really like that the meatballs were slice to make it easier to eat. There is a heated covered, partially enclosed patio, a dining room and the. An upper level with the bar and a few tables. It was nice to have the split levels; it made it easier to have a conversation. There is a back parking lot just enter driveway on the patio side.

2021-02-25Stuffed banana pepper pizza with garlic crust definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a very long time that wasn’t your standard cheese and pepperoni. It’s a great place with the brick oven pizza that I highly recommend

2020-09-25Love the outdoor set up they have, very cozy. The staff was friendly. Our food was ok. My chocolate martini wasnt great, way to much chocolate syrup, and was extremely weak containing very little alcohol for what they charged. I wouldnt recommend the martinis. Loved the Caesar salad, the penne pasta with meatballs wasnt bad. The meatball itself was the best part, very flavorful but the sauce was bland, and some of the noodles were a bit crunchy. However Ill return, and have to try some of the things my friends have recommended, like the pizza which looked delicious.

2017-08-14Were very accommodating for our large party! The wings were great! Pizza crust was a little burnt and the waitress didnt provide any refills on drinks, but otherwise great restaurant!

2022-01-10Choose to check out this location as I was looking for Beef on Weck. Had not been in western NY in too many years. The Google map menu was much lower than the actual menu. The food was excellent! The beef was tender and delicious. The roll was soft (probably home made) and well salted with kimmelweck. Service was excellent for a surprise party of 9!Will visit again when in the area.

2022-01-19I love the pizza here. I dont know how they make their dough, but it is fantastic! I mean, I am sure they have other great foods, I just wouldnt know. I have only ever gotten pizza here, and even though I get different ones, I doubt Ill have the need or want to try anything else.
