Making an appointment on line was very easy. The office is easy to find with good parking. The staff is professional and helpful. All the areas are neat, clean and comfortable. Be ready to pretty much sign away all your rights. There are no guarantees. Services are offered in 15 minute increments. So if you want to get the biggest bang for your buck, dont go for a 15 second treatment, like I did. I had a very prominent age spot removed. It has been 2 weeks and I am happy to say that it is barely visible now. I am hoping for even more fading.
I recently went to A&E to have cool sculpting done. During my initial consultation, all my questions were answered thoroughly. I went ahead and scheduled. The process itself is nearly painless, with no downtime at all, except for the time it takes for the service to be performed. I am really happy with the results so far, its hard to wait for the full 3 months to see the total results.I would highly recommend A&E, the people are very nice and more than good at what they do and the facilities are spotless. A++ in my book!!
This was my first time at A&E, but I had laser hair removal at a different business and it really hurst so I was nervous, but A&Es lasers didnt hurt at all, a little uncomfortable but worlds better than what I had experienced in the past! Also the staff is predominantly female which made me feel much more comfortable. They were kind and welcoming from the moment I check in! Alyssa was my technician and she made me feel at ease with her calming and professional demeanor. I have faith that the process will work for me this time because they all seem very knowledgeable, even down to explaining the science behind hair growth and their methods. Not to mention it is very affordable, and their occasional discounts made me add more services than I was anticipating because the deals were so great! I cannot wait to go back there for my next treatment!!!
I have been coming to A&E for almost 7 years for laser hair removal (awesome about pausing treatments for pregnancies!) The staff is always professional and polite. I highly recommend their services they provide.
I went here for cool sculpting and got great results. My love handles were my problem area. I work out 5-7 times a week, but the love handles would not go away. 30 days after my treatment I saw a big difference. The before and after pics really showed progress. I went back for a second treatment because the love handle area is really two spots, on the sides and on the back. The first treatment was more on the sides, the second was more on the back. After the second treatment I saw a big difference in my whole back profile.
I did laser hair removal with A&E. Lacy is amazing! She makes you feel so comfortable, is easy to talk to and very time efficient. My experience has been nothing but positive, and I love the results!

Immediately after signing up, I got right in for my first laser hair removal session and had two appointments booked before leaving. I can’t say enough great things about A&E SNY! I have been coming here for years and they have are always very accommodating, respectful, and professional. They go above and beyond to ensure your treatments are exactly what you are looking for. They even paused my treatment schedule, no questions asked, when I was working through some heath concerns.
So far I love this place. I’m about to go in for my 3rd appointment for tattoo removal. The woman who has been taking care of me every time is fun and keeps me distracted by joking around while I’m having my treatments. I can already see significant change in my tattoo removal process. Very happy and would recommend to anyone.

