Service was slow, I had to ask for a high chair twice. My 2nd drink from the bar didnt come till we were leaving but thankfully the waitress took it off without any prompt from me.
Service here is always top notch. It never matters which server I get. On my last visit the manager came out to the outdoor seating to see if we needed anything else. They were kind to my daughter and helpful in choosing our menu options. My only suggestion for outdoor seating is 10th options instead of umbrellas for a restaurant of this caliber.
Ever since they took down there really nice decor I really dont like the place anymore. It looks very sterile and generic. It looked 1,000 times better the way it was.

This place is pretty pedestrian. Nothing that special. I could tell there was a layer of dust on a hanging lamp & when I wiped my finger down the side there was a huge smear where the dust had been. Pretty gross actually.I had a strawberry & lemon mock-tail, which was really good. However, nothing special to report here.
Food was good and service was good. The bartender put up with a group of my coworkers. We had a good time , and didnt have to drive anywhere , since we were staying at the attached hotel.
The food was the worst we have ever had and no one in our party of five finished their meal but service was good. It has gone onto our brown list and one more bad meal there it gets black balled as thus is not the first time for bad tasting food we have had there.
Excellent meal with great mozzarella fried patties as an appetizer. Then, I had the limited time Baked Scallops Entree and it was amazing. Very tasty.

Weve eaten here a couple times now. We love that they have a great selection of gluten free options on the menu and are willing to take extra care to ensure those options remain free from cross contamination. Great food and huge portions- you can get two meals out of your order if you want.
The only problem I had was cold side dishes. My sweet potato crusted fish was amazing. The service was amazing.
Service was a little slow. But the food was good. Apps came in a timely manner. Chicken bacon ranch was awesome. Mozzarella sticks were really good. They also offer a military discount too, which is great.
Brought Grandma out to a birthday dinner wont be returning to this establishment it wasnt just waitresses fault kitchen staff and management needs serious help. Brought us out cold food, over a half an hour waiting for refills on drinks didnt see our waitress for over a half an hour, we were a party of nine and they had one waitress handle hole table. Brought us out burnt food. Ask for plates with the starter sampler brought us out four plates, covered in water not even dried. It is a shame I used to enjoy this place.

Waited an hour for chicken parm to go. I was apart of a group of 10 so I was like yeah takes time but then I got it and it was fried chicken and mashed potatoes with a biscuit?? The 1 star is because on top of that one of the servers was rude for no reason.
Tonight we dined at the 99 and had THE BEST WAITER. Mike was amazing. He spent time with us making sure everything was perfect. Even tolerated a fussy 4 year old and made sure everything was to her liking. He was one of the best waiters Ive ever had.
Great meal. Seafood chowder was great, as were stuffed scallops and burgers.

Had the steak tips and chicken fingers combo. Cooked perfectly and the seasoning was delicious. Everyone was so polite, all the staff still wearing their masks which I highly appreciated. This place has very good food. I had seafood and lobster. The tables were very clean. Waitress wanted a bug tip and she shook her off to get it. Ill definitely go back. Theirs lots of singles here and they are ready to mingle. It gets really busy when the men are in there. I will go back and have the buttered buns they taste great.

I ate here with my family and my wife had a bad experience with one of the hostess in the front that seat you. After getting seated we had to wait for my wifes mother to come in to sit with my girls. The front hostess told my wifes mother that my wife was a very rude customer. She didnt know that she was talking to my wifes mother. My wife said 2 simple things to her that she just couldnt compute. Gave us a stank attitude and had another girl take us to our seat. Besides our waiter whos name is Christopher was really nice and respectable. The manager did come over and had a chat with us but didnt quit understand what my wife was talking about. Still he was nice as well. My mudslide tasted like vodka and water down Kahlua. Wasnt good at all. Overall experience was not good. This didnt happened only once. I believe we wont be back and I know they wouldnt care because were just a dime a dozen.

Very unhappy with our dining experience. Server was not friendly and seemed to be bothered to do his job. Dinner salad was mostly browning lettuce and cost 4.79$. Was charged for a 3 course upgrade but not offered the dessert I was charged for. Fortunately I pay attention to the menu and the bill. Server was rather rude when questioned.

