Probably the best customer service experience i have ever had. They continue to amaze me! My messages are answered promptly and returns are handled well (and quickly as well). I even had a fitting issue that they helped me with, no charge nothing. Just good people. They carry all the parts for my bike that I could want. Shipping is quick and fair in pricing. Can’t go wrong with these guys
Brian at A&J has has been awesome answering questions, shipping parts in a timely manner and finally tuning my Scrambler 1200. It’s hard to find a shop with great customer service, aftermarket parts and a wealth of knowledge like Brian has. Every bike I throw in the garage will get the A&J love. Customer for life!
Ive ordered parts for my Triumph several times from A&J. Excellent website - I can always find exactly what I need and whether or not it will fit my specific model year. Prices match every other supplier as far as I can tell, feels great to give my dollars to a small business rather than a large chain.5 stars, will come again!
Having order now many add-ons for my 2020 Triumph Speedmaster this company is spot on. I can only speak for their online ordering service but Ive been so impressed with the service provided. In stock parts are shipped practically the same day. Back order parts seem to hit exactly when they say and are shipped immediately. One time I order a part twice by mistake and sent a note. It was refunded super fast with no questions asked. I wish I lived close to these guys to patronage their business on my bike on site. Not sure how anyone could not give these guys or girls (sorry I should have said earlier) a 5 star rating. The best service on parts Ive ever had. Thank you A&J.
This shop is great, their website is easy to use and parts are always labeled properly. What I order is what I get. Furthermore, parts / gear are always shipped promptly. I’ve ordered everything from shocks and electrical parts to gloves and keychains from them and I’ve never been disappointed.Additionally, their customer service is even better. I was planning a airbox delete on my Thruxton R when life hit me hard financially. I felt bad for making the rep waste time helping me plan the project out after it fell through but they extremely understanding.
BEST source for Triumph parts and information PERIOD! Brian was gracious enough to spend a lengthy period of time on the phone helping me with parts and technical information about my Thruxton build. He even emailed me additional technical information when I requested! ...if lived local I would do service work with this shop just based on Brians knowledge and passion for bikes! I will do business now and in the future with A&J and would hope that you will support this shop as well!
Brian and the whole staff are absolute experts on everything I have ever asked for my bike. More than willing to help and answer questions on things I didnt even buy directly through the business. Work done is top notch and prices are more than competitive. Just a bunch of good people doing what they love.
Just had work done on my 2017 Triumph T120 at A&J Cycles. Dealing with Brian via phone and email was top notch, whenever I had a question I got a prompt response(and I had a lot of questions lol). The bike was picked up and dropped off by them and I am thrilled with how it turned out. I recommend you check out the website or send them an email for your modern classic service or customization.
Brian and crew at A&J Cycles are TOP NOTCH and truly honest and fair businessmen! Theyve modded my two Triumph motorcycles with either parts I brought to them and or some parts they can get for my bikes. They dont up charge and will actually let you know when you really dont need to spend extra money needlessly, and will divulge more cost effective ways to get your bike upgraded, etc. They do primo work! Brian is FAST with communications , always on top of emails and phone messages. Im impressed by such a busy guy!He even discounted some parts he ordered for me, especially since I had much work, and many parts to change and add to my two bikes. Very kind and considerate of Brian. You must see some of the custom work theyve done on some of the bikes there ! I HIGHLY recommend with full confidence, A&J Cycles! ;)
Have personally dealt with and sent a few friends over to Brian at A & J Cycles. Every time hes been more than caring and thoughtful with both me and my friends. Super knowledgeable and absolutely willing to help and support the community. From Suspension to custom builds A&J is a smart choice.
Ive bought a few parts from this shop for my Triumph Bonneville bobber. I feel their price are very reasonable and shipping has been quick and packaged goo .Furthermore I sent an email at 10 pm easter time to ask a question never expecting a response till the following day, but was happily surprised to receive a reply within 15 minutes. Thats great customer servic! They are the real deal.
