EDIT: After threatening to reverse the charges on my credit card they were able to deliver the treadmill. I raised the review to 2 stars as it took far too much effort to get the issue resolved. In response to the reply, if the company was unable to move the treadmill without additional cost then this should not have been promised. As it stands this WAS something that could be done since it was done.Original review is below:Completely unprofessional and disorganized. The job was not scoped properly so not enough movers were sent. The job cost over $1000 more than the estimate. They left our couch in the hallway of the old apartment building and had to come back the next week to get it. They were unable to get our treadmill into the new house at all. We were told they would have someone disassemble it, bring it in, and put it back together at no extra cost as long as we waited until a truck was going to be in the area.A month later they had not contacted us and did not return our calls at all. We only got their attention by posting a negative review. They then sent someone to drop off the treadmill, but did not take it apart and were again unable to get it into the house. Then they followed up with a phonecall to say that we would have to pay for someone to take it apart. No one at the company seems to communicate. This is most unfair to the movers who are doing the literal heavy lifting. They are being overworked, not being given the proper information, and out in the position to relay information from the bosses who are unable or unwilling to talk to customers directly.
I see there are other All American Companies. Dont confuse them with this company from Farmingdale, NY. This company is not the same company as some reviews shown! This All American is 5 stars and more! I have used this mover over and over again and highly recommend them to everyone! Many movers have a bad reputation but not this one. I am so glad I did the research, and I am happy to give them this glowing review. It is well deserved. This company goes above and beyond time after time. The customer service is awesome too. If you are moving ....whether far or down the block call All American Van Lines. Believe me you will be happy you did!
Moving to another state can be a stressful experience, especially when reading stories online of things going missing or getting broken. From the moment the movers came to my house, I knew I was in good hands. They were kind, smiling and they packed my apartment in no time. They were extremely professional and I was very satisfied with the experience.I would definitely use them again and recommend All American Van lines for your moving needs.
We moved from our 3 bedroom house into a new one and it was seamless. Great foreman and crew who consistently checked in with me about where I wanted to place my furniture. The movers were considerate and worked fast. I had a video chat estimate before my move, and it was spot on. Very professional and reliable company. I highly recommend All American Van Lines if you are looking for a mover.
In you are smart you will avoid this company at all costs. Unprofessional. Evan is the worst. A real megalomaniac. Canceled my move less than 24 hrs prior to pickup. Did me a favor. Found another company @ $ 500.00 less. Stay away because youll regret the time wasted. Scammers
I am rating all American Van Lines on Smith Street in Farmingdale. Two words: STAY AWAY!!! They are the worst. Yes, we had the obvious issues, such as estimates being way off and many damaged items. On top of that, movers showed up two hours late for a long distance move. One of the movers had an injured toe that was bleeding and he was wearing flip-flops during the move and could barely walk. This slowed down the move by hours. They busted a huge hole in our wall moving a couch and five seconds later denied it and claimed that it was there already. By the time we got to our new home it was dark out, and they did not have any lights. They were so slow and loud moving everything out of the truck that our new neighbors all complained because it was getting so late. We literally had to help them move our items in. Still, we did the right thing and give them a nice tip. Then, the following day we found out one of the movers stole our credit card number and used it to try to buy a meal. We were able to confirm his identity through the restaurant owner but the moving company refused to take ownership of the situation. So, I would find another moving company. Unfortunately, they all suck. So rent a U-Haul.
I booked this service 3 months before my move happened. When I settled on a price with the salesperson they sold me on how they were not a broker and they would not just show up and increase the price as a broker would. Not only that I asked multiple times what are things I have to do to prepare for this move thats not included. The agent quoted, Open the door and crack open a beer. This was far from the truth from the moment they came in they told me they were not packing or moving anything that was liquid which was a lot of things and not informed to me prior. Then hit me with so many fees and ended up TRIPLING the initial price because I have more stuff not to mention stairs fees. The salespeople here are very sleazily and dont tell you the full truth. In my honest opinion, they straight up dont tell you the truth, the moving staff is nice and great people but at the end of the day, I was completely lied to and will be NEVER using this company or recommending them again. Oh by the way the sketchiest thing that was not told to me was that everything needs to be paid in CASH at the end of them moving. This was not told to me and would have been helpful because banks close at 4 pm.
Had a great experience! My belongings were moved and partially packed from my apartment to storage (which was offered at the best rate compared to other moving/storage services I was in contact with), and I wasn’t even in the state due to Covid. They were professional, they got back to me quickly and were flexible. Big shout out to Jen who was super reassuring and helpful with the beginning steps and even followed up with me after.
