I cant say more than enough wonderful things about Dr. Boz. From the moment I stepped into his office (who are all wonderful as well), I knew I was in the best hands. For 10+ years I was told by every gyno Ive ever had It sounds like you might have endometriosis and yet nothing was ever done about it. After years of being in daily pain I decided I needed to find a specialist.Dr. Boz heard every word I said, justified all 10+ years of being in pain and put together a plan immediately. He knew I was extremely nervous and had many reservations about surgery. He was so warm and reassuring every step of the way. He said I needed to trust him and thats exactly what I did.Today is my 3rd day post surgery and I feel great. Dr. Boz removed severe endometriosis from my bowel area and 10 fibroids! Dr. Boz has called me every single day to check in and FaceTimed with me just to see my face. 🤗 There is no doubt in my mind that my life has forever changed thanks to Dr. Boz.I know so many women are in the same position I was in. I’m extremely glad I came to Dr. Bozdogan. I’ve been suffering from fibroid issues for many years. Dr. Bozdogan recently performed a robotic removal of my uterus and tubes. He did a fantastic job. I’m very pleased with the result of the surgery, but I’m even happier with the way Dr. Boz treated me and how at ease I felt communicating with him. He walked me through the whole process and even called my husband and walked him through the process as well. Needless to say, everything went exactly as he said it would. One of the first things Dr. Boz asked me during my initial visit to his office was why I waited so long to come in and I remember saying that it took me so long because I had only just found him. I have suffered, mostly to myself, with stage 4 endometriosis for my entire teenage and adult life and then I came upon Dr. Boz from reading all of his reviews and seeing his area of expertise. It has been a little over a week post surgery and I must say I feel absolutely great! Going from being in constant pain and adapting to that pain as if it was a normal thing to now feeling a relief (internally and mentally) is all due to Dr. Boz and his experienced, caring, and wonderful team! Dr. Boz takes the time to get to know his patients but treats you as a friend, never questioning your pain and struggles, rather he understands and maps out what options you have-this guy is wonderful at drawing/charting! He is makes calls to check up on you to make sure all is well and I must say I could not have asked for more! If you are suffering from endometriosis and have been suffering then I suggest you take a chance with a visit to Dr. Boz!

Finding the right Dr took me 3 years since I wasn’t satisfied with the other Drs I had met. So, I endured the pain. Thankfully, I found Dr Boz through google search. After doing rigorous research and reading his reviews, I decided to schedule an appointment.Dr Boz was very professional. In details he explained the procedure and what to expect in terms of child bearing. I was convinced and satisfied that I booked my appointment right after the visit.This is day 5 after my non-invasive surgery with Dr Boz.He took out all the fibroids even those the MRI didn’t capture. I can’t thank Dr.Boz enough. I have had quite a lengthy history of issues with my health and doctors but Dr. Boz took the time to help me understand. Though my procedure was complicated, he was more than confident, competent, and capable to proceed. He even followed up with me from start to post-op to ensure I was comfortable. Dr. Boz is most likely the 9th doctor I’ve seen in the past 4 years and finally I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. He described everything I was going through in details without me having to tell him. Surgery to remove my fibroids and endometriosis was a success. Dr.Boz is fantastic. I diagnosed with fibroids and looking for a specialist. He did robotic fibroid removal the next week after my first visit. After five days after post op I felt completely normal. Just had my 6 month post hysterectomy check up and all looks great. If you’re having issues with fibroids, heaving periods pain you don’t need to suffer. I highly recommend Dr. Boz, he’s great n truly took the time to listen to me give me a proper diagnose n provided excellent treatment … in addition one of the best bedside manner ever which is very important when u place ur care n life in a doctors hands. First post-op visit with Dr. BozI cannot express how happy I am, I am only 10 days out since my surgery and i feel so much better. My pains are finally gone! Don’t let anyone other OBG tell you is normal to have pain, it’s NOT. Endometriosis is a horrible thing to have and Dr Boz is the BEST. Dr. Boz is one of the most amazing doctors ever. I came to him very sick with Stage IV Endometriosis and he was genuinely concerned about my well being. He knew that I needed surgery immediately and was able to fit me into his schedule on an already busy surgical day. He talked with me at the hospital before my surgery and reassured me that I would be okay. The day after surgery he stopped by my hospital room early Saturday morning to check on me and discuss how my surgery went. His bedside manner is impeccable. I saw Dr. Boz as a second opinion for my Endometriosis issues .I was recommended by one of my friend. Dr.Boz did her endometriosis surgery more than 5 years and she was living pain free since then. Dr.Boz spent more than an hour with me and explained about my situation in a detailed manner without rush. He gave all the options including the surgery. I had surgery 1 month. Dr. Boz is a really great doctor, I came in to his office with severe endometriosis pain. The same day I came to visit him, he called other doctors and the hospital to arrange an emergency surgery to be done the week after. I was not scare because I have been through these surgeries but I knew my endometriosis was really bad to have an emergency surgery. Dr. Boz took care of everything and was even calling me the next day and FaceTiming me to follow up after my surgery. This has been my 3rd surgery but this doctor is excellent I cannot thank him enough for his tremendous work and how he is as a person with his patients. He is top notch and I recommend him to everyone who have been dealing with endometriosis.
I saw Dr. Bozdogan after months of pelvic pain, and no explanation from other doctors. He was able to quickly diagnose endometriosis, which my other doctors missed and provided prompt treatment. Dr. Bozdogan performed surgery to remove the endometriosis, and I felt better as soon as I woke up. Dr. Bozdogan is an excellent doctor with a great bedside manner. He listened to all of my concerns, and thoroughly answered any questions that I had. He thoroughly explained both procedure and results. After surgery, I called the office with some concerns, Dr. Bozdogan gave me his cell number and told me to call him on that! Dr. Bozdogan truly cares about his patients and their health. After four years of nearly constant deep pelvic pain, I emerged from my hysterectomy surgery, actually feeling better than when I went in! After years of misdiagnosis, bouncing between GI doctors telling me I have IBS or gluten intolerance, and my long-time OB/GYN recommending a traditional open hysterectomy without an apparent reason why Dr. Boz found my why. At 48 years old and after multiple c-sections Dr. Boz determined I had an enlarged uterus (adenmyosis) and endometriosis in and around my bowel. I cannot tell you what a relief it has been to find a doctor that specializes in problems that can be so challenging to visualize and diagnose. He developed a clear plan to do an exploratory laparoscopic procedure to confirm his diagnosis and after visualizing the problem he recommended the minimally invasive Da Vinci robotic approach that he specializes in for my hysterectomy. Dr. Boz is a skillful surgeon and has a wonderful bedside manner -- calling multiple times on a holiday weekend to check on my recovery. Im so grateful to him for getting to the root cause of my pain and difficulties in the bathroom and giving me my life back.

