No way to contact them to resolve a major issue with my purchase. Phone lines out of service for all stores.
We bought the Cobble Hill Soho Sofa 4 months ago but the cushion has already sagged and we have to find a right spot to sit on otherwise it’s being really uncomfortable!!! Although I’ve sent an email and asked their help, no one returned so customer service is also bad!
One of the associates took me straight to the back where the cheap rugs were. Seems like he just assumed my black self couldnt afford it. Thanks a lot. Wont be back.
Expensive and some what disorganized.. Staff is friendly but things seen to be just placed randomly anywhere there is room with the exception of the carpets... Parking is pretty impossible but they offer a shuttle on weekends from industry city... So that is helpful but in my opinion not worth the wait or walk over.

This is my 9 year old sons favorite store. No joke. Its a nice place, but most of the best stuff is out of my range :)

A wonderfully overwhelming array of beautiful and unique, stylish home goods, furniture and rugs. But the guy at the front acted like hed never seen a stroller before, ever...
Great selection and what really sticks out is the helpful, kind, down to earth, very patient staff :).
$5,500 couches, $250 throw pillows. Beautiful stuff (see photos) but Ill stick to Craigslist and out of town antique stores.
The items in there were meh with a large price tag... however I grabbed a great cow hide rug..
Love the Manhattan location, but the Brooklyn location was underwhelming. Inventory and selection were eh. Prices disappointing for an outlet location
The worst very disappointed on inferior selection with outrageous pricing on furnishings with no justification for the bloated prices poor presentation on goods looks like a flea market

Much more relaxed location than the Manhattan store. But still pretty pricey.
Maybe its the fact that this is in industry city and not the main Manhattan store, but with a few exceptions, stuff was weird and way over priced.

2022-09-08Where to start? I cannot say enough about Aydan at ABC Home and her whole team. We purchased a Bushwick trundle sofa at the outlet in Industry City, and after two failed delivery attempts went to the store to speak with her about another possible sofa thatd better work for our space. Thats when Aydan became superhuman -- she voiced some doubt that the team wasnt able to get up the stairs to our place and insisted on coming back to our apartment with us, measuring it herself, and having her warehouse colleage Mousa meet us there too. Within 4 days the sofa arrived, in one piece, and is total perfection. She even had her colleague Carlos come to make sure everything was brushed and clean from the warehouse. Its not always the most budget friendly but you GET WHAT YOU PAY for. These people are A+ customer service people -- hard to find this kind of support with any big store. Consider us customers for life!

2018-07-21It is big in size but would have liked more variety. It was on final sale when I visited so the price qas fairly affordable but qould have enjoyed more selections of curtains. many designer items available so if youre looking for interior props made by designers, this can be a stop by spot for you.

2022-02-06DO NOT SHOP HERE. CONSIDER THIS A PSA. ABC WAS PURCHASED LAST FALL BY A NEW OWNER. WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE IVE HAD, EVER. I came to the store in Industry City today after not being able to get anyone on the phone for weeks. Ive been an ABC customer for 30 years. I explained to the sales person that a large carpet Id purchased this past summer was staining too easily - even a teaspoon of water causes a permanent stain in my overdyed carpet. The salesperson claimed the story is not ABC anymore. Ok - I didnt realize. But hey, it looks like ABC, says ABC, etc. The salesperson called a manager who came out, obviously angry at being disturbed. Maam, we are not ABC, we cant do anything to help you. We bought the company out of bankruptcy. I asked Can you at least advise me on what to do about these stains?. He said We would have no idea (!!) and when I said incredulously you mean no one in this store would know anything about my issue, he said it doesnt take a PhD to work in a carpet store. Clearly, the ABC so many of us knew and loved for so many years, is no more and in its stead are new, nasty owners who care nothing about customers and will surely ruin the legacy of the ABC name.

2021-03-31BUYER BEWARE!Buying a sofa from ABC Carpet & Home was one of the worst experiences of any purchase Ive made. This company left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. I ordered a sectional the first week of October 2020 during a Columbus Day sale. I was told to expect the sofa within 10-12 weeks because of production delays. I did not receive any communication from the company for weeks, but reached out since I never received the fabric swatch. At the end of December, I was planning to receive the sofa and contacted the company to get an ETA. I was told there was a delay and it was expected in February. This date was again pushed to the end of March.I DID NOT RECEIVE MY SOFA UNTIL ALMOST 6 MONTHS AFTER THE PURCHASE.While I am sympathetic to the issues that have arisen because of the pandemic, I am frustrated by the failure on the part of ABC to communicate effectively. They take weeks to respond to emails and dont answer the phone. They also have a no-return policy that leaves customers stuck.

2018-03-03A beautifully curated store with astronomical prices. I love going in here to browse and drool over the $25,000 couches. While smaller than its Flatiron sister, it’s much less crowded. If you’re actually shopping, I’d suggest going here. If you just want to look around, go to the one in the city.

2020-12-30A surprising shortage of even faintly interesting home furnishings. Maybe a victim of Covid and a difficult time. Hard to get to. Seems to be 80-90 percent rugs. So perhaps my comments are unfair.