Brian from AJ cycles is amazing. I was working on modding my Super73 Rx ebike. I wanted to add turn signals and I didnt want to void warranty so I decided to wire my own up to a 12v battery source. I purchased all of the items separately and was having issues with my LEDs working with the flasher relay. Decided to buy and support local and do not regret it one bit. The flasher relay shipped the next day and was here in a flash. After install I was having problems and wasnt sure if my wiring harness was correct. I sent Brian a couple of videos and he was super generous and helped me resolve my issues. AJ cycles communication is amazing, fast and super detailed. He even drew me a wiring diagram to make sure that I was connecting every thing properly! I will definitely be buying more of my Moto equipment from them and highly recommend AJ Cycles. It was my first time wiring up any thing like that and Brian helped make it a breeze!
If you own a modern Triumph, there is no better place than A&J cycles for your aftermarket and service needs. The owner, Brian, is an avid enthusiast himself and has built some of the coolest triumphs the community has seen. Can’t say enough about their amazing attention to detail, product knowledge, and customer service, along with some of the fastest shipping and turn around times I’ve ever seen! Thank you for the love on my Thruxton R A&J cycles, you’ve gained a customer for life.
Had some questions about exhaust for my bike. I submitted an online question and within minutes received an email response. I continued to drill Brian with questions and he was prompt and thorough with his answers via email. I purchased my product through A&J because of their prompt communication and military discount. No product yet but it’s custom made and I expected to wait.
This place ROCKS!My only go to for all my triumph needs from servicing to after market parts.Unlike the dealerships who charge a fortune for labor and have 0 customer service A&J is a friendly place with reasonable labor rates. Its obvious that they do this not only as a business but most inportantly because they truly LOVE what they do.Brian the owner is a stand up guy and his advice and knowledge is impressive.Have already recommended several of my friends here and they have all had the same great customer experience.
Not sure where to begin....First thing first let’s state the obvious, the place is not perfect as it is not open 7 days a week and we could all used some more Brian 😊Now, if you have never been to A&J Cycles it is not a big deal, it just means you do not love your bike 😆All jokes aside, this is by far my favorite place to go when I need something special done on my bike, don’t just take my word for it and give it a shot, you’ll never use another place. Not sure what you can or can’t do on your bike, just reach out to Brian, he’ll never refuse to help out and will answer your questions even if you do not order anything as he genuinely gets a kick out of helping people and customizing bikes. This is something he does for pleasure, stop by the garage and you’ll understand.Once again, tip of my hat to Brian and his crew (even the mosquitoes fearing ones), thank you again for everything you did to help.Cheers.
Brian took the time to really go over everything that I needed done on my triumph. You can tell these guys are passionate about what they do and they know what theyre doing. Thanks to them my bike feels great again! Absolutely worth the ride up from NYC also as theyre close to some great riding roads. All in all the best motorcycle shop Ive been to and they will continue to have my business.
Had a great buying experience with Brian and A&J Cycles. I bought a a quick shifter they put together and the products fit and finish was very nice and much better than stock. I had questions with the product and Brian addressed them all very professionally. Will be back soon to get more parts for the Thruxton R.
Had several superb experiences now at A&J, for both Triumph servicing and accessories. Prices were great, the guys were super friendly and knowledgable, work done was high quality and the advice given was very straightforward and honest. Best of all, the level of service was next level . It put my prior main-dealer servicing experience to shame! Im definitely converted. Highly recommended.
A&J Cycles is Awesome. A welcome addition to the Hudson Valley area. Brian, and his team really take the time to listen to all your motorcycle needs. Great service, a clean shop and professional all the way. A huge selection of aftermarket parts for your project...I recommend them to anybody looking for a shop that is honest and reliable. They specializes in the customization of modern and vintage Triumph, BMW, Ducati, Harley Davidson, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and other motorcycles. A five star review... I will only take my bike to A&J Cycles from now on. You need to check them out...Thanks guys.
I emailed Brian about installing an x-pipe and air filter on my street twin and even during this Covid madness he was able to set up an appointment and had my bike back to me quickly. Brian is real chill, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable about options for your Triumph so if you need upgrades this is the place to go.
Great prices, everything is always shipped quickly, and good communication. Itss obvious the proprietor really has a passion for what they do. they also have a much wider range of parts available than any vendor in the US that Ive run into for watercooled Triumph parts.
Great customer service!Brian was patient and offered his honest opinion on products that I was comparing. He could have sold me the most expensive options but understood that I didn’t need to spend a whole lot to get to the resulta I was looking for.Top notch products and a very happy customer.Highly recommend!
