The shop is Awesome.. Action Tire is no joke they got great service if you have a problem they bring a truck to you .,bring you back to the shop if you need. full line service. The shop has been around for a while they know what theyre doing and try to get you in and out as soon as possible.
I just had to take the time to give a big shout out thank the action tire and truck repair. Our family has been thier clients for years and even on the day they where closed, they came and helped change a tire and drove my car back to the shop to responsible make sure it got done correctly to future prevent any accidents. The Owner Mike really appreciates and cares for his customers.
I was referred to Mike by a good friend to get some work done on my car. They fixed my Oil leak and Air Conditioner perfectly, promptly, & at a GREAT price!!Mike gave me the best quote out of few shops I was getting quotes from. His entire staff at Action gave me the best auto service out of anyone before. Their expertise and honest approach is unparalleled to anything else. I will without a doubt always go to Mike at Action for any auto issues I may run into. Look no further these are the guys to TRUST!!
About a month ago I was in a real emergency situation. My check engine light was on and I had less than 5 days to renew my inspection and my registration. I met Michael (the owner) and his team trough my friend Sean as a refferal. With in two days I had recieved the best service possible. I am a young lady and often I met mechanics that rush you along and tell you what you want to hear. That was not what happen at Action Tire, I feel like I was a part of the process all of the way with advice and service at the best possible price.
Terrible service, showed up at 7am with a flat tire (mind you they open at 7) spoke with the guy and had my truck brought in, he jacked it up and started taking my tire off, only to begin helping other customers while my truck is sitting there jacked up. He repaired (2) other customers tires while I was waiting. It’s now 8:30 and he just got my tire off. This is absolutely ridiculous and the service is terrible.
I had never been to Action Tire before...not only was the staff incredibly professional, courteous and just plain nice, they replaced my tire, and took care of a few other incidentals at no extra charge. I was completely happy when I left there, and will recommend Action Tire to anyone that ever needs their services.. Bob Conte, the owner and his sons run a fabulous business.
I drove in with my temporarily, spray-fixed flat tire. They put on my spare at no charge, telling me to come back in a few hours as they ordered a tire for my car. I said I only have about $50 to spend. When I returned they said they only have new tires. This one is $95. I had gone to them a year ago where they DID sell me a retreaded tire. They insisted that they only do retreads for trucks and that they never sold me a retreaded tire ever before. I said thats why I came here, I am your repeat business. They were coldly argumentative and distant towards me and needs. In a pinch for time, I had to buy the $95 tire from them as my time had been wasted.
I am determined to spread the word about this place so if you see this comment repeating through out some websites, sorryTheir service might be OK but their customer service is Horrible! My father who is professional kayaker brought his car wearing his gear (boat tied up on top of the car) and some idiot name Sean who I think is a mechanic with two other Latino men stood there and made fun on him for wearing tight pants. On top of that Mr. Sean busted out his phone and tried to take a picture from behind of my fathers, right in his face!meanwhile manager stood there and did nothing, he did absolutely NOTHING while a customer was trying to reason with and idiot mechanic (or whoever he was) to delete the picture!so get ready for some camera action by big black man name Sean, who will make you feel very special
I have a Kubota 70 go 4 wheel drive tractor that I bent the front right rim 2-3 inches back towards the center. Shops in Ithaca NY said it was not repairable. Kubota is backordered on this rim, so I brought it to work in NYC and took it to Action Tire Tues morning. My jaw dropped as the man there walked it 6 times methodically with a sledge and it looked new! Remounted the tire today and I was back out spreading fertilizer on my tractor!! Great guys! Very reasonable price! Saved me a lot compared to a new rim
HAD A TRUCK NEEDING A JUMP START IN BROOKLYN ON 01/10/2020 @ 7:00 PM IN BROOKLYN. I MADE SEVERAL OTHER ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT A ROAD SERVICE PRIOR TO CONTACTING ACTION, AND NO ONE COULD HELP. ACTION WAS ABLE TO HANDLE THE JOB WITHIN AN HOUR. THANKS FOR YOUR QUICK AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSE, ALL STAR FLEET MAINTENANCE
Very very bad service I needed road service for my truck they were 15 minutes away from me, and took them more than a hour to get to me just because they get pay as soon as I make the phone call no sense at all stopping a hard-working driver just to make some extra money ! Unreal no wonder why business like that never make it far ! Would never use them again .

