While the store does not have a great collection of poster art, the owner is phenomenal. Her framing work is top notch and its one of the stores that you feel comfortable being at.
Incredibly happy with how my framing came out. They took the time to make sure we had it planned exactly as desired and it came out perfect. Highly recommended.
I was completely amazed when I picked up my painting that was rolled up too tight n my closet for too long leaving these horrible lines running along the entire painting.not knowing how good of a touch up will cover the marks . I couldnt believe it looks as it did when I bought it n the frame was spectacular ......

2022-02-23I went to ABCO Art to have a professionally mounted photo removed from a large glass frame. It was very difficult to remove, but Arlene was determined and resourceful, and got the job done without damaging the photo. I also had a hardware issue with a scrapbook album that she was able to resolve.These two jobs were not the typical kind of work done at ABCO Art, but I appreciate Arlene’s willingness to accommodate me.I highly recommend ABCO Art and will return there in the future for my art and framing needs.

2019-12-29I have been having ABCO Art do all of my custom framing for almost 30 years now. I have always been satisfied with the excellent work that ABCO has long been known for. This business is a Bellmore landmark, established by Raymond Leeds in the 1950s. His daughter, Arleen, now carries on the tradition of excellent quality, and very personalized customer service. I have had many pieces of all types and formats framed by ABCO over the years, and I always have been very happy with the finished work that they do. There may be newer, franchised, big box stores that do framing now in the mix, but they will never provide the intimate and personal attention that you will get at ABCO! Highly recommended, and you will certainly not be disappointed!

2021-06-26We brought my wifes oil paintings to have Abco Art frame them. Arleen the owner is so helpful and gracious. We worked together to choose attractive frames for each of the six paintings. It took Arleen less than a week to complete our order. We are so happy with her fine workmanship and attention to detail. We highly recommend Abco Art for quality framing and great customer service! Five stars!

2021-04-29Visited ABCO as I needed an acrylic sign secured in a wooden frame. The owner was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, pleasant and professional. She did the job much faster than I imagined. I recommend this business. This is the first time I went here but I will definitely go there again.

2020-12-04The woman who owns ABCO does all the work herself. I brought a lithograph to her store and had her mat it. When I came back to pick it up, I noticed she matted over part of the image on each end. I explained to her what she accidentally did, and she said she did it right. I showed her that the mat clearly covered the image on both ends, however she took no responsibility for her mistake. She refused to make another mat and gave me back my money. I went to Long Island picture frame and they did a double mat and it came out perfect. Not only that, it was less expensive than what ABCO was going to charge me. So in the end, I got the job done correctly and it cost me less. Furthermore, I found a new framing shop that was courteous and professional with Great prices and I won’t have to deal with that seahag of a woman anymore.

2019-12-28Recently I had all my Dads artwork framed for my nieces and nephews. Everyone was so pleased with the choices the owner and I made. Abco Framing has a great selection of frames and matts, I highly recommend them! They are always helpful and professional.

2019-02-15A beautiful job on a beloved pastel from a favorite family member— they did a wonderful job cleaning and protecting the color with the glass and helped me pick a new frame—Could not have been more pleased,I ended up also purchasing a fun licence plate collage— just so much fun. I sent to a friend and several other lical people purchased one—

2016-04-27Ive been dealing with ABCO for over 40 years as a photographer who needs photos matted. Ray had, and now Arleen has the most incredible eye for color in choosing mats to compliment my photos. Always professional.

2018-02-05I was referred to Abco Art Custom Framing by numerous friends and family members and i have to say that i am beyond impressed by the work they did for me. I brought some artwork in to be framed and i got it back that same week. I highly recommend that you come here for all your framing needs.

2019-11-17WORST framing experience to date. A simple job done wrong, owner refused to refund or correct problem - mat-board significantly overlapped the text of an invitation, rendering invitation unreadable. Complete disregard for quality of product, service, and customer satisfaction. A 1-Star rating is generous.
