This space used to be a movie theatre, one of the best I think. Only I found out about it to late. Didn’t think it wouldn’t be around forever. Just one day, gone. But now I get fancy cheese at discount prices there. Sigh. I miss the movies.

Havent shopped at an Aldis ina long time. they do have a great corned beef as I get one every yr. Their prices are great as for instance 🥑 at Tops are not always good to last a day or so past purchase and are available $1-$1.50 each last few times I purchased themToday @ Aldis were in better shape and 6-7 medium size in a bag for $4.00. I hope they last at least a week. I am placing them in a brown lunch sack and placing them in the lower drawer of my fridge and see if they survive a few days or so longer.
Store is great but some of the employees seem to be in a terrible mood everytime I shop there. Its usually different cashiers. They seem to rush you as youre cashing out and dont act friendly. They just seem to be going through the motions and want you to leave the store as quick as possible. Really makes the shopping experience poor.
Hidden gem. If you dont shop here you should. We spend way less money now than we did going to Wegmans for everything. Produce is good, plenty of items, Ill be a regular now.
Just relocated to Buffalo and was so excited to see Aldis just a quick walk from my house. I have been to the Elmwood location on 3 separate occasions, and have waited in line for mor than 20 minutes each time. Today, with three items I waited in a line all the way back to the coolers (back of the store) for 27 minutes.
Cheap chocolates that are delicious and the best moist beef jerky and really interesting home knick knacks.
What can I say . . . I love ALDIS and you will to.

The cashiers are fast and shelves mostly stocked. Love this store. Only problem was carts not cleaned off and cleaning station (wipes) had run out. Otherwise fine. Everyone wearing masks.
Due to coin shortage, they require exact change when paying in cash.
Good pricing and nice deals on regular items
A good grocery, with decent quality food at low prices. Ive heard that the meat can be suspect, but I personally havent had any issues. The produce selection can vary, and is often very limited, but theyre also a much smaller venue than say Wegmans, Tops, Walmart, or Price Rite.While they have tried to update store policies to keep up with COVID-19 (sanitary wipes, hand sanitizer, and one-way aisles) I often notice other patrons treat such with blatant disregard. Apparently, the store policy is to require masks, but not follow up on whether or not patrons wear them, and walk the correct way in the aisles. Speaking with a worker about it, they told me theyre not allowed to say anything, but encourage other customers to do so instead.
I absolutely love this Aldis. Its one of my favorite spots. I never notice the store being messy, under stocked, or lacking in help/staff. The fresh produce is super cheap, grapes are on sale a lot, and all great quality. The organic, vegan, gluten free, and healthy options are endless and all taste wonderful at a great price. The staff are super helpful even when customers ask for extra assistance and always have a smile. I go here often.
Great new store! Usually in and out quickly! Up to $100 cash back at register! ( Better than $4 to $5 charge at ATM!) Awesome prices! Milk $2.15 per gal.!! Wonderful helpful and courteous staff! The only downside is limited selection on certain items. Example: Ice cream only 4 different flavors to choose from. Also, you must remember to bring a quarter with you if you intend to use a shopping cart!

Not disappointed yet. Chocolates are wonderful..frozen egg rolls..dumplings just the best. Bought cooking & baking ware.. happy. Steaks ..burgers just yummy. Fresh fruits & veggies..good selection. Shop at elmwood & maple both very good.

I have a lot of good products. But I do not recommend buying fresh meat its just not the same quality as grocery store like a normal grocery store. Some of their frozen meat is okay but you really have to try a few things before you really know what the quality of the product is going to be.

Always a good selection the fresh fruits and vegetables. I wish they sold more name brand products other than their own certain things you have to go to other stores for like Webbers Mustards in pickles
Very clean, always have everything in stock. The employees are very friendly and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. Currently the store is under construction on the outside of the store to update its appearance so some of the parking lot is taped off until August of 2019. 5 stars for location and staff.
Staff is nice & this store is generally well stocked. It is a fairly small store though. The produce section often leaves something to be desired. And sometimes youre not able to get all the ingredients you need for a specific recipe. However, they do have the staples and great prices.

Aldis has very high quality food! Their prices are unbeatable. You can literally get 3x as much food for the same price you would pay at other supermarket chains... And the quality is just as good! If youve never been there, you dont know what youre missing!

Absolutely one of my favorite grocery stores to shop at, excellent prices and great weekly specials always fresh meats cheeses small intimate no large crowds. If you havent been here or its been awhile get going soon you wont be sorry.

Lots of items are less expensive than other stores and healthier options. Watch for produce picks of the week. We always get kids rain boots here, available twice a year.

Great dry items. The produce leaves something to be desired. Their coffee beans are the BOMB. Seriously, you cannot beat there Organic Peruvian whoile bean for $5. Its my favorite home brew coffee out of everything Ive tried. The meat selection is great also. Other than that you can pretty much get everything you need here minus produce.

ALDIS is a wonder place to shop. It has the quality of a high end grocery store with out the frills. The store manager, Katie has always gone out of her way to make sure my experience was pleasurable. The staff has always done the same. I couldnt be happier with the quality of the food as well as the service.

