The WORST trade in and purchase experience!!! They gave me a low ball offer on my used equipment. They cancelled my order without notifying me until I figured it out myself. I applied my store credits on the purchase - they were not willing to refund it back to me!!! The customer service is poor. No matter if you are satisfied with the solution or not, they will just stop responding. They DO NOT CARE. Avoid doing business with Adorama everyone!!!!
Super helpful customer service!. I ordered a Xbox series x online bundle online which included a controller and headset. I then went to the store and saw the bundle was way cheaper and when I asked them about it they said they could match the price for us. Great service and cool store!!!
Avoid Adorama at all cost. I tried to sell my camera gear (one of them is a D850) to their used department. They gave me an attractive estimate before I sent them my gear, which is 1700 for the D850. They said they took pride in paying 70% of the gear value. I thought 1700 was around 70% of the sale price for D850 right now. It turned out that they would only pay 70% of that initial estimate, so the final offer by them would be 0.7*1700, which is ridiculously low. This is close to a scam. Never do business again with Adorama.
I used to like shopping here because of the points you get for purchases until recently customer service would not honor the points I was supposed to get for referring someone to them. Not only do they take forever to process the points in general, but they made it seem like I wasnt eligible even when following the program rules. This is not the first time they cheated me out of the point system and its going to be my last time shopping here. Thats the turn off about this company - poor customer service. Thats why I am just going to start shopping back at B&H. They have competitive pricing and better combo kits. I only really shopped at Adorama for the points, and now that they are stiffing me on those...well Im out ✌️... B&H it is for me. Cheaper (even without the points) and way better customer service that actually resolves issues and not make a bigger headache for the customer.
Highly encourage everyone to take their business else where. They are great at taking money but be very wary on the off chance you need to return something. I even paid for their vip 360 and have had a return pending for almost 30 days which over 20 emails to their support team. Had to escalate to the BBB. Highly encourage you to look at their rating there!! Wish I did before purchasing.
Went in looking for a specific lens, William helped me out and got the lens ready for me. I got the store credit card but the male at register said I had to “reapply” to get it synced to my adorama acct and now credit ran twice! Wasted 30 min doing this. So frustrating I left without lens that I needed. Please find better workers at checkout that can look up a simple store card.
STAY AWAY.Ordered an item, and chose the next day delivery.The next day I receive an email saying that the item is at the store, so it will take some time to get it back to the warehouse in order to ship it to me.Fine, since I am not living far from the store, I ask if I can pickup the item there: the customer service said no problem. I was just waiting for the email that confirmed me that the item was available, instead I got one saying that the item was on the truck directed to the warehouse.Order cancelled: beginners hour is a kind of show I do not like.Go to BH, is totally another kind of experience, and let alone these losers.
I bought a dry box from this company a year and a month ago. It worked for a year and ten days, and only had a one year warranty. The company refuses to do anything to help, and the problem is most definitely faulty electronics, as the seal and everything else seems normal. Whatever regulates the humidity is not doing it. Do yourself a favor and shop at B&H Photo. Thanks Adorama.
Usually have decent time here never nothing outstanding but today I had worst customer service experience than any store not. Because I didn’t get my return but when I told them it’s okay I’ll take my item back the representative consistently telling me why he couldn’t do the return as he was mocking me and it truly upset me when i kept saying I’ll take it back it was like he was trying to make it worse than it was the one with mask I will probably never come back here when B&H is not to far better selection and service
Supposedly this is a real store, but my experience ordering online felt like the whole thing was a scam. I placed my order. Apparently it was shipped, but lost. Customer service claimed they placed a new expedited order for me, but I never got the email. After a few days I finally got an email that the product was out of stock. Now Im stuck emailing incompetent customer service back-and-forth trying to get my refund. Im one message away from issuing a chargeback on my card.
I was so excited for my Adorama order placed in July 2022 (Over $5,000 USD). After I placed the order, it was immediately placed on hold. When I called the verification department, they stated that their system could not match me up with the shipping address. I stated this is my address as per the listing on my state-issued Drivers License, but this was not an acceptable verification method for Adorama. I stated I have a lease agreement indicating I am paying for and am residing at this address, but this was not an acceptable verification method for Adorama. Their only approved verification method provided would be proof of address associated with a landline. In July 2022....im not sure if Adorama has picked up on this yet....but a lot of us, dare I say the majority, are not paying for a redundant landline in addition to a cellphone. My order was cancelled as they were not able to accept any verifications from documents that any governmental agency would accept. What an ancient process. Now, there is still a pending charge of the $5K+ amount sitting on my credit card which Adorama will not remove so I cant even go to another company to purchase the equipment as the credit is no longer available. CSR states that they will not be assisting with cancellation of the pending charge even though the order has been cancelled. So theyre basically holding my funds hostage (when I was specifically buying during a two-day sale-a-rama which, of course, will not be active once the pending charge is removed (I hope) in several days). Based on this personal experience, I would not suggest using this company.
If you buy anything at Adorama be prepared to be spammed to oblivion. In the last 7 weeks Ive received over 100 spam emails from Adorama. Nothing I do will stop them. Ive emailed, called multiple times, used the chat feature. Each time they say that they will remove me and allow 48 hours for it to be completed? I purchased a $9,000 camera system from Adorama and then they started spamming me. So, guess what, I was planning to buy another $9,000 system to complete a set and I WONT EVER by buying ANYTHING from Adorama EVER AGAIN. So congratulations, you just lost a customer and your spam cost you $9K. Ill be giving all my business to Adoramas competitior (starts with a B).
It really pains me to write this review because I had some good experiences with this store in the past. I recently ordered/purchased an item that was listed as in stock on their website at the time of purchase, but now it seems to be backordered. NO ONE contacted me to let me know that it was backordered after I made my purchase. Each time I tried to contact someone there it seemed to be awfully difficult to communicate any details about my order. There was even one person in the live chat who told me that my issue was beyond his scope? The biggest issue I have is, why would your system let me get to the point where I could check out if you dont have the item? I took a screenshot of the item, as it still said it was in stock on the website, and I shared by email with someone I spoke to by phone, and they gave me the complete run around. The experience left a sour taste in my mouth, Ill take my business elsewhere.
Adorama has been a great store in the past, which is why I am so disappointed to have to write this review of complete dissatisfaction. I decided to purchase a new computer from adorama, and the sales rep suggested I sign up for the New Leaf warranty which the store recommended. So I decided to trust adorama and purchased the warranty. When I eventually had a few issues with my computer that were fully covered by the warranty I purchased, I contacted the company. we discussed the potential fixes, cleared what was covered in the warranty and so they asked me to send the laptop to their service provider and I did on valentine’s day, 14 february 2022. I was told it would likely take four or, at most, six weeks for the agreed upon repairs which were fully covered under my warranty to be completed. I did not see my computer again until May 5th 2022. eleven weeks. that makes it very hard to complete work on said computer. how much is an extra month worth on the machine you use for business? who can say. when it was finally returned to me, the screen had not been replaced, although it was covered and I was assured it would be. the provider requested an additional $50 for battery replacement which was not covered… so I paid them for a new battery but the battery was also not replaced. to add insult to injury, they added software to my computer while it was in their care that started filling up my C drive as soon as I started using the computer again which I had to locate and uninstall. That’s another few hours of work in the middle of an editing project that can put you behind schedule and lose you business as an editor. They even failed to send me the protective slip cover which I mailed my computer to them in, a cover which I also had purchased at adorama. when I requested they forward it after the fact, they said they would and did not bother. It’s clear that adorama is comfortable selling you a warranty plan but then, despite my requests for help, they do not follow up to ensure that that plan actually works. directly contacting them about my problems yielded zero results. their stance is, once the sale is made, living up to their word is not their problem. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.
I ordered a spotting scope whose description explicitly stated that it had a mil-dot reticle. I passed on a great deal for a different secondhand scope for this one. When it arrived, it was a different optic than that which was advertised - no reticle. I am returning this scope. However, even though the scope I ordered is listed as in stock, the representative stated that it would not be shipped to replace the incorrect scope. They apologized, but its still a huge waste of time and, for me, money.
I purchased a new Dell monitor from Adorama via Amazon.com. The monitor died within the warranty period. I attempted to get warranty service from Dell who stated they have no record of the serial number. Adorama support told me that my purchase was covered by a third party warranty service called CPS. I contacted CPS which stated they have no record of any warranty plans issued for my serial number or my model of monitor. After four weeks of Adorama support failing to provide any resolution, I concluded that Adorama has sold me a used/refurbished monitor. I can think of no other way for Dell to have no record of the serial number. Do not trust this merchant.
For those who are thinking of buying some financed equipment with Adorama, think twice, because Ive been trying to finalize the purchase of approximately $2,800 for 1 month and I cant. I applied to the bank that Adorama suggests (Synchrony Bank), I had my credit approved and when I try to make the payment I cant. Several items of my purchase went out of stock and still the attendants do not solve. Ive called more than 10 times to Adorama trying to solve it and they always told me to call the Bank saying that the problem was the Bank. The bank proved that there was nothing wrong with my registration and I still have problems without being able to finalize my purchase of professional equipment. Nobody solves the issue and its still open. I rotated my credit there and so I tried every means to resolve it. Ive always shopped at BH photos&video, but I decided to try shopping there and unfortunately it looks like Im buying from a second-rate store that doesnt pay the slightest attention to its customers to actually solve the problems. Think carefully before shopping there, if you have problems it will not be easy to solve.
