This is a good store, nice deals especially on oil change, the workers are well mannered, always willing to help.
Very friendly customer service, I bought some wipers and wiper fluid and the clerk changed them for me. His demeanor was quite pleasant.
Courteous, knowledgeable, prompt service. Within 5 minutes, youre in, then youre out. Its quick efficient service.
Staff at this location is hit or miss. Some are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but some not so much. If youre not confident in the advice youre getting from a specific rep, ask to speak to someone else. Youll be happy you took the extra few minutes to save yourself from wasting money on unnecessary parts.

Just one person working, poor guy the cashier and also putting out merchandise. While there was 8 clients needing help.
I asked the employee for a price check. Befire hevscanbed the item on the H11B bulbs he told me the rate is $106. The item prices $51 twin pack online. When i showed him the price online he laughed and said it was just a joke
Parts here cost less than the same exact parts sold by the car dealership.Then this shop let me borrow the tools i needed to change the part on my car.

2022-03-06Excellent service. Very professional and friendly. I came here to ask questions about a battery for my car. The dealership tried to charge me an outrageous price and made me feel like I had to get it from them because it was a special battery. I got it here for almost half the price and they installed it for me. I will definitely go back there if I need something for my vehicles.

2020-12-15I went there for a replacement alternator. They offered the better price and warranty than other local competitors. The return of the core went smoothly and I would buy from them again provided the price is right.

2020-02-08Had an issue with a bad battery. Ms Shanna assisted me in allowing me tools and checking my battery. After researching that I did by a battery that was under warranty, I removed the battery only to have Ms Shanna informed me that this was another brand not their brand. I come to this store often (have a few cars) and constantly buy parts. The battery i purchased here was for my sons car and my son bought me a battery from their competitor. None the less, their assistance with all my other issues have always been outstanding, so I just want to say thanks for a great job anyway!!!

2021-11-01There is always a problem. errors in the parts, excessive delays in delivery, they sell mostly Chinese parts and high prices. It is my last option when I need something. Advance sucks.

2020-11-19I initially went to Advance Auto Parts to pick up a bottle of Marvel Mystery Oil for my moms 2010 Honda Odyssey LX. I had noticed that the car was idling slow, lights were dimming, etc., I like to get batteries tested each year to make sure they are behaving and will make it through the Winter. Shamar did a battery test on the car, and it passed (batt and alternator). I went back to pay for my items, and when I returned, I had a dead battery.I was stuck there, and bought a Diehard Gold 24F; a good battery for a basic minivan with high reserve capacity and good cold cranking amps. Shamar installed the battery (which admittedly was a pain because Minivans are tight), and made sure all the battery connections were properly tightened and had sufficient anti-corrosive oils on them to prevent corrosion build-up. Shamar did an excellent job, and he is an asset to Advance in Lawrence.Thank You.

2016-09-23Love coming to this place and the reason for that is, John. John is a knowledgable guy, has an answer for you immediately for any of your concerns along with an explanation as to why that oil, part, or labor is necessary for your car. Whether in person or via phone he has gone above and beyond to help me and has gone the extra mile to install a piece I had just purchased, with out even asking him to. I would still recommend to stop by in person as he does get bombarded with a ton of questions as a elaborate as he is to make sure you get an adequate response he may take a while and may place you on hold for a while over the phone. Dont get me wrong its not just about John the prices are not so bad either, I own a 2003 BMW 525i and nothing is cheap for this vehicle, but this place sure has helped me save a buck or two. However the store is a reflection of the people who work it and that begins with individuals like John.
