Advance dermatology was a great experience. I am a new patient and the staff greeted me nicely. I didnt have to wait to long to be seen. When I was seen by Dr.Maria was patient and kind. She didnt rush me and she listened to the issue I was having. Again, the staff was amazing. So nice. You want to feel like your doctor office actually takes the time to answer your questions and feel welcomed.
My son received an invoice that seemed high so I tried to reach the billing department. After multiple unanswered calls to the billing department and no way to leave a message I called the dermatologist office and they were not able to reach the billing office either and could not answer my questions .It would make me question whether my son should return to that office. Very poor customer service and way too expensive.
New patient who was late to be seen by 30 mins. Once seen the staff did not have the reason for my visit provided to them and I was told there was not sufficient time to undertake the reason for my visit. Not a great introduction to this practice and my time completely wasted.
I had the brand new Vivibody treatment on my abdominal area with Kate and I am in awe of my results! I lost two complete inches on my midsection from ONE treatment. Kate was absolutely amazing and extremely knowledgeable about all of the services provided. I will definitely be back as I am getting more sessions of the Vivibody fat blaster and Kate is going to do a microdermabrasion facial on me as she said it will help with my fine lines and wrinkles! This place does it all!
Staff is very courteous, respectful, and friendly. PA Chris Byrne is very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes his time and is patient, which says a lot.
I haven’t been to a dermatologist in 18 months as I could no longer see my previous dermatologist because of insurance reasons. I was thinking I would be getting full body screen/checkup but that wasn’t the case. I was informed afterwards by my daughter that a full body exam would be done in a totally separate appt. I thought I should’ve been told that when I made the appt no? I waited over an hour and was in and out of the examining room in 5 min. I asked PA to pls check my head and face and neck closely, which she did.
I had 3 appointments with Dr. Yan Jin. She is patient and considerate of her patients. Now my acne is under control, I am very grateful to Jin Yan. Clinics can make appointments online or by phone which is very convenient.!Every staff is very friendly, Very recommended!
To be honest, I was disappointed with my visit with PA Christopher Byrne. I felt brushed off as he only looked at my spots & scalp for a nano-second (and these are concerning to me). I wanted him to address several of my cysts but he only took care of one. I felt defeated when I left as I didnt feel enough time nor empathy was given.
Leah was amazing! She made my daughter feel so comfortable. She was kind and gentle.
Going here for a year trying all creams nothing worked last resort Doctor said is to do a biopsy so we have a definitive answer, guess what no answer. And I have a scar. Not okay.
From start to finish I had an amazing experience. The staff is super upbeat and friendly, and the office is super clean. Dr. Friedman was excellent. She was very welcoming, informative and gave me a great all around screening. She answered all my questions and was super sweet. I would definitely recommend this practice to everyone. Great dermatologist.

I started going here a few months ago based off of all the good reviews and they were all right. I see Dr.Eve and she’s incredible! She has helped my skin and confidence so much and I am so grateful. Would definitely recommend 10/10.
My 2 daughters and I love Dr.Lori! She listens and explains everything to you with a kind and respectful tone never rushed. The staff at the Bellmore office is always friendly and accommodating, Our wait time has never been more then 10 mins. Honestly we highly recommend the office and Dr. Lori Friedman.
Excellent experience from start to finish! The ladies at the desk and the doctor were all fantastic, polite, and very lovely to deal with. Took care of everything quickly and professionally. Had to reschedule my initial appointment due to the blizzard and they were totally accommodating and understanding. Will definitely be returning! Sending everyone I know here.

The medication prescribed to me is making my condition worse. I called the office but have to go through a calling ceneter which routes me to an answering machine. Eventually they called back and told me a prescription was being called in and it never was. I called and left another message. They never called back.
My appointment was on time no long waiting nurse was excellent doctor was excellent
We’re a new family to the practice. Providers & Staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. I would easily give 5 stars for quality of care but wait times are close to or over an hour my last two visits which is frustrating and inconsiderate. Advanced Dermatology has to improve their scheduling to avoid an office full of upset patients.

