While the new lounge is beautiful and the hard products are gorgeous, this lounge lacks a lot of soft product. Was there for breakfast and trays were empty, there was very little food selection. Also, beer and alcohol was not available until after 11am, but NY State law stipulates 10am on Sunday. To compare, their competitor offered full stocked hot and cold food as well as beverages available after 10am.
I love this place!!!! So why 3 stars? The food selection is not great drink selection is by far way better. Had I been a drinker I would have given 4 stars. Even with the 3 star rating there is nowhere I would rather be while waiting for my flight. The space is comfortable and inviting. There are chairs to stretch out and sleep in not many but enough. I have never had an issue with it being too packed which is great compared to other lounges I have visited.
While located on the upper floor for the exclusive feel, this lounge feels inadequate and tired. The lighting is dark (different from ambient!) with a floor lamp here and there. There is absolutely no personality in decor. We were there at 10:30am for a morning flight, and there was barely any food served at the pantey. A yogurt here, a small leftover pastry there. Not even packaged cookies or nuts! The selection of beverages was okay, with the expected coffee and cappuccino machine. You can make yourself some toast, if you like the thick cloyingly sweet fruit preserve! More to be desired.
Pretty good lounge. Could use more power outlets to charge computers. There is a charging tower for phones at the door. There is a bar available for free with a bartender. Food selection was good with tortilla chips and salsa, kale salad, and a couple of soups. Bathrooms pretty old and grungy. Definitely nice to be able to access for free but wouldnt pay for access.
Pretty good spot, lots of seating, drinks and snacks are nice. Its not the fanciest lounge out there (their internstional signature lounge is lovely for example) but it is a whole lot nicer than a lot of the US airlines offerings, and it beats waiting at a lot of the gates at Pearson
Brand new lounge. Great natural light, confortable seating. All chairs equipped with both AC and USB outlets. The food bar is small, still offers good quality dining and beverages. Great spot to hang out and either relax or work while you are waiting for your next Air Canada flight.
The Maple leaf lounge is ok, I have had hotel continental breakfast that was better. Opened a few minutes passed its opening time of 5am on the day I visited, the check in process was slower because several people waiting in line for it to open. The staff (male/Asian) employee was unfriendly, barely helpful and it appeared as if he was waiting for the female employee to arrive to let passengers in. His attitude seemed as we are eating for Freè or freeloading at his Restaurant. I had to take a photo of him looking down at the passengers as we see Kim Jung of North Korea on T.V. Bar selection is slim but ok as you can see from the attached photo. Waiting area is clean, comfortable seating, quiet areas and there are bathrooms. I wish this lounge was located past security closer to the gate. If all the lounges were like this I would have canceled my membership.
I love the idea of a place in the airport where I can relax and not be bothered by the incessant announcements in the rest of the airport. This new lounge at LGA is a wonderful addition to the renovated space. The food and drink selection is okay and the entire space is clean and comfortable.
Try to avoid. I came here because it was offered by priority pass and I had a lot of time on my hands before my flight. Thought it was going to be a bit better than what the other reviewers said, I came to see it for myself. Boy... Was I so wrong. The food selection is terrible! Warm oatmeal, boiled eggs, some really ripe bananas, a few beverages and some sad looking toast. Even the toast taste horrible and how can you get that wrong when it was probably bought??The only good thing is, they do have comfy seats and the receptionist was acceptably nice.
Pleasant lounge, modern look, attentive service. Had breakfast before a flight. Oatmeal, assortment of breads and mini muffins. Lavazza Coffee and espresso machines, cereals, jams, juices. Only downside is that its BEFORE security so you cant fully relax as you need to guess on timing to leave for your gate.
Food was ok, ambiance was ok, drink selection was ok. If you have to be stuck in LGA for a few hours, might as well check in here. It wont make-or-break your new York trip one way or the other, but they have unlimited drinks (what else are you going to do?) and free wifi and not bad snacks.
The new Air Canada lounge is excellent and a welcome change from the old location pre-security. The food fare is standard for an Air Canada site, but the layout (with ample seating, outlets, and views from above onto the main promenade area) make this a great spot. The staff has likewise been notably more outgoing and helpful than ar other Air Canada lounges. They have have helped me on several occasions rebook flights or move to earlier flights---always courteously and quickly. To me, this new lounge embodies the essence of the new LGA terminal and is a place that I look forward to when flying back to Toronto.
As far as Air Canada lounges go, this is one of the least attractive. Dated, in a crummy part of the airport (but is there a non crummy part in this airport, to be fair..). Chili was very good. The usual array of drinks, alcoholic and non. Lounge is not airside, though, which is annoying if you waitlist for an early flight.
Give 2 stars because if you search on internet they said they you can access the lounge with the priority pass but when you try to use it they said that they dont give access to priority pass and the explanation they give you is that they are new and they have to update the info. Also it on terminal B so if you are and terminal C or D you will have to exit the airport take a shuttle and then pass security. And the same thing to go back to terminal C or D
This is the worst airport lounge Ive been to. I was here in the morning and the food is pathetic. They only have a toast, yogurt, bananas, and cereal. The drink selection is mediocre, and the bathrooms are small without showers. Its also a lounge before security which is annoying if the line for security is long.
First lounge I accessed with my priority pass. Right off the bat it was nice to have access to a relaxed and comfortable environment in the brutal transit camp called LaGuardia airport. The lounge is rather small in size compared to other ones Ive been to. I do give them credit for how theyve tried to make the best of an awkward space. Went here on a friday night around 7 and it was busy without being crowded. It says there is enough space for 72 people but I think it can accommodate about 35 without getting crowded. There are restrooms inside the lounge which is great. They have a no cell phone use area also which is nice if you want to get work done. Now the negatives, first off there is barely any food on offer. When I went, there was 1 soup, crackers and a bunch of condiments. There werent even any items that could pass for hors douvres. The bar is sufficient but definatey more limited than what Ive seen at other lounges. The wifi although free was pretty weak when we visited which was strange since the place is small to begin with. Now, despite the shortcomings I was about to give the place a 4 star review because we were enjoying a relaxing time here prior to our flight. Felt nice to indulge in some conversation and drinks in a quiet and comfortable setting instead of over paying for tasteless, mediocre food and sitting in uncomfortable cafeteria chairs. However, in the midst of this moment of zen, the front desk lady came and informed us that we had to leave in 5 minutes. It all seemed a little abrupt considering she didnt tell us the place was closing in an hour when we walked in. Maybe 15 or 20 minutes notice would have been nice so we didnt have to chug our drinks. In addition to the lack of notice, the lady sort of hovered over us until we left which was a little off putting. The rest of the staff were really courteous though.Almost a 3.5 but not quite. 3 stars is being on the generous side.
Departures Only. Terminal B, 3rd floorPriority Pass allows you to bring a guestPros:-Awesome coffee, espresso, chocolate maker-desks with Herman Miller chairs-spacious seats and tables to lounge in-bar w bartender-you get a friendly reminder when your flight is about to departCons:-Limited options of foodOverall great experience and will be coming to the airport early just to chill at the Maple Leaf Lounge
Feel bad for the lone attendant being run off his feetThey are out of clean dishesThe bar is not open like other Maple Leaf LoungesYou have to wait to be poured a drinkNo sandwhiches. Just soup, salad, salsa and chipsBut no one can eat because he disappeared to wash more bowlsAir Canada posts massive profit and pays huge executive salariesBut paying lounge members are given this garbage setupThis is not the fault of the staff. He is alone doing the best he can

