ALDI in other cities:
Well stocked, easy to find what Im looking for. There is a great selection of items. 9/10 I can find everything I am looking for at Aldi. The cashiers are always quick and courteous. If I do have to ask for assistance with anything, they are always eager to assist. The store is well kept and the prices are very affordable compared to other supermarket chains.
If you think sams or bjs is good swing by here. You need your own bags to pack your shop yourself. Check out is quick and while it may seem like for ever its fast. Everything is cheaper than shoprite and its mainly organic. Great place to come and get a huge bulk and not break the bank. There cart system is one way to keep there carts in the lot. You need a quarter to get one when you go in and you get it back when you return the cart. Remember bring your own bags.
The food selection is always off brand but simple steps of trying to help you maintain health, a good alternative to save money but the snacks provided are awful store is rather compactful, but the cashiers are always nice or just doing their job, you know the face, overall pretty good.
I love Aldi usually. There is no store near me. Thus when I travel I usually seek a store out and spend around 100 dollars on groceries to take home. This store was not up to par of the other ones. I found expired salads mixed in with newer salads. Fruit was also mixed. A local shopper told me you have to be very careful in that store..
I really love it here. The selection of organic products is amazing and plenty. The prices are affordable and will help most any budget. The produce lasts on my counter but I tend to buy my produce from here for same or next day recipes. I am definitely impressed. Its a very different world in there compared to what I remember as a kid.
Always clean, affordable with super fast cashiers. Dont forget your own bags unless you want to pay for your bags at Aldis. My fave products there are the cranberry cheese spread, their yummy bagels and their chicken sausage. Customer service is hard to get because everyone is moving fast and its always busy. I think the cashiers prefer you to have your own cart but I keep forgetting to bring quarters. Aldis is my go to for every day items like eggs, milk, bread, cheese, juice and some veggies.
My favorite store. Always inspired there. Foodie paradise! Posted photos of my supper with products I purchased today.Lean beef provolone cheeseburger on brioche bun topped with steak sauce mushrooms&onions 3 bean salad and Organic tortilla chips. Check it out.#WHATSYOURINSPIRATION
Great deals, good quality. Has many of the products I used in Southern California. I like the pizza, marinara sauce, meats, and the vegetables. I love the breads--brioches. My favorite is the premade salads. I do like their kitchen supplies. Im glad they updated the store. It was ragged for over 20 years so I didnt shop there and at first wouldnt grace its doors. Not now.
Love this place great for produce, bread, milk, cheese frozen food, dry goods and alot more. Prices are unbeatable on most things.Every time I am in aldi I find another thing that we used to buy in another store that is a better product and less expensive then competition I really cant say enough about this store.
I started shopping here instead of Shop Rite. I cut my weekly costs for food in half and have better quality produce and meats. Their gluten free selections are good too. They dont have all the options for sides and sauces or ingredients I always need, but I save a lot of money here on the bulk of my shopping.
Friendly staff. Great, inexpensive selection of conventional foods and household products. There are some organic items available and the selection is growing. It is a nice environment to shop in, especially since the renovation.Be prepared with a quarter if you’d like to “rent” your shopping cart. The carts are great because there is room for two children to sit! It would be nice if other stores caught on to that idea. Also, bring your own bags to use to bag your own items. There are boxes you can use á la BJ or Costco style if you forget to bring bags like I did the last time I went.
Small and concise with what you need at affordable prices. Easy return, but make sure to hold onto your receipt for original paid for price. Make sure to bring a quarter for cart dispenser (it will be returned upon return of cart) and your own bags to carry out products. No bags are provided (think a la Costco and better for the earth!)
This store is really going downhill. Just brought spareribs back that I bought 2 days ago. Good through date is 2 days from now. They smelled AWEFUL! I have been shopping here for years and have seen it steadily decline. Refrigerators blocked off, freezer doors broken and blocked off FOR WEEKS AT A TIME! Its as if no one cares about the appearance of the store. It makes me wonder what happens behind the scenes. Ill stick with Shoprite and spend a few cents more.
A lot of great bargains. The products are good and it is hard to find products at the cost. Many unique and hard to find items. Make sure to take a peak at the circulars prior to going; the non-food merchandise is always changing. Great bargains on flowers, diary products and seasonings.
Place was packed. Manager stepped up to what seemed like a single line to checkout disaster. But...wait, 5 cashiers spring into action, surprised the whole store full of people. Like a well oiled machine and to a jaw dropping record time ,folks were out of the store in record breaking time. Kudoes to the Aldis team. We were all still talking about it in the parking lot. Never saw anything like it!!
I like the common sense details that they use to keep costs low: making customers provide their own bags (in NY that will be standard for all stores as of 3/1/2020), requiring a 25 cents deposit for shopping carts means that people return them so less car/cart accidents, etc. Their brands are comparable in quality to any supermarket chains. My only gripe is the very limited selection of goods due to the size of the store, but the comparative lack of crowds make this a cheap and easy alternative to Shop Rite.
