I moved into a house that had a very tight (8-12) crawlspace where the moisture rotted the floor joists to the point of cracking. Due to the limited access and uncertainty of how much damage existed, many companies took one look at it and didnt want to bid it. Tim was able to come up with a plan to create an access, dig out the crawlspace, repair the structure, seal it against moisture, and re-insulate it. His team did a great job in the time expected despite finding more damage than was planned.I had his team come back the next year to fix similar issues in other areas of the crawlspace on a much larger scale. There, we found many more issues that were unexpected including structural flaws and water line leaks. Thanks to his teams broad skillset, work ethic, and knowledge a huge amount of work was done in as short of a time as possible. Tim was also helpful in suggesting options to save time and money on the project by me bringing in side labor apart from his teams work. The house was torn up for this project, making their commitment to getting the job done correctly while also dedicating 100% of their time to my job was invaluable.Projects like these where the amount of work is unknown leaves the homeowner vulnerable to being soaked on cost, work that is incomplete, or a project schedule that drags on and on. I found Tim to be very reasonable in setting expectations as best he could, getting us to a solution, and finding a fair way to set his prices so his team wasnt working for free and I wasnt overpaying.
We have had ABS do numerous projects dating back to 2007. Our first project included WaterGuard drainage systems in 2 of our buildings with new sump pits. The basements have been virtually water free since the installations.Since then, we have had numerous outdoor drainage upgrades as well as foundation work. 2021-06-09The crew at ABS transformed my basement from a wet, unpleasant space to my new home gym that is clean, airy, dry, and a joy to spend time in. My house was build in 1926 and the basement was my least favorite part of my home. Now I have a waterproofing system in the floor and walls plus beautiful flooring and walls that keep the basement both dry and beautiful. They also re-built the stairs going down to my basement. The entire crew was professional, hard working, and fantastic in every way. I cant recommend them more highly!

2020-12-07We are totally happy and satisfied with the job done by ABS Foundation Services, on our basement wall. We had many issues that needed attention and repairs and these guys took care of them all, even the seemingly small details. The crew was very knowledgeable, courteous and hard working. Even though our job was extensive, they finished ahead of schedule. To us, these guys did a super job and we do highly recommend them. 2021-08-03Tim, the owner, was right on time to quote some work I thought was needed, and gave me one of the best walkdowns of my own house Ive experienced so far. I recently purchased a 60+ year old house, and with it a 60 year old cinder block foundation. After getting some recommendations from friends, I decided to call ABS to get a professional opinion on some of the more serious cracking I was noticing in my foundation. He inspected all of areas of concern, giving insight and recommendations for each problem, even giving advice on how to troubleshoot an old dehumidifier. He then walked the exterior of house and gave further advice on land grading and how he would install proper drainage.In the end, Tim did not see anything he felt needed to be immediately addressed, and had given me a list of fixes I could do myself to save money and combat the water-based issues Im having. Though I dont need to hire ABS for anything yet, I got top-tier insight and advice during my quote and will certainly be calling them in the future for my long term basement plans.

2021-05-12Contacted Tim with ABS Foundation Services to check on my 1920s residence. He provided a 30min assessment which not only touched on the historic framework of houses within this period but offered several suggestions on repair. I had some structural issues which at least to me appeared more grave than they actually were. I cannot even begin to describe how refreshing it is to meet someone who takes pride in their work and is factually honest with their consultation. I would not hesitate to call upon ABS again if the time should ever present itself.

2021-03-07Tim Case is fantastic! Super knowledgable, honest and didnt try to upsell us on anything that we didnt need. He took the time to explain his thoughts and the reasoning / method for every item he later wrote up in his work proposal.We needed to replace the support beams in the basement. Tim quoted us a very reasonable price and then had his crew over to do the work just a couple days later. ABSs work crew showed up on time, were incredibly professional and took the time to make sure that the work they were doing was on point and done well. They cleaned up everything and left the basement looking like they were never even here (minus some fresh poured concrete and a couple of new support beams).Weve got a couple of other fixes / improvements lined up and will definitely be going back to ABS for the things in their wheelhouse. Couldnt say enough good about these guys.

2020-04-06We are so happy with the work ABS foundation services Inc. Tim came over assessed the situation and explain to us our different options. He made it as simple as possible. The crew that came over, was headed up by Brandon were respectful, friendly and very accommodating. They always cleaned up after themselves which is a big deal to me. They did a fantastic job! AGAIN.... WE COULDN’T BE HAPPIER!

2019-09-17I am so very pleased with the wonderful job the ABS crew did in resolving our very labor intensive basement reconstruction. Phil is extremely professional and expects the same from the crew which were also hardworking and very courteous. We could not have asked for a better job or harder working bunch of guys. 2019-09-17I hired ABS to do work in my crawlspace. They showed up to give an estimate on time, they provided a proposal in a timely fashion, they are very knowledgeable about crawlspaces and basements, they are a local company, they promptly set up a start time, they showed up at said start date/time, they are very clean, friendly and honest, they do great work. What more can you ask for? HIGHLY recommended ABS Foundation Services!

2020-02-18ABS did an outstanding job fixing the water coming into the foundation under the addition that was put on my house. We originally speculated that there was no drain tile so the original plan was to install a WaterGuard drainage solution on top of the footer. Once the concrete was broke up, it was discovered that there was drain tile; however, the floor was poured directly on top of the footer. This stopped the water from reaching the drain. Instead of selling me the WaterGuard, ABS broke out extra concrete (a lot of extra work) in order to fix the problem the right way. They were able to use what was already there and not sell me things that I didnt need like most companies would. They did this at no extra charge! This job is very labor intensive and I cant express enough how pleased I am with the outcome.

2015-12-24ABS was very helpful in helping me decide what work needed to be done and what could wait until later. Everything was done on time and the guys were friendly and willing to answer all my questions. After the work was completed I had questions about foundation patching and Tim came out the same day to look at the areas in question, and the crew came out the next day to take care of the problem!
