Jonah from AJ lawn sprinkler company came out to my house and did an awesome job. He raised my irrigation heads and explained everything thoroughly as well as helped set me up for winterizing the irrigation lines in fall. Awesome experience and I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for lawn irrigation set up and maintenance.
Prompt service, explained how my system worked as a new home owner. Would 100% recommend them.
Brian arrived at appointed time. Checked well pump to make sure it was on and had proper pressure. Cycled through the sprinkler zones and noted which heads needed to be repaired and if there were any leaks underground. Replaced damaged heads and cycled through sprinkler zones again to make sure they worked and were watering proper areas. Very nice guy , professional, very patient and as he worked he explained what he was doing.. Answered all my questions . Cost was $86 to come to house and based on time it took to do the job (2- 2 1/2 Hours) and replace 5 Sprinkler heads the bill came to around $354.00 I would definitely use this company again.
I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from A-J Lawn Sprinkler this afternoon letting me know that my repair could be done today. My original appointment was almost a month out. Brian was the technician. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He helped me understand my system. The price for the service was reasonable. I would recommend this company.
Did a good job on install. They were patient with changes I made before install. They Showed me how to use clock and adjust heads. They Came to do the job when they said they would.
I am a repeat customer of A-J Lawn Sprinkler and have always been pleased with their service. We installed an inground pool recently and the entire irrigation system needed to be re-installed. Everyone from Jesse to Glen and his whole crew were on-time and could not have been more professional and friendly. They are a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them.
A-J came to do the Spring opening yesterday. Brian the technician arrived on-time and was very courteous and professional. He made sure that the sprinkler heads were operating properly and adjusted the sprinklers where necessary. He made a fix in just minutes where I accidently buried a sprinkler head while trying to level my lawn. I recommend A-J and Brian very highly.
Over time tree roots squeeze one of my sprinkler heads. Two separate contractors attempted to repair it. Both failed.I called AJ Lawn Sprinkler Co. The owner visited to look at the problem. It was pouring rain, but he spent considerable time analyzing the situation and suggested a solution.Today his crew - John, Sean, and Gio - came and within a relatively short period of time they corrected the problem. John was the leader and he spent time describing to me what they would do, while the other two - Sean ad Gil went directly to work. I was impressed with how quickly they solved my problem. All three were respectful and polite. They tested not only the section of the system with the problem, but make sure to test and adjust the balance of the system. I truly appreciated their work and the professional way they interacted with me.
David came to turn on sprinkler system. He was professional and came within the timeframe we were given. He explained how the system works with ease and made the adjustments I asked him to due to some changes we made to our front lawn. Always a great experience & happy to be A-J’s customer.
We have been using AJ lawn sprinklers for years. They have been great to work with and very responsive. John, Nick, Gio showed up and did a great job getting our system up and running.
John, Sean, and Kaleb did a wonderful job repairing parts of my sprinkler system and installing a new zone. The new zone was very difficult to install because of a heavy root system, but they prevailed and did an amazing job!
I reached out to aj sprinkler to have a few sprinkler heads added to my current sytstem, the young lady took my info and gave me a date. When the time came to have the work done they didnt realize thats what i wanted so they had to send an estimator out ( waited 5 weeks for them to realize it ) the owner. ( jerry ) all the guy talked about was how much money he had what great properties he owned and what great vacations he takes...I didnt care much he was an old guy just looking for someone to talk to. He gave me a price apologized for the confusion( said girl who answers the phone doesnt know much ) and said i would be scheduled for the following week. Well when that week came they called and said i would have to wait because it wasnt a big enough job for them ( 650$ for 3 heads ..pretty steep ) for them to come out it would be double. Very unorganized business....the owner should go on vacation and stay there,im sure they would have less issue..never never use them !
Due to a contractor’s error, damage was done to our underground sprinkler system. Brian from A-J Lawn came to our house in no time to make the repairs to two lines and three sprinkler heads. He really went above and beyond to rectify the problem. Amazing service & much appreciated!
AJ Sprinklers completed a 16 head irrigation job at my house this week. Work was done in a day, minimal damage to my lawn. Inside plumbing was completed at a very professional level. Josh and his guys did a great job, would highly recommend!
Had an appointment with them to check out an old sprinkler system that I had not turned on since I bought my house 4 years ago. Brian the technician came out and quickly and efficiently figured out the problem.Extremely happy with the company and technician.