It is such a warm and friendly environment also very clean just so professional and accepting. I recommend anyone to come here for their hair removal needs, I have tired electrolysis and found it to be to slow and non effect ... but with laser hair removal treatment I see results every treatment it is truly worth every penny with the amount of time and confidence this has brought me. I just had my first appointment at A&E. My daughter and I had a very good experience and look forward to the next sessions. The staff was very accomodating and pleasant. They are a very busy place which says they have many satisfied customers who keep coming back or refer their friends and family. I am one of those customers and will be referring Joe and his staff at A&E to everyone I know.
Avoid this place and the owner!*edit*In response to A&E I want to make this very clear. I NEVER once said the request for a written quote was rude or unreasonable. Had you actually read the review you would’ve realized that. What I did find rude was the owner,Joe, and his condescending tone and how he handled our meeting this morning. Additionally it is certainly reasonable to have a quote in writing but today was the 3rd time over 4 weeks that I’ve given you the three quotes verbally but the FIRST time I’ve been asked to put it in writing. On top of that, I’m especially frustrated with not only the time I wasted this morning coming in when you could’ve told me this over the phone, but the time I’ve spent dealing with this issue because of your mistake. You can also see that no where did I state you wanted me to pay for it first. This response displays exactly the level of customer service you provide. Nit picking specific parts of my complaint to make it seem as I am at fault is childish and disrespectful to me, a current customer.I currently go there for Laser Hair Removal and last November one of the technicians hit my tattoo with the laser. Around the edge of the tattoo is all faded and doesn’t look right, not to mention how much it hurt when it happened.That was in Nov and they STILL haven’t done anything to fix it. I’ve called them multiple times and talked to them when I go in for my appts. They’ve asked for quotes I gave them 3 different quotes ($80-250) and told the woman who was manager Two times. She took pictures of the faded tattoo and had “talked to her boss” more than once. My appt to get the tattoo fixed is this coming Sunday and I asked last month if I was suppose to be paying for it upfront and be reimbursed or if they’d be cutting me a check. The manager told me she’d “talk to her boss and call me” it took me calling two additional times to hear from her. She had me set up an appt to come in so her boss could discuss it with me and see the damage(he already has pictures). After waiting 15 min, he came in and was beyond rude and demeaning, acting as if it was barely noticeable. He told me to get a written quote before Sunday and email it to them then they’d pay a “reasonable amount”. So I wasted MORE of my time coming in when they could’ve just told me that over the phone. The girls that work there are generally decent enough, but this old man should not be in a business of customer service. I DO NOT recommend going there!*Side note: I’ve been going to get laser hair Removal for 5+ years and still have to shave every couple days, it’s a sham! **
I recently had a Cool Sculpting treatment done on my arms at A&E and I am beyond satisfied with the results! The staff was very accommodating, and continued to follow up with me on my progress. The treatment was a breeze, and took no time at all. I would highly recommend A&E for a Cool Sculpting treatment!
I went to A & E last week for laser hair removal. The staff was all very pleasant and helpful. I was able to get my first treatment the same day as the consultation. It is still to early to see results as multiple treatments are needed. I would recommend A&E to my family and friends.
What a great experience having a laser hair removal consultation today! Staff are very knowledgeable and courteous. I regretfully had services rendered at this establishment. I had been referred by someone who had received hair removal treatments, and I had signed up for very expensive laser treatments in preparation for my wedding. I had high hopes that this was going to be my last resort for clear skin. I am currently in dispute with them to get a refund on the treatments I did not get. By the end, I didnt feel safe for them to use a laser on me.I felt the owner was unprofessional; one of his responses to me was one hand washes another. No sir, this is a business deal, not a friendship. Please do not be fooled by the lab coats and scrubs... the owner is not a medical doctor, nor would I be surprised if he is a licensed esthetician. No regimen was provided to me other than to apply bleaching cream 1 week prior to treatment. Due to my skin sensitivity, I should have been monitored and my laser levels should have been changed accordingly. After receiving 3 treatments, the owner saw me for the first time since my initial consultation and said, oh are you here for your first treatment? No, but Im glad that you can visibly see that the three treatments were not effective and appears like I have not been treated. They do not care if you see results, they just want your money. How this business went from a retailer of toupees to a surgery center is amazing. Yes, we get it, youve been in business for 45 years.
Love this place. I’m coming up on my 3rd year for laser hair removal and almost done. I’ve had cool sculpting and very happy with my results. The staff is wonderful I highly recommend going for any of your needs.
I had some brown sunspots on my forehead that really bothered me. I was set up for a laser treatment. I am so happy to get rid of those spots. I love the staff, they are friendly and helpful. Now I am getting the brown sunspots on my torso and back lasered. My experience has been wonderful. They know what they are doing, and a dermatologist or plastic surgeon would have been much much more expensive.I am extremely happy because it worked so well. They have many state of the art lasers that are found in large cities at much higher cost.Thank You A&E for a great result that exceeded my expectations.
Clean and I mean spotless everywhere. Super friendly staff from the first moment to my procedure. I could not be happier with a business than I am here.6/29/18Update after my 90 day coolsculpting treatment. Every set of pictures was done exactly the same except the final set. Different room, darker lighting, no adjustment to my pants to match the other pictures and no pause to relax the muscles. Did I get noticeable results? I really dont know. Im quite disappointed they I feel they hid the true result. Other than that I still love the place and the people.. I do believe cool sculpting works, just cant see it from the pictures.
Long-time (35-years) customer at A&E, from its humble beginnings at Shoppingtown Mall to its present home at Chimneys Plaza in Dewitt. The staff is invariably courteous and professional, taking care of my needs and treating me with respect. The company takes customer satisfaction seriously, and the few times things did go awry they went the extra mile to make thing right -- just as I had expected they would. I can recommend this business without hesitation.
I spent a ridiculous amount of money on cool sculpting, 2 sessions of it under my arms. I had to get ugly with the owner, just to see 2 comparison photos showing little to no difference as I thought a month after the second treatment. Here I am a few months later and it appears worse than prior to trying the cool sculpting and I weigh less. Be prepared to be pressured at the consultation as well as prepared to be sold anything just for the sale by the owner. Never again.Addition to my first comment.The response below is worthless. Why would would I do this again when I stated it made it worse? Pretty sad when you delete all negative comments from your facebook ads. I will repeat, never again.
I’ve been coming here for a few months and I appreciate how helpful the staff is when it comes FAQ or any other concerns I may have. They’re flexible with scheduling which helps me a lot since I don’t live nearby. I’m excited seeing the progressive results with my treatment and I can’t wait for the final look thanks to everyone at A & E!
CoolSculpting! Even with daily exercise, I was not seeing the results that I wanted regarding the excess fat under my arms. After a consultation, I decided to try the non-invasive procedure and my results surpassed my expectations. I went with three treatments. After the second treatment, I felt my upper arms looked significantly better, so I decided to have another treatment which provided an even better result.Over the years, I have had a variety of treatments/procedures at this facility and have been pleased with all of them. I find Joe and his staff to be extremely knowledgable, honest, and professional.
I went in to inquire about laser hair removal and the front desk staff was not overly pleasant. I spoke to an aesthetician as I had questions if the procedure would be appropriate with a medical condition I have. She said she would speak with one of their two physicians and call me back and I never heard from them. If that is how they treat a prospective customer I certainly am not going to trust them with my heathcare.
Would be zero stars except that some of the ladies that work there are very polite and professional. My wife bought a very expensive full body laser package for hair removal and as part of that package they threw in my ears as well (I hate hair growing in and around my ears). Good deal right? Not so much. It took several trips before the laser was strong enough to make much of a difference. In other words the hair just kept coming back or would not even fall out in the first place. Finally, we got the right setting dialed in and it seemed that certain hair follicles are no longer producing hair. Fast forward a few years and I get deployed for a year with the Army. When I came back, I asked for an extension on the service, since I lost a full year of time out of the contract. I am told that becuase it was a six year contract, it cannot be extended. I get it, its not their fault I was deployed and you always have to put money first when you run a business. But then the next day, after they tell me no, they spam me with an advertisement on purchasing a new program. So let me get this straight, you tell me that I cannot get an extension after being gone for a year and then the very next day, you try to make more money off of me? That is bad business and I found it rather insulting. I will go somewhere else on principal even if it costs more.
Awesome experience today. Got a great deal and felt very well taken care of. The staff is so friendly. Left with complimentary lunch from Panera and a Starbucks coffee. Highly recommend.
I went to A&E for a consultation for laser hair removal mostly because they have been in business for over 45 years and are well known in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff and how courteous they were. I will be coming back to A&E for the laser hair removal that they offer!
I LOVE THIS PLACE..Best kept secret around and thats the problem we have to get the word out LADIES and GENTS, They are soo nice, I was recommended by one of my customers and now I am passing it to you. Check it out the staff very nice, proffesional and very calm setting if your nervous like I was, I was in and out in 5 min. I am having tattoo removal at the moment and they offer so many other things that I was amazed with. I have a few more sessions then thinking what I want to do next...the price wasnt bad at all for what I wanted either but nothing is too much when you want to look good in your wedding dress.
Do NOT go here, Joe does not know anything about tattoo removal and cannot give any information on how many sessions one would need for a tattoo removal process.I set up a free consultation to get information on my tattoo and he could not give me an estimate on how many sessions I would need.Joe could only tell me about there programs and could only tell me how much each session would cost but not how many sessions. They want you to buy the programs ranged in various amounts of sessions, (12, 18, 22) etc. and want you to pay upfront thousands of dollars.Dont waste your time with this bum!