Just had an experience with Adorama that confirmed my unwillingness to do further business with them. I’m generally a B&H customer, but sent Adorama a used MoVI Pro bundle, which they purchased at a fair price. I planned to buy a DJI Ronin 4D to replace it, and thought I’d simply apply the trade/in credit to the purchase. While they weren’t showing stock, I was assured, in no uncertain terms, that they’d have delivery of the 4D’s within three days. (B&H already had them) Three days turned into a week, then two, so into the third week I cancelled my order. “Meyer Bloomberg” struck me as disingenuous in telling me that the units were practically there, and unhelpful at best as I tried to get information as to the status of their availability. I am, once again, a confirmed B&H customer! (Helen, no need to respond to this - twice burned is enough for me)
I did two reviews on this site for something I bought from them. Both reviews were 5 stars BUT I pointed out a very important negative aspect of the product that potential buyers should know about and they did not publish either review. I actually wrote customer service about this and they responded and said Sorry, must have been an error somewhere. There was no error I saw and even had pictures attached. The process went all the way through both times and yet neither one posted. I know this too by the fact that there are more recent reviews on their site than when I posted. Anyway, I think this practice is shameful and I will never but from them again.
BAD PRODUCTS & EVEN WORSE SERVICEMy Slidgo X8 Scooter lasted a few months before it stopped working. Its been over 8 weeks and still no resolution!!! Customer Service is non responsive! Customer Care was unwilling to replace the scooter with another of equal value after this model was discontinued. I requested a refund and will no longer be a customer of Adorama!!!
Extremely Slow Order ProcessingIt’s needn’t over 9 days and my order that was placed through a 3rd party have yet to ship. But every order I placed with this 3rd party AFTER adorama has been delivered already. I should have picked another product when I saw they were the merchant. And calling doesn’t help at all because I was given false info.
Honestly, worse in every way to B&H. Customer service has been so rude and unhelpful to me whenever I have an issue with an online order. I was upset about a product having a misleading description and I went back and forth with customer service for A MONTH because I was asking for literal scraps to resolve the issue. They ended up blaming me and saying I was wrong, then I returned the product and they updated the description to be correct after they got their return. Worse discounts than B&H and treat customers worse. What are you doing shopping here?
Failed me. Ordered 2 drives for a video deck to arrive by Friday last week. Only one arrived. 2nd on backorder. No prior warning. If Id known Id have had time to order 2 from somewhere else. No help given trying to secure one after they failed to deliver. Now I dont have the drives to satisfy the needs of my client. Terrible service.
I had terrible experience at this store and this company I came in on sunday and sold a camera here then I deposited a check on the same day, then chase called me and told me they were not able to confirm the check, I contacted this store and I was transfer through few different departments with out any help just be pass around. I was being transferred to 2061 one of the manager there no on picked up, 6211 the accounting department no one picked up and also a 2107 department, I was also being unprofessional transferred to 6212 the sales department. I just feel this store and company is very unprofessional and doesnt care about customers after leaving the store. I am not going to come back again
Sent my equipment in for trade. They confirmed acknowledgement of it. 10 days have gone by, no one has called, not given value for it. I have gotten an email saying Call us, but yet no one is taking the calls and when I got a supervisor in a different department, they wouldnt transfer me and told me they wont accept the call. They want me to call them back yet again.
This store sold me an Autel Evo Smart remote for $1283. 1st one came broken sent back and they shipped another one defective. Didnt want to help to make it York. I sent d remote back and now they said I sent another version of the remote. This people are rats be careful. Unfortunately I thought it was a legit company it came to be another scam of a company. Good thing I took pictures before sending back so now they are in d BBB Smith a case due to this horrible event. Stay away from this scammers.
I am missing battery pack, USB charger, AC connecting are all missing in the box. I asked them to sending the missing items. I was asked to send pictures of what I got. I asked them that I will return the item because if the unprofessional response from one of the associate Ryan. He asked me to return the items unfortunately my son has lost the box for the camera. They are rip off so I am not even sure if the camera works as I cannot test it .
A great place when you’re looking for used gear as well as a Photography store that’s opened late. They have actual people that know what they’re talking about as opposed to just salesman. This building has many levels. It has a rental department, a pro diving shop, as well as a computer room that you can rent by the hour. Whether you’re looking to buy a roll of film or rent an on location van that is fully stocked with everything you need for on location photography or videography. They are pet friendly and wheelchair accessible for 95% of the space. Absolutely no bicycles allowed inside.bathroom’s are kind of small and have a timer for the light.
Received a $1000 camera when I ordered $2500 camera.I had a wedding shoot planned and was so excited to receive this camera but couldnt make it to the event because of this replacement. I lost my client. Invoice shown is SONY A7 R IV. When called to customer care, they asked bunch of questions and multiple photos of delivered item and continuous follow up they were able to find the reason,They misplaced item in my order.This is after 3 days of item delivery and continuous followup.I already paid for premium shipping. I do not recommend adorama anymore and I suggest you all to dont plan any event based on Adorama shipping date.
Won’t be purchasing items from this store ever again. Jamo speakers came damaged, didn’t offer to overnight me another set at all, had to take off work once to be here for the items, shipping center failed to protect them or care, now i get to set around waiting for the UPS guy to come pick them up on my day off. Finally called to cancel the order and not have them send me out another set, didn’t offer me any other options. Wouldn’t overnight me another set or give a discount for the inconvenience they were just more than happy to cancel it. Not the level of customer service you’d except when spending over $700 with a company. Shipping speakers in the original boxes and not putting them into other big boxes with packing peanuts to protect them isn’t just standard procedure? , of course they will be damaged upon arrival! You never cared to to protect them! I have posted pictures under my this review of the carelessness of this company.Edit: finally company got back to me and overnighted my order speakers still were shipped in OEM boxes no protection. Even after it was requested. They did come just like new but I believe that do to overnight shipping high standards and less places the boxes are traveling through. Was huge pain of non stop phone calls with this company to accomplish anything at all. Order 5/21 finally got my order 6/3. Doubt I’d buy from the again. To much hassle.
If you ever buy anything from these clowns, you will be on their junk email list FOREVER! i have unsubscribed so many times, but it never ends. its like Jean Paul Sartres No Exit, except in this case, hell is Adorama Camera. stay far away! i will never, ever patronize them again.
Bad experience, I ordered A work station desk from the website then after 3 days I called to check on my order they said that they don’t have it in their warehouse ( they should have told me , or at least let people know on the website that the item is out of stock ) . So now they said that I have to wait. no estimate time it can be weeks or months until I receive my order. I’m canceling and never ordering from them again.
Visited the store last weekend after black Friday and Cyber Monday sale and luckily they still have the sale of almost the gadget that i wanted to buy and stocks were still available! They do have the most recent camera models of most brands, equipments, lighting and even audio and much much more.And thanks a bunches to Federik who went above and beyond to answer my questions, give comparisons, did some research and help me decide which is the best bang for my buck! He even asked his supervisor if there was more price deals on the items, and sure enough got more!Bought some gadgets like DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone, 150-600mm lens, Gopro 8 and will be back for more!
12.24.17 - stopped in to play with the Canon 6D because Im shopping for a used DSLR with the best value for now. Its been about 20 years since I last shopped at Adorama when I used to get my paper. Pauly was my guy to go to until he retired and he was ALWAYS a supportive gentlemen and helped me as a kid get comfortable with spending my money and experimenting with new materials.Unfortunately, on Christmas Eve the person I spoke to briefly was very brief and to the point. Although I appreciate the no-BS-salesmanship style, I missed Pauly even more because he took the time to get to know me when it was busy or slow. My mistake was going in there with the expectation of meeting someone who would be helpful and interesting in getting to know why I was in their store shopping, instead of telling me what I wanted to know and then shutting off.Ill most likely buy what I want from Adorama since they seem to have the best value, but itll take a lot more time and effort on my part to connect with someone there or itll happen after I drop a 2 to 3 Gs.
The shipping box was a bit dented/crushed, but thankfully the contents of the box were in perfect condition. Extremely happy with my purchase from Adorama, loved that I was able to get way more extras for a small price bump, than what I could find from other online camera stores. I will be coming back for similar deals!
I have bought from Adorama for years & fully trusted them, until this week. I discovered the lens I just purchased was a gray market lens (i.e., no warranty, non valid USA version)!! I understand that these are less expensive, and if they had advertised it as such and I purchased it, then no problem, but that wasnt the case. What they advertised and what I received were completely different items. Tamron website and other sources clearly state that if the Box top does not have the warranty Hologram, then it is a grey market lens.I contacted customer support, whose only response is basically... sorry you were not satisfied with the item, you can return it since its within time period. Really? Thats how you respond to fraud? obviously, I will be returning this , along with the d850 I just purchased, along with everything else.Considering the lens is over $500, and what was sold to me was different than what was advertised, technically this is considered a felony, if I decide to press charges. Still deciding. Buyer beware!
I have purchase several cameras over the years and was satisfied with the transactions. This time I sold my equipment back. I had only used the camera serval times so it was as new with all the original box, packaging and accessories. Before I sent in my equipment for a quote I asked Steve how much I could expect to get my equipment if received as described. He told me about $350.00. This is what about other companies had offered me so I sent it in. After several weeks I received an email saying the offer was $250.00 which was 70% of retail. As I was leaving the country in a week on an extended trip for an expended period I didnt have time to have the equipment sent back to take elsewhere so I accepted the offer. I should have read the online reviews which indicated that others had also experienced the same bait and switch tactics...my bad, just disappointed of the experience.
I went in to buy a 2nd camera body to shoot a wedding and thought the place looked good 👍. I was promptly greeted by someone and asked to see a camera. He looked and found what I was interested in and asked to see it. He saw what appeared to be another customer and just handed me off to someone else. That person made a sale while the other guy didnt. Strange, but Im sure Ill be back again.
