I want to thank the amazing Dr and her husband for today. It was my moms birthday and they opened special just for us! Not only that they brought my mom a BEAUTIFUL orchid plant... Prior to coming to see them my mom couldnt even walk, after one treatment today she literally walked around the office and cried. They also are helping me treat my face with natural herbs and creams.... I am so grateful 2 have found this place! I highly recommend it. My mom has been going 2 dr s and chiropractors for years in one treatment she is up and walking! Thank you both from the bottom of my heart!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Lisa (and also her husband who helps in the office and with scheduling). These are two of the most genuinely nice people I have ever experienced in health care. Not only are they kind and funny, but they have gone above and beyond to help me with my acupuncture before and during pregnancy. Answering texts during off hours, getting me appointments when I needed them extremely last minute, once Dr Lisa even came in on her day off to help me in an emergency. I have never had a doctor go so above and beyond for the well being of the patient. And it works! My acupuncture was to improve my fertility and also to help improve blood flow during pregnancy and it has worked wonders. Highly recommend their practice!

I hope that some people get help here. I didn’t (for back pain) but I continue to believe in the value of Chinese medicine. Unfortunately, from start to finish it was about squeezing money out of patients. Who charges a patient $30 to turn on a heat lamp? Really? I walked out the door of my first visit with a bill for $300, everything extra. I’m sure the doctor and her husband are good people but they do a disservice to Chinese medicine by treating it like a timeshare sign-up.

I went to see Dr Lisa for pain in the area of my scapula and trapezius which I believe to have been aggravated by sleeping in the wrong position. On the first visit, I was shocked at how quickly it became about the money. There was a menu of services that included a full body exam. Having had a recent physical from my primary doctor, I elected to get to work on what I was there for, my shoulder. The service was $140 which included acupuncture and also $30 was for heat therapy with magnetic healing. She charged $30 to put me under a heat lamp? After the first visit I felt a small amount of relief. My second appointment was for the next day. Dr Lisa told me that I would need to come back again on the third day. I asked how many appointments she expected I would need to get feeling better. She said at least six. After the third appointment, I decided to cut my losses and stop seeing her. She even jacked me $5 for a special herbal patch. If I had done all six appointments it would have cost $840. Ive had acupuncture performed in the past at a very reputable acupuncturist in Toronto. She charged half the price and I was feeling 75% better after the first visit. To be honest, Im not even sure that Dr Lisa knew where my pain was. She seemed to think the pain was in my rotator cuff although it was described in the initial paperwork and I also told her where the pain was each time I visited. Im glad that some of her patients have had success with her. There seems to be a very clear divide between those who were satisfied and those who were not, with little in between. Just beware if you go for the free consultation. Ask up front how much it will cost and how many appointments you will need to accomplish your goal. Dr Lisa told me that she was a compassionate Christian woman and she felt badly that some of her patients could not afford her services and that they had to suffer. I can afford her services but after sitting in a chair for three hours with needles sticking all over me, Im no better at all. Maybe her service is not worth what she charges whether you can afford them or not. One thing is for certain, a good acupuncturist is not easy to find but if youre lucky, acupuncture is great.

I have been having severe migranes for as long as I could remember and eating all kinds of over the counter and prescription drugs to ease them. Finally after getting referred to Dr. Lisa from a friend, I decided to do something about it. I wished I had done it sooner. I just felt so much better after my first treatment. At first, I could only understand half of what Dr. Lisa was saying b/c of her English, but I could feel that she was very skilled and knowledgeable. After several visits though, and I got to know her better, she is funny and warm. Highly recommend Dr. Lisa b/c she really knows her stuff and is very efficient. As for the pricing that a few of the comments below complained about. All the treatments and prices are reasonable for skilled acupuncturists. Treatment costs are also listed at the front counter, which is more than I can say for many of my regular doctors offices. The only reason people are complaining is b/c compared to out-of-pocket expenses at regular doctors offices, alternative medicine doesnt get covered by most insurances. If you were to look at how much doctors offices charge your insurance company when you go in for a physical, you wouldnt be balking at the costs.

I went to Dr Li on a referral from my chiropractor for a neuroma in my left foot causing pain when I walk. Dr Li convinced me that I should have an all over body treatment. I think I can tolerate pain fairly well, the first visit was okay but the second visit was VERY painful. I have bruises up and down my body. Friends who have had acupuncture tell me it never hurt that bad and they never had bruising. She wanted me to continue. I never did have relief from my foot pain. The cost was just too much for me to continue.

I went to Dr. Lisa on a verbal recommendation even though I was already seeing an acupuncturist. I decided to try someone else because of her reported specialty in female health. Her services are VERY expensive and she had me coming 6 days a week. Having had experience with acupuncture before, I can say that her needling technique is very hard and painful. I was often left in pain and bruised. Having said that, I gave it a long try - 6 days a week for about 2 months....and did not have a single improvement. I am not saying that she should have cured a lifelong concern that quickly but I do feel that there should have been SOME change to be noted. She often did not understand my questions or was unable to answer them. I work in the medical field and I also do my research, so I needed someone who is able to answer my questions and I really did not feel like I got that here. Her bedside manner and that of the office also can use some improvements. I returned to my acupuncturist and continued working both with my PMD and holistic practitioner and I have made drastic improvements. I sincerely wish that I had not wasted the time and (much) money on her services.Edited to reply: If it was indeed your goal to improve customer service, I would certainly have expected a reply within a year. I implore you to read the other reviews that agree with me to demonstrate that this was not a one-time fluke. I did not lose my faith in professionals who listen to their patients and work with them to better their health - rather than force their viewpoints upon them. While it is good, I suppose, that you take time to read your reviews, it is really rather unhelpful that you reply so late and needlessly. Theres no need to reply to this as I have found a professional who its truly an asset to the Healthcare Community.

For quite awhile, I have been suffering with extreme hot flashes. On average, Id get 10 hot flashes a day! Natural supplements werent working for me and I did not want to be on a hormone replacement. After seeing acupuncture on the Dr. Oz show, I thought Id give it a chance. However, I was very concerned to start treatments because I have been diagnosed with BPV (Benign Positional Vertigo), which means I can get dizzy at anytime. To my surprise, the first day of treatment was the first day I was hot flash free in 18 months! Dizziness has never been an issue because Dr. Lisa knew how to help with that too. As Ive continued treatments, my frequency and severity of hot flashes has diminished considerably! Dr. Lisa has also helped me with other issues and I dont think theres anything she cant do! I highly recommend Dr. Lisa for any issue one might have.

The reviews about being money hungry are pretty accurate. Its not a free consultation , its a free introduction to Dr. Lisa. A free consultation would consist of being evaluated and then discussing options of how she could help me. Dr. Lisa didnt even introduce herself, just walked in, left the door open, and asked what is my issue, and then suggested I purchase an evaluation and purchase three treatments for today that would total almost $300! I didnt want to purchase anything! I just wanted an evaluation to see what she could do for me. Apparently nothing, I tried to ask questions such as what exactly is acupuncture? How do you go about doing the treatments? Do you suggest combinations of treatments? And everything I asked she couldnt answer, she just suggested that I purchased them and try it because it works. I knew nothing about acupuncture before I went in, and I know nothing still after coming out. I did not purchase an evaluation or any packages, and I dont plan on it. Thank you for 10 minutes of wasted time.