After some research into different options I decided to try it out and was very pleased with how easy it was to make an appointment and the flexibility of times available . I have been going to A & E for several years and have been happy with my results. Nursing staff does change but lately have had great results with Kirsten. Staff is always friendly and courteous.
I did some research on coolsculpting. I found A&E and figured I would go in for the free consult. After speaking with the staff, I knew I had to try it out. I didnt believe all the hype so I started with a smaller area that wasnt as expensive. I had one treatment done on my chin. After 2 weeks I had seen such great results, I had to go back in for a quote on my Abs and Flanks. I walked out with a 2nd treatment on my chin and one treatment on my abs and flanks. All I can say is that my chin feels and looks so much better. I am currently only 1 week in on my abs and flanks, but I can feel a difference in my shirts in the back. All in all I can say I am 100% satisified. Excellent product, excellent service!
Ive gone there in the past and while Ill say the care and treatment were great, the owner is someone who wants to take as much of your money as he can. Hes manipulative and unfair. Id solicit anywhere else just so he doesnt make the deal.
I had 1 of 3 treatments then Covid hit. I tried calling 6 times after they opened and nobody called me back. I finally received a call when I requested a refund and was told on June 26 that they started scheduling procedures again June 1 and when asked why nobody called me they said they have thousands of customers and can’t call everyone meanwhile these past three months I have paid on my bill without getting the procedures. Do not go there they are extremely rude and inconsiderate.
The technicians were great, but after many treatments, the hair on my upper and lower lips and chin never did go away. I feel like I wasted a lot of money. I also had hair removal treatments in my legs, and most of the hair has not come back. Its okay for a woman to have hair in her legs - it can always be shaved. But hair in a womans face is very embarrassing and makes me feel very self conscious.
They’re so kind and knowledgeable, and they always make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. I got coolsculpting and skin tightening so I’ve been with A&E for a few appointments and it’s always a great experience!