Dr Boz is the best Doctor! he saved my uterus and removed my stage 4 endo and all my fibroids. I was suffered 7-8years for all the symptoms due to my endo and fibroids, I went to couple of different Dr, they just ask me to take birth control pill. only Dr Boz understand how I suffered from this disease, and his robotic surgery is amazing!!! I just had surgery on Friday, on the 2nd day I can walk around with manageable pain, today is my day 3, I feel great. Dr Doz is the best, i want to give him more than 5 star! I chose Dr. Boz after 2 different unsatisfactory consultations with physicians for a hysterectomy. Dr. Boz performed a robotic partial hysterectomy 7 weeks ago and I could not be happier with my decision in choosing him. The surgery was complex and took over 4 hours as I have a history of severe endometriosis, a large fibroid & adenomyosis, all of which was removed during the surgery. At my consult, Dr. Boz was the first doctor to diagnose me with a frozen pelvis which was confirmed and operated on during the surgery. All the debilitating symptoms I had prior to my surgery are all gone. Dr. Boz has excellent bed side manners, surgical skills and is an expert in his field. All of his office staff are very caring & profressional. I would recommend him to any woman needing pelvic surgery!

I am truly blessed to have found Dr. Bozdogan! I just had robotic excision surgery done today. I have suffered with severe period pain and right side inflammation for almost 3 years now and every doctor has sent me away saying it was normal and tried to push me on birth control. After my final hospital trip for my severe period cramps I finally decided to see Dr. Bozdogan and he saw how tired and distressed I was and genuinely wanted to help me. Sure enough it was endometriosis. I came to Dr. Bozdogan with painful endometriosis in September 2019. He immediately made me feel comfortable and for the first time I felt that I had found someone who could actually help me. His bedside manner is like none other!! Before my surgery, he walked me through the whole procedure and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I was really nervous about the surgery, however the robotic endometriosis surgery was minimally invasive and my recovery has been much easier than I ever expected. I am now 10 days post and feeling better every day. Dr. Bozdogan checked on me multiple times throughout the last week and a half, making me feel more like family and less like a patient. Ive was having lots of abdominal and lower back pain since March of 2019, especially my bowels when close to my time of the month would act up horribly making it impossible to go anywhere. I went to 5-7 doctors who put me through so many tests and nothing showed up there, telling me everything was good until I met Dr Boz on 12/20/19. I had two OBGYNs and my primary doctor who told me they thought I had GI issues. When I went to my GI doctor he told me its wasnt GI related and thought it was endometriosis causing my issues. Since the two OBGYNs didnt want to listen to me or my GI doctor (who didnt want to put me through unnecessary testing), I was desperate that I googled endometriosis specialist and I saw Dr. Bozs reviews. I made an appointment immediately and within the first hour of seeing him, he had diagnosed me with Endometriosis and I was scheduled to have surgery on 1/10/2020. Today Im happy to say that my lower back pain due to endometriosis tissue (where I could barely stand for 10 minutes) is completely gone. Dr. Boz came in to speak to me before the surgery, was very friendly to my family and after surgery he explained to them everything that he did. In recovery after I had woken in up he also explained everything he did to me, showing pictures of all the endometriosis tissue that he removed. He got everything and it turned out the tissue was on my colon pulling it down which was causing my bowel issues. Its hard to find good doctors who will listen and take how youre feeling seriously (even if the tests youve taken shows nothing.) Dr. Boz called me this morning to check up on me post surgery and will be calling me again tomorrow. I highly recommend him and Ive finally found a great OBGYN. Doctor Bozdogan performed surgery on my sister a few weeks ago and he removed endometriosis stage 4. Hes a great surgeon, very experienced and compassionate and my sister is doing great post surgery. We are so happy we found him after going to so many other doctors and having no success. We both recommend him!
I recently had a laparoscopic (robotic) myomectomy with Dr Boz and can honestly say it was a great experience. He (and his staff) are welcoming, very thorough and go above and beyond to help. I had many questions at my first visit and even in the weeks leading up to the surgery and always got quick, thorough responses in the same day. He also explains everything in such detail so there are no surprises! My recovery so far has been WAY better than I anticipated. I went to see Dr. Boz after several unsuccessful attempts to remove all of my endometriosis, including a radical hysterectomy at the age of 36. Dr. Boz was very a very sympathetic listener unlike many doctors I’ve seen, and was confident that he would be able to help me. After so many years of pain and false hope, I trusted Dr. Boz that he would try his best, but I half expected to feel just as bad after surgery as I had before. I’m ecstatic that I was wrong, and that my pain was gone after surgery. It was such a relief to not have the constant pain day in and day out that I had been experiencing for so long. I definitely recommend Dr. Boz!
Dr Boz is an excellent doctor. He has incredible knowledge of endometriosis and he understands the disease and it’s challenges very well. Doctor Boz is compassionate and warm towards his patients. He lead me to the right path of treatment and recovery and I am so very glad that I found him. He is there for his patients in person and on phone. He regularly checks on his patients and also calls you directly when needed. His office staff is also very responsive and quick. Really happy to be under his care.
It is easy to understand why Dr. Boz has a 5 star rating. He is such a kind doctor who truly cares about his patients. I had a large fibroid that would be a major issue when trying to conceive. My husband and I met with Dr. Boz and he outlined the steps to remove the fibroid and any other fibroids or endometriosis that he didnt find during the ultrasound. Based on that consultation, we knew he was the doctor for us. On surgery day, Dr. Boz explained everything that was going to happen and reassured everyone that everything was going to be ok . It is currently 2 days after surgery. Dr. Boz removed the fibroid and also found some stage 1 endometriosis that he removed as well. He has checked in on me over the weekend and made sure I was recovering well. Bottom line: You wont find anyone better.

