2017-11-13There is no place better than this one to hold a large scale meeting here in Columbia University. Too pity. Not that I don’t like this place, but because there is no other choice. I love my school, but NYC is so crowded here..

2016-07-31For being built in 2000 this is the most short-sighted, poorly-designed useless waste of high-price Manhattan land. It was built around the concept that students checking snail mail would be a social activity. The school needed more student space, so they supplied less! And more administrative space (needed like a hole in the head!) This building is short and simply useless and disappointing.

2017-03-10Who are all the people giving this building 4 and 5 stars? I could not think of a building less conducive to creating the atmosphere of a student center, a central meeting place for the campus, than a this building which has no center. If youre looking to run into someone here, you wont. Even though there is virtually no open space for students here, the paths between these spaces are labyrinths, so the space could not be more isolating.

2016-08-03One of the most poorly-designed buildings on campus. However, theres a piano lounge, some usable common areas, comfortable seats, a dining hall, psychological services, a package center, and more, so I suppose Columbia is making the best of it.

2017-08-03Columbias greatest failure. This building is essentially ramps and conference rooms. It replaced Ferris Booth Hall which was a building managed by students. This student center is managed by the administration who have only allocated 2 rooms to students so far.

2017-02-02Controversial ramp design, but otherwise a well maintained building. A nice gathering place for alumni.

2017-03-11Worst student life building ever. The ramps make most of the space useless.

2019-01-02Exquisite Glass & Stone sandblasted and carved the name! I enjoyed being a part of it...