I visited the doctor a month ago. Needed treatment for a particular issue, which required certain equipment to be ordered. After three phone calls to the doctor went unanswered, I scheduled an appointment as I needed the treatment ASAP. I was assured I could get the treatment I needed. After waiting three weeks for the appointment, the equipment wasn’t there and I was not able to receive the treatment. Ironically, another woman came out in the lobby yelling this practice only cares about money and she was never coming back. Very disappointed and unsure how to proceed.
Great visit. All of my issues were addressed and handled quickly and professionally. A bit of a wait, but once in the room it was well worth it. The office staff helped me out graciously with an issue that I encountered after leaving the appointment. Wonderful practice!

At Advanced Dermatology the staff are very welcome. You the patient are seen on a timely basis which is very quickly no long waiting room time. When seen by the doctor, she listen attentively, examine thoroughly, and make sure that you understand exactly what is happening, what to expect if using a product, and how and when to apply prescribed product. I will recommend this practice one hundred percent.
The waiting time was around 15 minutes, nurse and doctor was nice and knowledgeable.
Dr Flashner is an incredible Dermatologist. She is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She ordered blood work to help make the proper diagnosis and treatment. Visit was not rushed and all questions were answered. I highly recommend Dr Flashner to others seeking a compassionate and caring Physician. Thank you for taking great care of my family.

Terrible experience. I had a 12:00 appointment. By 1:15 I still had not seen the doctor. When I finally got into the exam room, I was told they could not do anything today since they were backed up. The first words out of everyone’s mouth were ‘It’s not my fault’. Complete waste of time. I will not be going back.I was definitely at your office.
The doctors and staff here are very in tune with their patients needs and concerns and genuinely care about their health. The only thing I think they can improve would be the new patient information sheets. The print is VERY small. For an older person or someone with bad vision, it would be near impossible for them to read and fill in.

My first visit was outstanding. Very clean and plenty of parking. The wait was short. It had been dealing with one issue for over two years, another over two months, and the last quite recent. The doctor actually listened to my complaints and solved not 1 but all 3 issues in 20 minutes. She knew her stuff and helped me more than two other doctors I had seen elsewhere over the past two months. She was also very personable. Reception was very welcoming. The assistant was also so friendly and on point. I was so impressed with their standard of care I wish all my doctor experiences were like this. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Staff is very attentive and office is clean and comfortable. Never experienced a long wait .Leah is great . My children have seen her a few times for different ailments and she is very professional, knowledgeable and patient with the kids. Highly recommend .

Genuinely horrified by my experience with Dr. Friedman. It was my first visit to have a spot checked and was seen for approximately 45 seconds by the doctor. Unfortunately I would not recommend to anyone looking to get something checked out. I left the appointment feeling concerned for the other patients seen by her due to her lack of individual attention to patients.
Everyone greeted you with a smile and very professional. The wait time was not very long and once seen Lori was all smiles and very attentive. Going back again to make sure procedure was done well and I’m actually looking forward to it ☺️
I was seen by Dr Fruma Leah Wiederman who was super helpful and friendly in my questions and concerns I had. Very professional and fast during the appointment. I was seen very quickly and waited around 10 mins which was not bad at all. The place was clean and the staff are friendly. Thank you!!
I waited 3 weeks for an appointment. And confirmed via automated texts 5 times including the day of..I showed up to my 145 appointment @ 154pm bc I got stuck in trafficWhen I got there I was notified the doctor had already left because I was 9 minutes late. No phone call, nothing...and they are too busy cant get me in for another appointment now for 4-5 additional weeks.Looks like Ill be going somewhere else.

The office was efficient and friendly upon my arrivalthe assistants and nurse were great and Dr. Friedman made me so comfortable about my options....I had botox for the first time ever yesterday and she was careful about where to apply because I have a low forehead and she gave me details about what to expect with abdominal cool sculpting. I just went yesterday so making decision but once I do it will definitely be with this doctor and office👍🏻

I was extremely disappointed with my visit at advance dermatology. The doctor didn’t spend no more than a minute with me. Did not have the nerve to read notes on the computer. I showed him the issue with my skin and he didn’t even examine it. At less show that you care. I walked in the never took my temp but they took everybody else. I’m like what the heck I’m I chop liver. I didn’t even get a chance to get his name

