The Panni i got was the best ive had in a long time. Delicious an i plaan on returning often now that i know where you are.
I first called in asking what I could eat with my food allergy (I have to eat Dairy free). Alex took the time to let me know what I could eat and at that point I didn’t know I was speaking with the owner. Since then I average getting food from Alexander’s once a week. His breakfast sandwiches, homemade soups, and sandwiches are the best! Please try out both breakfast and lunch here! I’ve had both in the same day before. Thanks for the amazing food!

My partner and I grabbed lunch here the other day and the both of us were in awe from the quality of the food, but even more so the genuine kindness of the employee working at the counter! She made our experience one we appreciated even more. Sandwiches slapped too.
Overall just a great place. Food is always amazing. And theres something to be said seeing the owner there everyday, busting his rear, talking to the regulars, and being a genuine good person. A must stop in for lunch if youre in the area.
I hope everyone reading this review seriously takes it to heart. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Alexanders. They are always asking if they can do anything to make your experience better, and it so appreciated. They have a warm, friendly atmosphere that is great for doing work or just a nice lunch on a rainy Friday. The food is delicious and you can pretty much get anything youd like. I highly recommend The Know, especially if youre vegetarian (Im not, but its my fave!) Next time youre looking for a nice lunch in Binghamton, definitely go to Alexanders.
Great place for paninis, wraps, soup and more. Plenty of room to sit in. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. Had roast beef sliced so thick on a panini and took half home, delicious. Nice staff.
I love getting my coffee here. They are quick and efficient. Coffee that taste better than dunkin.This place has the best bacon egg and cheese.I highly recommend anyone looking for a good cafe or even somewhere to take your partner for lunch to come to Alexanders cafe

Sausage egg and cheese was weak. Put it on a round roll! Your food is good but over priced. The breakfast sandwhich should be alot better! Especially for the price...i check your menu daily..why not chili? Its alwaya the same old soups. You guys were my favorite but its been slacking...

Great special Cuban Sandwich! I went here for the first time on a whim during lunch. The layers were toasted evenly and the balance of flavors complimented each other. Although it was a bit of a wait, you cannot go wrong here.
Great food! Great service! My wife and I try to visit every other week or if were in the area. Usually get take out, but very relaxing and inviting atmosphere in the dining area. Have been recommending to friends and family.
We went here for the first time during restaurant week and we’ve found a new favorite restaurant. The staff was so friendly and kind, and the food was amazing!! I had the Reese’s cake for dessert and it was amazing! Thank you to everyone at Alexander’s! We will definitely be back.
I started with the Hungarian goulash soup that was different but good. My wife started with the Turkey Dumpling soup and she liked that. I had the Porky Panini that is basically BLT on steroids and it was good. My wife had the Chenango Panini that is close to Turkey Club with Cheese and that was very good. Staff was friendly 0lace was clean. Only problem was ventilation. You can smell all the odors of food and you smell like the place when you leave.
Their paninis are good, although Im not a huge fan of paninis. Their delivery service is prompt and courteous. I do wish they had a few other things on their menu, such as fries and perhaps a few other sides. Otherwise, their sandwiches are decent for a decent price.

This is a great little cafe! The employees are very nice and accommodating, the paninis are delicious, and its a quick and easy place to eat at. There is only street parking, but its usually easy to find right out front. Highly recommend!

I cant rave enough about this place. For a Binghamton deli, the people were friendly and the food was surprisingly good! Their take on a BLT panini was fantastic and free WiFi. Very dog friendly on their outside patio.
The scorcher (pictured below) is my favorite sandwich there. The staff at Alexanders are always very friendly. The food is a great price and everything I have tried was delicious.
Stopped in one day to try something new in the area and found my new favorite lunch spot. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. The daily specials change everyday and are always phenomenal.
Finally stopped in to check these guys out after hearing their advertisements for years on 100.5. Very cool staff and they have awesome paninis. Location is in an area with many cool old buildings.
This place has been here for around 2 years the owner told me, and I have never even heard of it. But wow was i surprised. I got The scorcher, A chipolte chicken Panini with fresh cut jalapenos and chipolte anoli. Best sandwich i have had in the area by far. The prices were reasonable, the staff was super friendly/ helpful, and if you dont see what you want on the menu just ask and they will make you what ever you want as long as they have the ingredients. (including a banana nutella milkshake or a peanut butter brownie milkshake!)
Small and very Smokey in the area where they cook and one has to order and pay. My friend has COPD and had to keep stepping out to breath. The side one eats was better. The food was ok.

Food was OK, but my food came to 15 and some change, they over charged my card over $20 only got back $16 of it after calling my bank after realizing the owner doesnt care that they charged my card more then once. Horrible customer service in that department

2022-05-08I walk by this place all the time, smells so good walking by, that i had to try it eventually. I was not disappointed. I had the chicken breast samdwich, it was great. The desserts that are served here are amazing. Cannolis, cheeesecake and more, very nicley put together. Its a little pricey but definitely worth it. Ill be going back sooner than later. Very nice place.

2022-02-08Alexander’s Cafe is an amazing sandwich shop cafe! With Alex Nichols, the owner, at the grill, this restaurant is a diamond in the rough! I have been there ten times or so and no matter how much time has elapsed in between, Alex has found a way to remember my order (I’m a creature of habit…so sue me!) although I should say that we became friends during my second visit as I was surprised to find that he shared the same first and last name with my partner. My third visit was to take my partner to meet Cafe Alex. :)They also do catering! I had some at a conference I attended.

2020-10-18I was at their shop on a late Saturday afternoon. I hadnt planned on stopping by, but I was quite hungry. It seems like a great place to have a meal and a cup of coffee with friends. Unfortunately these were covid times, so I opted for take out. The dining room seems to be open for limited seating and they also have tables outside.The menu options include salads, paninis and baked goods apart from beverages- hot and cold (they have smoothies). The paninis are around $10-12 and salads range from $5-9 depending on the size. They also have wraps and a few other sides. I ordered the Chicken Scorcher- it had grilled chicken, veg, mozzarella and jalapenos. The service was quick, the cashier was polite and friendly and the sandwich was delicious!! It was quite filling, I only managed to finish half. I also got a chocolate muffin from them, which ended as breakfast for the next day. It was great with coffee.Will definitely go back again :)

2020-07-20Great lunch food and amazing desserts! The lunch and breakfast stuff is standard cafe fare but they have some really unique options for desserts like turtle pie, cookies and cream pie, etc, and a nice variety of flavoured milkshakes. The staff is really nice.

2021-06-08This place is across the street from my office, so i frequent often. The food is great, i usually go with one of the days chef specials, Alex makes a mean panini. Im always a to go customer, but they also have a nice done in experience