I went in today to see a phone I found on the Adorama Website. While talking with a sales rep, he suggested that I should also look at a specific brand and model (that Adorama doesnt carry) as he was impressed with it. This is what I love about Adorama: they did not try to sell, but rather provided honest advise.Their pricing is good, their knowledge is excellent but their service is awesome!
Placed an almost $4000 Macbook Pro on Oct 23th.I received my order yesterday, and the shipping box came without any damage. But the second layer box inside from DHL China (manufacturer) to Adorama and the original APPLE box is damaged!So I called the Adorama customer service for a replacement, and they said they would expedite my order replacement.All I have to do is to drop off the item back at the nearest UPS store.I waited all day for the order replacement email, but NO Bueno! So I called back to follow up, and they cant do that. I have to wait another week to process the replacement then I asked for a refund instead and they cant do that either.I felt cheated and wasted my time on this nonsense!
I am hit or miss with these guys at best. They certainly dont compare to B&H for customer service. Getting through to tech support for their store branded products is frustrating if not impossible. Feel free to leave a message but dont hold your breath waiting for a callback. It wont happen. I like the Flashpoint (Goddox) line of products but would not buy them again for this reason. Once I tried to trade some equipment in and when I got to the store they would not pay the quoted price over the phone. B&H did and their offer was higher so I traded there. I might still use Adorama again in the future but I wont be thrilled at the prospect.
Great service and very knowledgeable staff at Adorama. We are not pros, just wanted more than a cellphone camera for our trip to Alaska. Tips were clear and direct, they have lots of choices at all price points, and the salesperson even convinced us to save by buying one of their used cameras so we could have more features for the same price as brand new. Never made us feel dumb! Highly recommended.
I placed a $2150 order, it was shipped by UPS, delivered directly in my hands from the UPS guy. I open the box, most of the stuff is missing. Package looks very poor and damaged, fixed with transparent tape. I call Adorama and they start a sequence of tomorrow we will let you know. After over 1 week, they finally say they have it on camera that all items were placed in the box. Its going to be my problem with UPS, they dont want to refund me. I know Adorama is a trusted company, but everything is good until there is an issue, then they will not care about you. If you order expensive stuff, keep in mind you take the risk to get back nothing. Up to you.
Did an online order for a used lens. Lens arrived quickly and I swear this must be a new lens. It came in the original packaging with all the accessories a new lens would come with. There is not a scratch on the lens or housing. The zoom is even still stiff just like a brand new lens normally is. I am very impressed and will purchase my used lenses from here going forward.
I bought a Matrox Monarch HD encoder from Adorama in May of last year. I decided to go with the Black Magic Web Presenter since it allows interaction with software that the Matrox doesnt. I paid $995 for the Matrox Monarch. I inquired as to how much I could possible get for it from their used department, the guy, Avi, told me that I could get as much at $400 and when I talked with him over the phone he even threw the price of $450 out there, stating that it depended on the condition of the equipment but I needed to send it in so that they could inspect it. I take great pride in taking care of my equipment so, if there is a such thing as somewhere between good and excellent condition, that would be my listing of the equipment. I was appalled to receive an email today offering me $225 for my encoder. I told them to immediately return my equipment. Evidently they thought I was hard up because I called a few times to check in on the process of the evaluation. I feel outright disrespected. They have lost a long time customer forever. Im attaching images of the emails and my proof of purchase, along with serial numbers and the whole nine yards. These guys are straight up rip offs. Stay away. They are smooth talkers.
Received items, they got pretty beat up on the way to me due to very poor packaging. The put a small box (lens) in a huge box, with very little packing material. The lens box top was opening and you can see the lens box was ripped due to rough handling. Im not sure I want to keep something that received that much abuse. I expect a $2,000 plus lens to be treated with a little more love. When I got the box from the driver, one flap was already unsealed and I could feel the lens sliding back and forth inside the big box.Update, less than one week later I had received a replacement that was in perfect condition. I came to Adorama because of their price. I will be coming back because of their service. Thank you Nancy for turning this around so quickly.David Wildes
Super impressed. I bought a small gaming console from them over the Thanksgiving holiday - it arrived the next business day (and ahead of the estimated arrival date!), and was well packaged. The price was comparable with the lower estimates Id seen from other retailers, and much lower than Amazon. Would buy from them again.
I dont think Ive ever been treated so egregiously disrespected by a company before. Every time I call them I have to prep myself mentally because they have no regard for who theyre speaking to. I bought a used item and it hasnt shipped out yet AND the address was wrong. I called to have it corrected and customer service sent me to the used department. Then the used department sent me to customer service. This went on for about 3-4 more times but what really pushed me over the edge is that when I tried to explain that Id been transferred already, they cut me off before I could finish speaking. Hey I need to update an addr-- Okay hold on, Ill transfer you. Wait I- *elevator music* No one could just take FIVE seconds to hear what I had to say. Im done with adorama. Im done with speaking to 8 people to order one item. B&H just take my money because at least you guys have customer service and not just utilize it as nomenclature for your departments.
I bought a Ricoh GR3 last month and turns out having quality issues. I contact Ricoh, the customer service phone call says they are not in charge of any camera issue; the contact email is an invalid address. Then Adorama sent me a pre-paid UPS order and refunded all my money.
Adorama sold me a gray market/recertified Dell display without any indication that the product was gray market. It shipped in a generic cardboard box with out any sort of manufacturer packaging. The display has a small line of dead pixels, and when I went to go register it with Dell for warranty service, Dell said the serial numbers were invalid and it has no warranty via Dell. I addressed this with Adorama, and they told me that the item in fact has a 1 year warranty, provided by a third party, despite Adorama’s website showing that the display is sold with a 3 year warranty from Dell.Adorama is allowing me to return the display for a refund, but imagine if I had kept it, and needed warranty service more than a year in, I’d be screwed. Both Dell and Adorama would’ve told me to take a hike. Shady business practice, maybe even fraudulent. I’ve spent close to $8000 here in the past 3 years building up my business. Not a penny more after this.
Good store, knowledgeable staff, a little more personal service than their megastore competitor. I love the Sony a7s iii and zoom lens with filters. Alex put together a gimbal package thats turned out to be great, and Angel and Chris aided me in trading in my older gear. Everything at a fair price. Getting some terrific photos and vids out of the gate with a monster camera Ill grow into over time.
Ordered on January 9, received on January 11. Item itself was perfect, although the packaging was damaged (see photo). C-stands are pretty robust so it didnt matter that it was poking through a big hole in the box. I really like Kupo stands, especially how easy it is to collapse the turtle base for transportation. Easier to take down and set up than the alternatives. Very secure clamping on the riser.
This store is amazing!!!!!! Have everything you could possibly need for photography or media production. If your a tech geek like me or passionate about media production this place is like Heaven. Highly recommended you stop by if your looking for something in particular they can help you obtain it. Five stars!!!!!!!!
Order SanDisc microSDXC Memory Card for $20 on the website on Dec 23, 2021. Adorama told me it is on back order but will ship it as soon as it is available. Two days later Adorama cancelled my order. Today, 1/4/2022, the same microSDXC card is in stock, but it is $44. Instead of honoring my order, Adorama cancel my order in order to make extra money. Shame on you!
Items were automatically removed from my cart while I was shopping and low and behold the item is now out of stock. However I did get through to their support during operating hours and we worked it out. Tough time getting certain items this year but the price was right so I am happy.
Great store I moved out of queens to East end Long Island. I drove 2 hours in and because there was construction closing off the block they said they would pay for my parking they didnt have to do that. on top of that gave me nice fair trade and value towards my new Mavic 3. Its a very professional place I highly recommend for buying new used or traded in your equipment. 👍👍
Excellent service and expertise in areas of Lenses, Lighting and Audio. They dont try to upsell you. They give you real advice, even when the best option for your needs isnt the most expensive. Very generous with their time explaining things if you are not a pro, which is why I am a repeat customer.
Prices are decent. But the weird thing about tickets and sellers I never can figure out. If you are going to require me to snag a ticket number to get service, maybe a big orange sign “get your ticket here”. Do you see such a thing in the photo? no. I bought my Fuji XT3 here, but I basically just barged up to the counter. When I came back to get accessories for my Fuji, it was too busy and annoying to deal with. Up the street to the competitor it is!
First they estimate your camera with a decent price , then when you send it to them for evaluation. You will wait whole week without any updates and after that you will have to call by yourself to hear that the price is half as they told me. Dont waste your time there , and also staff that work there doesnt reply to emails and basically ignore you. Never again adorama
Posting this review after a week of silence from Adorama customer service. Following 3 delivery attempts (all 3 arrived damaged), I still dont have my keyboard or a refund.48 days have passed. No keyboard. No refund.Something is broke with the process at Adorama, and despite asking for escalation to management, it appears no one there cares enough about customers to analyze whats broke and why.
Although Adorama is technically a big company it has somewhat of a smaller store feel with a surprisingly great selection of photo and video products for a fair price. I found myself buying through them a lot lately for a few reasons. One is that I can pick up most items in store same day. But moreso to support other options besides Amazon, and B&H who a few years ago found out via many articles that they were not letting their Latinx employees use their bathroom.
Very unhelpful and incapable customer support, they dont want to even process what the customer is saying on both call or email, but just repeat the same lines, over and over, till youd want to bash your head against a wall. Why have any humans if theyre no better than bots?They rejected my order even though my bank had approved the charge. Well, heres hoping they actually return the money.
