ALDI in other cities:
This store is so clean and very nicely organized. The meats are typically a great price just like everything else. My favorite time to shop here is in the Spring. Around May they fill an entire isle or two with all sorts of outdoor goodies for the house or car at awesome prices. You almost have to go back a few times within the same week just to make certain you didnt miss anything.
Always the best in the area for cleanliness, inventory and availability. Huge shout out to KIARA. Yesterday, after quickly grabbing all my stuff from the cart she chased me out out of the store to give me a can of cat food (39 cents) Amazing customer service! She is going places with a work ethic like that!
This Aldi is great. Always well-stocked. The key is getting there either right after they open or early afternoon. Don’t forget to grab a bag or have a quarter handy because there are two cashiers checking customers out max, so you may be in line for a few minutes. Still, great deals and even better prices!
Produce had a lot of products completely empty, which is always a bummer because then I have to go to another store after Aldis to finish grocery shopping. When I got up to checkout the line was huge but within a minute 2 other lines opened up and everything went quickly.
I gave the restaurant one last try. The steak dinner was not good. There was too much fat and gristle. I was unable to chew enough to be able to swallow about half the portion of steak. The sweet potato was undercooked and the broccoli was overcooked. The waitress never came back after she brought my food. The restaurant has been hit or miss in the past. Unfortunately, I dont intend to risk my time, money or appetite by trying to eat here again.
I really do love Aldis! Its prices are always very reasonable and the cashiers are always friendly! Only thing is the produce can sometimes not be the greatest quality. However, the reason I dont change to 4 stars, is because the amount of sale items and discounts, at least in my opinion, make up for the every so often poor produce quality.
Do you need groceries? Cause theyve got em. Cheap too! Helpful and courteous staff. Zero. And I repeat! ZERO vampires have attacked me here. I cannot guarantee your experience will be vampire free, but all of mine have been and I frequent this store. So yeah, youve been warned. Also, dont complain about the cart quarter. It keeps the lot clean and most of the time I take mine back and dont grab my quarter. Pay it forward! 5/5 baby. Good stuff.
I typically like this Aldi location. Today, not as much. The store just looked messy. The staff was restocking, but there were items out of stock. Its Friday towards the end of the day and a lot of people shopping for dinner so I would have expected it to be better prepared. The main issue today is shoppers not maintaining social distancing and literally walking right up next to you as you shop. It not only happened to me but I watched it happen to others. Also, what is the point of wearing a mask if you are only covering your mouth and not your nose. It kind of defeats the purpose. The store has proper sanitation stations and they go the extra step to clean the carts. This gets 5 stars in my book.Unfortunately the Cashier looked worn out, so maybe it was a long shift for her. I go out of my way to be friendly and her response was polite, but there was definitely no interest in adding to the customer experience.Ill go back again and try a different day and time.Just wasnt impressed here at all.
Great place to grocery shop. The produce and meat are hit or mid, but there is great prices on everything. This is a great place to supplement other grocery shopping. Staples like eggs and milk are great. Snacks are good and cheap. Frozen food is alright. Dry goods are good. Some products like the shells and cheese are better than the branded version, but some products aren’t as good.
I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Aldi, but my experience today was great. Some grocery stores haven’t really been abiding by social distancing regulations, but Aldi has it perfected. There was someone at the entrance keeping track of how many people were in the store, so there was a small line to get in but it moved quickly. The aisles were clearly marked with arrows to direct shoppers’ traffic one way, and as always the cashiers were friendly and efficient. Thanks for a stress-free experience!
Very busy on a Saturday afternoon. I will be going back only during the week & in the morning. Couldnt even get down an aisle with the line of people there. Missed some items I wanted. Dont know if out of stock or I didnt see them. I used to be a regular customer. Will probably be going back for certain items.
I love Aldis, its a wonderful place to shop, their prices are wonderful, and the atmosphere is very relaxing, its never extremely busy and the cashiers have wonderful customer service. Oh and by the way I love the items that Aldis always has on sale Nike leggings, sneakers, stuff for the house, some very useful things and also the prices are great. Keep up the good work.
This store was recently renovated. It looks great inside and out and the shelves are organized in a very convenient way. As usual, the produce and dairy products are very very reasonable as is everything else. At checkout I found the cashier to be helpful and customer service oriented.
ALDI employee Paige (at the Sheridan Dr. store) made my experience there just FREAKN AWESOME! She was kind, pleasant, and above all, the fastest, most efficient cashier that has ever checked me out in ANY store period. Thank you Paige and ALDI for a most pleasant visit. Ill definitely be back! 👍😎
Remodeled and updated like all area Aldis. Products of high quality and low prices.Unique concept of little presentation, no plastic bags and carts with quarters to be unlocked. All makes sense, a concept I grew up with in Germany. I still love my Wegmans, but American grocers can learn a lot ..
First time in a store since COVID started. Everyone was wearing masks and social distancing as much as possible. All carts were being sanitized by an employee and dont need to use my own quarter, they all had quarters in them. Thank you Aldi for making this experience as easy as possible.
This grocery store knows what its doing. They have a good produce department, the meats are at a good price and theres always something yummy to be found in the frozen department. And then I need to mention the middle of the store. This is where youll find the non-food items. Believe it or not I have purchased a television, DVD player, a rug, many storage items and slippers from this grocery store.Go...Youll be pleasantly surprised.
Heard about an incident involving an oriental person berating a poor cashier over a bunch of bananas a few days ago.Customers in line started defending cashier and one even got into a heated argument with the agitator.Where the heck was the manager ?What so good about fresh veggies and produce if this abuse on display ?
Aldi on Sheridan Drive ,First its about the employees ( people )that work there always with a smile and Hello . Every question is answered even if they are unsure they take the time to find out , professionals and polite .Now the store itself , value for your every dollar and prices better than the rest without sacrifice on quality or taste .Oh , and a return , yup a smile and no questions ask with a reciept .And less size store really means a faster shopping experience which I love ❤Thanks Aldi for coming to WNY !Shawn @ SMT PARADISE 2020
Aldi’s is my happy place. As someone who gets overwhelmed by the unnecessary brand options at larger stores Aldi’s simplifies everything. I can still spend too much time there but it’s usually in the special buys instead of mulling over 75 different cereals. I can get my entire families food for the week for 75 dollars and with two growing boys having cheap bread and milk alone is a saver.