Dr. Bozdogan helped me so much with my endometriosis diagnoses.I am already feeling so much better. I was suffering from painful periods since high school and no doctors would listen to me. Dr. Bozdogan listened to all of my symptoms, he was detailed in his explanations, made himself available throughout the entire process,and scheduled my surgery during my first appointment. I had my surgery 2 weeks later and went home that day and my recovery time was short and smooth. I would highly highly recommend him!

Doctor Boz was able to remove a 12cm fibroid from my uterus through robotic myomectomy. Every other doctor I went to said they would have to cut me open and the recovery period would be 6-8 weeks. With the robotic myomectomy I was able to leave the hospital the same day with minimal pain. Dr Boz is not only an incredible surgeon, he is also one of most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. I cant thank him enough for doing this for me.
I am one week post op from robotic endometriosis surgery with Dr Boz. This is my 4th surgery for endometriosis and I have never recovered so quickly. I have been less pain and able to move around quicker than before. Dr Boz is very attentive to his patients and great bedside manners. I would highly recommend him.
Was diagnosed with Endometriosis years ago and just dealt with the symptoms not knowing there was treatment available other than naproxen or other medications to try to decrease pain and discomfort. I also endured more uncomfortable symptoms that I didnt even realize were associated with endometriosis. I was experiencing more pain and abnormal bleeding so I reached out to my gynecologist to get an appointment but he was on vacation so I turned to the internet to find a Dr that could treat me right away. I found Dr Bozdogans office and read the reviews. He specializes in treating endometriosis and I thought Id see what he could do that may actually help. Him and his staff are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. My first appointment we did an ultrasound to find the endometriosis spread and I was stage 3. He took the time to explain everything to me in detail so I understood. He suggested robotic endometriosis surgery would be very beneficial and Ill feel A LOT better. Was able to schedule surgery there from his office, one day procedure and 3 to 4 days recovery time. Im a week post op and still healing but anticipate feeling a lot better. Already relieved of back pain and other uncomfortable symptoms I had prior to surgery. Very happy I found his practice. I definitely recommend him highly and will refer him.

Just got out of surgery for my endometriosis!! Let me tell you, for 15 years I’ve been in excruciating pain before and during my period. I would throw up, pass out and constantly take medication. Every Gyno I’ve ever seen has minimized my symptoms and over medicated me.Coming across Dr. Boz’s website was the BEST thing that ever happened to me. Dr Boz did my excision surgery for endometriosis. The surgery went great he was very professional and answered all of my questions. I was super bloated before the surgery and was in some pain. He completely took out all of my endometriosis. I feel great now and all of my bloating is gone. He even gave me his cell phone number so I could reach him at any time with any concerns. Dr Boz was amazing with me and Im so happy I used him for my surgery. I went for several Doctored before deciding he was the one to perform my Myomectomy (fibroid removal surgery). From the initial appointment for diagnosis until the follow up after surgery he was there all away! I was able to text hIm personally with questions if I needed and he put any anxieties at ease with all the reasons why he will do what he planned for me. He explained my procedure step by step very clearly and had a great bed side matter at the hospital as well. Dr. Ulas Bozdogan has been an exquisite doctor all around. He has treated my 18cm uterine fibroid with Da Vinci , robotic myomectomy. It took 12 years for a gynecologist to finally diagnose me after ignoring my complaints of excruciatingly painful periods. My first laparoscopic endometrial excision in 2017 was followed with a debilitating 6 months prescription of Lupron. I was tired of my previous gynecologist treating like a lab rat for birth control use and lack of knowledge of my diseases treatment.As a result, I saw Dr. Bozdogan due to my frustration of continuous pain, weight gain, abnormal bleeding and fear of future fertility. He provided me with the most thorough exam ever during my visit and determined that I needed a Robotic Endometrial Excision. Despite being upset about the first GYN/surgeon not removing all of the endometriosis, I decided to have the procedure with Dr. Boz this time.I thank God that Im already feeling better 1 week post op. I absolutely commend Dr. Bozdogans bedside manner, genuine concern, confidence, great attention to detail. I am so happy that I have found Doctor Boz!!!!! I have sufffered with endometriosis for 13 years and I’ve had 4 surgeries throughout the years. I found Doctor Boz and he put me at ease and went in robotically to remove the endometriosis and it has changed my life! I had surgery on a Friday and was back to work on that Monday. I am having no pain or problems!!! I’ve seen my many doctors who have never fully listed to me but Doctor Boz sat with me on my first appointment for close to an hour talking about endometriosis and all of my options. Dr Boz is an awesome doctor. My wife has been suffering from endometriosis and has been in lot of pain. Dr Boz performed the surgery and she is immediately pain free. From the very first appointment Dr. Boz changed my life. I finally found someone who took the time to listen, understood my endometriosis pain and was serious about helping me as soon as possible. His staff was in contact with me the next day with a surgery date of two weeks later. As nervous as I was, Dr. Boz made me feel very comfortable about having surgery. I knew I could not live with this pain any longer or continue to have emergency trips to the hospital. I feared my next menstrual cycle due to the pain that was going to come.He helped me preserve my fertility as that was very important to me. I am 5 weeks post surgery and never felt better.