Lori Friedman is the best!!!! If you are looking for perfection, look no further. She is by far an artist when it comes to improving your appearance. Her skills with Botox and fillers is amazing. When she is done with you, you will look incredible but not fake. She knows exactly how much to use to give a natural, refreshed appearance. She doesn’t push products on you that you don’t need and takes her time as she is a perfectionist and wants to help you look your best. I can’t say enough about her. Great experiences every time I’ve gone.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at an medical office. I had an issue with some growths on the back of my neck so I went in for an appointment. One of the doctor’s assistants came to look at me, which is normal in many offices, so that was fine.First off, the doctor didn’t even look at the back of my neck closely. She sat in her chair and looked at the back of my neck from about 3-4 ft away. It was obvious that she didn’t want to touch me at all as she never touched any part of my body. How do you medically examine someone without even touching or getting close to them?! I was already annoyed so decided then to not come back.She prescribed me some medication and told me to schedule another appointment in a few weeks. Turns out the medicine wasn’t covered by my insurance so it was very costly (which I expected as dermatology isn’t considered “necessary” by insurance standards) but it wasn’t even the right medication! Had to go see another doctor to get proper medication. I will not refer any people to this place nor will I ever return.
Dr Friedman took the time and effort to evaluate my skin problems in relation to wounds I have been attempting to heal on both my lower legs. Her approach was thorough and professional, which made a stressful situation much easier than it otherwise would have been. Thanks for your work on my behalf.

First visit I asked over the phone for a doctor to see and even said I was sick of only being seen by a PA at last office and without my knowledge gave me an appt w a pa. She was super friendly but prescribed me two creams for my imaginary acne which I swear I don’t have. When I picked these up at the pharmacist the pharmacist looked at me and advised me not to take the creams. Pa was also doing what appeared to be a jig while I was talking to her. I wanted to have a serious conversation about the things I’m most embarrassed about and she was shifting her weight a lot and moving we feet.Second visit I came and was informed they tried to call and tell me it was canceled. They were super rude and acted like it was my fault. Then offer me Monday in Long Beach which is 45 mins away. I received their message but then today I got a different email and text saying I had an appointment so I went with the most recent communication and came.I find doctors offices to always treat us as nuisances and this one is no expectation.

My wife and daughter waited 1 hr 40 minutes to see the doctor with a confirmed appointment. Its not the first time we wait a long time. The office is short staffed is what I was told by reception. Unacceptable and unprofessional.

When I scheduled my appt. for mole surgery, I didnt think twice about, figuring thats just their terminology. But when I went in, the doctor went into a lengthy explanation of what was about to happen. Thats when I started to panic...then they got into full surgery dress. I was very nervous BUT through every step of this procedure I was informed what was happening & made to feel comfortable throughout the procedure.Everything went great, I am so happy I have a new dermatologist !

The office is the cleanest and most efficiently run I have seen in a long while. The doctor was personable and really cared about my health. He asked many pertinent questions and treated my spots with care. Definitely recommend this dermatologist office.
Over the years Ive had many skin cancer screenings but Dr.Flashner has been the best. She is the most thorough dermatologist Ive encountered and that professional integrity can save someones life. Highly recommend!

Lack of courtesy. Had a Groupon which first required a consultation. Made a 4:30 appointment and arrived 4:10 for new patient paperwork. Just me and 2 other patients at that time. At 5:15, after a patient was called in and 5 other patients waiting, I asked the receptionist about the status of my 4:30 appintment. She stated there was one person ahead of me and the doctor was running behind due to surgeries. Figuring it would be an easy 30 more minutes before I am even transitioned i to an exam room, I told her forget it and I left. Not even a courtesy to let us know of the delay to give us the information to make the best decision of waiting or rescheduling. Not even an apology or ounce of empathy. Very unprofessional and I will request my Groupon amount to be refunded as well as sharing my experience on other review sites.
Love Lori she’s the best!!!! The office and the staff members are so nice. And sometimes they even give lotion and soap samples for the patients to try and take home.

I arrived 15 minutes late for my appointment with Dr. Flashner. She was scheduled to leave the office at the time I arrived, but she was very nice and gave me a full check-up on my dermatological issues. Even more impressive to me is the fact that she even took the extra time to give me Botox injections which I was not originally scheduled for. Thanks to Dr. Flashner I’ll be looking more “presentable” at a social event this weekend.I have found Dr. Flashner to always be very professional in manner and thorough in her evaluation of my skin problems.
I would leave Zero Stars if I could. Called in because I was looking to do the Broad Band light Treatments for hyperpigmentation. The receptionist booked an appointment for me and said the treatments would be $75 a piece. Left work early so that I could make my appointment on time because of their tight scheduling. When I arrived I spoke with Ana who explained to me that the BBL treatments were actually $450 a piece. I informed her of the $75 price I was given prior, she apologized and said this is not the first time they screwed up on the phones and had people come there thinking those treatments were $75 bucks. So Im not the first to come there and waste my time and you guys havent corrected the issue yet. Complete waste of time. They need to do a better Job at communicating with their staff to avoid wasting peoples time. I will not recommend this place or return.