2022-05-31Considering how many flights Air Canada has out of LaGuardia, Im really surprised by this lounge. Limited food options (no hot items at all and the cold items arent great), very basic amenities, lacking for space, scant seating options and not very well staffed. The United Club Lounge right across is a lot better.Plus, you cant even pour your own coke or make a coffee and have to ask the very busy staff to do it for you.I saw quite a few people here bringing in food they bought from the terminal because of how paltry the food options are. Honestly, Im not sure you couldnt have a better time just sitting downstairs because this really doesnt offer much.

2022-07-07Sitting here now. It’s clean and the food selection is simple with few choices yet decent. . Nice selection of beverages. Surprising good beer taps.

2018-04-27Not a big lounge but a good selection of cold and hot food, beer, wine and other alcohol, tea and coffee. A quiet zone and some work spaces. Bathrooms also. This lounge is on the public side of the airport so allow additional time to get through security when you head for your gate.

2018-12-08This lounge is brand-new and a featured part of LaGuardias terminal B. Great selection of spirits and beer on tap, rivalling the selection in Toronto. HBeautifully laid out, with photographs and furniture effectively aligned to bring the space to life. Food selection is better than the previous pre-security lounge, with new options like pizza available.

2021-12-20It’s open as of 12/20/21 despite what Google says. Beautiful space, lots of room, views of the B gates (also quite close to the gates unlike Centurion lounge which you still have to walk quite far for), clean restrooms, grab and go food. The machines weren’t working to scan the Lounge access codes from a mobile device but the lady let us in with ease.

2019-08-17The maple leaf lounge in Toronto is fantastic. Multiple places to sit and relax or get some work done as you wait for your plane. The food is basic but quite good. The thai chicken curry soup was amazing and Im seeking it now. Clean facilities and friendly staff make it a great value. If you are eating even one thing in the terminal you might as well upgrade and get the lounge access.

2020-01-30Comfortable, spacious and bright. I notice a lot of previews reviews are old and the pictures look totally different to mine. The lounge is after security. When I poured my rum drink it kept flowing, I didn’t realize the spout would let me free pour 😊

2021-12-06Its reopen!! Reopened 2 weeks ago! Seating is great and the staff are very friendly! Even though there were no hot items on breakfast, the yogurt parfait and the chocolate quinoa was delectable! Great that this place is back open!!

2017-11-12Terribly depressing, nothing like Maple Leaf Lounges in Canada. Lounge was fairly empty on a Sunday afternoon with plenty of seating options. Amenities are very basic and actually make the United Club look desirable. Filthy, small bathroom and disinterested staff didn’t help the experience. Definitely NOT worth visiting. 👎🏿
