Just brought my new Martin D28 home from Adirondack Guitar. This is my second purchase from this shop and both experiences were great. Paul and Jared were amazing to work with and very accommodating on my trade. Thanks again guys!

Looks underwhelming from the outside - but a great selection, good prices, and super helpful staff. Threw in a guitar strap with the guitar, so excellent.

Weird experience with them. I ask to put a guitar on hold while Im making payments on another, then I get a change of heart, I want a different guitar. While Im waiting for news, they ignore me till I leave a bad review, then up the price on the guitar I wanted. This shop is bad news. Never again!

I sympathize with the guy that received warped neck Vintage Chinese knockoff Les Paul. I tried to buy a Burny Les Paul from a guy in Japan through Reverb recently and he was so honest that he messaged me that he checked the neck on the guitar and discovered that it was almost straight, but has no room to adjust with the truss rod, that it was tightened all the way, so I can not sell it to you. That blew me away. The Japanese are much more honorable and ethical than their American counterparts.

I bought a 2008 Vintage V100 Icon Les Paul-type guitar from this joint. Cost me $457 total. Bought it through Reverb. Since it was only one of 6 guitars I bought during a 3-week period, I didnt have/take time to thoroughly check it out after I unboxed it. I figured that since the manager claimed that the neck was straight and there was room for adjustment with the truss rod, I took his word for it. If need be, I can and will post his writing that through Reverb-Messaging, especially if he contradicts me on this with one of his EXCUSES he seems to be very adept at, judging by all of theONE-STAR REVIEWS here, and his having an excuse for each and every single Naysayer that is unhappy with the joint.So...the guitar has a Fatal and Permanent neck warp, with the Truss-rod having ZERO room to adjust. Maxed out, and looks like it has been that way for quite some time.ADK swears that the neck was straight and truss-rod was good when it left the store. IMPOSSIBLE!Necks dont warp overnight. So, it looks like I have a $457 wall-hangar. Will look nice on my wall, at least. Too heavy for a canoe-paddle.

My first review is under my name, Michael Bell. This review has to be under my stage-name, Texas Mike Bell, because you can not reply to a rebuttal with the same mailbox with the original review.I am going to address two statements that the manager made in his rebuttal to my one-star review from a few days ago.1. I have never attempted, through Reverb, to return this guitar. I tried communicating directly to the store, through Reverb-Messaging.So, that is one of the untrue claims made in said rebuttal. The only thing I asked Reverb to get involved with was when the guitar was stuck in 3 different UPS facilities for 6 days in New York. Reverb talked me into giving it a little more time.2. When it finally arrived, and when I finally found time 12 days later to thoroughly inspect the guitar, I attempted to adjust the truss-rod to address the very slight down-bow of the neck/fingerboard. The truss-rod was already maxed-out. It would not turn. A permanent slight bow.Through Reverb-Messaging from the store, and in the Ad itself, I had been assured that the neck was straight and that the Truss-rod was good, so that is why I did not immediately check the neck and Truss-rod when it came in. I had taken the mans word.It is IMPOSSIBLE that the Truss-rod had any play remaining in it when it left the shop. Even if it was kept in a 100-degree sweltering hot room with UPS for 3 days the truss-rod would not have moved itself. The only good this guitar has left in it, is that it will be a good slide-guitar, which requires higher action, anyway, so a little neck-bow wont make any difference.I am STUCK with it. The very FINAL time I do business with ANY type of business in the state of NY. I have found throughout the years that business owners and managers in New York are extremely difficult to get concessions out of, even with a very obvious thing like an already maxed-out Truss-rod on a guitar. My final word to the owner or manager, whoever this guy is, is this: If you can live with it, I can live without it.

I recently brought in a new Fender American Pro Jazz Bass for a pickup swap out (V-mods to Dimarzio Model Js). John spent some time with me as I explained they had to be a certain height and wired in a specific way. They did an excellent job, it came out perfect! Good turn around time. Will definitely go back for luthier services. Thanks Guys!

Bought a guitar bag on Feb 14. The bag has not been shipped yet and there was no response to my email inquiry about shipping updates. Stay away from this seller!