Have been a customer for several years but recent experience was atrocious. Have had $1300 telescope package on back order since January. This week they finally contact me to allow me to take partial delivery on order which I agreed to. They they then cancelled entire order without informing me. When I call to inquire on delivery I am passed around to three different people each of whom is condescending and tell me the items are no longer available. Being courteous to a customer is expected and I am taking all my business to B&H. When they promise something they deliver on it.
OMG 😲 totally awesome. I was able to get a 35mm wide angle lens, filters for my other 2 zoom lenses, a flash, a camera battery......all Nikon products for my Nikon D3500 camera for under $500. Excellent service and very knowledgeable. I would definitely go back to Adorama for my photography needs.👍👍
I had arranged to buy a $4,000 item from this company. I was told - after being given a price quote and that the return policy was thirty days - that the return policy for me was 14 days. I asked for clarification and was told it was because I had returned defective product to them before. I dont think this is actually legal for them to do, but at minimum it is not the mark of a company that I ever wish to deal with. I told them this and now I am telling you, so that you might find a more ethical company to buy from. I can see from the dozens of one star reviews posted here that I am unfortunately not alone.
I have been a retired professional school picture man since 2012.My company always depended on Adorama. They have never failed me. Not once in all these years. Trustworthy. Fair. Friendly. I could not stand retirement, so I am back again at 61 loving photography and....buying from adorama.
Truly TOP NOTCH service. I ordered the Sony 70-200 GM lens. There was a $200 holiday discount and it came with A BUNCH of goodies. The support people were amazing. I was flipflopping between 2 different packages that were the same price. I changed my order twice (I know, pretty annoying). They were patient with me and handled my order with care. One of the filters were out of stock so the representative upgraded my filter FOR FREE. He also asked me why I wanted the other filters on my list. He told me what I was looking at was a downgrade and advised that I save my money. Usually sales reps let you buy it then figure it out.Im happy with both the product and the experience.Thank you Adorama!
Will never order from this company again. Terrible communication. Placed a large order for my school district, when equipment did not arrive I tried contacting company several times before I got an email response asking for the confirmation number and tracking number....Seriously. I had the order number but this was not good enough. After two weeks they finally responded with what I ordered was no longer available and they can send me replacement options instead. AVOID! Plenty of other options.
Absolute nightmare. I needed an item before a trip out of the country. I ordered it a few days before x-mas and it said it would arrive in 2-3 business days. After 7 days, still no shipping confirmation, so I request a cancellation as I will not receive the item in time. I get a reply with shipping details, saying it will go out sometime later that day. I call Adorama customer support immediately and they tell me they cant cancel, as the product is already out. However, they can flag it to be returned by UPS and once it is returned I will get my refund. Thats fine, until the next day when I get an email saying I can no longer be refunded as UPS has delivered my package. So not I am out of the country, without the product, and I need to have a friend grab the package and pay return shipping. Super unprofessional business. I will NEVER shop here again & will be reporting to Better Business Bureau.
Great experience!! Great customer service!! I purchased a Sony Alpha a6000 mirrorless Tripod Kit during the Black Friday sale and have no complaints about any of the items. I am loving my new camera! I received my package in a timely manner. I had a problem with my credit card company and ended up making the same purchase twice. I reached out to Adorama about their return policy and whether I would be able to return one of the packages. Skylar M. was very kind in helping me resolve this issue (thank you!) and was able to intercept one of the packages at no cost to me. I was given a full refund for the duplicate order. I would highly recommend this store!!
This is my first review and the worst shopping experience I have ever encountered. Three days ago, I purchased an order at the eBay store of adorama, which was a seemingly good deal. Today I received the express and found that the store had secretly replaced the lens. My order was originally an FE24-70mm f/2.8 GM lens, but it was replaced with a cheaper lens, which is completely different from the description in their shop. They also modified the description column, but they didnt even change the picture, which is so funny. Its totally wasting customers time, without even the most basic respect. Even without checking or notifying customers of such problems before shipment, they choose to ship directly. You should not deceive customers who trust you so much. I will never go to this store to buy again. This is the worst shop I have ever seen.
UPDATE:They have since tried to make it right. We ended up compromising on a discount to accommodate for the damage. In my opinion, still not enough to make up for the significant damage or the time lost dealing with this nightmare. Hence the update to 3 stars.Orig review:The second worst customer service I have ever experienced. Lied about condition of a monitor they sold me on eBay, had me send it back before sending me a replacement, so I had to rent one in the meantime. Then, took forever to get me a replacement and in the process made me fill out a bunch of paperwork that had nothing to do with them since I bought it through eBay!!!! Super sketchy, HUGE waste of time. Very unprofessional. Definitely go to B&H for purchases. No BS there. Hell, id rather go ANYWHERE than here.
Ordered a camera, two lenses, and some accessories on a friday night. Called in Monday morning to change the shipping to next day since I needed the camera sooner than anticipated. They told me theyd put a rush on the order for me. Turns out they partial shipped the order. Today I received one lens and the accessories, but not the camera? Ya know, the important part. Apparently the camera and the other lens is shipping out today and will be here tomorrow. But at that point, why did I pay for next day..?
I should have looked at the bad comments first. My camera has been sent since july 27 they recieved for trade on august 2nd. It takes 5 to 7 days for a quote. They passed the date, once I emailed them. They just kept passing me to different representatives. It took almost 2 weeks to get a quote. Now I decided to take the camera back guess what. It has taken now nore than a week to send me my camera back. Definitely shady. Luckily for me I can send my camera to fujifilm hopefully they can tell me if it has been tampered with. Be careful trying to sell your equipment with adorama. Make sure you check it for defects if they ever send you your own personal belongs back to you. Terrible experience, frank brown and jack gold were 2 of the representatives i had to deal with. There was one more. Take your valuable gear and send it somewhere where it will be treated as such.
My last experience was not a positive one. Recently, I ordered a Nikon 24-70 2.8 lens. An expensive lens for me. When I received the lens, the Nikon box had a corner severely mashed. Appeared that the Nikon box had been dropped at some point. This did not occur during shipping. The shipping box was fine. Anyway, I engaged in chat support with Clark O and expressed my concerns about the lens possibly being damaged. Clark was very nice and told me I could exchange the lens without issue. He sent me a pre-paid label. Clark told me once the lens arrives, it may take 2-3 days to process and ship the replacement. Well, five days after Adorama had received the lens, my account did not indicate the lens had been received, a replacement sent, etc. As a result, I contact support via chat. I engaged in a chat with Albert. He confirmed the lens had been received and a refund was issued instead of a replacement being sent. I expressed my disappointment because I needed the lens within a few days. His response: I suggest you order another one. He offered no other solution. He could have generated the replacement, expedited the order, etc, but offered no assistance or possible solutions.Update: I was contacted by another staff member from Adorama on July 1 who was very apologetic and about my experience and assured me this would be addressed with customer service. I do appreciate the follow-up by Nancy. Thank you!UPDATE: I purchased several thousand dollars worth of camera equipment in 2019. As a result, I earned just over $40.00 in points. I was saving the points for when I made another significant purchase. Today, (11-25-20), while trying to make a purchase, I could not find my points. I called customer service. After being pass around, I was told the point expired. I was unaware the points expired I never received any notification that they were about to expire. Customer service was not willing to offer any resolution.Two purchases in December 2021....perfect!!!!!
If I could write a zero star review I would. I stopped going to Adorama about 5 years ago after overhearing one employee threatening to stab another employee in the hand with a pencil. This past weekend, I was at an event in Union Square and had finished up a roll of 120 film and 35mm film and sought to get the film developed. Adorama was in close proximity to Union Square North, so I decided to walk there instead of giving my business to B&H. BIG... MISTAKE.While Adorama looked to be renovated and more modern than I had remembered it, the service was still the same. I walked in at approximately 3:30pm and asked a gentleman if Adorama did film development. He looked at me as though I was nuts and dismissed my inquiry with of course not! I walked away and took a quick peek at the used section. I find the used section to be closer to a Camera Junkyard in terms of what I see, but I saw a black Contarex Super with a 40-120mm lens on it. I put my own Contarex Super (see attached pic) down on the glass-top to look at the black one, and a very pushy young man asked if Id like to see their Contarex. I stated that the Contarex Super I carried was NOT up for trade / sale / bargaining in any way, but I obliged, in large part due to the 40-120mm lens that was mounted to the camera.The young man took out the black Contarex Super that was on display in the used section and proceeded to tell me how rare it is, how it was in great shape and so forth. I took a cursory glance at it, and noticed the top meter switch was missing, the meter itself did not work, the viewfinder was out of whack, and the 40-120mm lens focus BARELY worked (and I mean I had to throw my arm into it, a sign the lens is on the verge of friction welding and becoming destroyed). I informed him of this and he replied that only one person repairs them (this is true, my contarex is on that waiting list for maintenance, but the meter works, all the parts are present, and it takes pictures). Such a camera and lens offered by the young man was NOT in great shape, and I informed him that I was aware of this.At this point, he proceeded to go on about how my camera was museum quality and started to make moves towards my camera. Remember, I had initially stated that the camera I owned was NOT up for discussion in any way. I walked in with my contarex, I was going to walk OUT with my contarex. The young man attempted to take hold of my contarex while it was on the glass top, to which I pulled my camera back and slung it back over my shoulder. At that point, it was obvious that he was trying to do a trade where a fully working Contarex (mine) would be magically traded for a parts camera that happened to have a very rare - but barely functional - zoom lens (a 40-120 Vario-Sonnar). Were I to have not been so watchful of my camera, I could have been left with a bucket of parts and an approximately $2,500 bill in repairs.Allow me to contrast this to my experience at B&H. I walked in, and the gentleman behind the counter saw the Contarex, and as I rested it on the counter, he did not touch the camera, he admitted that B&H does not buy them, and he asked me if he could take a look at the camera as a person who was a fan of Contarexes (and without me even mentioning any desire - or lack thereof - to trade / talk money). This is called RESPECT. It is NOT a bait-and-switch tactic to get better cameras, and it does not put the cameras owner on edge about whether he / she is going to be quick-traded into a bucket of parts. If I had stated to the gentleman at B&H I would like an offer and I was told no, we do not buy them or yes, we do, but I need to evaluate the condition, then fine I am consenting to the camera being examined in the circumstance of the latter answer. Instead, your used camera employee at Adorama took steps to upgrade Adoramas used camera inventory at the possible expense of someone who wanted to see unusual cameras (and had one of his own.)Im disgusted... and I have more, but Google limits my characters. AVOID.