Aldis is one my favorite grocery stores.Theres is a unique experience and provide a common sense approach to shopping and minimize costs. If youre ok with 25 cent deposit on the cart and walking it back to get youre deposit back youll be ok with the store. There offerings are simple and make the over all store size smaller and easy compared to gigantic stores. There name brand offerings are priced well and quality is excellent.Produce is fresh and plentiful. The other selections are great.
New Aldi store Renovation PerfectClean and Comfortable.Well lighted always pleasant store workers stocking a d willing to assist.Sadly they need to bring in more varities of different merchandise.More produce, meats and different merchandise. The prices are perfect and always enough of what they carry.
Always a great deal to feed a family. Where else can you go and get a full cart for 70 bucks. Sure a cart costs a quarter but you get it back when you return it. Bringing your own bags allows the cashiers to ring you up at record pace. Six people check out in the same time as one at walmart.
A poor mans version of Trader Joes, without all the hoopla. Selection isnt as extensive (its good nonetheless), but the pricing is better. Wont be a one stop for all your grocery needs, but you can do the bulk of your shopping here for a pittance. Re: this Aldi in particular, it was very recently renovated. Its clean and easy to move around.
Read up on Aldis values and why they are better. I buy everything there except cold cuts, as theirs are not fresh but preserved. All other products are superior quality to most name brands at a fraction of the price. I save about $200 a month feeding a family of 4 vs. another big store with a W on it. Really!
Great store, with a good selection of organic and gluten free products. If you research Aldi you will also realize it is a European owned company (same that owns Trader Joes) and consequently the food does not have all the added chemicals and BHT that the other stores do. Thankful to have this store so close by.
Good values and good quality, sometimes very good and excellent too. This company pays their workers more and treats them better than many other retailers, which is important to me too. With the new expanded, remodeled Aldi, Im certain they will be even more interesting.
I really enjoy shopping here because I love to receive the flyer in the mail to read about the weekly specials. I enjoy shopping here because of the food prices and even their brands are good I have not been disappointed yet. I love going up and down the aisles to find items that I would not find at other stores.
I shop at Aldis quite often & Im looking forward to the changes theyre making to the foods they carry.Great deals, great selection.Im only removing 1 star for the sometimes-iffy produce area. When you start to get to the bottom of the orange barrel, for example, you can find the fruit has been there too long & is going bad. Stay on top of it.Also, the fresh meat department doesnt have as great prices. But it always looks fresh and good, and when I do buy any Im very happy with it.
This place is not a good place for fresh fruits or veggies at all. The only way you can get lucky enough to get fresh fruits and Vegetables is if you get them as soon as they are delivered then you should be lucky of you get the delivery on a good day to have fruits or vegetables that are actually editable. This place is only good for items that are not fresh. Do you want to buy nice fresh hamburgers and hot dogs to cook on your grill... Then PLEASE LISTEN /READ ALL CAREFULLY... You want Nice Steaks. Or Chicken, Fresh Pork, Any fresh meat at all.... SERIOUSLY Then you DO NOT WANT TO GET ANY FRESH MEATS HERE!!! Even if you ate on a budget and want to try to do something good/nice and get fresh meat.. Do not try by buying this meat you are better off getting frozen neat from Wal-Mart or Shoprite, or just actually buy the meat from them. This place has went down hill all the way around. They do not care about quality at all, they do not care about who they hire either, they now hire people that have the least experience, they try to hire the youngest people possible because they are a scared of growth do the managers dont want to hire anyone that had experience because they look at them as a threat. Especially this ALDIS , in Middletown and Monticello NY that District Manager will not even look for someone who is more then qualified they instead say they found someone more qualified for the position, even though the person had no prior experience. Unfortunately the same exact thing happens with the Ditrict manager for the Newburgh NY store, instead of hiring 4 out of the 10 people that applied that had several years experience a,d open availability, She was threatened by their experience she even stated she rather hire someone with no experience so she is guaranteed her free company car, I phone, travel reimbursement, and her great salary she even stated she didnt have to be a regular employee for very long before she made it to her corporate position, in her words it pays off to do what works if you want to make it at ALDIS. So those 4 people did not get the jobs one girl did needed certain hours for ALDIS to work around her schedule, the other never had a job, the other person didnt work in several years. So is that really doing what is best for the company??? I dont get,it, but really I wouldnt waste money here unless you have no where else to go even then I would, wait and do everything not to give this place any money. The food is not worth it, the only thing might be ok is milk even then check it out make sure its fresh and date is good. We need to come together as one to stop this bs that these ppl in these businesses think they always get away with.
Love shopping Aldi. Its like a treasure hunt. Dont know what Ill find on sale. Dont know when I will be in the area to shop there so I usually dont have a flier or the chance to check online but Im rarely disappointed. Can usually find some decent produce. Occasionally butter is on sale. Will make it a point to stop during the holidays for the German candies and stollen.
