I called to have my chimney swept, but as someone else here has said, they informed me that my boiler chimney was badly in need of repair and needed to have a liner installed and chimney repointed. Fair enough - his verbal estimate included all the work he would do - install liner repoint brick work install new cap, waterproof the two chimneys and replace piping on the boiler to chimney and ofcourse sweep the second chimney (the reason for my call) . Keep in mind this is height of covid (Fall 2020) and Id rather he not come inside the house aside from the basement to do the estimate so he told me he could just look down from outside on top of chimney and since we have such an oversize chimney the sweep should not be a problem. He and his assistant arrive and begin the work although we have to listen to their bickering for most of the time they are here. When it came time to sweep the chimney, he walks into to my living room and hands me the brushes! He then puts one foot on the carpet to test if his foot is dirty then puts the other foot to see if that is dirty. When I asked him to lay down a tarp he is visibly annoyed that I asked he goes gets a tarp and tells me to spread it out with him!! Maybe if it was hard wood floor I could understand but he was angry I asked him to put a tarp on the rug? then he looks in the fireplace and says OOOHH I wish I wouldve saw this before - there is alot of creosote built up - this is gonna need a chemical treatment Now I am annoyed I call the main office to ask about why - what is the cost for treatments etc and she says its a process etc ..He goes to plug in the vacuum and leans against the wall and makes a huge smudge mark on my wall and never even cleans it up aside from smudge marks all over my basement wall - they never even brushed the chimney from the top down ( they wouldve sealed the chimney when they did) He then tells me its a misunderstanding he did all this extra work for me and that he threw in stuff that wasnt on the estimate (at this point he still waiting for a tip I suppose) he says he did stuff like waterproofing the chimney and replaced all the piping to the flu which was not included on the estimate - I told him it was included in the estimate - btw, who would have the liner replaced chimney repointed, and then not replace the piping from boiler to the chimney?? Anyway had to pay and have someone else come and SWEEP THE CHIMNEY the right way and see how it is done - you first seal the fireplace and then you go out side and brush down from the top and then come inside and sweep and the clean it all and vacuum. Still not sure if the chimney masonry work was done correctly because I dont know enough to say - until someone else comes to check the work. To the owner - I did remember that he told me he would replace all the piping from boiler to chimney but it was not included in the written estimate? I realized this after he claimed he threw in all this extra stuff, like the waterproofing, the sweep for no charge, and the piping, he states the estimate verbally then doesnt include in written estimate and then tells you he did you a big favor by doing it for you? Additional little tidbit, I just cleaned my gutters around chimney portion of roof and they are half full of cured grout!! from when he hosed off the chimney - so awesome -- thanks for that extra work!* and then their response is to call me a liar.. very professional ! they just dont get it. I actually have camera footage showing that the 2nd tech never entered my home to clean the chimney he only went in basement through garage, so yea I am not the one lying about anything, he was putting away all the tools while the first tech attempted the chimney sweep. But nice attempt to call me a liar after I gave you that business and paid you all that money! I gave a review of your company based on the experience - I certainly wouldnt want anyone from your company coming back to clean anything!