Adorama has questionable quality control and poor customer service. I purchased software from them and after waiting several months for it to be in stock... they conveniently sent me the wrong version. It happens (I guess), but they REFUSED to accept the return and replace it with the correct version. This has resulted in an ongoing credit card dispute for an issue they created. I no longer will do business with them due to the lack of accountability and professionalism. When I order something, I want to receive it as purchased and if a mistake is made; fix it!

I have mixed emotions about Adorama. I’ve had effortless experiences with orders and then I’ve had multiple day ordeals trying to sort out problems with orders. Recently, an item I purchased was mixed up somewhere along the line and ended up being delivered to someone else. I received someone else’s order as well. I immediately reached out to let them know that the item I received was not right but also worth thousands of dollars more than what I ordered. I was trying to be a good person. I received an immediate response to send back the expensive item right away... but also heard back that the item I ordered was now out of stock because what I purchased was used. Their offer was to refund my purchase and I could find a new one at a higher price. That was unacceptable since it wasn’t my fault any of this happened. Instead of just sending me a new item ($80 difference), they wanted me to buy a new item in addition to the used item and wait until they received the returned item I received by mistake to refund me. Again, none of this happened because I made a mistake and I was upfront to let them know all of this stuff happened. After several days of emailing back and forth they finally agreed to send me the item I originally ordered without me fronting more money. Ultimately, when things go right with Adorama, it’s all fine. But when things go wrong, it seems like the customer service team is trained to make the process as labor intensive and stressful as possible. I absolutely dread the moment customer service has to be involved. I don’t think the customer is always right, but wow, Adorama seems to run on the belief that the customer is always wrong.
I would give them an extra star if I could. Ive bought a lot of stuff from them over the years. Quite a few used items too. Customer service is top notch. Their sales folks know their stuff and have never tried to push anything. They can recall information about obscure parts off the top of their head. Ive never set foot in the store and have always ordered stuff to Colorado and Oregon. Packaging and shipping have been top notch. Always shipped promptly and usually free on many items.Heres an example of the all-round excellent service they offered me. I bought a big heavy lens (used) from them. They shipped it to me in a large box with some sort of custom foam enclosure thing to protect the lens. The lens was like new and I paid much less than it costs new. I did not receive the foot which was not part of the description but usually is part of the lens sales. They sent me a replacement lens foot free; shipped to me with two-day shipping after one call with their used sales team.I would highly recommend. If you live in a faraway state call them and chat with them. They answer questions, even stupid ones.
Great experience over the last 4years dealing with Adorama. I have bought new items and dealt with William and Angel in the trade-in dept. they have worked with me flawlessly and have gotten me the most competitive and best trade in prices available.Great experience all around!
I recently bought a 2019 MacBook off this site. The price was incredible and I was super excited to get it. I got same day shipping and had to wait over the weekend. This isn’t unusual and I didn’t mind. However when I received the laptop, it didn’t turn on. I called Adorama and they informed me it was rated X and did not turn on. On the original listing, there was no indication of this. They also told me since it was sold for parts, I can not return it. There goes $800 down the drain. They really need to be more clear about the condition of what’s being sold.

I normally dont post reviews but how Adorama originally handled my order was truly poor customer service.After they officially cancelled my order, I called sales and spoke with Julio to reorder hoping to start over with a clean slate. He noticed I tried placing an order previously so I asked him did Adorama flag my account even though I never set one up. Yes they did. Here we go again. Thankfully Julio found out the reason why a couple days later. Props to Julio and I was able to place my order.My order was flagged and cancelled because I didnt set up an account/register with Adorama. (So I was told) So if you plan on purchasing product from them I would recommend setting up an account to avoid any potential issues, like cancellation of your order. So I asked why would Adorama allow customers to order as guests if they are just going to cancel their order? ....I gave them two more stars because of Julios efforts and I did get what I ordered promptly with no issues shortly after it came back into stock.Previous post: I placed an order on Friday 01/15/21 and later that night I received an email stating my order would be canceled. I called the numbers on the order form and they were closed until Monday. Went back online over the weekend to see if the product was out of stock and it was. Used their online chat to see if they could tell me what was wrong. They couldnt but found out Customer Service was actually open. So I called on Sunday and received absolutely no help. Directed me to call their verification department. So Monday I spoke with someone who tried to help (thank you) but ultimately my order was canceled. Stonewalled as another person said. No explanation as to why, no help with trying to rectify the order, and they even sent a follow up email stating my order was canceled because they did not hear from me and couldnt verify my information. Pretty insulting. No help, no explanation...very poor customer service...in fact there was no customer service. I had to put 1 star to post this but they deserve 0 stars for this situation.
I tried buying a printer months ago at the height of the pandemic. Adorama advertised it online and but it wasn’t in stock. That’s not too surprising, other companies do that, so I figured I would wait it out. Lots of people are buying printers. Today I got an email with subject line stating that my card was declined. When I called customer service, the adorama representative told me it wasn’t that my card has been declined, it was that Adorama no longer had authorization to use my card after all these months. I canceled. I’m done.

First review is in limbo so leaving another.Long story short I emailed Adorama to let them know they had an incorrect price listed on their site. Thought Id save them an unhappy review (like this one). They double checked and told me the price was correct on the guitar. AMAZING!!! Ordered the the guitar and then... A few days later got an auto populated email back stating due to a pricing error your order has been canceled. After I thanked them for wasting my time they offered me an 8%-ish discount on the item which is nowhere close to what they assured me the price was.
Company cancelled my order citing issues verifying my credit card with an automated system. After triple checking the information I gave them and approving the charge to my card, I called them 5 times trying to find an answer to what the problem is so I can remedy it. I was stone walled every step of the way and when someone finally spoke to me they told me that all my information was correct and everything checked out but they still had to cancel my order. They told me to attempt to purchase the product again but the product is something that goes out of stock almost immediately when goes in stock. Im incredibly frustrated with this company. Absolutely shameful and terrible customer service from Adorama.
Avoid Adorama whenever possible. Two of my last three orders have either not shipped or have arrived broken. Both time Adorama tried to claim there was nothing wrong with the order before finally agreeing to replacements. In the most recent return, they accepted my item then refused to mail a replacement or refund me. Now they have my money and my item. During my last call, they claimed to have refunded me despite bank statements showing they hadn’t. Their service team is completely incompetent.Save yourself the headache and go to B&H.
I ordered a used Sony 24-70 f2.8 A-Mount lens and drove 45 minutes to the Adorama retail store to pick it up. I opened the packaging and enclosed was an E-Mount lens with a max aperture of f4.0 that of lesser quality and totally incompatible with my camera!While the website showed (2) units in stock a day earlier, the second unit had been sold and was in transit to another customer. I offered to give Adorama time to obtain a replacement. However, the store manager stated the only thing she could do is issue a refund. Adorama management refused to take ownership for their mistake to ensure that my purchase was fulfilled. I was told that I would have to waste more time checking their website to see if and when they received a unit in stock. Adorama totally dropped the ball and Im disgusted by how much time, gasoline, parking fees and stress resulted from my trip to the store to wind up empty handed. To add insult to injury, Adorama sent an email 12 hours later thanking me for the purchase of the lens I never received (screenshot attached).

I called a week later and was told the laptop would actually come the last week of January. They said I cant cancel the order since its a custom order, which is false, I ordered the basic model of the laptop. They now have sent me an email asking to review their service and recommend it. So I checked my order status and it says my order is complete, except I never received my laptop.I called them again and they say my laptop will arrive the end of March, which they werent going to bother telling me except that I called them to see why my order says its complete.If you look at the same laptop on their site, which they somehow claim is a custom order so they can cheat you out of a refund, it says it will be delivered by January 28th. Except my order from December 28th will only be delivered by the end of March. The exact same laptop.So they didnt tell me my order was delayed, they refused to refund it because of a scam theyre running, and now claim on their website the same laptop can be had in 18 days while mine is expected in two months longer than that (when again I paid extra for one day shipping).So again, I would give negative stars if I could. DO NOT USE THEM! Unreliable and poor service. Use someone else!
I ordered a used battery powered strobe in working but beat up condition. The next day the website shows that my order is cancelled but they are working to fulfill the order. I call that day to understand, the situation, next day I call again and let them know its urgent that my order is filled, I have an outside shoot. I see that they ship my order, not knowing what condition it is in. It arrives and it is an open box but certainly new condition, everything is wrapped like it is from the factory. I am so happy. Instead of letting me hang, they delivered on the order, but delivered a better product that I purchased.Thank You Adorama, I buy a lot of Photo and Video gear, you will see me purchasing from you frequently!
I took a chance and bought two used Canon camera accessories. The flash battery pack was literally 15% of the cost new. The flash, which is the newest model of the series from Canon was about 40% of retail price. My expectations were low for the battery pack and medium for the flash based on grading from the seller. Well, let me tell you, they both look and function like they are brand new. The flash even came in the original box with the accessories still in the factory packing. They work flawlessly. In addition, the package arrived three days earlier than promised.