They just reopened this Aldis location after 5 weeks of renovations and those renovations surely paid off. The place looks up-to-par with many other Aldi locations. You will save quite a bit of money shopping here while not sacrificing quality of food. Highly recommend shopping here. Just keep in mind that you need a quarter for the shopping carts and you should bring your own bags (they have bags available, but they must be purchased).Staff is friendly and nice. Many things are organic and their brand food tastes on-par with many name brands.
Love Aldi! Always finding something new to love. My biggest complaints are the space between the aisles and checkouts (very tight if there are lines and its busy) and that because they are always stocking, carts of merch are blocking the little open spaces there are. But the prices cant be beat and I love Aldi Finds.
I like this Aldis store. Its clean, well stocked, staff is helpful and pleasant. Aldi carries lots of interesting European items that I like to try. They also carry basic necessities cheaper than most stores. They have generic brands and some regular brands you see at the regular grocery chains. I like shopping here.
This is my absolute favorite store. Ecstatic over their reopening and it looks BEAUTIFUL on the inside. The only complaint I really do have is one specific cashier..unsure of her name but Melinda the manager on duty tonight should really take the time to address said employee (female w glasses) because she is extremely rude. I am appalled as to how I, along with other customers, were treated. I felt rushed and like I was unwelcome (maybe because they were closing in a half hour?) I witnessed her yell at kids and also snap at a young woman because she put her groceries too close to another customers. I really was disappointed in her level of customer service (I too work with customers and if i talked to them that way I would definitely be fired.) I just hope this was one unpleasant experience.
Wouldnt dream of going grocery shopping anywhere else...Items are constantly restocked and aisles are free from clutter.. 🔥 items are the focus for the weekly special which sell-out like hotcakes at IHOP...Aldis is a 🎮 game changer when it comes to organic and preservative free foods, because the taste, texture and quality cannot be beat...✋ stop by and be amazed by an awesome selection...
Generally, I love Aldi. This store was not well stocked today, and employees blocked off entire sections from patrons to stock shelves. I had to shift several items on my list to Price Chopper because they were not available at this Aldi location today. No time to run clear across town to the other Aldi store.
Really on a tight budget tbis month. Saw the closest Aldi to me (an hour) was open until 8pm. Drove all the way to it to find out they’ve closed for an entire month and didn’t update anything online!! Who thinks of calling a grocery store before heading out? So upset as a potentially great place to get groceries on a tight budget just lost my business entirely.
Very cheap food stuff will fit your pocket. Fresh meat esp. on Thursday mornings. Aldi did well by remodeling the store. But for health sake I would avoid the food that is packaged in China I bought a pack of salmon fillets but it really looked like processed fish. This is my opinion please dont hold Aldi accountable for my opinion but would not purchase that specific item again the skin melts like plastic on the grill. As far Aldi goes I enjoy shopping here I get more for my money.
Best super market in town. You can buy everything there. It is a small Department store where u can get vegetables, fruits, dog and cat food, breads sweets, screw driver. Hammer, tooth pest, brush, vitamin, children toys, some clothes, water, soda and much more with low prices.
Love this super market whether I am in Memphis or in the new York. Best vegetables, fruits, or spices, Aldi is the best place to shop because aldy has the best prices than any other groceries stores .besides food and groceries they have other things we need in our everydays life.
Wonderful store so many products gluten free organic I usually shop in the one in Wappingers and Dutchess County and I was up in Middletown and I find the store to be wonderful Melinda an employee I was able to ask a couple of questions so positive about the stores thats what I like to hear

2022-07-02I gave it one star if I could give it less I would for the reason: store policy is: employees are not allowed to help (check out or load vehicle) a severely disabled person that uses a power wheelchair and has very limited upper strength. (Quadriplegic). One of the employees disobeyed their store policy and did help me out but I would feel absolutely terrible if they would get reprimanded or fired for doing such a good deed. So corporate Aldi if youre reading this you need to change your policy because it is absolutely unacceptable. In the meantime I will be doing most of my shopping at Costco.

2022-06-27We used to LIKE shopping here (Middletown NY) and this is the 1st time back in a while. Like most stores, prices have gone up. But what was really upsetting was the poor customer service. The young girl at register#1 (thin & dark haired) was so busy chatting with the other cashier that she totally ignored my husband when he asked a question, never acknowledged us except for saying the total price and then turned back to chat with her friend. Very dissatisfied with her rudeness.

2022-06-14There prices are great compared to other supermarkets. The only downside is finding the best day to go food shopping when they have a variety of foods on the shelves.

2022-03-05Love this super market 95% of the time. Its clean. Price is always right. Great quality products. And sometimes great finds. Bottom line is good healthy food at an affordable price. The most recent favorite item of the day is the cauliflower pizza. As long as you cook it directly on the rack its great. My Munchkin didnt even know the difference.