2021-11-03I brought my 2003 H2 Hummer to Mike at Action Tire Service because he also owned one and said he can fix any issues on it.Symptoms: my Dash lights out kept blowing the 15amp fuse, Trailer Brake in-op, and my 19 year old burnt out roof lights, turn signal indicator lights, and air bag suspension fault and a broken center console cover.Mike said if I liked the lights on his truck he would order and install them on mine.Mike recommended replacing the rear airbags with the springs he put on his H2.My battery is dying if I dont drive every week. Mike said it could be the air suspension shorting out so removing the air suspension should fix any issue.A month later, I picked up the truck and while I was backing it out of the shop the dash lights were on then went out again. Mike was not there at that time. I left the truck to have the dash lights fixed. This time I came to pick it up it was parked across the street in there collision repair parking. The first thing I noticed when I opened the drivers door the driver-side front door panel was broken and falling off. Mike said he would replace it and will call me when its in.Two months later after I had called twice asking about the panel he said its in. This time I showed Mike pictures of the water puddle on the dash and a video with water dripping from the ceiling center console into the cup holders after he installed the new roof lights. I also showed him the roof light on the front left side at parkway speed comes out and is flopping around on the roof by the wires. He said he would put a new set up lights and seal them.I cam to pick it up again and found that Mike replaced the door panel with a used damaged panel with visible cracks in it. He claimed my original panel was also damaged.I am one of those car guys that if its making a noise or anything is not working I have to fix it. No drips or unusual sounds at all on my 19 year old truck. Last week I had an offer from someone very credible who has seen my truck frequently offer me $40,000.00 cash for it. So you draw your own conclusion about the likely hood of me having the broken interior door panel when I dropped of the truck to be fixed. This time when I picked it up the tech said he replaced a wire on the trailer hitch brake light that was causing the dash light to blow.Mike recommended I replace the Optima battery. So I replaced it with a brand new Optima battery that same day. I drove the truck home and as it got darker my lights came on including the dash lights. I was glad to see that the dash lights were working. After a minute I noticed there was smoke coming up the inside of the windshield directly in front of me. Immediately I pulled to the shoulder of the Parkway and shut off the truck. Using my phone light I looked at the fuse that usually blows when the dash lights go out and it wasnt a 15-amp fuse that the factory called for but a 30-amp fuse so I pulled it out. I restarted the truck, no more smoke so I drove home and once again I still have no dash lights. By the way the new battery died overnight. After several attempts to repair these items unsuccessfully, I now have even more problems. I still had no dash lights, and the now roof lights leak even more from multiple locations in the front and rear. The new leaks correspond with the locations that Action Tire Service replaced the roof lights.I went to another shop who documented with pictures the following issues to be fixed. Several wires in Dash burned do to twice the factory rated fuse being installed. Shorts found in new roof light wiring touching metal. Air suspension wire harness unplugged shorted with water collecting in it. Replace sections of melted wires in dash harness. Rewire and seal all roof lights. Seal Air Suspension plug left loose by Action Tire Service. They found a loose ground caused Dash & brake lights issues. All dash and brake lights are working without smoke coming from the dash! Not like what I had from Action Tire Service. Action Tire Service installed a 30amp fuse, because the factory 15amp fuse kept blowing?????

2022-02-17Excellent serviceWe are truckers from New jersey, one of our box trucks got into a minor accident on 65th pl near queens blvd and had a popped tire.we called Action tire and they came to the rescueService was great my drivers exact words about the technician who came out to change the tire were Man this guy aint no joke, he is the truth. the technician changed the tire literally in 8 mins and the driver was on his way.Draw backs: Very minimal stuff to be ignored1) the price couldve been a little bit less, but cant argue for the service they provided2) told they will be at the spot in 1hr but took them 1hr 45 mins, even though their shop from our truck spot was only 6 miles. ( and again everyone knows about traffic in NY and maybe they were shopping around for the tire)All in all though would recommend this company for any of your trucking needs

2021-05-25I have now visited this shop twice, one to replace a busted valve stem and another to replace a tire, and both times the work is done within minutes and for a very reasonable price. Real New York style shop that gets you in and out but the workers are very nice as is the owner. Not sure if they do work besides tires but I need a wheel bearing replaced and would love to give them my business. Keep up the good work!

2020-02-22Very fast, reliable, honest, professional and high quality service! Action Tire and Truck Repair are amazing. We drove from Wheeling, West Virginia to visit my wifes parents. While visiting the brake sensors went off telling me to replace my brake pads immediately.I called a few places, but ACTION TIRE and TRUCK REPAIR knows their business and more so - my business, that is, what I needed and what was going on with the car. I was spoken to almost like I knew them for years, the conversation reminded me of a conversation I might have with a friend working on my car. This level of professionalism put my mind at ease. After all, taking your car for repairs in a place youve never taken your car to before, even being from out of town, was a nerve racking experience at first glance. However, these guys made us feel right at home. FRIENDLY! VERY COOL!FIRST CLASS EXPERIENCE, QUALITY AND WORK! I recommended Action Tire and Truck Repair to my relatives living in the area. Action Tire and Truck Repair did a FIRST CLASS BRAKE JOB on a FOREIGN SPORTS CAR for someone in a bind (being from out of town), and in less than a day for extremely reasonable rates. Thanks to them Im back on the road and able to travel back home Sunday. A++++. HONEST, RELIABLE, QUALITY, PROFESSIONAL - you are very lucky to have these guys New York!