All American Van Lines is our go-to mover. Our first experience made us immediate fans: the move was scheduled at the last-minute (literally with less than 24 hours notice!) but All American took that in stride and provided a competitive rate and a great crew who arrived on time, took great care with our belongings and could not have been more helpful. We have used All American for two more moves since then and will use them again when needed. If you want peace of mind that your move will be handled by a responsive office staff and moving crews who are punctual, efficient and professional, call All American Van Lines.
Awesome moving company. I could see right away the movers were professional and they worked fast. My move finished quicker than the estimate, so it actually cost me less than what I thought. I was worried about some of our furniture items, as they are fragile and have been passed down through the generations, but they wrapped and packed them so well, and it arrived perfectly in my new home. Thank you everyone at All American Van Lines. Im definitely going to recommend you.
So, originally from the start of talking to the moving consultant, everything seemed great. They were very responsive and helpful to all of the many questions and concerns I had. I was given all of the information I needed from the consultant, from pricing to possible up charges depending on how many items I actually had. Even the movers that came to pick up my items were great. It wasn’t until I FINALLY received my items that made me highly upset. First, the driver gave me a different price then the fine print, the consultant, and what the contract said! All three of these sources say that your first 75 feet are free and anything over 75 feet would be $75 per 75 feet. Plus a automatic $75 elevator fee. He tells me that nothing was free! He claims that every 50 feet is $100 plus a $100 elevator fee for my apartment. The total drop off, with just the walking and elevator fee was $700 he claimed. Absolutely Ridiculous!!! Because I didn’t the money to pay him that, he first said he would drop it off in storage. No sir. I told him as long as I’ve waited and as much I paid for this truck to drop off my furniture ($6,500) your going to drop this off here. So he ended up just dropping my furniture off in the lobby! I was so upset. But I didn’t have it, and even if I did, how are you just going to change what the contract said! That’s not right or fair!! I also paid for the service of the movers bringing in my furniture and unwrapping It in my house. However, instead I ended up having to take the furniture upstairs to the 5th floor by myself. This company is a scam! Also, I’m missing a consular table, my vacuum cleaner is broke, my T.V and computer desk is broke! Please stay away from them unless you just have money to throw away and don’t care about if someone tries to get over on you!In addition, I forgot to mention. During the process of waiting for my furniture, It was a frustrating to finally find out the actual delivery date. They were constantly telling me different dates.
DO NOT USE: This company will provide you a contract but on the day of your move, the movers will tack on additional fees and tell you to sign a new contract or else theyd leave your things behind. Even if paying an elevator fee, if youre on a top floor, they will tell you to pay an additional long carry, fee, which is a charge from the door of your apartment, to the truck. I lie not. They will charge you extra from the door of your apartment to the truck and threaten to not move your things. The company rep went M.I.A. when I reached out for help so I was forced to sign the new contract. Their TRUCK BROKE DOWN and I did not get my things for about ONE MONTH and still they insisted on the additional payment! They didnt consider a discount for the inconvenience or at the very least even honor their initial agreement after the delay. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. BUYER BE WARE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY NO MATTER THE PRICE because they will COST you more in the end. #DISTURBINGTRUTH
These guys were great. They always called back immediately. They gave me by far the best price. They told me exactly when they were coming...came on time...packed my stuff up carefully. And my son got it the next day. I was kept in the loop as far as timing, etc. I would definitely use them again.
Long distance move. The first estimate was way off, so a second guy did a more realistic estimate, however, the final cost was still 30% more then estimated, over triple what the original al estimate was. The movers tore up the front lawn while moving items into the truck. Our items were delivered 5 days later then we were told they would be there, and when we called to ask for updates it was near impossible to get anyone to answer or call back. When they finally contacted us, we could not get a straight answer to what was going on. In addition, despite the contract saying to pay the final amount at time of delivery- they threatened to hold our belongings until a payment was made. Once we finally got our belongings, we found some of our items were broken from lack of care when dealing with the belongings. The company told us that they were not responsible for the damage. I know that moves are challenging, but as someone who has moved a lot, this company has truly shown me what lack of customer service and dishonesty is.
The worst movers ever. They ripped the material on the arm on my couch and broke a marble end table that I have had for decades. In addition, it took them 3 weeks to deliver my furniture. Several boxes look damaged and I open them up a glassware was also broken. Do not ever use these people.
Moving is a stressful process. Ronnie and his team were fantastic! Fair price, dependable, reliable and overall just great! As a nervous mom who was moving her daughter 5 hours away they made this process much easier for me. I will be calling them when its time to move her again.
