Giving them one star is a lot. I called this morning at 8am to see if I could get an inspection because it expires in 2 days. The man on the phone told me to come in at 10am so I drove all the way from bensonhurst brooklyn to get my car inspected. When i arrive I ask the only guy standing near by and he proceeds to give me the nastiest attitude and raises his voice at me and tells me he’s not doing inspections and he’s the one who does them so i can’t speak to anyone else because he won’t do it. If i haden’s called in advance I would completely understand but i called and was told to come in at 10am. Would never recommend this place to ANYONE.

15th & 149th St Auto Care (15-04 149th St, Whitestone, NY 11357) responded to a AAA call to jump my car. They claimed that my battery could not be jumped and forced me to buy a new battery (for $175). They did not give me credit for the old battery. They also claimed that I needed a new alternator at a cost of $700 when I had already told them the reason the battery was drained was because of an electrical short in my sideview mirror motor. They nonetheless insisted that the alternator tested as not working and they did not want to guarantee the new battery without a new alternator. The next day when I took the car to my own mechanic he said I my alternator was working just fine. They are actively fleecing their customers.

Decent gas prices. Just reopen recently after months of renovations/ retrofit and now closed again. Sad cause there isnt too many gas stations in that area.

Waited an hour for an oil change and the person never showed up for work. I guess they dont need the business

Talk about captive audience. Sold me out of warranty battery. Of course one finds out the worse possible way.