I’ve suffered with fibroids for a couple of years. I had a couple of procedures done by my obgyn which failed so I knew that it was time to find a new doctor. His office was able to get me in with him quickly and I really liked him. He’s very nice and explains everything clearly and patiently. He confirmed what I knew would need to happen and that is a hysterectomy. Well, I had it done yesterday and so far so good! I have a few tiny incisions which do not hurt and I feel pretty good. To start off, you would not believe how helpful every single review that has been written on this page has been. I was googling for a doctor for my endometriosis treatment which i was suffering from past 5 years. In the process of finding the right doctor for my endometriosis treatment I came across Dr. Boz and the only thing I was relying on was the reviews which gave me the confidence to immediately make an appointment online. Next morning i got a call from doctor office (I should mention Shena is a excellent staff) saying doctor doesn’t accept my insurance, i was very much disappointed but even then i decided to see the doctor. Doctor Bozdogan did my robotic endometriosis surgery and I’m so happy with the results. And about eight years my mom had a surgery with him and everything went well. Dr. Boz is the BEST!! I cant say enough great things about him, but I will start by saying that he is highly knowledgeable and skilled in treating endometriosis effectively. I have had endometriosis for as long as I can remember and my symptoms included but are not limited to painful periods, painful intercourse, severe butt pain, painful bowel movements, difficulty urinating at times, bloating, and constant pain in my right lower back/butt area. My gynecologists always attributed the pain to endometriosis and would tell me Its just a bad period. I had laparoscopic surgery (ablation) last March by my gynecologist however my symptoms returned and also returned 10x worse. I was in unbearable pain, worse on the days I had my menstrual cycle, and so terrible I was missing work, missing social events, and basically scheduling my life around my pain!!It wasnt until I found and met with Dr. Boz that I got answers. Finally there was a medical professional who knew what he was talking about, could explain/find the cause of my pain simply through an exam and ultrasound based on the symptoms I reported, and most importantly he validated my feelings and pain that I know was not normal or just a bad period. By the end of the consultation, I had my surgery booked with Dr. Boz.Dr. Boz performed the laparoscopic endometrial excision on me (EXCISION is the gold standard in treating endometriosis). Little did he know that what he thought would be an hour surgery, wound up being SIX hours!! It was a much more extensive and difficult surgery than he had anticipated but in taking his time and using his skilled expertise, he was able to remove almost all of the endometrial tissue and lesions. And I say almost all because there were some areas that the risks outweighed the benefits and he made sure he did what was best for me. He was very thorough and confident in knowing his limitations when performing surgery.I am almost two weeks post-op and feeling great. I can, for the first time in a very long time, say that I am PAIN FREE and also pain free during my menstrual cycle!!! I cant even remember what this felt like but I am sure going to take advantage of it. It is simply amazing to live a normal life, go on errands after work instead of rushing home to the couch and heating pad, walk without hunching over, etc.If youre suffering from endometriosis, I would highly recommend Dr. Boz. He knows what hes doing and hes good at it!!! He takes the time to explain everything, answer any and all questions, makes himself always available before and after surgery for questions, checks in with you post-op, and truly cares for YOU! I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Boz! First, I found Dr. Boz online in total desperation after being told by another physician that the only way to remove my fibroids was via an open myomectomy. I called Dr. Boz’s office the next morning and they agreed to meet with me later that same day. Long story short, Dr. Boz booked my laparoscopic myomectomy just two weeks later. During My consultation, Dr. Boz sat with me for over an hour and explained the procedure to me, what to expect, and about my fibroids. I can’t remember the last time a doctor spent that much time with me. The procedure went smoothly and the staff at Lenox Hill hospital were very kind and hospitable. I have healed wonderfully. Dr. Boz is the BEST! I just had the robotic myomectomy at Lenox Hill Hispital in NYC and I feel great! The recovery is so much better than the myomectomy I had before and I didn’t even have to stay in the hospital! So many women are unaware of this relatively invasive procedure and Dr. Boz is compassionate, caring and highly skilled! I moved to New Jersey and found Dr Bozdogan he is amazing !!!! From the moment I called the office to set up my appointment I felt I was at the right place , they took me in the same week I called, my surgery was also scheduled promptly and they worked with my schedule. I was in search of an Endometriosis specialist and he was an angel that fell from the sky. Quick to get an appointment, great listener, makes you feel comfortable and in good hands. After a bad experience with NYU Langone, he was able to work quickly with me and got me a surgery date in as little as 2 weeks. Surgery went excellent and he took his time to explain to my family and I how the procedure went and how recovery will go. Very greatful for Dr Bozdogan and his work guiding me to healing.
I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Bozdogan and his staff. They made me feel very welcome with each visit. Dr. Bozdogan took the time to explain and answer all of my questions. He went above and beyond to make sure I understand everything about my condition and the procedure that was going to happen. I had a robotic myomectomy to remove a uterine fibroid that was causing many unpleasant symptoms. Going into the surgery I was worried about losing blood as I was already anemic and didn’t want to have a blood transfusion. During and after the surgery I had minimal bleeding and there was no need for any blood transfusions. It’s been a little over 10 days post surgery and I am feeling great. I would strongly recommend Dr. Bozdogan for any of the uterine fibroid issues that you are dealing with.

