Normally dont review places, but I want to give compliments to this pizza shop. You pay what you would for a pizza or wings anywhere else, the difference is that everything is generously portioned, this is what makes this pizza place the best one in Cortland. Boneless wings are HUGE, pizza is pretty average pizza to me, but their toppings are more than I have seen at any pizza place. I love it. Keep up the great work!

Ordered two large pizzas and 20 each of BBQ boneless and medium boneless total over $70.00. I was disappointed the pizza had little flavor and was greasy, the wings were dry and chewy. Thiswas my first experience with this place and was excited to try it after all the good reviews. Hope other had a better experience then mine and it was a just a bad night.
Literally every pizza Ive had is cooked well and made with good ingredients, lacking one star ONLY because Ive had a few, especially with pepperoni or other meat toppings that is just excessively greasy, but its rare, nothing a paper towel cant solve, and my go-to, the plain pie, is ALWAYS excellent

The pizza was covered with toppings from the middle all the way to the outside edge, so different than some other places weve ordered from over the years. The wings were very tasty too! We will be ordering again!!!
We love this place! Pizza is amazing and wings actually have meat on them and choices of sauce never disappoint. I only gave 4 stars because of the counter person taking the order on the phone and when we picked it up, grumpy attitude and never a thank you. Please work on customer service!!! With all the pizza competition, this simple fix could make or break a business.

Cheese pizza was not good, salty and the cheese was a swirly mess of grease. Wings were mediocre at best, sitting in sauce but lacking flavor. My kids love pizza and opted for something else for dinner.

I enjoy that it is thin crust pizza. They are liberal with their toppings and have a terrific selection. Staff is friendly. Only reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars is lack of parking availability near the entrance and the pizza by the slice was a little too crispy for my liking.

Ordered a margarita pizza and they sent me a garlic pizza with tomatos and basil on it. I couldnt eat it and it was too late to call back to remedy the order. The next day I called and they agreed to kindly give me another. (I did have to tell them exactly how to make a margarita pizza over the phone though)GOT IT HOME AND IT WAS SERIOUSLY FIRE🔥Order this, but be specific! Ya might just get garlic! Haha!8.3!

Fantastic pizza! The pizzas are always incredibly fresh and generously topped. The fast service and free delivery is really wonderful. I wanted to leave a review because while this place has always been good, lately the pizzas have been even better. Get anything with their housemade Blue Moon bbq sauce or the honey bbq.

This is my first time Ive ever had a complaint about a pizza place. Just got a large chicken wing pizza, and 10 medium wings. Over 30$ for just that. It was the worst weve ever had, there was no sauce on the wings, and on the pizza all you can taste is blue cheese. We were having a small party, couldnt give it away to any body here. Everyone at our house, couldnt/wouldnt eat it. Called to see what they would do about it, the cashier answered, the only thing she could tell me is that they would try and do better next time. Needless to say there wont be a next time, and it was a waste of money and the 25 minutes we waited. #shouldhavegottendigiorno!!!
So besides New York Pizza in Moravia New York this place around Pizza is top-notch best pizza in town hands down cant beat it not going to touch it Little Italy in Homer close call but the staff there is out of their mind and the rude
The owner answered my delivery order and went out to buy eggs just so we could have a fresh breakfast pizza mid afternoon. Theyve also mastered the cheese to crust ratio. Highly reccomend ☝️👍
We ordered a white garlic pizza and a chicken wing pizza. The flavor on both was great. Amazing garlic and tangy, spicy buffalo. The complaint that I have is the breadiness of the crust. I prefer a thinner, more crisp crust.
Was in Cortland for field hockey club playoffs. Between games went here for a couple of slices. Nice flavor, thin crust but crisp not floppy, foldable, but didnt break. Nice amount of sauce and toppings.

I like the pizza and have been there 3 times but have never got good service, not so much as a thank you. Thats why I gave a 3 star rating I will try it one more time and that will be it if the counter person cant speak except to ask what I want

Only a rating for one dollar slices as that is all I have tried. This is by far the best dollar slice around. Its crispy, properly seasoned, and the ingredients are a cut above the norm.

2022-03-04Ordered our 1st pizza from A Round tonight. The crust was done perfectly but was so thin it was soggy and hard to pick up. My husbands wings were very large which is great compared to the pidgeon wings others serve. Pizza and wings were just ok, affordable and free delivery but we will stick to our two favorite pizza places from now on ~ just not for us.

2019-11-30We are staying at Hope Lake Lodge (at Greek Peak) and decided to stay in our first night after a day of traveling. When comparing reviews from the other three restaurants that deliver here A Round Pizza was a no-brainer. We ordered two medium pizzas and two Greek salads. As you can see from the pictures, they are very generous with toppings and their portions (both pizza and salad) are quite large! They didn’t have Greek dressing which I thought was odd, but I ended up using their Caesar which actually went well with my salad. There were huge chunks of feta and lettuce that had not been broken down which was more of a nuisance than anything. However, they used black olives over kalamata which technically isn’t a Greek salad. Also, the crust was a little dry. However, A Round Pizza was a pleasant treat after a long day and we would certainly order again the next time we stay at this resort. Oh, and for anyone staying here the minimum order for delivery is $50. When you compare prices at the resort restaurants this minimum is nothing and well worth it!

2019-10-12Have you ever had A Round Pizza?I was asked this question by my daughter and I immediately answered of course, not realizing she meant the pizza shop named A Round Pizza. Well Joe serves a great slice of pizza with a thinner crust, much like typical NYC slices. The right amount of sauce and great tasting toppings, including mozzarella thats not too oily, makes this a great spot to pick up an entire pie or try their daily specials (2 slices and drink $6.50).

2021-07-12Great pizza and awesome wings. I think they make their own blue cheese as well. Had a great time ordering here and the crust was just as good as the pizza. I got a soda too and it was cold and perfectly carbonated. Thanks for the great food!

2021-01-23This place was recommended by a friend and instead of the generic Dominos fare we opted for this. Placed an order for pickup as delivery was going to be an hour and pickup only 35 minutes. Knowing it was probably a busy night I didnt leave until the 35 minute mark and I live about 10 minutes away. When I got there they asked my name, which I gave and let them know I called it in for pickup. After moving to the side and after 2 minutes another person asked my name again and if Id been helped, busy night so I get it, too many people doing the same thing and not communicating. At this point they got my ticket and I paid. I waited another 10 minutes and my food was ready. This is when I made my mistake and didnt check the pizza before leaving. When I got home and opened the box my pizza was a swirl of grease and cheese. Pretty disappointed with the look and when I tried a piece it was so salty I couldnt finish my bite. My kids had a few bites but decided they would rather have tomato soup. Man was I glad I ordered wings too. Unfortunately, the wings mediocre at best with the barbecue sauce not sticking to them so it was more of a dip. That being said I will not come here again nor recommend it to anyone unless I really dont like them.