This local chain had good food was is pricey. The manager made it obvious that we were an inconvenience with bigger people who need to sit at a table and a person in a wheel chair. He said he could only give us a table because he didnt have people in the booths around the table. His wait staff was better. The ramp to the restaurant was blocked by the landscaper putting in flowers leading to the door, this is a safety hazard.
Booths are a weird size with with narrow tables. Service is slow as it gets. Be prepared to bail.

Decided to go here for our weekly night out to eat. Absolutely fantastic curbside service. We placed the order while in town and parked in a curbside space to wait understanding that we would have to wait and they had our food out in half the expected time.Food is absolutely amazing as well. Well cooked and great flavors and good portions! I regret not getting dessert or a drink to go haha.

We return to this restaurant because of the menu choices and the friendly staff. The popcorn that is served as you wait for your meal is a feature that our family enjoys. The variety of items on the gluten sensitive page on the regular menu is much appreciated. The staff works well as a team and the bathrooms always seem clean. We know we can count on a good family meal at an affordable price.
Waiter was excellent! Food was good but not exceptional. Need to add seasoning to the chicken parmesan. The sauce was very good but too much penne pasta.. Steak was chewy but cooked perfectly.

Very different from what I remember. Noise level has abated and service is quite attentive. The menu is a varied offering of snacks, soups and sandwiches, and entrees. I had a combo dinner selection of steak, scallops and mashed potatoes. Delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection and the absolute best Ive eaten locally. A truly tasty treat!

Classic prime rib/baked potato/veg was spot on and more than enough. Broccoli cheddar soup was rich and creamy without being overpowered by either. Very impressed all around. Service, food, & atmosphere were all fantastic. To say well be frequenting here more often would be an understatement.

Food was great. We sat at the bar and thought wed be told about bar food specials but the two male bartenders were more interested in talking to each other than paying customers! If we go again well wait in line for a table and be the center of attention from the server and leave an appropriate tip for good service.

Best place hands down! The food is always good! Wait staff is super pleasant! Dont have to wait super long for your food to come out (and it comes out hot too). Prices are decent! (Alcoholic beverages are pricey. But I dont usually get get alcohol with my food) Wait time to get a table really depends on if theres a holiday, the time of the day, etc. I think the longest my Boyfriend and I waited for a table was 20 mins and that was on Valentines Day! Oh and make sure to try the bubble tea! Its amazing!
Wonderful food and service! We ordered 3 meals during our stay in Plattsburgh. The prime rib, steaks and seafood were all delicious and that included the buttered lobster roll. The bartender (Morgan) was great and he knows how to make an adult beverage. Highly recommended and we will be back.
First time going to 99 in Plattsburgh today.. the food was ready quick, and delicious! The bartender was so friendly and wonderful! And I recommend the mango iced tea because it was BOMB! 🥰🥰 definitely going again soon!
We had a great meal and our waiter was Jim the bartender. He is awesome makes the best strawberry lemonaide. We enjoy having him as our server, very on the ball. He is one of the reasons we go there and the food is good.
We had the best time here tonight. A great end to a great shopping day in the area. We were seated immediately even though it was very busy, the food was cooked to perfection, and our waitress Angela was absolutely outstanding. Super attentive, friendly, and she seemed to genuinely care about us having a good experience. We will definitely visit this location again. Great job Plattsburgh 99 team!
The food was not good. I ordered fish tacos with cilantro rice. The rice was not tender and tasted like carrots. The fish tacos were okay but were no where near what that should have been for the price. Honestly, it was disappointing. My husband ordered a steak and scallops, he could not eat the scallops. He said he had to add steak sauce to his steak to have flavor.
Not only was Jeremy was absolutely AMAZING! The food was great too. They waited for me to cut into my steak before I ate, when the steak wasnt quite right, they made another one. And again, they waited for me to cut into my steak again. This time it was perfect! The food was great and the service to match.
Food has been better in the past. Tried something different... Will stick to my old standbys next time. Soup was cold and had to ask for it to be heated. I wont hold this experience against the restaurant. Ive always enjoyed going to the 99. Service was great as usual. Kind, smiling server and clean environment.

I come here with my girl and we always fear treated great as a couple no flurty waitresses or improper behaviours from any on who ever is manager of this place is doing great . We love going to 99 the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. Our waiter was Jeremy and he is always very personable and friendly. He does his job well and checks back on you several times during your meal. Hes always got a smile and a story to tell makes us feel like were at home with family. If youre hungry the food is excellent the prices are right the waiters and waitresses are Pleasant and efficient and the atmosphere is comfortable. Bon appetit!!!
First time ever at this restaurant, and both my husband and I ordered steaks. His wasnt to his satisfaction, so they took it back and cooked it to his liking. Our server had no problem taking care of us and the food was great. Wish there were more of this restaurant in the lower half of the country!!

