Had the pleasure of working with Mr. Jimmy during my recent experience at Alexandro Furniture today. Not only was he incredibly patient but he is knowledgeable and remarkably poised. Throughout my experienced today I never felt pressured to purchase from him or rushed so he could move on to the next potential sale. He was humorous, respectful and honest....like a friend would be and for that I am grateful. I purchased a few pieces with my mom whom he also answered her questions and concerns with ease. Because of his expertise and our rapport, I plan on purchasing more furniture directly with him as well as sending customers his way. The sales associate who helped, Donna, was fantastic to work with. She wasn’t pushy like most sales associates are at furniture places, she gave us our space and helped us pick a great dresser. Out of all the furniture stores we have visited Alexandro furniture 2480 Grand Concourse was definitely one of the best. While we were offered complementary treats and coffee while we shopped.

Had a horrible experience, as my wife and I went in to set a furniture set aside for a layaway. The sales rep by the name of Yoha was assiting us with the sale. She was being very insisting on financing the set. My wife told her various times that she was not interested. I asked her a few common questions as far as what was the return policy, and the fees, the sales rep was getting upset because of the line of questioning, asking why are we gonna bother, if we were just gonna return it. She stated that we couldnt pick up our lay away with a card, and it had to be done in cash, I asked where does it say we cant, she said that she is stating it, and thats it. She insulted me by calling me undesirable, in Spanish, and stated after we signed the bill of rights, that they have the right to sell the set if they choose, if someone comes in ready to purchase it, after the fact that we put a down-payment of $1000.00, just to instal fear into us, so that they can get the immediate sale, through financing. Ive never seen or heard anything as such, as everything stated was illegal, and non ethical. Do not recommend shopping here, as they try to pull a fast one, just to make a quick sale, by any means possible.

A year agoIts always a delight to shop at Alexandro furniture The salesman greet you as soon as you walk in the door, but if you tell them you are just browsing, they usually leave you alone until you are ready to purchase something or have question. Ive been to other stores where they just wont leave you alone.. Its a relaxed atmosphere at Alexandro furniture and you cant beat the prices , complete bedroom set for $1500 every where I been to want $2000. Great place Alexandro furniture
Best you can find. It’s a tribute to the manager Jeff, They are Courteous attending and truly care about their customers overall satisfaction. No high pressure sale here. They work with your home and budget. To see what suits you the best. They greet you warmly and with a smile. They treat you as if you were family. I’ve gotten follow up phone calls from Jeff to see how everything worked out, and... if there is anything else , My home it’s all done by Alexandro . And I will continue to be a customer. I’ve gotten compliments from friends and family that have visited my home. I tell them where I got it from. And recommend this store in particular. I have been looking for a large sectional at an affordable price and finally found one! I am so excited to get it right before the holidays and before family comes to visit! Received very delightful experience not long after entering the store with a very kind and understanding young woman. Told her what I was looking at on line and she showed me the items and because she seen I had a cane explained a few things and left me see for myself about what she said and I really did get what I really wanted and so far I am well pleased. Now I just have to wait for my order to come in and she also explained about the pick up policy. She explained everything to me going through the store plus as I was leaving she even told me about a lay away and I was interested. This was our first time visiting this Furniture Store ). It was a very pleasant experience. We were greeted by the door maria gave us the layout and allowed us to browse without being intrusive. We came for a couch, but left with an swivel accent chair and recliner as well. Maria was very helpful and answered all questions. Additionally, a male store manager also came over and introduced himself to us. Overall, this was an easy and enjoyable shopping experience.We came into Alexandro looking for ideas for our new home, and as always, we fell in love with what they offered. Jeff was super helpful with assisting us in purchasing our new bedroom set and didn’t force us into anything we weren’t interested in. Needless to say, we are very happy (once again) with our experience at alexanro

I dropped in here with knowing I wanted sectional but not which one and not wanting to spend too much time. Joey was exceptional! From the minute I told him what I wanted and he delivered in superb service. From sharing every detail about the sectionals, to whether it made sense in my space, to checking inventory, offering me the insurance and being personable throughout! I’ve been wanting a new sectional for a year and this was the quickest hour I’ve ever purchased something that made it feel like I truly got what I wanted what I wanted without compromising time, service and quality. Maria was exceptional and did not use the over baring salesperson hovering to push us to make a decision. She was patient, leaving us space and time to navigate the floor room and try out the furniture. When we had questions or needed her help she was right there for us. She gave us options when it came to making our final decision, even down the our court selection. Amazing and very fast service. The staff was super sweet, very attentive to what I was looking for, when I found this store I called and from the initial call to walking into the store the same day, I was really pleased, they have such beautiful items I wanted to buy everything, they offered water and coffee, very very friendly. Went Alexandro furniture with my mother- looking for a sofa and we ended up staying for a few hours, we had such a positive experience. We ended up getting alot more than a sofa, the prices are very reasonable and everything in the store is very high quality. The employees were all so nice and patient.Jim helped me and my mother, and I Was so impressed by him. He was super helpful, patient, talkative, he knew every detail about their merchandise. When I applied for credit with the company, I received a call from a lady named Ana she was super helpful and even gave me her cell #, in case I had any questions, one morning I even called her with a question while she wasnt working and she was so cool about it (sorry again Ana)but even then she answered my question and I swear I could hear her smiling through the phone. Go to Danny’s furniture on Fordham. The owner here is rude and wanted to speak to me like some uneducated person because I asked for the fake plants. He then had the audacity to talk about COVID and but never wears a mask. I will not shop here or recommend anyone to shop here. The owner is uneducated and needs to learn how to speak to people. Trust me you can get better furniture and better customer service somewhere else.