My first time purchasing with Adorama was fine. There was some disappointment with customer service but after a 3 star review I was contacted, the reason was provided along with more information, and I was asked to change my rating which I did. Most recently I ordered 2 lenses which were the wrong ones, that was my fault, but I wasnt worried because Adorama boasts a great return and exchange policy. I ordered the correct lens and contacted customer service to let them know I was doing an exchange. It has been 2 weeks, they received my returned product 7 days ago, and the new lens has not yet shipped. They also charged me the difference between the products (as expected) but then were short in charging me by 25 cents. I just had to call and pay 25 cents over the phone using my card in order to complete the exchange. Nobody could tell me why this happened. Their website implies that they will process and complete the exchange when you notify them of it but I found they do not begin the process until they receive the returned item, then it takes 3-5 days to process the return before they begin to process the new order which takes 3-5 days (not including weekends or Friday afternoons) and THEN they ship it. I had to cancel a shoot this past Friday because I didnt have the new lens still more than 10 days after notifying them of the exchange despite the 2 to 3 day shipping. I get that I ordered the wrong one and that is my fault but I have never experienced such a difficult and long exchange process since the implementation of online shopping. They also cancelled rather than transferred my lens service plan despite the new lens being 100% eligible for coverage. In the future I will be using B&H when possible from here on out.
I canceled my last order. Have spent thousands with adorama over the years between 3 companies. Was trying to do a simple change because an ad popped up with item $150 less that previous and even though I called before the items were shipped they were not willing to change order although we were able to cancel it. There are other photo dealers in NY that have better customer service. I will stick with them.
Adorama delivered me a completely damaged speaker system. Their quality checks are poor and I won’t recommend this merchandise to anyone. I have ordered two Nikon lenses from Adorama in the last year or so and I am very pleased with their customer service. The lenses, a 200-500 mm Nikon and an 8-15 mm fisheye lens, are super and I love the pictures I get with them. The delivery of each lens was super quick. Adorama is a good company to deal with.
I have been doing business with Adorama for many years, but they lost my business this week. I went online and placed an order for $2400 when I where I was billed $3864. Their customer service reps insist this was only a “pre authorization” while these funds have cleared my bank as of this morning. I have been on the phone with them for two straight days trying to fix this error while being hung up on repeatedly, lied to and told more than once now a supervisor would call me. My bank assures me they will need to issue a credit for their error. I placed a single order online which THEY SPLIT INTO MULTIPLE ORDERS AND OVER BILLED. I am left speechless at this stage because not only am I incredibly disappointed with a company I have depended on for years, but I have zero intentions of donating them the over billed difference on this order. A return phonecall from someone who can actually fix this would have been appreciated.
I don’t recommend buying anything from this company. I purchased a 1TB Micro SD Card and needed to return it, because it wasn’t compatible with my computer system. When I did, they claimed they did not receive the SD Card in the mailed package. So they only refunded me half my money. Funny thing is that I have an actual picture and video of the merchandise going into the package at UPS. Please go to an actual store like Best Buy and purchase an SD Card in person. It makes the return process a lot smoother from a company being dishonest and trying to short change your return.
Purchased an item online that never came and Adorama refuses to issue me a refund.Its been over a month and I am out the full cost of the item. Adorama refuses to make it right and just keeps asking me to wait. Not only did the item I wanted to gift for the holidays never come but Im at a loss for $300. Adorama is telling me tough luck!Maybe in store is okay but dont risk buying online from this store and dont expect customer service to make it right when things go wrong.Edit: Despite contacting me below, I wrote to the provided email and they never responded.Edit 2: After writing to the reply email again I did get a response but they are again refusing to work with me to reach any kind of resolution. I intend to pursue every avenue to either get my order or a refund but at this time Adorama has stolen over $300 from me.
I dont shop at Adorama very often but when I do 60% it is a pretty good experience. However, yesterday I had Ordered a DZO Pictor Zoom 20-55mm lens for store pickup @11:30am for the following day and when the day came it was not at the store and I was told by joy that the truck did not pick me item up to be transferred to the store that day. I tried to see if there was someone else I can speak to online, it was joy AGAIN online as well. I prefer B&H because I have NEVER had a bad experience with them but maybe when I buy expensive things I should stick to B&H.
As soon as I walked in, a security guard started following me. I was so excited to browse and even get a new camera, but her vibe was off and her attitude was pretty unwelcoming. I left immediately after I found out that the camera filter I wanted was not in stock. I wanted to browse for a new camera as well, but because of the security, I just left. Maybe train them not to be rude.
I purchased a Rodecaster Pro bundle online because Adorama’s website said it was in stock. It also said that I received free expedited shipping (1-3 day delivery). Five days went by and I received no package or notice of delivery. I called them on day six inquiring about my order and the associate on the phone told me it was slated for delivery that same day. I waited until day eight to call and check on the delivery status of my purchase because I still received no e-mail notice and on that day I got the same story from another associate, i.e. “it’ll go out today.” Day 10 arrives and I still have no product or notice of delivery; however, my credit card had a pending charge. Thus, I called the company back and the third associate I spoke with said that the item was not in stock. I immediately asked for a refund and the associate spent 20 minutes giving me the run around about that, staying that since the transaction was “pending,” my card won’t be charged if a refund is requested and that I should wait three days for the transaction to cease. As of today, day 12, however, my card now has a fulfilled transaction on it from , not a pending transaction, despite the aforementioned statement by the staff person I spoke to on day 10.
I dont recommend Adorama at all. I bought a shinobi monitor 6 weeks ago, they lost my package and after so many emails, calls and complains, I still keep receiving emails that say we need 10 bussines days to investigate it, it has been like 5 weeks and like 3 emails saying the same thing. Customer service is the worst I have ever seen, they just dont care at all or take things seriously, they just keep saying same things like robots.
Horrible Experience! Wanted to trade in a camera for a different one. I sent them my equipment, they gave me a very low offer. I had to talk to their salesman to see “what he can do for me about the trade price”. They up charged me on the new camera. When I told them I didn’t want to move forward, they avoided my calls and emails and took their time sending me back my equipment. I will never do business again with these scammers!
I purchased a Sigma lens from Adorama when I was in NYC a few months ago, which was a pleasant experience. The sales employee who helped me (William) was businesslike but knowledgeable and helpful. The store is relatively small but clean and certainly not short on merchandise. It makes B&H look like a bit of a zoo, but both are quality stores in their own way.The reason I decided to leave a 5 star review was not because of my first purchase but because of my second one: an online purchase of a Nikon-refurbished D7200. I decided to penny-pinch and chose standard shipping, even though I was cutting it close with my upcoming vacation. The original UPS date of arrival was delayed once (they do seem to have more than the usual issues with UPS), but the camera still arrived in great condition within the stated 10 business days - 2 days before my trip.When I tried to charge the battery, however, it wouldnt charge. I immediately called Adorama and explained my situation to Salvin D, who had sent me a confirmation email for a replacement charger with free overnight shipping almost before I could ask. While they couldnt overnight me a new battery (a UPS restriction), he put me in touch with Nikon support to try to troubleshoot the issue. The charger arrived the next day and solved the issue, and I got to take some great shots on my trip.Thanks for the excellent customer service. Ill be shopping with Adorama again in the future.
I recently tried to purchase cameras for my churchs live stream ministry from Adorama. The salesperson was a pleasure to deal with. She went above and beyond answering any questions I had. I thought I had found the place to do business. However, after placing the order and paying for the items, I received an email stating my order was on hold and would soon be cancelled. This did not bother me as we have recently started our online presence and a lot of our accounts are new. So I called the verification department about my tax exemption qualification. The man was very rude and interrogated me like I was doing something wrong. After answering numerous questions for him I was harshly told there was no. I said so there is absolutely no way to resolve this issue and the man told me no. I decided to email the company and see if there was any way we could get this issue resolved. They sent back a letter letting me know that my order had been cancelled and that I would receive my money back in 5 business days. I am sure this is an awesome company as long as you dont have to have tax exemption verification. If so I would definitely go somewhere else. Again, the salesperson was a delight to work with and it is a shame the entire company is not like her.
Do not buy here! Especially do not waste extra funds on a warranty extension! Cable to brand new camera defective. Despite even paying extra for an extended warranty, all you get is a snotty response with the manufacturers phone-number. This will be my first and last experience with ADORAMA!
You can trust that you will get the best product at the best price. You can also trust that they will get your delivery there on time and do all they can to make sure. They do a great job of explaining your product options (and sales). I purchased over the phone and was thrilled with everything!
This review is for international buyers only, while they do have a huge selection with reasonable prices, their customer service and shipping services for international customers are outright horrible.I had ordered some equipment for the office a few weeks ago, they shipped it to the wrong place, by that i mean they shipped it to another country altogether. now after 1 month of haggling with their less than competent customer service reps, they are offering to recall the shipment back to its origin but they want to charge me for shipping and other expenses incurred to them. I find that completely unreasonable and i am planning to forward the case to consumer protection. i sincerely hope nobody has to go through such unpleasantness.
The customer service at Adorama is terrible. Prior to going to the store, I contacted the store to find out if a certain item was in stock. The item was available and I was told it would be placed on hold until end of day. When I arrived to the store, I was told that the item was sold out and nothing was placed on hold for me. I asked to speak to the manager to voice my concerns. I spoke to Manager by the name Heather. As mentioned, I voiced my concerns to Heather and in return, Heather rudely told me that there was nothing that she can do. I ignored her attitude and decided to make another purchase. As I was being rang out by sale associate Vincent, Heather came to me and said I SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED IN THE STORE ANYMORE and walked away with no explanation. Racial discrimination is prohibited on all levels and I vow to never purchase from Adorama again. I ended up immediately returning the items I purchased and walked out the store.