Food Ok. A little disappointed. Got the steak and scallops combo. Steak was a thin cut so my medium was more on the well done side. And the scallops.... can scallops be gritty? Mine were and dont think they were the freshest. What was once one of our go to places to eat it has changed and not quite as good as it used to be.
99 is one of my favorite places to eat, ever. Its always clean and the staff is always polite and charming. If you get the chance, eat at the bars - the best deals, and some of the best crew (even though I dont discriminate against the rest of their kitchen and wait staff.) Theyre part of the hotel which is just another cap on how good they are. 5 star food service!
Very disappointing. My burger was cold and pink (medium well?) Upon leaving, my husband and I both stated the place was filthy. Age old dirt in back of the seats. First and last visit to this chain. Our server was very pleasant though.
This is probably one of the best reviews I have ever made. Marley and Alana are the best servers I have ever met in a long time. These gals they work theyre asses off and the food is Superb. I never waited in the 5 days I was here more than 10 min for my food. I never write good reviews just because. I am so impressed with this place. Steak was over cooked and dry. We were not asked if we wanted bone in or boneless for our 2 apps trays. Received a vegetable side instead of house salad that was ordered. Overall we havent been here in years because the food lacked in quality and service lacked in accuracy. We decided to try again for holiday dinner but we were overall disappointed.
Burger was lacking that special something.Flavor comes to mind. Very little.The evening we were there was ruined by the very LOUD FOUL MOUTH from the kitchen !Will NOT be returning. Not good all the way around! NOT RECOMMEND!! Dont waste your time and monies!

Always a great deal with these guys. The fish and chips is my go to. Its nicely fried up and the crust is flakey yet that fried feel you up feeling is still there in a clean good way too. Reasonably priced and they have gluten free and sensitive options too. Even a gluten free sorghum beer on bottle available. Wine selection is decent as well. Sometimes the staff is a little overwhelmed at times but they always will try and go the extra mile for you.
Always a good bet , a few decent vegetarian/vegan options too.

Went in by taxi, didnt have a vehicle to wait in. They got us in quick so werent waitimg in the lobby with a 4 year old. Had Jeremy for a server and hes one of the best, highly recommend.💕

Great drinks! However as we were visiting with friends it got strange with waitress; she was more concerned with picking up the credit card receipt than empty/dirty plate. And the trade off for sides is strange, like they dont know how to have open minds in regards to eclectic innocuous eating habits....
The food I ordered was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and took the time to point out some things in the area since we were camping nearby. The service was great and the environment was an accepting one.
Usually enjoy their meals but their burgers are way to greasy for my taste. Bottom bun soaked, and grease dripping as you attempt to eat the, now falling apart, cheeseburger with LTO. Invest in at least 90% lean burgers, I wont order a new one.
Excellent burgers. Had a hankering for a burger. Coleslaw not creamy. Asked for sauce on side but kitchen didnt read. Manager and server did come by to apologize and make right but not a worry. Overall pleasant dining experience away from the noise bar area.
Always great service and food! Our families only complaint would be the digital menu. The last thing we want to do out to dinner, is use our phone to read the menu.
99 is one of those chain restaurants that you underestimate. other chains can be disappointing or mediocre at times. 99 has definitely put in some work to revamp itself and it shows. I had the short rib pot pie and my girlfriend had the prime rib. Both of our meals were excellent. the prime rib was gigantic. we also had margaritas and the new tater tots as an appetizer. The toys are addicting and delicious. I highly recommend them. This is the second time I have eaten there since the revamp and have been pleasantly surprised both times. 99 is a damned good stop in plattsburgh.
Let me start by saying that our server was great, friendly and vey responsive. The restaurant was slow so we were seated right away and had drinks within 5 min. We had the boneless buffalo chicken and they were very good. Our meals were the Apple Bbq ribs and the Lemeon Rosemary Balsamic Chicken. The Ribs were very tender but way to sweet. Fries were plain but with Sea Salt much better. The Chicken was over grilled and burnt taste. I added lemon to chicken and it was still not very good. Overall not a great trip and now remember why we have not returned in a year.