The staff is competent and attentive, and the store itself is spotlessly clean (including the restrooms, which are maintained at private home levels of genuine care). The solid build quality of their furniture and very competitive pricing make this a hidden gem worth visiting
I was passing by went inside to see what type of sofas and coffee tables they had with no intention in buying. However, I fell in love with one of their things and the funny thing is that I was in luck! There was a 3 day sale! But then again I thought they would be asking a lot like pay stubs, references, high credit etc. Which I didnt have on me. And no! It was an easy process with debit card and your social # you are good to go! It doesnt matter if you have bad credit they still let you take them; and I decided to get them because lucky me the sofas I liked were $300off! I will definitely come back! Awesome staff! Great prices1
Great experience! They listened to what I was looking for and found a solution and gave me a great package deal!!The only reason theyre not getting 5 stars is because the box spring thread was coming off on one corner and for a brand new box spring that shouldnt be but not significant enough to take back, ill just find some thread and try to sew the little gapmovers were also way after the time they said they would get hereagain, miniscule things, would still buy from them again because the customer service and pricing was exceptional and cancels out the miniscule things

We were greeted by the door maria gave us the layout and allowed us to browse without being intrusive. We came for a couch, but left with an swivel accent chair and recliner as well. Maria was very helpful and answered all questions. Additionally, a male store manager also came over and introduced himself to us. Overall, this was an easy and enjoyable shopping experience.We came into Alexandro looking for ideas for our new home, and as always, we fell in love with what they offered. Jeff was super helpful with assisting us in purchasing our new bedroom set and didn’t force us into anything we weren’t interested in. Needless to say, we are very happy.

She even moved a piece of furniture around for me so that I could see how one piece would work as a TV stand. I was able to choose my delivery date and the whole purchase process was quick and easy. I couldn’t make up my mind for the world of me on which couch to get but he didn’t rush me and told me to take my time. He was all smiles and offered water, coffee and snacks. What a great experience! Ana is by far one of the best representatives I have come across. She discussed each peice of furniture that we were interested in. Honestly, I wanted to love this place because it initially felt like the employees there did want to help us find something affordable and aligned with our needs, but now I am clear that they have both exploitative & predatory credit rates and methods. Their furniture is indeed overpriced given the quality. I bought a bedset from here 4 months ago, and the pain from the bed frame and dresser are already chipping. The paint is so cheap and low quality that a drop of eyeliner or hair product that isnt cleaned up immediately has stained the paint, and when i tried to clean it, it would immediately chip and expose the white underside. When I first received my bed, the headboard had a cut (seemingly from a boxcutter) on it, and the employees were so resistant to changing it because they said it mustve been our doing or that we shouldve noticed when it was first delivered. I am clear that their helpful nature is a facade to get peoples buy in, and their ultimate, most important goal is profit even at the expense of the customer.And if i were you, id be skeptical of lots of these reviews on here, given that when I visited, Alexandro himself took my phone and rated the store from my account when i simply asked him to look it up on google reviews. So save your money and time, and go elsewhere.

Terribly rude delivery workers. I tried to report them but was told “report them to who?”. Staff aren’t able to have reports filed against them, so it’s a gamble on service you’re paying extra for, beware.(For some reason they’re claiming im an ex employee.... 2022-06-13I wanna give 0 star to this place first time buying one simple item such a mirror and when I walk it the lady was nice ? But then when I was telling her about the mirrors? She wanted to charge me $700 ? I told her double check and she call the owner and the owner say it’s $350$ plus tax that it’s 31$ plus dilivery that was 80$ all together was $461 so I got the mirrors and the Dilivery it’s late I wanted all day and they came at 8:00 pm at night also when they brought my mirrors to my house the mirror was broken 😠 and I told the guy what gonna happen to my mirror ? He told me I have to wait until they call me ? And that when ?? This is a disaster? I will never ever buy anything on this place again please guys do your research I should of known better because it’s was on Fordham the Bronx ? I will sent pictures for u guys could see

2022-04-01The sales person at the store were friendly and very helpful. They gave us a fair price and took in consideration that we traveled a long way. The they stayed in contact of when the delivery was coming. The delivery guys were very nice set up the dining room set with no problems. They even brought extra chairs in case of any unforeseen factory defects.

I originally purchased a bedroom set too large for my room and before it was delivered Jimmy did everything to try to get me something that would work, eventho the contract States that the store is not responsible if something does not fit.He responded to every single call and text. 2021-03-08S always a delight to shop at Alexandro furniture The salesman greet you as soon as you walk in the door, but if you tell them you are just browsing, they usually leave you alone until you are ready to purchase something or have question. Ive been to other stores where they just wont leave you alone.. Its a relaxed atmosphere at Alexandro furniture and you cant beat the prices , complete bedroom set for $1500 every where I been to want $2000. Great place Alexandro furniture