I’m so thankful to have found Dr. Boz! I was diagnosed with stage IV endometriosis and recurring ovarian cysts about 10 years ago. I previously had many surgeries, procedures and countless medications and found no relief. I felt for many years as if I had been treated like a lab rat by other doctors. I sat in my bed at 2:30 AM in tears – I felt alone and helpless. I was searching and searching for a doctor that would listen and help me. I came upon Dr. Boz website and then the reviews. I knew this was who I had to see. With tears streaming down my face I completed the online appointment request - I believe it was 2:47 AM when I was done. At 8:40 AM the next morning I got a call that came up Hackensack, NJ. I was shocked and overwhelmed! I didn’t expect to hear back so very soon. The office staff was so kind and helpful. I had an appointment set up for the next week. I thought it would be months before I got in to see him. My first appointment was amazing! Dr. Boz spent over an hour with me – I didn’t feel rushed, I felt heard and understood for the first time. He was so knowledgeable and compassionate. Before I left his office I had a procedure date set for the following week at Hackensack University Medical Center. All pre-op testing was set up and I went right from appointment to the hospital to have it done. That was nice because it was over an hour drive to get to the office. I also had a surgery date set for a couple weeks later. I had a Davinci Robotic Hysterectomy & Endometriosis Excision Survery 1-March (oddly enough it was first day of Endometriosis awareness month). My surgery went well – the recovery was much easier than previous laparoscopic surgeries I had in the past. I took 4 weeks off work after my surgery. I had a few minor issues but they were at no fault of Dr. Boz they were due to Chron’s Disease not the surgery. My bowels weren’t too happy for a few weeks post-op. I was also just exhausted for some time after. All in all I’m so thankful to found a doctor that was willing and able to help me. Dr. Boz and his staff are amazing! I’d give them 10 stars if I could. I am extremely grateful that I found Dr. Boz. I had Stage 4 endometriosis with frozen pelvis. After having 2 prior unsuccessful surgeries with other doctors I finally found Dr. Boz and am so glad I did. Before Dr. Boz performed my surgery...my body was as a mess, a lot of painful periods, for 10-14 days long every two weeks! Had robotic myomectomy and excision of endometriosis tissue in April 2019, and today I feel great! My first period was 4 days only! No more back pain, no more bloating, no fatigue...all is good for now.
I was experiencing painful and heavy periods for months on end. Option given to me was hysterectomy which I felt was aggressive at the age of 49.After much research I found Doctor Boz and was incredibly relieved how comfortable he made me feel instantly. Dr. Boz is the best listener ever. I suspected endometriosis, but never had a diagnosis. After a long consultation, he assured me what I was feeling was not normal and that he could help. I had terrible constipation and lower back pain with GI symptoms. I am 12 days post op after robotic endometriosis surgery and the constipation is gone and I’m on the road to feeling much better. Typically I do not write reviews but felt compelled to do so in this instance. I suffered on a monthly basis; severe bleeding, lower back pain, cramps, constipation compounded with endometriosis.There is a genetic history of fibroids in my family however my ob/gyn has been monitoring the growth etc. About a month ago, when I went to see him for my annual check up and after my examination he said, Its time kid. I cried because he also told he that he does not perform surgeries anymore however he wanted to recommend me to Dr. Boz who specializes in robotic surgery. Robotic surgery? I had no clue what this was but I trust my gyno implicitly and when I met Dr. Boz I understood the recommendation.When I walked into Dr. Bozs office, after greeting me warmly as if he had known me forever, he told me, I want you to know that although hysterectomy is recommended, that is not where we will start today. I had to give him a thorough historical account, he examined me, gave me an ultrasound and recommended a plevic CATSCAN because he wanted to be sure that the decision for a hysterectomy would be the right one.He explained the process for the robotic surgery. He made notes and drawings for me to take home. He gave me his cell number in case of follow up questions.I am writing this review because I really wish other women knew that this option is available to them. One day following surgery and I am home relaxing. Beyond the sensitivity, minor cramping and some bloating, I am feeling fine. I am so happy my doctor recommended Dr. Boz and I would highly recommend the choice of robotic to surgery to anyone who might be hesitant. My mom was my age when she had her hysterectomy many years ago; it took her a total of 7 weeks for recovery. I am anticipating returning to work within a week because I opted for robotic instead of conventional surgery. Thank you Dr. Boz.Today 12/ 29/18 is one month post surgery. I am compelled to give an update as most people state that they hear from everyone immediately after but not necessarily in the long term after surgery. Well. Here I am on vacation in Jamaica updating my review. I am feeling great!!!! I went back to work one week after surgery on modified duties. My external scars are fully healed, no infection. Internally I am still healing. Initially, going back to work I did experience some back discomfort from sitting up for too long however that is also getting better as I continue to become stronger. I find that taking frequent breaks from my desk does help. I currently take daily walks as this is advised by Dr. Boz at this point in my healing process. Still no biking, running, swimming etc. However, the walks have been good and I do feel myself getting stronger daily. I am still tracking my ovulation as I still have my ovaries and want to track my PMS. So far, so good. Much improved. I still experience some breast tenderness as before, and slight mood swing but nothing nearly as severe as before. I hope this information is helpful to someone out there. The key to recovery is to follow the doctors instructions and take really good care of yourself.

I am so happy I had my robotic hysterectomy went home the same day and it is not even a week and I’m walking around like normal. I was suffering from severe cramps and lower back pain as well as increasingly heavy periods for over a year. My OBGYN had suggested that I had signs of endometriosis and after doing some reading all signs indeed pointed to endometriosis. I researched specialists and came across Dr. Boz. I was able to get an appointment quickly. Dr. Boz spoke to me and explained everything including an examination. He was very knowledgeable, that same we scheduled the surgical procedure to relieve me of the pain and discomfort I’ve been experiencing. Today is day 6 after I had fibroids and endometriosis tissue removed. I feel much better! The surgery went well and I was able to go home same day!

I went to see Dr. Boz for pelvic pain that I have been having for about a year and he said I had scare tissue from my two C-sections. May 30th he preformed laparoscopy robotic endometriosis surgery. Just had surgery with Dr. Boz yesterday and I already feel 100% better. I had Andenomyosis that had become so severe that I had not stopped literally hemorrhaging my menstraual cycle for almost 60 days.. Hemoglobin dropped to 8 and was receiving 2x week iron infususions that were simply not helping.. I was desperate for a solution to my severe situation. After speaking with my GYN, I sought out Dr. Boz after hours of online research for a second opinion. His office was kind and professional when I called and asked for them to squeeze me in somewhere since I was desperate. They fit me in right away. My visit with Dr. Boz was the answer to my prayers. I felt so at ease with him. He listened to all my concerns looked over all the labs I brought with me and did a sonogram in his office. We agreed that the robotic assisted hysterectomy was going to be the only full cure for my problem. I begged him to fit me in somewhere ASAP for surgery and I was scheduled the next Monday!Best decision I have made for my physical and emotional health. Best Endometriosis & Pelvic Specialist Doctor in Bergen County. Why? After 4 years of being ignored by my general Gyn with my severe symptoms, Dr. Bozdogan saved my life. He gave me my quality of life back. I knew I had a severe case of endometriosis but it was beyond what we both imagined. Im pretty sure I could be a case study for medical students as Stage IV DIE endometriosis. But before confirming my suspicion I did extensive research on endometriosis stages and types of treatment. I learned from the top doctors dealing with this condition through Endometriosis Foundation of America. I learned what questions to ask and what was the right treatment for me. Dr. Bozdogan answered everything exactly correct. He told me you cannot treat this condition with medication or hormones (which I had already been through). You can not treat it with laser surgery. Most importantly you must have proper diagnostic tests to ensure that surgery is successful. Once again Dr. Bozdogan followed the exact protocol the latest up to date research had indicated. Even as great as he was with following proper procedures he was in for a significant complicated surgery. Short of penetrating my bowel and colon the disease had taken over my pelvic region. Dr. Bozdogan was able to completely remove the disease through least evasive robotic surgery without sending me into menopause which I was very much trying to avoid. I can live pain-free now and I never again will miss out on time with my loved ones because of endometriosis. I am very grateful I found someone who is not only an expert with years of experience but kind thoughtful and made sure I was comfortable and well informed from the very first day through post surgery.