Steakhouses are steakhouses, usually, but this place is a step above.A fun place with a sharp and attentive staff, and a menu that will make longtime steakhouse regulars sit up and take notice --- and those new to such places reasonably happy. Maybe even delighted. And yes, they serve other things than beef. Look up their menu online to see.Good prices too, and an excellent dessert menu. Cozy space, simple décor.Try it sometime.
I’ve normally had an excellent time at 99’s but this time it was horrible the waitress never gave us her name and totally ignored my friend. We ordered the nachos and asked for no onions and no jalapeños. She said alright then came back and told us we had to have the onions. Then when the nachos were delivered the jalapeños were on it I immediately looked to my sister like what if we were allergic. So we ignored that but I’m pretty sure she thought we were going to dine and ditch as she was talking to the hosts and pointing at us very noticeably. I get it we’re younger then most guest but that not a reason to assume we’d not pay for our meal. At this point it was very awkward so we just wanted the check we waited for 15 minutes before the waitress even stopped at our table. She took my debit card and didn’t even bring a black check book to put it in she was walking around serving other people and holding my credit card the whole time!!! I’ve never had this happen before I hope it gets better because the service today was awful!!!!

Great night with friends. Welcomed by name by familiar staff. Husband had prime rib. I had chicke pot pie. Both done perfectly and were delicious. Only negative was draft Budweiser. It has never been good at 99. If drinking regular Bud, go with the bottle.
Pretty standard restaurant chain, but I will say if you put Applebees and 99 in front of me and say Choose I will pick 99 100% of the time. Great tasting food. I am a big fan of the Lobster Rolls and Turkey Tips. Never have a bad waitress, but they are not all made the same. Great environment. Clean facilities.

Ate there 2 nites in a row and unfortunately got the same bartender who was the SLOWEST and it wasn’t even busy. They said the prime rib was the best in town and since it was on special, I ordered. Cooked too much, tough and tasteless. I would recommend Butcher Block!
They have a terrible choice of steaks ... basically sirloin and nothing else, so I ordered a T-Bone which was one of the only non-sirloin choices. It was one of the toughest pieces of meat Ive ever had. Absolutely terrible. It was cooked reasonably close to med-rare as ordered (a little overdone), so it wasnt because it was overcooked, but because the quality of the steak itself was horrible. Dont know where they source their beef, but the quality is bottom of the barrel. The overall cleanliness of the place was not the best. The server seemed rushed and a little short, but was reasonably pleasant. Still ... never going back based on the food quality.

Hello, we are patrons of 99 in plattsburgh ny. I look forward to a great meal and a few white russians. Well today we drove the 30 minutes to get there and saw nothing saying that there was a limited drink menu. Cant serve white russians. I look forward to this. We are patrons here very often, i dont know what it matters, we are not happy.

Would be better rating if waiter, Travis, didnt screw up the bill, then didnt fix it because it was too much trouble. I would tip more too if I got right charges to pay for. Draught beer was flat. Wont be back there for sure.
Had T Bone steak, it was ok but not very flavorful. Waitress was very friendly. It was just an ok visit.
On vacation decided to try 99 restaurant as it was close to our hotel, the food was excellent, reasonable price great cocktails and excellent waitress ,very clean
Had called in advance to see if they were open Christmas Eve and they said yes. We arrived and they said they were closing in 15 minutes. My family had suffered great loss the past year losing my father and grandmother within 3 months time. We werent up to having a large gathering at home. I had travelled 2 hours to meet my family at 99 in Saratoga Springs/Wilton. The manager on duty, seemed very new in my opinion, did nothing to help. By time we had all arrived we had 10 minutes to order and eat. He made no attempt to help us. He said first, when my brother had arrived that he had said there were four, he didnt know that my daughter and other brother and sister in law were able to come. He said then it was eight. By then I had had enough. We were trying to make the most of our first Christmas without my father and grandmother. We had to drive to Clifton Park to Olive Garden where we were treated beautifully. That added another 1/2 hour to my drive and I still had a 2 1/2 hour drive back home Christmas Eve. So I do not recommend 99 at the Saratoga location.

Terrible menu now. Zero pasta dishes. If you don’t like burgers, seafood, or overpriced steak you’re shot out of luck.