Andorama gave me the worst run around ever, when all I was trying to do was simply try to use my payment method to put an order in for a back ordered canon printer. I was on the phone alllll day on March 25, back and forth. I even went as far as psychically going to a store just to have my card on file for purchase and still a total waste of my time. I’m extremely angry and truly let down by this company and their lack of respect and lack of help towards there customers.
I have ordered three different times from Adorama and have had excellent experiences each time. The product arrives well packaged and undamaged. I have had to make two returns due to not needing the product and they are so easy to work with. The return process is wonderful. I highly recommend Adorama.
Can someone please help us?! We purchased a drone from Adorama. The drone keeps having signal error, so we contacted the manufacturer who informed us the drone is defective. We then contacted Adorama for a replacement. We packed the drone carefully with lots of buffer materials and sent it back. The next thing we knew is that Adorama claims that we sent an empty box. We tried to contact them many times and ask them to look through the package carefully because the drone is in there. Weve tried to call so many times, and every time the agent would say someone will call us within 24 hours. However, weve never received any phone calls. We tried to call again today, the agent told us someone will give us a call in 30-60 minutes. Again, no one ever called us. I dont understand why they keep avoiding us.We asked them to please provide a photo of the box so that we can point to them where we placed the drone, but they declined to do so. We make purchases on Amazon regularly, and occasionally would also return items, but weve never experienced any incidents like this before. Now, we dont even know who to ask for help. They misplaced the item, and now they are asking their customer to pay for their own mistake. Not only is Adorama unreliable, but it keeps playing tricks on its customer. I truly dont understand. I bought a lens for a mirrorless camera. Their customer service rep sent me a link to the wrong mount converter. I paid for express shipping and errything too. But when I realized it was the wrong mount converter, they did nothing to help the situation. Basically, their customer service is like a vending machine, slow, limited and usually very frustrating, making it very difficult to get what you paid for and usually ends up in kicking something. After getting a level 2 c.s. rep, I told her I might take my money somewhere else and her response was, Good you should do that. Wack business practice. So I lost the money for shipping, had to spend time sending back a useless mount and look for the correct mount on my own all because of bad customer service. They just lost my money, my friends money, and possibly the money of anyone who gives a toot about this review. Bummer.
DO NOT USE ADORAMA!!! I placed a camera on hold with a customer service rep (have all of it in writing) and I would break my payments into two. Final payment being April 24, 2020. I called to make the payment and they informed me my order had been cancelled and no longer available even though they took the camera I placed on hold off the website. He stated they put the camera back on the website and someone else bought it and received it 3 days ago. I asked the rep to send me to their manager and he hung up on me. This company is unprofessional and did not seem to care. Once I was finally connected to a “manager” (the customer service rep sounded like the exact same person once I was transferred to the manager) he told me there was nothing he could do. I ordered the camera I wanted from B&H Photo. Great customer service and I got the camera for a lower price with a lower shutter count! If you do order from Adorama be cautious..
Service has declined notably. Sent a used item to trade since i do not feel comfortable yet coming into the store. Acknowledged receipt of it but in over a week no store credit toward purchase. Did not respond to multiple emails or phone call. There are much better alternatives and remember, the price on most gear is the same everywhere due to manufacturer agreements. And a lousy store with minimal display. All in all, a redundant business which would not be missed if it disappeared.
Ordered something online. Claims the order was returned to them. They gave me a different tracking number than what was shown on the order. Upon checking this order. It never even left Elizabeth NJ. Poor customer service. Will be sure to let everyone know about my experience.
Adorama likes to scam customers by allowing you to buy out of stock items on their website without telling you said items are out of stock. I bought a projector that was supposed to arrive a week later then received an email 5 days after I placed my order saying the projector was backlogged “indefinitely.” If that was the case they shouldn’t have sold me the projector in the first place...don’t waste your time
Mostly unpleasant experience in this tiny space; rude workers and managers. Do not buy anything there; go buy at B&H the big and superb store in every way, instead. B&H has many many items, honest, sincere, and they take care of you/Customers with respect way way much better. Oh, only one old male worker in the waiting line before casher, was super kind.. thats all among other cold rude mannered workers.
My order arrived as expected. I ordered a used camera body in E condition, and a lens in E+ condition. Rating of these items was spot on, items were packaged appropriately, and equipment functions flawlessly. I have absolutely no issues with this order, and would order again from Adorama in a heartbeat.
Dont go here and apply for credit. The site doesnt work and they will make you go thru hoops to get it fixed to just be told you have to wait 5 days to get help. They tell you to contact the credit company only to have them tell you to contact Adorama. Felt like a ping pong!UPDATE! After reaching out to someone in upper management I finally got my issued fixed. Unfortunately for Adorama I went to their competitor and purchased what I needed. I would say 24 hrs is the maximum time a customer should have to wait for a solution. I hope that maybe this incident is reviewed and looked at for improvement opportunities as this problem not corrected may lead to a decline in sales. I will leave my one star rating because I had to waste time reaching someone to help me and it still took more than 5 days.
Purchased a camera/printer bundle from Adorama when they were offering a mail-in rebate for roughly 40% back. Practically sent the entire product packaging since I cut off anything resembling a UPC, SKU, barcode, etc from the boxes to ensure the rebate requirements were satisfied. Followed up a couple of months later and am told that my rebate was denied due to missing receipt/documentation, which was 100% false. I was then mocked by customer service in their response to the BBB that I was “just upset because he missed the deadline”. Avoid this scam, much better options out there.
I was having difficulty with my order being delivered by UPS. I called Customer Service with Adorama and had a wonderful service representative Erin R. willing to ship me replacement order. However, within a couple days the original showed up by UPS delivering it making a replacement order not necessary. Great Customer Service. thanks, Kristian M.
This is my first time experience and I am a pretty discriminating customer. They communicated frequently, shaped my expectations and then exceeded them tremendously. If Adorama remains dedicated to customer service in the way that i experienced, they will be my first stop for online electronics shopping from now on!
I ordered a $1500 camera. When i got it, it did not work. I talked to Adorama and they told me to contact Olympus first to see if its actually broken. Great, I spend more time calling Olympus who spends 5 minutes with me and tells me it sounds defective and I should call the place I bought it from. Or I can send it to them and wait for it. So i called Adorama back and they sent me a UPS label to return it. I sent it out the very same day and its a week later that it gets to them. Now i have to wait 2-3 more days before a replacement is shipped out. So maybe, 2 weeks after I ordered it will I get a working Camera.Also the Chat agent (they only have one, or I am lucky enough to get the same guy every time) is not overly responsive. Very short and not overly free with information. I will see how this turns out, but not sure i will order from Adorama again.

OMG! Great service! They didnt have exactly what I was seeking, but their Great Customer Service and Informative Agents did a marvelous job at getting me something 97% close to what I was after, and that was fabulous because I actually ended up liking it more than what I initially wanted! And I also got a bunch of expensive stuffs for freeeeeeee!!! I dont know about yall, but when I hear FREE, my heart skips a beat! 🥰
I was a little skeptical about buying from them for the first time, seeing various other reviews, but I gave it a shot and I’m so happy with my experience. From the order process to the delivery, everything was timely and I had no complaints. My purchases came in perfect condition, packaged well, and delivered on time. Best price on new and used gear period; plus most importantly I have complete confidence and trust in adoramas condition grading on used items they tend to lean on the stringent side of things so my used gear purchases always arrive in better condition than I expected. Shipping is lightning fast, packages typically arrive on time or early. As with any retailer over the course of many orders the likelyhood of a mistake occurring from time to time increases so if & when this happens the customer service is 110% and the resolution is fast and easily handled by any one of the several modes of contact they offer. I highly reccomend adorama for anyone needing to purchase any type of photo, video or audio equipment whether youre a pro or beginner, new or used, adorama stands behind everything and are happy to answer any questions you might have either before you buy or after the orders been placed. I did a trade in with Adorama , spoke with the rep he promised me that my payment will arrive to my house on a Monday. It was shipped out almost a week ago still no sign of the check for my trade in. Called in to see if they can just direct deposit me the money because the site clearly says that it does but the rep refuse to do so. Never trading in my products ever again.
Always great prices and equipment you can trust to have been meticulously tested and packed before shipping out. Im always happy with my experience, so I keep coming back. Customer service is top notch and always very helpful. Between the new and the used inventory, you too will find something that you need, and you will be happy with the price youll pay also.
On-time delivery and great customer service. They kept me posted by email on the order and delivery status from the time I ordered until it arrived. When the lens arrived, I wasnt sure it was working correctly, called Adorama, the man I spoke with was very helpful and gave me the tech support number for the manufacturer, assuring me they would stand behind the lens if it turned out to be defective. I called, got some helpful info, and so far, it now seems ok. If not, I feel confident that Adorama will refund or replace it.
Each time Ive ordered from Adorama, their shipping speed has disappointed me. Despite their claims of same-day shipping, it typically takes them three days to actually send a package. So even when they offer free expedited 1-3 day shipping, it takes a week to receive the item. Ive had the same issue when Ive paid for overnight shipping. To their credit, they did refund the shipping fee in that instance. Still, I probably wont order from them again.
Best Place for your Camera shop needs!I love Adorama, I think they have the best customer service, and best price. I usually call Dan or Danny from there customer service. He’ll work with you to find you the best deal possible! I stopped using amazon and B&H photo the day I found out about Adorama. I been there customer for 3 years now, if there’s a problem with your order, they’ll work with to get that fix. I recommend them!Thank you for all your help Adorama and Danny.
