During a pandemic our lives are altering and limiting against previous good planning and intentions. Thus are challenges affecting a small-space store having served best as an in and out auto retail.If patrons are heading here, they may be ready to buy and go, considering skipping the browsing and comparing products. The Auto Advance branch here is a lesser customer capacity than other outlets.An easy answer is renovation if within the corporate budget and landlords permission. I wont suggest or urge such an option and acknowledge not knowing the full details the managers are aware.The concern, unfortunately, are the possible differculties maintaining safe distances presenting during busy hours. I believe the staff are performing their best. However, they unquestionably face some uneasy decisions and adjustments to further protect themselves and their customers.
Called at 730 on a Sunday to ask a question about ordering online and picking up in the store. The male who answered the phone did not say hello, did not say anything about the store, but simply ‘we are closing’. Upon stating that we just had a simple question, he said to us, ‘I can’t look anything up for you the computers are off and I’m counting the register’. Upon stating that we have a question that most likely wouldn’t involve the use of a computer he stated again they were closed. We said we would call back tomorrow. So rude and and we will not be purchasing the parts for my cars break job here due to the lack of customer service received. Would have been better if he didn’t answer the phone.
Would give 0 if I could. Went there to buy 2 items took 5 minutes to ring up. They were scan items off the shelf. Should have taken 1minute most. Then man proceeds to not give correct change. When I mentioned it to him he should have said Im sorry I made a mistake. He would have been forgiven. Instead he complains about the me in to another salesperson. Wont be back
I’m broken down on the side of the road and need to ask a quick question about a part I just bought from this location and was placed on hold three individual times . I wasnt sure if we were getting disconnected or being hung up on .until the third time I heard the phone hang up deliberately because it didn’t hang up right away so I heard the phone shuffle until I was disconnected.. my mother began to cry as cars are flying past us waiting for the tow truck . We needed a few details about a part that was recently sold to me for my vehicle.. I am a lawyer not a mechanic and feel totally disregarded at such a delicate time .
BE AWARE OF THEIR RETURN POLICY. Apparently theyre the only store in the us that does not accept anything back. Bought an electrical item(isnt 80% of every car electrical?),went back the next day to return it since i didnt need it. The sales person said i couldnt return cause it was electrical and to talk to the manager,I asked if i could speak with him,he said no manager in today. What about assistant manager?,nope no one here that can help you,they come in at 5 PM,so come back then. The store has no management for 8 hours?!,NEVER heard of that. I asked for DM info so i can share my feedback with him,We are not allowed to give you his name or number. you can call the 1800 maybe they will help you.....TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE. NOT COMING BACK NOR BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN!.
Kassim, the manager at this store has the worst attitude towards customer service that I have ever encountered. Whomever decided that he is management material is sorely mistaken. He lacks the knowledge to address your questions and frankly is not interested in your concerns. Shop elsewhere!
THE GUY MANAGER IS IGNORANT AND RUDE. HE THINKS HE IS A BIG SHOT. HE WAS ACTING LIKE A KING. I BOUGHT BRAKES AND PADS ONLINE AND WENT THERE TO PICKUP. MANAGER WAS ON THE PHONE AND I WAS WAITING IN THE LINE AND THIS IGNORANT ASKED ME ‘WHAT IGOT’ WHAT THAT REALLY MEAN??? I AM CUSTOMER GIVE CUSTOMERS SOME RESPECT AND ASK THEM ‘HOW CAN I HELP THE NEXT CUSTOMER OR GUEST. NOT WHAT YOU GOT. I WILL RETURN THIS DEFINITELY AND WONT BUY FROM ADVANCE AUTO NEVER AGAIN.
They sent me the advance auto parts that is located in the suffolk, where they gave me the help in the best way very very well satisfied bo they had the part in that car parts then they sent me to this one. They were some front discs for a BMW 2002 and had already bought some in auto zone but they did not stay the height was very different. Then I went to this auto part and they had the same ones. I told them about the problem I had with these and they helped me get the right ones I do not know how they were but they were followed I am very happy with them I almost did not buy in this auto part but with this they won me as a client. In addition, I was eager to spend so much money to the dealer of the BMW 5 stars for that. 100% recommended by DJ TEMERARIO my friend you know that I always recommend the best regards to my friend from LONG ISLAND.

2022-04-13This rating is really based on the online experience. They say next day but it wasnt, more like 3 days. Then to make matters worse. Missing parts in delivery of over $500. And that took another week for them to figure it out. So much for making plans to get work done.

2022-04-08The employees of this store need some training. They have the nerve to answer the phone instead of helping customers in front of them waiting. As if the person calling is more important than someone IN the store in person.They also cant give change properly. The kid who will probably be working there for the rest of his life couldnt even count out my change correctly, not to mention he gave me all dimes and 5 singles.I dont blame him too much. Problems like this start at the top. Place needs new management.

2021-09-241 star because they had everything I needed and there was not much wait. The 1 item I bought was windshield wiper blades.However when I got to my car I looked at receipt and noticed. 5 cent bag fee when I did not get a bag. Then I notice $1.49 replacement fee for wipers. Salesperson never asked me if I wanted that. I was going to let the $0.05 bag fee go but when I saw the $1.49 fee I went back in the store. He said he asked for my phone number so I guess I was supposed to know that means hes charging me a replacement fee. Even when I was picking out the blades I told him its for the rear which we never use but it needed to be replaced to pass the inspection. You would think anyone with a brain would think since customer is looking for a cheap blade maybe they dont want a replacement fee. I need brakes for another car and I will not purchase them at this store or ever step in the store ever again. Plenty of other auto parts stores around.

2021-10-13I had a young man...VERY TALL lol I believe his name was Andrew, help me install wiper blades on my car & I was EXTREMELY impressed with his kindness and professionalism! He is an asset to their company....its so nice to see such a young man with manners do his job with pride! I will definitely keep coming back because of him!

2021-11-07If there was an option for 0 stars I would definitely chose it, I went by earlier with my dad who only speaks Spanish to get something for the car and the employee named “Anthony” started giving nasty attitude. He knew my dad didn’t speak English and he still continued to speak English to my dad knowing damm well he speaks and understands Spanish. Very terrible costumer service. Definitely not going back. And I do not recommend.

2021-11-14Advanced Auto is very good business. Advanced Auto gave me a $10 store gift card for and old car battery. This company is one , that recycles car batteries. This is probably great for the U.S. economy. This action probably helps the Planet Earth stay healthy.