I had a robotic Myomectomy by Dr. Bozdogan at Lenox Hill hospital in NY past Fri. I had a wonderful experience . For years I’ve struggled with pain and heavy periods, cycle after cycle, with many other symptoms. Doctor after doctor, I was always told “this is normal”. Test after test, and scan after scan, I was always told “everything is fine”, but somehow that never sat right with me. So I consistently changed doctors, always bringing old records to be reviewed. It wasn’t until late summer when I finally found a doctor who listened to me, and who said that it’s possible that I may have endometriosis. With the consistent pain, interference with my relationship and other symptoms being consistent, I decided to seek help of a doctor who solely specializes in this disease. After reading horror stories online about the disease, and what could come with it, I wanted to know what my options were. That’s when I went to google and came across Dr. Boz. Just like you, I went to the reviews to see exactly what kind of doctor he is. Needless to say, I went and scheduled an appointment, and luckily enough I was able to see him within a week. My first appointment with him could’ve been almost two hours as he addressed all my concerns, heard my cries and laid out all my options. Due to the amount of pain and the future I wanted for myself I opted for surgical intervention. Recovery for me, wasn’t as easy as expected, but thankfully my family and Dr. Boz was with me every step of the way. Within a week post operatively, I spoke and FaceTimed with Dr. Boz three times. Each time he reassured me that things were going well, and that everything will be okay. Unlike other times in the past, when he said these words I really felt comforted. I ignored ALL the signs! Same gynecologist for 15 years! Dreaded every cycle, cld barely make it out of bed. Every cycle it was something horrible to look forward to. Suffering and telling your gynecologist all your symptoms over the years. Committed to a yearly pap. And getting completely dismissed in regards to “abnormal” pain, heavy bleeding, heavy clotting). 7 months ago. One day, before my cycle started. I get the same left side abdominal pain. Same location. Leaving me bed ridden for the first 2 days of my cycle. Can’t eat! Can’t sleep! Complete excruciating pain! Periods should NOT leave you unable to daily tasks! Please listen your body. The problem was completely overlooked! By so many. Including myself. ALL THE WHILE... All the while, my entire pelvic region is going through a massive disease in the span of 8+ years and I had no idea. My entire body was shutting down on me. I would cry in excruciating pain and ask God to help me. 2 weeks post op! Made it to the beach with my family. Owned my scars. Swelling is down. Been on my feet for hours at a time, no lower back pain! Dr. Boz truly changed my life! A true caregiver at heart. His energy is awesome. He makes you a priority! He follows up with his patients directly. I’ve 10+ doctors in the last 5 years. With dead end results. My wife had stage 4 Endometriosis that was very painful every time she had a period and during ovulation. We searched for a doctor that specializes in endometriosis and came across Dr. Bozdogan. During the first visit Dr. Bozdogan explained to us the whole process and recommended this robotic endometriosis excision surgery that he performeds at the LenoxHill hospital in New York City. The surgery performed by the doctor was successful doctor called us through FaceTime to check up on my wife on a Sunday which was very unusual and nice. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr.Boz. He changed my life. I am 51 years old and was diagnosed with endometriosis and I have cysts on both ovaries. I had heavy bleeding so bad I had to leave work on those days. The OBFYN I had took out a cyst in October but it grew back. I felt like I wasn’t getting any answers from her so I found Dr.Boz for a second opinion. He took me the next day and spent time with me and ran tests that day. I couldn’t believe this doctor would see me so quickly. and he explained everything that he saw and gave me a plan. He was kind and caring. He is a great surgeon. First of all, 5 star service from Dr.Boz right from initial consultation to post surgery follow up. Its amazing how comfortable he makes the patient. I had stage 4 endometriosis with left and right cysts with severe back pain. I had surgery with another doctor initially as I had the left cyst but it didnt give me the relief and to my surprise, after 8 weeks of recovery, a right side cyst formed and the pain kept on growing. By word of mouth, I came across Dr.Boz and going through the reviews. I decided he is the one to consult. It was so quick. I ended up calling the office, got the appointment right away. He tested and explained whats going on and detailed the next steps with surgery. I was worried about the cyst reoccurrence and thought of one more surgery gave me a chill but he kept me at real ease. Scheduled the date for surgery and surprisingly available all the time on his phone for any questions which is very rare. Surgery was complex as its stage but it was successful. He explained with pics before and after surgery so that I know whats being done and thats a relief I tell u. Its been 2 days now after surgery and I am already feeling way better except the regular healing time. Dr. Boz is a rock star. I was suffering tremendously with endometriosis and fibroids to the point where I got so weak during my periods. Wow wow wow is all I can say!!! Dr. Boz is the absolute best!!!!! I started losing hope before meeting him. Left and right I was told that I would need a hysterectomy at the age of 30. When I came across Dr. Boz he reassured me that a hysterectomy was not necessary at such a young age.. He sat back and told me what he thought was best for me and if I was his sister that he would recommend robotic Myomectomy.I am laying here not even 12 hours later with the best bedside assistance I think there is out there. Where do I begin! Ive been suffering from painful periods since I was 13. All the GYN doctors overlooked at it and just said get on the pill. Even on the pill I still had cramps. It took 18 years for me to find a DOCTOR who heard my struggles and believed me! Thats Dr. Boz! I had a lap done and sure enough I had endometriosis. This changed my life, he changed my life! Dr. Boz is literally an angel on earth. I have suffered with severe pain and medical issues for 8 years with multiple bowel obstructions and hospitalizations. I’ve been misdiagnosed with Crohn’s disease, IBS and various autoimmune diseases more times than I can count. Despite all of these issues, I could not find a single doctor that would operate on me and properly diagnose my condition. My father had found dr Boz by doing a google search, and had incredible reviews. I was a little skeptical at first because I thought all these reviews were too good to be true. I had been to many different doctors before dr. Boz, all of which had said “hopefully I’ll be the last you see”. (I’m sure many of you have heard that before). Hi Guys, 🙂I was very hesitant to write this & post it, but after my first surgery & seeing a specialist and posting about it more via social media I felt I needed to. The amount of people reaching out to me who have the same symptoms or know someone who does and wanted to learn more about Endometriosis. I felt it was important to educate & spread awareness, that this condition isn’t normal.Endometriosis is a chronic pain condition where tissue grows outside of your uterus and has many painful symptoms. It’s taking off sick days because you can’t move. It’s having a heating pad attached to you from the moment you wake up, until the second you close your eyes. It’s being curled up on the floor or on your bed unable to move to reach any kind of pain relief. It’s wondering what this means for your fertility and your future. Endometriosis is a disorder which affects women and takes on average approximately 6-10 years to diagnose. This is usually due to missed diagnosis’s where women are perhaps not being taken seriously as they should when discussing their pelvic/period pain, which is often dismissed as a “normal woman’s issue”. May of 2018 I began having excruciating pelvic pain that I just kept writing off as normal. Summer started to approach and the pain was getting worse and unbearable. Nobody, not even myself understood what exactly I was feeling and going through. One minute I would be having a casual conversation laughing and joking and the next I would be hunched over in pain. That doesn’t mean I’m faking it or that it was all in my head (even though at times I thought it was). That’s what this illness is “CHRONIC PAIN”. One minute you can be feeling 100% & the next you could be curled in a ball on your bed. September 2018 I had enough I scheduled a Laparoscopic Surgery to confirm if I actually do have endometriosis. October 2018 I had my surgery & endo was found along with cysts on my ovaries. Recovery was difficult & I had relief for a month. Then the unthinkable happened my pain came back 150% worse & I was having more & more symptoms. The back pain, pelvic pain, nauseas, everything was coming back. My days and nights consisted of me in bed with a heating pads all over. When I would go to work I would have a heating pad at my desk. Canceling plans with friends & ignoring them because I was so embarrassed that they wouldn’t understand what I was going through. I started calling out of work more because getting out of bed was so difficult. I couldn’t wear tight clothing or normal jeans because the pressure on my hips would trigger pain instantly. I thought I was stuck, that I was never going to be “normal” again all I knew was pain. My boyfriend & best friend were literally at rock bottom and tired of watching me suffer. They found me an Endometriosis specialist one of the best. (& Let me tell you something if you don’t have people in your life like these two, you’re doing it all wrong lol). I saw the specialist beginning of March 2019 & immediately he said “ I know you just had this surgery five months ago but you’re going to need to have another one”. My heart sank but I trusted him, & I told myself whatever I have to do, I’ll do it. April 5th, 2019 my surgery was in a hospital in NYC & I was so nervous, literally shaking because if this surgery doesn’t work what was I going to do? Waking up from anesthesia I was crying because of pain but also because I can’t believe I did it. They removed the Endometriosis along with some scar tissue. It’s only Day 3 post surgery I am still sore & minor pain but it’s all worth it considering the possible outcome in the end. There is no cure for Endometriosis but having a diagnosis can help you manage your pain and symptoms with the help of a specialist. In this case I owe it all to Doctor Bozdogan.