Recently remodeled, this location is clean and cashiers are nice. Very busy location. Disappointed in the produce. Salad in a bag if it isnt already turning, it doesnt last long once you get it home. Same with the HoneyCrisp Apples in a bag (tasted like they fermented) and Necterines in a bag ((2), had mold where stem should be and on bottom, remainder of fruit didnt last long). All had been refrigerated. My guess would be having your produce display at your entry isnt a good idea. I think the constant exposure to temperature change has something to do with it. (Door opening and closing constantly). Turning the temperature down on your displays isnt helping either it causes frost and that too will deteriorate shelf life.
The store on Elmwood doesnt even compare to the store on Sheridan and Delaware Road its like day and night!!! They have the room for more products, but for some reason they dont bring them in!
No plastic bags which is a great thing for the enviroment so be ready My adult children love the truly exlarge pizzas. I spent $120 for food that at other supermarkets would cost me even twice as much. The fruit is ripe and has great flavor. They have brand names like General Mills and others. So good shopping try it once small order see what happens thats what I did. Not as fancy as other stores but there is gonna be a re-model starting June 19th but I am not eatting decorated just want clean and it was.
Aldis is simply the best place to purchase food there is. I just went in and bought enough things for a giant salad to feed 4 and smoothies for myself for a week for under twenty bucks. Try to do that at tops
Its a great store on great location you can buy good quiality grocery items also fresh produce fruits and vegetables in cheap prices. They also have little section of home decor and electronics. Some times Aldi have great deals on items that cant miss. If you miss the deal you wont get that item in that price on any store. So I always recommend going there buy some groceries and look for the deals.
The cashier ladies are always so damn sour and rude. There was snow piled up where 8 people were parked and there wasnt any visibility of the sidewalk or No parking yet the store manager called the town and everyone got parking tickets even though there was no visibility. The place always have soft produce or they simply dont have stock when its advertised. And when I needed to return a spoiled tortilla pack, they gave me another hard time. Its a shame because not all Aldi are this low-grade.

My favorite grocery store! Prices are so low and consistent. It makes eating fresh fruits and vegetables affordable. Their seasonal and specialty items are always fun to try.
There are some thing that I will get at Aldi to save some money. They have a lot of organic products for less then other grocery stores. They bring seasonal items in which are usually cheaper then other stores. Dont forget to bring your own bags or you will have to buy them. Also have a quarter handy to get a shopping cart. Overall they have something for everyone.

I find what Im looking for fast... The cashiers are nice... In and out in 20 mins tops unless a holiday is coming up then its busy but they make sure they have all hands on deck!

All Aldi are the greatest store for consistently affordable high quality stuff. Unbeatable price on fresh OK oj, organic as well as alternative milks, and Aldi branded groceries are consistently better quality than other off brands.Best of all their home products section has crack deals on various appliances if you catch them on time.

We love Aldis and shop there weekly. I generally buy all the staples there and then fill in the gaps at Wegmans. Aldis has really good quality dairy and produce for a fraction of the bigger supermarkets prices. Their organic product selections are growing too, and I believe the entire store is non-GMO. Prices differ a little from location to location - the rougher locations have the lowest prices. Unconditional money back guarantee on everything they sell, no questions asked. If you have a tight food budget and arent shopping at Aldis, youre definitely missing out. And if you love European prepared foods, cheeses, specialty meats, and the like, youll find some gems at Aldis. 2022-06-16So this is a good Aldi. But, holy smokes, their carts are the size of a horse drawn carriage. Drive carefully with these things, OK? I bought a whole lot of specialty cheeses, ice cream and ice cream novelties, some hot dog buns, Aldi buns are tender and fresh, you know that. Oh, I got these great strawberries, been buying them here for a year, cheap, perfect, red bites of summery sweet berry deliciousness. How am I doing so far? Canned fruit, mandarin oranges, always handy to have around. You know, I was going to write more but my Ive cream novelties are gonna melt, Im just sitting in my van writing this and wasting time but I dont want to risk the ice cream. Be cool, people. Eat strawberries.

2022-02-10Hello world, I want to thank all these corporation for bringing a more appealing Store to our neighborhood. Even though we live in the ghetto and the more lower-poverished neighborhood we would like a store quality that we get when we go out to cheetah while the Amherst and all the other cities. I always travel to those cities just to get the experience I get in those stores when I can have that right down where I live. So I leave this one to the owner continue to try to make progress in our neighborhood store to be more appeasing as the stores you have and the other parts of the city. The staff at our neighborhood store oh I love them they are wonderful they deal with a lot on a daily basis but they treat each customer as the first customer they probably have for the day so thats a good thing because they dont let the ignorance of others dictate how they react to us thank you again have a beautiful blessed day 🥰

Todays new choice, Lobster bisque, blueberry goat cheese and fig black sesame crisps With Corona, the store is clean, wipes are always available when walking in/ out and hand sanitizer is always available at the checkout. Huge supply of holiday supplies and gifts too😊🎄🤶

2022-02-13Only ever have 2 cashiers at the most with lines of customers to the back of the store. The aisles dont line up eith the registers either so people struggle to form lines. Not worth wasting the time to go here anymore. Need more staff
