This is the worst Advance Auto Parts Ive set foot in. The employees are fine, they are nice and usually helpful and honest. The issues come from this store being understaffed. Every time I am there it takes way to long to get checked out and every time I call there is either no answer or I am put on hold for 10+ minutes. The owner of this establishment should be embarrassed. I have pretty much given up on this place and have now been going across the street to the AutoZone....its much better there even though they seem just as busy.

I came in here because (Im a slacker) and I had 3 different lights out on my Jeep, so I stopped in to buy them all so I can finally fix them. They lady behind the counter was AMAZING! I walked in and didnt even need to ask for help! She was right there asking what I needed so I told her. She went right over to the isle, found all the lights I needed and then while she was ringing them up, she wrote on the package which lights went where!!! I wish I got her name, but I didnt. Anyway, I highly recommend! (Oh, and all my lights work now! Yay!)

Went in with bad battery, Asked for a new battery, ran over n grabbed a couple of 1156 lcds, returned to parts counter where new battery was waiting. Paid up. Grabbed my goods n out the door I went. Duh !! Friendly and well educated staff !!

About two months ago I bought a package of signal bulbs and some liquid that goes on the end of the bulb before you put it back in. I was told by sales guy it help the bulbs last longer im not for sure what the liquid is called. At the time I only had one signal bulb out but I decided to change both since the package came with two bulbs.Well two months went one signal bulb went out then the other one went out. I called the store and spoke with a sales person I explained what happened. He told me just bring the bulbs back with the recipe and he will replace them. I told him that I didnt have recipe but that Im in the computer he said thats fine he will look it up when I get there.When I got there it was the easiest exchanged the bulbs were replaced with no charge.

Good place for parts..stick with moog and spicer for your front end gear and driveline parts..DO NOT BUY A GREASE GUN HERE...THEYRE NOT GOOD...go to the Salina st, west genesee, cicero or teall Ave store...dont bother going to the Onondaga Blvd store.that one reminded me why I go to auto zone for parts and only go to advance auto as a last resort

New Store manager is trying to turn the place around. sometimes have problems not have some parts I may need. also make sure the part you get is the right one! prices are high on parts but are more than willing to price match beat other big name stores. Upset they stopped price matching online companys. customer service is good at this location cant say that about some of the other locations Fairmount!

The staff are some of the nicest and best informed people Ive had the pleasure of working with. I am on a first name basis with Joe (the GM) as well as others on site. They never have a problem suggesting ideas or fixes for my 79 rx-7 or my 83 Celica. Excellent place to shop, and I chose this store over every other in the area. I go here first.

The prices are decent. They are a bit unprofessional. They dont acknowledge that you are even standing there. They need to do better job hiring people/sales representatives to represent the company. These guys there arent as knowledgeable as you would think. They dont seem to care. But... What can you expect from someone who may not be paid well. Cause I bet they would work harder for that money.