For anyone that wants to erase at least 7 to 10 years of lifes stress from their face in as little as a half hour, then you MUST go see Lori Friedman at Advanced Dermatology of Bellmore. This womans artistic abilities are amazing! You wont regret it. If you can get an appointment in October youll get the added benefit of 20% of certain injectable. Go for it people this is a no-brainer.

So far so good. My daughter still has acne, but looks better than before and believe it still continue to by using the Drs suggested products.
Even though with what’s going on I’m grateful my daughter was seen by dr Byrne very nice told me what my daughter issue was and prescribed me what she needed also I like the idea that we’re able to wait for our turn Im the car to enter the building by calling us instead of waiting in the waiting area

2022-08-16The Doctor was great. She was very caring and pleasant. She performed the procedure quickly and painlessly. The downside was the waiting. I had a 4:15 appointment. I waited 20 minutes in the lobby and another 40 minutes in a treatment room.

2022-05-13Staff and providers are very professional and dedicated to patient needs, the appointment was schedule at the Franklin square location somehow I went to the Bellmore location, they were so nice to accommodate my appointment to the Bellmore site. Waiting time is not long even though I was a new patient. I will definitely recommend to anyone.

2022-03-17My daughter absolutely loves Dr.Jin. Teen skin needs extra care sometimes and thanks to Advanced Dermatology my daughter is looking fabulous. Their products are also a very helpful addition to her skincare routine. The staff is friendly, appointments are on time getting us in an out. Highly Recommended this practice.

2022-05-15Lori Freidman is a true miracle worker. I had a nasty wart on my finger for over 6 years. I have had all sorts of treatments done by different doctors over the years with no results. I was referred to Lori by a friend who assured me I was in great hands. I finally took her advice and scheduled an appointment. Within the first treatment there was a significant improvement and now after 5 months of continuous treatment the wart is finally gone. No other doctor has ever been able to help me. I am forever grateful to Lori, I never thought I would see my finger back to normal again. She is amazing!

2022-04-15I go every year for a full body scan. I’ve had a great experience each time. They are efficient and thorough. I recommended many people to come here and everyone have been pleased so far. At different locations as well. I don’t hesitate to recommend Advanced Dermatology to anyone.

2022-04-15Went in for a treatment and afterwards I asked the receptionist what my amount due was, she assured me my policy covered everything. I asked if there was a deductible, she looked at the computer and confirmed nope no bill due its all covered. I was scheduled for repeat visits, all with the same exact explanation that nothing was due and it was all covered by my plan after I asked them to confirm each time. Over 6 months later I get a bill in the mail for over $500, apparently my plan didnt cover it and I had to pay the bill. Had I known it wasnt going to be covered I wouldnt have went back for the repeat visits, but now Im out $500+ and the billing department told me theres nothing I can do and I have to pay the bill, despite being told multiple times by the receptionist I would owe nothing. Very dishonest way of doing business, feel like I was tricked into coming back for repeat visits under the assumption it wouldnt be an out of pocket expense.

2022-05-27Everyone at the place was very friendly. especially the young lady that did my intake. She made me feel very comfortable. When the doctor came in the room she was all smiles explain to me everything in detail with my million questions.. Definitely a great atmosphere.

2022-06-01The staff are ok. Doctors are ok. However I find their billing practices to be disgusting. Apparently I went for a visit 3 years ago. Never collected anything further other than their copay and billed my insurance. All of a sudden I get a debt collection notice. At no time did this practice ever attempt to contact me by phone. Email or mail. I was appalled to say the least as I had no idea they even wanted more money after billing my insurance company and getting paid. Not a fan of their communication or lack thereof and the fact that they wouldn’t just accept what was paid by insurance or have the courtesy to reach out to me rather than debt collection to me is extremely unprofessional and for that I will never ever return.