Dr. Boz is an incredible surgeon that has improved my quality of life. I was in so much pain and had heavy bleeding since age 38. I went to two different gynecologists who just wanted to prescribe hormones. I was convinced to get a IUD with progesterone that caused me to gain 50 pounds in five years. After I got that removed the pain and heavy bleeding continued and every 20 days. I was exhausted and had no quality of life. A friend of mine knowing I had been suffering recommended Dr. Boz, and I made an appointment right away. He explained the problem and the process so that I could understand. Perfect time !! I’ve being going almost every month to ER for paining no answers , I’ve being going to a lot of OB doctors and no1 told me what I have ,, thanks to Dr Boz , I’m finally back to life ,, I have a Laparoscopy and a procedure for endometriosis ,, he was the only one who find what I have ,, now I’m back to life!!
Staff was very rude and unresponsive took 3 days for a call back to say they dont want to accept my insurance even though its covered. Dont waste your time calling if he cant soak your insurance company.
I found Dr.Boz on line ,made appointment with his office in very short time,what was awesome because I was in a lot pain.Dr.Bozgodan diagnosed me with Endometriosis,.Couple days after he preformed Endometrios Laparoscopy surgery on me and did a awesome job.Dr.boz and his staff office are so professional,nice and very helpful.I will recommend this doctor and his staff to anybody any time.

2022-06-09Dr. Boz is the best doctor that I’ve ever encountered. He treats every patient with so much compassion and care. He’s an amazing doctor, surgeon and human being. I had surgery to remove my Endometriosis a little over a week a ago and I’m feeling great. Dr. Boz has even called both my husband and I multiple times to check in on me. The surgery was a success and I would recommend him to anyone. He is the absolute best! Just left post op visit, everything is going great!