I had laser hair removal at a different place a few years ago and it did NOT work. But Ive only had two treatments at A and E and am already seeing results. What makes AE great are the people that work there. They make scheduling easy, and they know which laser to use for your skin type. If youre thinking of trying laser hair removal, just go to AE. Im happy that I did!
The staff is incredibly nice and it makes for a pleasant experience! The place is always clean. You do have a different person every time you go, so you may get a different answer to the same question across sessions. Overall, very friendly staff and good experience!
I dont even give them a 1 star!!! I went to 8 laser hair removal treatments with NO results!!! They said I would need a few more treatments for the hair to be removed... I called their bluff and took them to small claims court to get my money back! I won thank goodness!! $1300.00 later....Joe and a white hair gentleman were very unprofessional to deal with!!!
I went to A&E because I wanted treatments for acne and also a tattoo removed. The staff was very rude to me and the person who gave me a consultation told me that I couldnt get services because of my skin color. She also told me that she would try and help me out in regards to acne and clearing my skin and never called me like she said she would. Needless to say this was the worst experience of my life. I now go to another plastic surgeon to help me out with my cosmetic issues.
I got treated here a while ago and now having found better places I will tell you that these people are THIEVES and LIARS. They just want to take your money and will say whatever they need to to get you to charge your card. The techs are not experiences, they use low settings, they miss spots and once you have paid your money forget about anyone being nice to you or caring about the service you get. You get what you paid for here, and I wouldnt risk your body on a place that calls itself a surgery center and does not do any surgeries and has no physician (MD).

I am 56 years old, and have been a client for a number of years. Thanks to A&E, I look better now than I did ten years ago! After three profractional laser treatments, acne scarring (from my teen-age years) has been minimized to the point where it is hardly noticeable. That alone is miraculous. Juvederm injections (only once per year) have taken years off my face. Most recently, I tried Accent Your Body and after a few months I can see a noticeable difference. If you are looking for a spa atmosphere, then this is not the place for you. But if you want caring staff, flexibility in scheduling, reasonable prices, and most importantly noticeable results, then A&E is a great place to go!

Its worth the money if you start young and if you dont have gray/light hair. Everyone has been nice but there is a lot of turnover, which for modest people can be a problem since customers may have to bare private areas.

In my opinion, the best way to know if service or treatment is right for you is to purchase a Groupon coupon to sample treatments at any place that sells packages or, ask for one treatment before signing any contracts.

Joe was REALLY rude and it was only for free consulting. First, the man is standing outside, holds the door open for the white woman. Once he saw me coming, ooooh no, walks right inside. THEN in the consultation room, treats me like a ignorant BLACK person. At least the girl at the desk with the fake smile was nice...

