Rich and John are the best , if you need any reptile they have it or they will find it . Rich has able to find the perfect gecko for my son. The knowledge of the reptile is top notch .THANK YOU -RICH
These people are so amazing! They are so nice and the reptiles are well taken care of! They have snakes, fish, axoltols, frilled dragons, bearded dragons, spiders, and food for all the reptiles! They have geckos as well
Super helpful, I bought an axolotl, they have so far been super great, the two men where extremely helpful and I hope to come back soon.
This store is an absolute gem. Richie and his staff John are extremely knowledgeable and took the time to educate and have fun with us. My 10-year old daughter was dead set to get a leopard gecko but after speaking with Richie, settled on a crested gecko as it is better suited to our lifestyle. There are reptiles that are NFS (not for sale), because they are Richie’s personal collection or are used for breeding. Richie and his staff are so passionate and I am happy to be able to support a small business.
Great shop, owner and employees have a lot of knowledge. Gave me plenty information and tips, left the store with a baby red bearded dragon and a whole lot of confidence from the help the owner and employee gave me. Great reptile store highly recommend!! Tons of Lizards & Freshwater fish!
Very friendly service in a mom and pop shop. Not many tropical fish stores around and this was a nice little store that had alot of stuff. Will definitly be shopping here again.
Go and check out my brother Rich in the westchester county area for all of your reptile and aquatic needs, he is the best around and the staff is wonderful.
Got referred here by our fish tank guy, Aquariums by Anthony (also recommend), and could not have been more pleased. The owner, Richie, is extremely nice and knows his reptiles and fish. We are novice fish owners and Richie was able to help us find exactly what we were looking for and what would play nice with the fish we already have. He also can special order fish he isnt keeping in stock. He is a gecko breeder and clearly has a passion for what he does, even though we were not there for his reptiles he was happy to show us and educate us, we learned a lot and might consider geckos in our future. Well definitely be back, hes now our fish supply guy. Plus the place is clean and doesnt smell like many pet/aquarium stores!

This place is awesome. EJ was super nice and helpful. I drove over an hour and it was so worth it. Some super cool geckos and lizards. Plenty of fish. All the supplies. I just went to check it out and I’m glad I did. Place is clean and the reptiles all look healthy. Definitely going back.
A&R Reptiles and Aquariums have everything you need for your reptiles and fish. If they don’t have it they can get it. Richie sells quality reptiles and fish, definitely worth my travels.

2022-06-25I recently acquired a fish tank from a friend who was moving away. I have absolutely no experience with fish, but thought it would be a fun hobby for my toddler. We are loving our fish tank, and this fish shop is a huge reason why, I can’t speak highly enough about the crew at A&R! They have been so helpful and patient with teaching me how to care for my tank. When we sadly lost a fish, they worked with me to test the alkaline levels of my tank and taught me how to do a water change so I could get back on track. They obviously care so much about their animals and their customers.BUT, the best part about A&R is how absolutely wonderful they are when I come in with my daughter. My two year old is obsessed with the fish, and they completely indulge her curiosities. They let her touch the snakes, they let her watch as they feed the lizards, they show her beetles and turtles and all sorts of amazing things. It’s always an adventure when we visit. I wish I could buy a new fish every week just so we could visit and support this business! We might end up with a full aquarium before we know it!

2022-02-06Absolutely wonderful store, so glad this place opened. It easily has the best assortment of freshwater fish and reptiles in Westchester, all for really fair prices. They also carry a lot of the reptile/aquarium essentials, likes tanks, heaters, sand/rocks, lizard hammocks, food (live bugs, frozen fish food, etc) and more. Additionally, they also design premade terrariums where you can buy one all set up and ready to go. Which admittedly I usually love building my own, but I know for some that can be an intimidating prospect, so being able to buy one set up straight from them is really handy. Definitely recommend giving this place a visit.

2022-04-09Awesome place! Small store, but packed with everything you need. I have purchased a bunch of awesome fish there. If they dont have it. They can get it! Very knowledgeable staff. Great service. I highly recommend this place for any of your aquarium and reptile needs.

2022-05-13The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! They were able to bring in some freshwater fish I was specifically looking for which was really above & beyond. My fish are healthy and beautiful and doing great in my tanks so far. Its clear that they really care about the animals and that their welfare is the #1 priority. Will definitely be going back to A&R for my supplies and animals.

2022-01-14I cannot express how appreciative I am to have found this store! I have been searching high and low for an adult bearded dragon and the few that I have came across in other stores were in horrible conditions. After taking a look around it was almost immediately apparent that folks at A&R know what they are doing and take excellent care of their animals. E.J. was possibly the kindest and most knowledgable person I have ever met in the reptile hobby. I live a good hour away in Connecticut but after the experience i had today, I plan to make weekly trips for their home-bread gut-loaded feeders. Thanks so much!

2021-08-16Got my 1st ever baby red bearded dragon here! Richie the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and will happily answer any questions u may have! You can really feel this man’s passion and enthusiasm for his animals! I bought a Zilla Basic Starter Kit Tank and baby crickets and baby Dubia roaches as well. I am super satisfied with all my purchases! The owner just opened this past June so if u live in Westchester, definitely bring the entire family and come check out his beautiful collection of reptiles and aquarium fishes - and tell a friend! :)

2022-01-24Let me start out by saying I have a poodle, a cat & two 20 gallon aquarium tanks, Im literally in a pet supply/ aquarium store every other day & let me tell you , THIS IS THEE CLEANEST reptile & aquarium shop I have EVER been too in my LIFE, gorgeous tanks , everything looks healthy & taken care of! Rich the owner was so nice & down to earth & John his employee was so helpful , kind & professional, wonderful experience from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave , its like wow , nothing compares !

2022-05-21The staff was so helpful and patient. It was 40 min well spent and didnt even notice the time, great selection of exotics/supplies for a good price. Definitely stopping by every week for feeder. Got in love with cresties and leeches