I decided to meet up with my buddy by Bear Mountain. He rides a Street Twin. He needed to get a few things done (namely front & rear pads along with sprocket/chain replacement for a more aggressive gearing for city riding), so he asked I meet him at A&J Cycles. I pulled up as they were finishing up his bike.I normally do not bring my bike (Kawasaki Ninja) to shops because Ive seen some of these kids that they hire. I see them using air tools to zip on axle castle nuts. That alone will encourage me to DIY most of my maintenance.I was a little hesitant as I entered the parking lot. All I saw were custom bikes and Triumphs in the lot and in the shop. I didnt know if they would be welcoming seeing that I just unmounted a bright green Ninja. Upon entering the shop, Brian greeted me. Made me feel comfortable from the get-go. I was able to go into the shop where my buddys Street Twin was on the lift. Brian and his crew were finishing up an oil change and tightening his rear axle/adjusting his chain slack while we chitchatted a bit.Let me tell you this....the amount of detail and care Brian puts into the bikes he works on is absolutely amazing. I see torque wrenches out. I see lube/grease out. I saw a tape measures out. Never ever trust the has marks on your swing arm when adjusting/aligning the rear wheel, right? I never do. I expect shops use the hash marks just because its 10x quicker. But not Brian. He used a tape measure to make sure both sides are equal lengths, down to the millimeter!!!After everything was all buttoned up, it was time for a quick 5 minute test ride. When the bike got back, the rear castle nut was loosened again, the chain was re-adjusted again (using the tape measure again) due to chain stretch on a brand new chain....and it was finally tightened to spec with a torque wrench. When I do my own maintenance on my bike, I follow the shop manual. No short cuts taken. When I see a shop doing the same, I want to bring the bike to that shop knowing it will be well taken care of. I have the highest confidence in Brian and his crew. Just watching them work for 30 minutes, I can tell the type of work ethics he and his team promote.Their labor rates is extremely fair. Much lower than a dealerships rate. However, if they charge just as much as a dealership or even more, I would NOT hesitate to spend a little more, just to get the peace of mind knowing that the work done was done right the first time. You know these guys arent doing this for the money (only opening shop twice a week). Theyre doing this because wrench and working on bikes is in their blood....their passion. Now, I want to grab a Street Triple knowing I have a shop I can trust. A&J Cycles is a hidden gem. If I can give more than 5 stars, I would. They deserve it!!!
These guys were fantastic. They promptly responded to my DM on insta and gave me a good date to visit, installed the xpipe on my speed twin quickly and for a reasonable rate, treated me like family and were accommodating to all my curiositys and questions and were just all around a pleasure to work with and have excellent work done on my triumph. If you want quality work done by good people for a resonable rate, these are your guys!! 🙌🏻😎🏍

2022-02-21Brian and his team have done an absolutely terrific job on my bike.I originally stopped by to get my speed twin forks upgraded and brought up the idea of what my ideal bike goal was to Brian. After a few back and forth conversations, they got started on my bike and the outcome was better than anything I could have expected. Brian and his team are extremely knowledgeable, very responsive and they have a great eye for details. They provided honest recommendations on each improvement on my list and offered a few ideas to tie the bike all together.Brian also worked with local shops for different jobs. Some of my bike was coated by TRG Coating and David from Slag Kustom did a fantastic job reshaping my side covers and painting other them as well as my gas tank and front mudgard. He additionally got the bike photographed by Antonio Carusone and the result is truly amazing. My bike came out amazing and I couldnt recommend Brian and his team more for anyone looking to get parts or get any work done on their bikes!

2022-03-25As a first time customer, I only knew of A&J Cycles by what I read online. Taking a chance placing an order internationally, I really appreciate the speed at which Brian responded to the questions I had, and the confirmation of when my order would be shipped out. The items that were shown online in stock were actually in stock, the storefront interface to UPS shipping was seamless, and I appreciated the personal touch informing me that my order was shipped. My order was well packed, and arrived on time. Thanks A & J, I will definitely be ordering from you again!

2022-06-03Excellent communication, advice, and workmanship performed. Brian went the extra mile in helping me secure the near obsolete parts needed for my modification. While communicating entirely through emails until my service appointment, Brian was extremely prompt, professional, and pleasant. I had full confidence during the entire transaction. Highly Recommend!! A+
