I have all my 3 kids through HIP and now my husband, myself and my youngest in college still go here ACPNY. Dr Mazid is the best. He listens and he cares. His appointment wait is very long (hence the 4 star). However if you email him through the portal he or his nurse gets back to you. Wait time to see Drs has improved tremendously. In the days of HIP and earlier ACP one would wait hours to see a Dr. Currently the wait is much shorter and if they are running late you receive a text apologizing. Got text while waiting for Dr Tulsie- Optomologist and Dr Mazid and it was not even that long a wait. Dr Mazid answers my email at night. Dr Tulsie gave me his direct number to call. My husband a heart patient has to go to get his blood pressure checked by the nurse every two weeks. When she noticed his breathing was sharp and his blood pressure still high. The cardiologist sent him to emergency room. I think the service has improved tremendously since the days of HIP.My only complaint is that at times appointments take too long. However if you email your Dr they can always fit you in earlier depending on the seriousness of the situation. Dr El Imad from gastro very nice also. All the Drs I have dealt with are very nice. Explain things clearly and ask if you have questions. They don’t seem to be in such a rush to kick you out as previous Drs. The receptionist both in person and on the phone are very nice and helpful.I am very happy with the service and the improvements are well received. I sorry that others have not had such a good experience. They usually send a survey after visiting, so you can share your experience. You can always ask to speak to a manager if your needs are not been met.

Customer service needs so much work. Dr. Mohsani clearly has too many patients she cant even get my name right when she comes in the exam room. The wait time is ridiculous. You are never able to get youre prescriptions filled. Its just a bad experience every time i go there

I am not usually one to write reviews but truly I am surprised how this place is functioning. If I could give this place -1000 stars I would. TERRIBLE HORRIFIC customer service, never on time with appointments which collides with personal schedules, THE ABSOLUTE WORST with referrals, I cant even fathom or explain the difficulty of trying to obtain any type of damn referral from them and when they do decide to fax over referrals, they are never in the correct form that is asked for which therefore delays the process even more. Terrible and RUDE customer service via the portal, so unprofessional these people I cant even begin to explain. Whatever you do, dont even bother wasting your time with these people.

Worst place for walking. Reception doesn’t helpful. If ask any questions, they answer very rudely. Waiting time very bad. You don’t know when they will call you.. best of luck…

I handed paperwork, that I needed for work, directly to my primary doctor. A week later, I called to see if my paperwork was completed and I was told that they do not have my paperwork. So I went and reprinted the paperwork and dropped it off at the office. The next day I called again inquiring about my paperwork and was told that I had to wait 7-10 business days for them to fill out my paperwork. Why do I have to wait an additional week when it wasn’t my fault that the paperwork that I handed in was lost. The fact that I handed it directly to my doctor and the paperwork was lost is insulting. Shows that not only I but my well being is not cared about by my primary doctor. So I waited the week patiently and inquired about my paperwork once again and I was told that when the paper work is ready I will receive a call. Why am I being brushed away? Why aren’t my needs being taken seriously. Mind you the paper work that needs to be filled are two pieces of paper not an encyclopedia. I am 21 years old, I live by myself and pay just about $2,000 a month in bills. I do not have mommy and daddy to turn to for financial problems, I’m on my own. Due to this discrepancy I have not been able to work. I been out of work for over a week so that means I’m not going to have enough money to pay my bills this month. That also explains why I have been eating dry cereal and applesauce because now I have to stretch a dollar. There has been no real sympathy nor any real help to solve, accommodate or acknowledge this problem. I am very disappointed because I have been coming to this office since I was an infant, and honestly I am now questioning the integrity of the office. Instead of being a doctors office that is supposed to help people you are being a doctors office that is hindering people. It is disgusting the treatment I am receiving. Though guarantee you they will mail me my copayment bill before they hand me the paperwork I need for work. My own doctor has not apologized for the inconvenience since she was the one who misplaced my paperwork. My own doctor has not addressed the situation, nor communicated with me on the reasoning for there being a prolonging in my paperwork either. There is no effort what so ever. They should be embarrassed to choose a line of work and not be passionate nor effective in what they do. I feel that I am experiencing ageism. That due to me age I am not being taken seriously. If only they put themselves in my shoes they would understand my frustration and the severity of the situation.

The absolute worst service. Ive been calling Dr kauls office for 3 days for my inhaler and they still have not returned my call I ended up going to the ER to solve my issue. Stay far away from this group.

I logged to My ACP and noticed it lacks a phone number to call my clinic.If you click c0ontacts theres a box to write-in questions but no phone number! WHATs THE MATTER WITH THEM! Why dont they give their number? People are being discouraged from calling for appointments!PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DIE AND GET SICKER!