2022-01-17Dr. Bozdogan is amazing! I have been suffering from endometriosis for several years and had reached the point where I thought nothing could get rid of my constant pain until I found Dr. Boz! From my first appointment I knew I was in good hands! He thoroughly went over my history and took the time to explain what was causing my pain, even drawing a medical diagram for me so I could visualize what he was explaining. We elected to do the surgery and he and his medical staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and to help ease my nerves beforehand. From his helpful and friendly office staff Sheila and Ingrid, to his fantastic bedside manner and expertise, Dr. Boz is truly a top tier surgeon! I am now three days post-surgery and have not felt any of the severe pain I was experiencing before, Dr. Boz helped give me my life back! Thank you!!!

2022-07-03Dr. Boz is a truly caring and intelligent individual. I had been to 3 doctors previously who had given me the diagnosis of endometriosis, but did not want to do anything about it. Dr. Boz listened to what I was feeling, and we decided surgery was the best option. While doing the procedure, we learned that I indeed was experiencing endometriosis, which was making my life quite difficult for so many years. Thank you so much, Dr. Boz for taking my pain seriously and actually doing something about it. He contacted me every day after the surgery to check on how I was doing, and I am truly lucky to have found a doctor like him throughout this.

2022-06-16My wife had a recent myomectomy and endometriosis removal surgery with Dr. Boz and we could not be happier with the results. He is an excellent surgeon with extensive endometriosis knowledge and experience, which gave us great confidence that he would be the best choice for a complex case like my wife’s. Dr. Boz also has great bedside manner and genuinely cares about his patients. We live in NYC and have been fortunate enough to work with top doctors in their respective fields and we have never come across a doctor who displays this much genuine care for the well-being of a patient. Dr. Boz has been engaged, accessible, and supportive before, during, and after the surgery and was instrumental in my wife’s recovery process. As a husband who has been involved in the process, I appreciated Dr. Oz’s calls to check in on my wife’s recovery.Before meeting Dr. Boz, my wife had already been diagnosed with endometriosis, alongside a finding of a large fibroid. Multiple top doctors already reviewed our case and all recommended a hysterectomy and oophorectomy. We were not happy with the news but we were not given any other options. A friend of ours, who had worked with Dr. Boz before, insisted that my wife consult with Dr. Boz and have him review her case before making a final decision.Shortly after meeting Dr. Boz, we decided to work with him. It was great to hear that he would try and save the uterus and ovaries as much as possible, while removing the fibroid and endometriosis. During the surgery, he found out that endometrial tissue covered part of the large intestine like a web and removed it too. Had my wife worked with another surgeon who was not as skilled and knowledgeable as Dr. Boz is and who went in to perform a hysterectomy, would he/she have been able to do the same or just leave the intestine as it is? Would she/he have cleared the web around the large intestine as well as Dr. Boz did? We are glad we do not have to ask or answer any of these questions.Even if you have a surgeon/endometriosis specialist, we highly recommend at least to see Dr. Boz for a second, third or fourth opinion and get his perspective before making any surgery decisions. 2022-02-10I am very glad to meet Dr Boz. After my first surgery was not success with the other doctor. It’s been almost an year from now, i had under went surgery by Dr Boz and i feel very happy that i free from endometriosis now. Every time I visit Dr Boz he is very welcoming and helpful. I really recommend Dr Boz if you have any kind off issue with endometriosis or fibrosis.

2022-02-09Hi, I had a roboti fibroid removal and excision of endometriosis done by Dr Boz that I was told by a couple of doctors to get a hysterectomy. They took one look at my ultrasound and decided it was best to do the hysterectomy. By the end of the one year it grew so large I myself begun to believe maybe I should have the hysterectomy. I then went to my primary MD who direct me to Dr.boz and I am very happy she did just in the nick of time because I underwent the surgery and what a success. I no longer have to carry these four large fibroids around that I thought was going to have me taken my uterus out.Dr Boz makes me feel very comfortable and I new I was in good hands because of his one of a kind robotic and years of expertise in this field. He makes his patient feels and treated like his own family, he does his routine follow ups and boy I’m really excited to recommend anyone to him. 2022-02-28Dr. Boz has worked a miracle with me. I came to him with numerous fibroids and endometriosis. I came to Dr. Boz because my local gynecologist said that I would need to have a hysterectomy and I did not want to do that, so I started my search, I wanted to be with the absolute best specialist for fibroids and endometriosis and I found him, Dr. Boz. He is beyond a specialist, he is a MASTER in his field.And what is even more incredible, is that he is a true healer, the moment his hands touched my body I felt his respect and sensitivity to me my first appointment was a few days after my first phone call with Dr. Boz. And when I did call I actually was calling Dr. Boz directly unknowingly to me! I heard his voice and I said “oh excuse me Dr. I am so sorry I thought I was calling your offices” he replied with kindness and warmth and said “it’s ok- tell me Angela what’s going on? Let’s talk”.I couldn’t believe how kind and interested Dr. Boz was with me without ever meeting me. 2022-06-06Dr. Bozdogan was the only gynecologist who listened to me and believed me when I described the severity of my endometriosis symptoms. Due to the positive reviews I had seen online for Dr. Bozdogan, I decided to move ahead with surgery and am now 3 days post-op. The surgery was more complex/time consuming than initially planned (as my case was much more severe than imaging had shown), but he was incredibly thorough and has been following-up with me consistently after surgery to monitor my recovery. Highly recommended!

2022-01-26I was google searching for a doc near me who had good experience with fibroids and endo and found Dr Boz that way. I called his office with some questions on a Friday and he called me back personally on Sat morning to talk about my case! I went in for an exam and he and his team are all really awesome. After the exam he determined that he could remove my fibroids and anything else that was not supposed to be in my womb. He answered all of my questions prior to surgery and over a few phone calls and the surgery was successful. He removed 2 pounds of fibroids and endo which had become super uncomfortable for me over the course of years. Other docs had said that I should have a hysterectomy, or a full open myomectomy, but Dr Boz was able to remove them laproscopically and I only have 5 small incisions that are healing well. I came home the same day of my surgery. I am 8 days post op. After surgery I have had several facetime convos with Dr Boz leading into my office post op appt. He is super attentive and communicative. He even called my mom and my cousin both after surgery to update them on how it went. You could not have a better surgeon on your case than him!