Ageless cleaned my 3 flues, secured my chimney cap, pointed my 2 chimneys and waterproofed both of them. Their staff were professional, cleaned up my property after all their work and were very reasonable. And they showed up when they said they would!
I had this company come by and fix my chimney. The owner Bobby is a great guy. I saw some of his videos on Facebook and decided to give them a call and I am glad I did. The last gut did a horrible job the chimney was falling in.The job came out great. If you need any masonry work done. I would definitely give them a call first. I called this company because my boiler kept shutting and my oil guy said it was the chimney. My neighbor recommended Ageless Chimney to me so I checked their website and thought they looked pretty good. They came on time and explained that I had a blockage. They cleaned it out and it was not expensive. The owners themselves came and they were neat and professional and very nice.I would recommend this company.
My neighbors actually comment at how great my chimney looks. The guys at ageless are literally the only people I would trust to fix chimneys, and roofs too. They’re stand up guys. They could easily charge more for their work, but believe in being fair. They’re about to do my entire roof, and I didn’t even bother getting additional estimates. Was told my chimney needed work, first guy was nice said they would bring big crew to finish the job fast. On the appointment day they were an hour late and one person came. After digging a whole he left saying he would be right back. He came back after two and a half hours to do 30 minutes work. Wasted my whole day. Very unprofessional, paid 2k for a waste of a day. Would not use again
Bobby and Sherwood came to our house in Massapequa after my wife and I had been dealing with a leaking chimney for weeks. After providing us with a reasonable estimate they performed the work the following day and our chimney has not had a leak since through several storms. Would definitely recommend them to family and friends.
Ageless chimney answered the phone on the first ring and was able to come to my home to Fix a carbon monoxide leak the same day. They installed a stainless steel chimney liner to keep me and my family safe from carbon monoxide. I would recommend them to all my friends and family!
I called for an estimate on my wood burning stove flute and chimney. It is very old and needs to be replaced in compliance with the current codes. They came out and gave an estimate within the window of time they quoted. The worker seemed very knowledgeable. I was happy with the quote and told him that I would plan to have the work done within a couple of months. He told me that he would email the estimate within one week. I never got the written estimate even after calling 4 times. I am now ready for the work to be started. I spoke with the representative today who stated she would pull up my info and call me back, still waiting..........
I am truly satisfied. I have not used my fireplace for 4-5 years. The hamper was rusted. I called 3 companies for an estimate. 2 came in and said it would cost $450-$500. Ageless came in and first tried spraying WD40. It worked! And they didnt even charge me. I highly recommend this company.
Just moved into a new home uncoverd a chimeny behind a wall a family member recommended this company call up spoke with a nice young lady she explained that they would used a camera to Inspect it tha guy that came very knowledgeable I ask him about the service charge he yes 100 dollars paid and then I realize he never used a camera and that what he put on the receipt that he used a camera if you cant be trusted for 100 dollars I will I trust you with 1000s no need to call back or even respond lack of trust bottom line
Honest, professional and willing to answer question. I took a shot with this company, when I sought help for what I thought was a chimney problem. They came checked out my heating , hot water systems andchimney. I was relieved there was no problem and happily surprised when there was no charge. Had a chimney sweep done along with a cap put on my chimney. They were on time, professional and did the job at a fair price. I was glad they were a local company and they ended up doing my neighbors house the same day. Very satisfied.
Wanted to take a few minutes to pass along my experience with Ageless Chimney….my mother in law is 87 and she needed to have repairs made to her fire place chimney and to her front stoop. I went the normal route of asking around, for personal references before doing some research on the computer. I can tell you I was very apprehensive when I could not get any personal references. Quite frankly, I was most concerned about her being taken advantage of and me too….well let me tell you…I am super glad that I chose Ageless after receiving several estimates….their work and professionalism was simply outstanding…so good that I felt that I had to take the time to write this review…As for the longevity of their work, time will only tell but I am very confident in the results for the work that was performed and they warrantied it for ten years too.Mike M
This company was recommended to me by a friend. I value all recommendations that are made to me through friends. The company was suppose to come and do a simple chimney sweep for $40 but when the service man came they tried to pull a bate-and-switch. The service man came and said we need to do replace the lining and it would cost couple of thousand dollars!! I told them that I wanted the chimney to be swept as discussed and even offered them as much as $70 to do the job. After much back and forth the serviceman agreed but said that i needed to sign some sort of waiver to which I AGREED only after he did the job. The serviceman than just left!!BE CAREFUL about their BATE-AND-SWITCH strategy
Scheduled weeks in advance. Took off from work.8am cleaning.That morning .told would be later in day. They Called in the afternoon sd have to reschedule. Would not give me next day or a Saturday.If you cancel a customer appt. you should give them priority on reschedule.

Ageless Masonry put a patio of Cambridge pavers in my backyard and I couldn’t be happier. The attention to detail was top notch as well as their professionalism and the finished product is fantastic. I highly recommend this company for anyone with masonry needs.

2021-06-18We had several Chimney companies give us an estimate for repairing our chimney. Nick, by far, was the most knowledgeable, and explained in great detail the work they would do for us. Nick picked up on a shortcoming in our boiler system, which I knew about, but no other chimney company mention this. Ageless Chimney quote was professional and detailed. They were the only company to call and follow up with us, as well. Their office crew was very courteous and helpful.I proceeded with hiring them to do the work. Nick and his crew were meticulous, hardworking, and did a superb job. Nick and the crew were friendly and meticulously cleaned up inside and out. I strongly recommend them.

2022-01-27Less than one year after hiring these guys my Belgian block is falling off and my driveway has more cracks in it than I can count. Overpriced considering that in the long run the work they did was garbage. Tried calling them to come take a look and rectify this and they never even showed up when they said they would .Thanks for nothing guys

Super personable, friendly and very helpful in explaining the process and giving suggestions for the future, as well as being kind and patient with the 200 questions we posed. 2021-02-03We had to call “Ageless Chimney” in an emergency the night of our first blizzard of 2021. Our gas was turned off because the chimney pipe wasn’t able to exhaust all of the gases and fumes. Nick and Kyle came out the next morning and made our chimney high enough so that we hopefully don’t have this problem again. They were informative and quick. Thank you for such an immediate response during the blizzard and aftermath!

2019-02-03Very professional. I thought our chimney was clogged, and called hoping they could come out the same day. They were at my house a few hours later, and had called to give an updated ETA which was great because I work nearby and was able to run home to meet them. The guy that came out (Sherwood) was friendly, explained everything to me, worked quickly and overall did an excellent job. I hope I dont have more chimney issues anytime soon, but if I do Ill be calling Ageless again.