We had a terrible meal today. My mother ordered nachos and they didnt have any toppings. I ordered the roast beef sandwich and the bread was so soggy and fries were not cooked i ordered a half order potatoe skins and they were cold. Overall terrible expierence. I advised waiter and he brought out another order of fries that were again uncooked and soggy. And he charged me for everything i didnt eat and then went to wendys and got food that was actually edible.
Terrible service. The bartender with beard and tattoos is racists. I sat down at bar waiting 10 minutes after he left at me twice without saying anything. Once a white couple walks up he instantly speak to them and ask them for there order like I wasn’t there I immediately walked out.
Five star for this 99. Maple Bourbon Steak. 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋. Ask for Jeremy. Always friendly, always service with a huge smile. Save room for the chocolate chip cookie baked fresh in small cast iron pan with scoop of vanilla ice cream.

If You Have Medical Dietary Need Dont Go Here Because Even If They Have What You Could Eat With Your Meal They Will Not Help A Customer. Waitress Wont Help Me With It. My Husband and I Have Spent A Lot Over The Years And That Is The Thanks We Get. I Had Baritastic Surgery And Cant Eat Potatoes Or Rice Right Now So I Asked For A Small Salad Because The Hot Vegetables They Had Or Applesauce I Cant Eat Either. So Sad Just A Small Little Salad With My Grilled Porkchop They Couldnt Let Me. So My Husband And I Left And Wont Go Back.

Terrible service. Bartender treats you like nothing. He makes you sit there for a while before taking your order. I sat down 10 minutes and he never acknowledged me and soon as white couple walks in he immediately takes there order.
Over-priced but decent enough food. This was not our favorite place to eat as the bill was high enough to eat at a better establishment. Still, the food was decent enough and waitstaff attentive.I would not return as their are too many other choices, but I would not tell anyone to avoid eating here.

My steak was not cooked to my liking they not ONLY gave me a whole new meal with my steak cooked properly the way I asked but they also deducted the meal from my bill! Other than my steak not being cooked to my liking place was amazing! Great service, decent prices.

A great place for families with children. Prices are fair for the large portions that you get. My was delivered correctly and the temperature of the food was perfect.
The meal service was great. The highlight was the waitress catching me to give my nurse that I had completely forgotten. That was service way above anyones kindness.

We saw one time when we were there that they offered bar food, so we decided to sit at the bar tonight for the bar food, cause we didnt really want a big meal. It was never offered. Do we need to ask for it? Also we felt the bartender had an attitude.
Prime rib excellent, Chicken parmesan excellent, but nothing compares to the service. Our waitress was Mary. She is beyond great. Every place in the world needs a Mary. Thanks crazy lady. LOL.

2022-06-23I ordered the southwest black bean burger and was FLOORED by how good it was. Would most definitely order again. I cant remember our servers name but he was perfect. (Didnt hover and got everything right, super polite to my 6 year old.) I dont normally go to chain restaurants but this will be the exception. Awesome job, guys.

The begining of the meal was a little rocky, however the initial problems were quickly rectified and a manager came out and told us our appetizer sampler would be free for our trouble. My wifes chicken dinner was so tender you could cut it with a fork. My sons surf and turf combo was great and so big he couldnt finish it. My chicken tender and turkey tip combo was excellent, the turkey tips were very tender and juicy. We had an excellent meal and our server Jeremy was awesome. Thanks for a great afternoon meal and great customer service.

2022-03-01It wasnt overwhelming but at the same time it wasnt underwhelming because the food was fantastic it was just smaller quantities of what I wanted. I expected a big plate And outcame the small steak that tasted Fatty and Honestly I just didnt prefer the steak but my boyfriend ordered a Burger and it was the juiciest Burger ever it was dripping with juice. Appetizers were spot on. The salad kind of threw me for a loop because I ordered Italian for my sauce an expected Italian But instead I got creamy Italian? Ive never heard of that before on a salad. But overall nice experience the waitress was super friendly.

2022-06-03Went to have dinner with the family after a baseball game, the place was packed but Chris took care of us. He was on the ball the entire dinner and made the expierence truly enjoyable. He had very specific orders and was always had a eye open for anything we were missing. I would return again. Solid dining expierence.

2022-07-05Satisfactory food minus the multiple hairs in my sisters sandwich. One sandwich is disturbing but when it is remade and you look up to see a man with a long beard and no hair net and you look down at your new sandwich and see a hair dangle out it’s a bit much. My uncle vomited due to the hairs in the sandwiches.