Nikon Z6 and lens kit plus the Pro Accessory kit was a great buy. Shipping was stated to be 7-10 business days, but paring the weekend and holiday away, it arrived in 4 business days, which is amazing still, considering the state of exhaustion that all shippers must feel immediately after Christmas. All arrived as promised and in great condition. Tripod and cable was dropped at the houses front porch, but the big box with camera, lens, strobe, etc., required a signature, so after chasing around between the remote alternate delivery site and the dispatch terminal, I had my Christmas goodies package to open the next morning, and, man, Adorama is awesome, and the Z6 and 24-70 f/4 S is OUT-OF-SIGHT!
Worst experience. Purchased an item over the phone with jimmy and was told the item would be available on the same day. I get there the next day and the item is not available. I traveled a hour one way to get to the location. Very disappointed. Won’t be recommending or referring anyone to this store again!
Purchased some film lights online. Website said plenty of stock...and pick up next day at noon. Called store 10 times got hung up on 9 times. Order went from 1. backordered to 2. needs to come from warehouse to 3. need to order from manufacturer to 4. full order being cancelled. In the end I waited 2 weeks and made lots of calls and got no updates or products or any sort of backup resolution. avoid this company they treat customers like animals and dont honor orders.
Well, it was a bit of a drama but we got there in the end. Ordered 10x Transcend 16GB SD Cards off Adorama in late April, and at the end of July I still hadnt seen them so I left terrible feedback on Google. There was a response from Nancy Miller, and after contacting here I got the goods in less than 2 weeks (Good considering Im in New Zealand and the company is in New York). Happy to get my products, and happy with the quality, VERY happy with the price, but the customer service needs working on for online sales.
There was a delay shipping the item, after contacting Adorama via Google maps comment Nancy reached out to investigate the issue and work to a resolution. They helped make it better and Im happy with what they explained. Not a 5 star experience since it shouldnt have happened in the first place but they worked to fix the problem and provided feedback to me which made me understand and feel better about my experience.
I ordered a couple of expensive filters from these guys (just over US$400). They shipped to my address in Portland, OR with UPS next day signed for service, but before they could be delivered, the sender (Adorama) requested UPS to return to sender. This is evident on the UPS tracking report. 2 weeks later after payment and no delivery, I am out still of pocket. Adorama say they can only refund once the items are returned to them. Several sessions with their CS people but no refund yet. I guess they will eventually get their packages returned by UPS and hopefully they will then refund me. Will not buy from this outfit again. I dont think they are honest people. Never experienced anything like this with Amazon.
We personally have never had a problem with Adorama. We purchase through the internet. Yes they have holiday closures. You order/work around the closures or order somewhere else that is convenient to you. We have purchased thousands of dollars worth of cameras, lenses and other camera gear as well as other items from Adorama.. Not one problem. And as far as price matching is concerned..... all you need to do is ask. Just saved $100.00 on an item because of price matching! Waiting for its arrival at this time. We live on the west coast and all purchases have arrived in perfect condition. What more can you say............
Ordered an Xbox Series X from Adorama, as they had advertised they had one in stock. I ordered from Adorama due to Amazon screwing up Preorders and overselling what they had in stock.Adorama stated on their site, and on their order receipt that their product was in stock and will be shipped immediately, some minor accessory/ies are not in stock and will ship as soon as it arrives..I reached out to customer support for clarification, and they said that they had none in stock, and that we merely paid for a reservation, for whenever they do come back in stock in late December or into next year.Then why advertise you have it in stock and are shipping asap on your site and receipts?Seems to be very dishonest.
Adorama took good care of me. I found out after I placed an order that they had closed for a holiday just minutes before, and my order would not go out for a couple more days. To accommodate my needs, at no extra cost they offered to ship my order at a higher priority so that it arrived as if the order had gone out on time. I greatly appreciate that!
In short.. stay away from Adorama. I have used them several times, had no issues before as I did not have to go through the return process.. but this time ... oh god... nightmare.Purchased $2500 camcorder, It was defective, so returned it. Problem is I only received partial refund $2200, as they claimed I did not return some of parts which I returned and their system shows it.. Talked to several people/manager, one manager finally understand my situation and told me that he will request/process full refund, then later another email received from another person that and they can not.It seems their system is so messed up. Stay away from Adorama if you want piece of mind. It has been a month going back and force with Adorama on this... nightmare..
I bought a GoPro 8 combo on Adorama last week. It came very fast. But it sent me the wrong one. I choose a GoPro 8 with 3 batteries with dual charger. But it sent me a GoPro 8 with only 2 batteries with dual charger. Although, it revised the payment to be 10 bucks cheaper. But now I need to spend a extra 20 bucks to get the third battery.08/21/2020Update: I got the extra battery 2 days later. I think Adorama has a good customer service. Nancy has contact me very fast. This misunderstanding happens because of the order number. I think Adorama may need to write clearly in their email and receipt when a backorder situation happens.
I have been a customer with Adorama for many years. Just purchased a VIP360 accidental damage protection plan for my new Sony camcorder. This weekend my briefcase containing multiple items was run over. They refuse to cover and say that it was not an accident. No help from anyone. I cant imagine that a company would lose a customer over this. Especially, after purchasing the insurance. They have been my first choice for purchasing telescopes, cameras, and various other telescope optics. They have lost my business.I was contacted by Adorama and they said that they would not help and agreed with New Leaf. By the way, New Leaf eventually agreed that it was an accident and they are going to cover the repairs or replacement. This was done with no help from Adorama.
I purchased two items from Adorama and tacked on $8 for 3-5 business day shipping. They completed my checkout only to send me an email saying both items I ordered were currently out of stock but would be shipped as soon as possible. I just dont understand why any company would wait to inform a customer about their products being out of stock until after the customer has already gone through the entire checkout process. Why would they let me pay for 3-5 business day shipping if they cant deliver in 3-5 business days?

2022-02-04This is the most frustrating online purchase Ive ever made.On December 23, 2021, I finally received my long-awaited package. Did not expect to receive a damaged box. I am concerned that the earphones in the box will be damaged. I took a video when I opened the box. Omg, didnt expect it to be an empty box when I opened it. I quickly contacted customer service and sent photos and video to Adorama and UPS. UPS sent the claim report to Adorama on January 24, 2022. But Adorama did not email me until February 3, 2022, denying my claim. I waited 43 days and received a reply from Adorama denying the claim. Did I pay $600 for a broken empty box? No, I bought a broken dream Westone W80 - V3 headphones and regretted the Adorama.

2022-01-21Package shows up 4 days later than scheduled delivery. Box is beat up torn open and taped over by presumably ups but I suppose it could have been sent like this. The package is missing the main item. Now adorama is telling me I have to wait for ups to finish their investigation before anything else can proceed. This may take up to ten days. THIS IS AN ISSUE BETWEEN ADORAMA AND UPS LEAVE ME OUT OF IT AND SEND ME WHAT I ORDERED. I have bought thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from this place in the last year alone and this is how I get treated.Customer service is a joke. The first person I was e-mailing regurgitated the info on ups website over and over and over as I was trying to at least go pick up the package that was 3 days late at that time.The second series of e-mail, the person never even read the actual issue and had no idea that I was missing an item after 7 hours of back and forth e-mails. This person wanted me to send back an EMPTY box.This has been the most frustrating online purchase I have ever made.This company refuses to even update me with what is going on. I have sent at least 15 unanswered e-mails today.

2022-03-02I decided to move from my Sony a68 crop sensor to a full frame camera. I have been a Sony user for years and wanted to stick with them. After searching, reading reviews, watching YouTube videos, and reading comments, I finally decided on the Sony a7III. I have done business with Adorama before and was very pleased, so I checked their selection of used cameras (more in my budget), plus B&H, KEH, eBay and Amazon. There were some good deals on eBay, but many did not offer returns and few mentioned warranty. I called the used department at Adorama and was given great customer service, and they patiently let me ask all the questions. They have grades for their cameras from new, open box, Excellent+, Excellent, Excellent-, and so on. I decided to buy a Sony a7III rated as E, excellent, and at a good price. Not the lowest price I had found, but very close considering they have a 30-day money back and a 6 month guarantee. The camera arrived, and I cannot tell it was ever used! It doesnt have a scratch, bruise, or anything to show it was ever used. The only thing that verified it wasnt new was the shutter count was 2078. What a great deal! If you are looking for camera gear, I suggest you look at Adorama.

2022-04-21Received an empty box with a piece of plastic when I ordered a scanner. They made me return their useless piece of plastic and empty box. I shipped it back to their warehouse and now they’re telling me that the plastic needs to be inspected before I get credit back. It’s been a week since they received their piece of junk back and they still have not given me a refund. I urge everyone to stay away from here. Especially online orders. I cannot speak for in person purchases but do not shop here online. They are horrible. I literally just paid over $120 to get an empty box and my time wasted.

I was helped by Michelle with finding a lantern soft box for my godox v1 and she also helped me choose the correct adapter to use. She was friendly and helpful from beginning to end and most importantly she was knowledgeable on how to use each product. Absolutely a great experience. I don’t mind going out of my way to shop at Adorama because I know I always leave the store with peace of mind. 2022-07-2010 days to receive an in stock item when I live within 10 miles of the store? My how far Adorama has fallen.Adorama now is back down to the bottom of my list behind Unique Photo, Best Buy, Amazon and B&H. Not only has it taken them days to ship something that they said is in stock they are trying to blame UPS claiming that somehow the product that is on its way really isnt and it is a UPS paperwork thing.