2022-05-24There is something special about this place. Its small, but somehow it packs most of the staples that you may need, as well as many things you didnt know you needed. The produce is excellent. The bakery items, not so much. Go to Wegmans, Whole Foods or Dashs for bread. But the prices are outrageously low, and the quantity per item is outrageously high. Is this what its like to shop in Europe? If so, Im packing my bags!

2022-07-01Great store, have some quality organic options. And, i got a product that was bad, went to return it and they gave my money back and a free item. Was pleasantly surprised.

2022-04-12Im normally not a shopper here, Im fairly busy, order from another grocery store and have my items delivered. However, Ive been hearing so many people talk about the prices lately, so I thought Id swing in.This was a much different experience from what I had many years ago at an alternate location that prevented me from returning until now. I mustve walked in at the perfect time...all of the produce was getting restocked and was as fresher than Ive seen at most larger stores. I expected to see a ton of off-brand products, but that wasnt the case at all. The meat selection was amazing, and the prices on everything were so much better than I ever expected. The store was clean, the staff was super friendly, checkout was quick, and I bought more than I originally intended (thats what happens when you like what you see!!!).I would definitely recommend heading over to ALDI, whether you need a few things or a whole cart full. Youre wallet will thank you!#aldi #grocerystore #supermarket #cheapgroceries #freshfruit #freshveggies #tonawandagrocery #produce #packagedmeat

2022-01-14I do not usually shop here but I was in the neighborhood on a Thursday around 5pm so I stopped to save time. It was extremely busy with the fast-paced Wegmans type crowd energy. Considering the foot traffic, very clean and every employee I encountered was helpful & friendly. Some shelves were empty but in my experience lately every Aldi I have been in has been that way so Im not holding that against them.

2022-02-16Used to be my go to place even though I worked 30 years at their competition,Wegmans. Finding that their pricing is less advantageous than it used to be.Used to buy maybe 90% of groceries there but now only about 30%. Maybe they are too satisfied with themselves.iam talking about Aldi

2022-03-15Good quality food for a lor cheaper than most stores. If you get fruit there eat it fast. It tends to turn quickly

2022-06-08Well, everyone probably knows Aldi is often out of certain items and the selection changes but you cant beat the produce prices and quality. They dont seem to carry boxes of tissue unless theyve been out for the month Ive been looking. Odd. Despite very fast checkout, they could stand to establish an express line for people with a few items or at least open more registers quickly when needed.

2022-06-02They have a great selection & the cashier was very sweet(most are not) plus the customer in line ahead of me let me go first since he had a full basket & I only had a few things!Kind of annoyed they stopped selling some things that were always selling out & brought in something different, I have food allergies & used to be able to depend on Aldi, not anymore, plus the prices just keep going up, ive noticed most things are cheaper at walmart