I have been going to A & E for tattoo removal now for over a year. The cost of my procedure I feel is competitive to other places (the lowest compared to other places around), the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and you cant beat their hours! The process is extremely painful, but they are very good about getting me in with minimal wait and meeting my needs during the process. Anyone who has a tattoo they regret should look into A&E!!

I have only had one laser hair removal session and it was ok. I am hoping for good results. I had to haggle for better prices.
A bit expensive but the staff is usually pretty friendly, if I see someone who doesn’t generally feel like they care I tend to not see them around for long. It seems like management is attentive to customer needs

2022-08-09Do not recommend , spent so much money and they promised that most of your hair will be gone , my bikini and underarm area are still hairy and I still shave every week, and we you are done with your treatments they just ask you to pay more to add more sessions paid over $5000 , save your money and go somewhere else that doesn’t take over 3 years to do treatments and still hair left ,

2021-03-31Amazing employees who show they care, financial plans offered and they were able to work with me with finances so well. Each experience I have they note everything so when I go back I don’t have to reexplain everything about myself and how I get treated when I get different women treating me. Complimentary services were offered and I have no negative things to say about this place. I drive an hour just for their services and it’s so worth it.

2019-09-07A&E is always so amazing when I come in for my laser hair removal appointment. They are super nice and always make me feel so comfortable. I’ve never felt uncomfortable or rushed. They always are quick to take me back for my treatment when I arrive. Everyone is so nice and my progress is going great!!!

2014-06-19I wanted to share with everyone the phenomenal experience my friends and I have had coming to A & E! It was an unexpected surprise from a dear friend and her daughter. We have been coming every 6 weeks for laser treatment since Fall.What I love is the service--the girls who work there are becoming quick friends. You are treated like a queen and offered excellent advice for maximizing the services offered. I drive a distance and there are times that I run late or am lost...a quick call to A & E and they have me coming the correct way and happily adjust the time. I have never waited for service either. The surroundings are pleasant, comfortable, clean, and very professional. I highly recommend A & E!!!!!

2016-10-12I can only say that all my visits to A+E have been a joy! I come with my daughter and best friend as we travel from about 45 minutes and we are always greeted warmly by the very professional staff. Our wait times are minimal and they have been wonderful enough to get us in early when something has come up in our own schedule that we need to get back home for. The treatments themselves are quick and painless. All the staff is friendly and helpful; they answer any questions I have and offer advice. Its been nearly a year of visits and the results are great. I tell all my friends this is one of the best things I have ever done for myself!!

2021-06-12This is a bait and switch company. They are also highly unprofessional, the “doctor” (manager?) started talking to me about my treatment with the door to the lobby wide open. Do not trust advertised prices. Do not do business with them unless you’re desperate.

2014-04-04I signed up for laser hair removal about a year ago, after having consultations with many other establishments in the area. The results over this time have been excellent with minimal to no pain. Professional, polite and very helpful Staff--even had to hold my hand the first time due to my fear of pain. The procedure was comfortable and I was put at ease. They also not only matched my written estimate from another local office, but beat it by just over 10%!! I love their offices and the fact that they are many years established with the same staff. I will be in a wedding in June and am presently considering some of the other services they offer. Would highly recommend A&E!

2019-10-18I have been going to A & E for a couple of years now and have been very pleased with the services and care that they provide. Lacey in particular is very knowledgeable and beyond helpful! She always makes me feel at ease during appointments. I am very pleased with my results and highly recommend their laser hair removal!

2021-04-27I loved, loved, loved A&E SNY center!!! No more!!! New owner..tells me hair loss is NOT permanet. There is no guarantee of hair removal being permanent....He knows lasers....Basically would not continue my treatments, wanted more money. Ive spent thousands there.. I have recommended many people.....clients beware....I went for a laser appt. Today....instead I was taken to a back room and told....we need more money....I also heard the owner tell a staff member....to get what you can in money from her today....hes a scammer!!!!!!!

2019-10-16I have been going to A&E surgery center for almost 3 years now and it has been a pleasant experience. They have been very accommodating. Only downfall is there seems to be a new laser hair removal technician at every appointment. I’ve tried requesting the same tech. for my appointments and it’s rarely honored. They have said there is high staff turnover.