My rating is 0 stars.Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with AJ Sprinklers. I scheduled an opening of my system and coincidentally the AC adaptor was cut off. I could not believe it...one day it was there and then next gone. The service guy (Jonathan) then says I need an entire new unit instead of just replacing the AC adapter, I now had to pay $200 for a new sprinkler controller system. Then, he said there was something wrong with the outlet which would require another visit. On top of the $200 for the new unit, $160 for labor, I now had to pay an addition $160+ to have someone work on the outlet. I ended up paying for the service fee and declined the new unit. This is one of my rental properties, so I was not present at the time of service. I went to LOWEs and replaced the unit for $25 and it took me 10mins. No need for additional visits and the outlet worked just fine. I would not recommend AJ Sprinklers to anyone, but if you decide to work with this company, I suggest that you are present and keep a close eye on the service person. Good luck!
Update: The sprinklers are still pretty good after three years.===The install is pretty good after two years. The sprinkler plan and coverage are decent. Didnt have a need for a fix or anything due to bad install. Some detail could use some improvement, but pretty good overall.
They are reliable and professional. I have used them for more than 40 years at several different homes and have always been very satisfied with their work.
I pulled a botched electric wiring ( see picture ) from behind the insulation in the basement for the new sprinkler system which placed by A-J Lawn Sprinkler Co. Company replied , you should have read the contract more carefully, this what you get for asking for budget system, this is old wiring from the 20 year old system, you want free job, and it is low voltage wire, should be fine. Negotiating price is not asking for free work, not equal to cutting corners and doing botching the electric wires. If this low voltage wire, do it in your house not in your customer house
Since 2016, AJs policy for homeowners has been to run the homeowners credit card for AJs charges (with no paperwork) in the homeowners driveway at the conclusion of AJs work. Most recently, AJ charged my card and subsequently sent an invoice requesting more money. When I called and spoke with Jessica to request an details regarding the further charge, she offered none. Instead, she became argumentative and adopted a bitter and condescending tone of voice. Not engaging, I promised to send in the additional payment and give one of their competitors a try next time. Jerry and Josh should record calls for quality assurance, because my call with Jessica was of low quality.
Just had a new system installed. Right from the the beginning it was awesome. Jerry did an almost job making sure the system would operate off the well efficiently, with plenty of his own test equipment. Can’t say enough about John and the crew they did a great job. Can’t even tell they were here. Thanks again.
AJ got the job done right the first time! We had 4 broken heads and a punctured main line. AJ came and spent the time needed to fix all problems and get the system running 100%.
Sean was very professional, pleasant and a great worker. I would be happy to have him come every time in the future.
I use AJ to close my system every year. They charge a reasonable price and I havent had any issues with service. My lines open each spring and function as normal.

I have had multiple service issues they opened the system with water hitting windows when notified they charged me again to fix this and then I had a leak in system they came it wasn’t fixed wanted to charge again to fix

Ive been a loyal customer for a long time and referred them to friends and family, seems like since Jerry has retired the service has retired also. I have them come out here every year for the past 7 years at the beginning of the season for leaks in the line pretty much in the same area and they keep attributing to defective lines but they work fine during the summer but only crack in the winter after THEY winterize the system is it possible they do a lack luster job blowing out the lines and thats where the water backs up every time and freezes causing the line to crack even though the cracked line was line that was replaced by them the prior year....... So again this year cracks in the lines in the same areas and their tech cuts the wiring that work the valves while he was cutting the cracked line he spliced the wires together for the system which now has error message on the controller, fixed the leak and left a hole in the ground due to he didnt have the right parts to finish the job but assured the system would work properly and stated that I would need a new controller because most likely a solenoid went bad NOT caused from him cutting the wires in the water, coincidence hmmmm!!!!! I called them to complain that the system didnt work and explained again what had happed and ended to talking to the now owner Jesse Napolitano and pretty much made up so many lame excuses and I couldnt get a word in and stated if I wasnt happy with their service we should go separate ways, not offering to fix the problem like a professional he kept verbally attacking me. The end result is my sprinklers dont work, a hole in the ground with exposed wires and most likely I will need a new control box. Im sure I will be attacked just like all the other bad reviews that were written about them instead of offering a compromise or solution...Be aware

2022-06-14Brian the technician was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He had an impeccable work ethic. Arriving on time and calling me 15 minutes before arrival. He got right to work and consistently advised me on what he was doing. He got the job done expediently, was extremely courteous and just a very nice man. I will use AJs and request him personally if I am ever in need of sprinkler service in the future.

2022-04-15We have been so happy with our experience with A-J Lawn Sprinkler and have now used them in two homes. At our last home, A-J designed a terrific multi-zone system for our large yard that had both very dry areas and occasional standing water. The install was quick and the techs were all friendly and professional. They have also serviced an existing system in our new home and we plan to hire them to add irrigation to my vegetable garden. Great experience!

He found a problem with the main value which required him to get a part and return to my house. He returned as promised and fixed the problem. I enjoyed working with Juan. Hes excellent!

2022-05-21I have enjoyed great service from A-J for the past ten plus years.My recent request for service is a typical example of my experience with A-J’s. The service tech, Juan, quickly carried out the repair work. However, before he departed he suggested that we run through the entire system to ensure there were no other issues.Sure enough this precautionary extra step turned up a malfunctioning sprinkler head. Juan skillfully popped out the defective head and inserted the replacement in no time.This extra effort by Juan saved me the expense of another service call and avoided more time waiting for my system to be up and running.Thank you A-J!

2021-10-17Shawn came to my home to shut down my sprinkler system and prepare it for the winter months. He was very professional and pleasant to talk to. He is very knowledgable about the sprinkler system and was able to identify a problem that I was having without any hesitation. This technician is the best representative I have dealt with from AJ Sprinklers. I would highly recommend him to do any work related to sprinkler systems.

2021-10-12In some ways, the real test of a company is when things dont go quite as promised. This happened with my installation, and they addressed the issues in a manner that made it clear that their priority was making me happy. They ultimately did. Their prices were competitive, and they clearly work hard to deliver the level of service that they promise. Im glad I went with AJ.

2021-09-04I reached out to AJ’s mid summer to request a quote. About a week later Jerry came by and looked at our yard. Inspected the layout of our basement and was on his way. Quote received a few days later. I went to to their shop to check out the equipment and then decided to leave a deposit. About a month later a team of 5 showed up and finished the install in less than a full day. Extremely easy and nice people to work with. Very minimal damage to the yard even after a pretty heavy rain. Definitely recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

2021-07-19We had an old sprinkler system that hadnt been used for over 5 years and we werent sure what the problems were. We had two other sprinkler companies come out and want to replace the whole system and were scheduling out a ways on the calendar. A-J was one of the quickest to get in to diagnose and quoted us piece meal what they thought the issues were but also if more needed to be done if that wasnt the issue. It ended up being at least half the price of others. They did a great job, communicated every step of the way and we love our new wi-fi system and the ability to control the system from our phones!