Ive used All American Van Lines twice to move cross country. The office staff is friendly; the rep that came to the house (Arel) was so great the first time I asked for him to be sent out again the second time; the moving crew was great as well. The first time I used them I did a full 2-bedroom move. The night before expected delivery I was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. The moving crew treated my sister-in-law, who received the delivery, with the same respect as they gave me. The second time I used this company was after my grandmother passed, and I sent for some of her antique furniture. Arel met with my father, and helped schedule the furniture move. Everything arrived in great shape both times. When the movers were going to be a little late during the second move, they called me way in advance to let me know they were running behind. Pleasant and respectful all around. Id definitely recommend them to anyone!
This company is unprofessional and looking to scam customers. After they pack your belongings in the truck and arrive at your new home they expect to just drop everything off and leave it at the curb. There were only two guys and upon arrival to the new home one guy refused to work he just sat in the truck. My fiancé had to unload the truck and bring everything in with the guy that would work (who was helpful and professional). When my fiancée was unloading he noticed that 3 pieces of furniture were damaged. One of which is a custom made headboard costing more than $3k. After everything was done the guy asked me to write down my credit card number on multiple papers, he took photos of it and even carbon copied it as well but refused to give me a receipt. My fiancé thought something was odd, he called the company and talked to an agent named Rawlam. Rawlam said he would send over an invoice before they charged us but they never did. 5 minutes after the movers left I saw three separate charges on my account totaling $1,700 for a move that we agreed and signed off on for $800. We understand that things get damaged during a move and that rates may increase but this company is sketchy and looking to scam. Rawlam said he would make right on this and we really hope he does or we’ll be seeking further action.
If possible I would give them 0 stars.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!This was the most unprofessional experience from beginning to end. My move was back in July, the reason I waited so long to write this review is because I disputed the charge through my credit card company through which I found out a written estimate is not an acceptable document to dispute a charge because it is only an estimate. I was quoted a price of $636.00 to move the contents of a one bedroom first floor house which consisted of a bedroom set, living room set, one TV, a weight bench and 18 boxes. Which I thought was a good price to only later be charged $1,150.50. They estimated the move to take three hours which it should have but due to inexperienced movers it took six, so not only did they waste three extra hours of my time they charged me almost double of the original estimate. I brought this issue to the attention of the manager, whose solution was to refund me $25.00 to which I declined. To reply to your response, I was not trying to cancel the payment just pay the price I was quoted, i was even willing to pay up to $200 more because I understand and respect peoples time but almost double is absurd. I did call your customer service and their solution was to refund me $25 after charging me $500 over the original price quote.
For some reason the company keeps removing my review but I just want to let you guys know please don’t use this company they are a complete scam I was robbed for 4k worth of items broken tv some merchandise damaged I really don’t understand how they keep getting away with this stuff that their doing to hard working people when some people try to give this company a chance but they showed there true colors with me. Had my items in their warehouse going through my boxes then re taping everything back up then they tried to change the name of the company to cover up there tracks it’s really sad everyone at that company should be Ashamed. Ronnie and ziv
Professional, kind and super strong. My elevator is so small, movers had to carry my heavy Sofa, three floors. They did it in an heartbeat. I was worried for my mom’s experience China. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Nothing was damaged or broken .Thank you All American Van Lines . I will definitely recommend. Best moving Experience, I’ve ever had
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!They claim to be Professional Movers but trust me...they are NOT!I used All American Van Lines based in Farmingdale NY specifically because they stated they were professional Piano Movers. And of course I was charged extra to move the Piano. When I unwrapped my beautiful white Baby Grand Piano I was heartbroken to observe that it had extensive damage.Arel the Manager offered to reimburse me $100, even though the repair cost $450. But he wanted me to sign and notarize a Form that forbids the Customer from writing a Review! That’s unethical and goes against every American’s right to Freedom of Speech. All American Van Lines thinks they can shield themselves from poor Reviews by bribing their Customers for $100??? Not this Customer!!I experienced multiple problems with All American. Both my Bedroom sets were assembled incorrectly and they had to send a Team to rectify the mistakes. They damaged and chipped pieces of my furniture. They ran out of proper moving supplies and wrapped my good Dining Room Chairs in dirty moving blankets. They chipped paint off the newly painted walls. They took hours longer than required because they were Bunglers - far from professional movers!A HUGE MISTAKE- DO yourself a favor and use another company!!
I have never written a negative review about any business before but All American Van Lines did a horrible job. Broke a number of items, damaged our new home as they carelessly moved our stuff in, rude foreman. They never finished the job leaving beds and other furniture in pieces. They sent an inexperienced crew, an undersized truck. Our experience could have not have been worse. For the record, this is my edited review. All American responded to my review three weeks after I posted it. This is indicative of the care they have for the customer, which was very poor in my experience. Every time I walk into my home, I have to look at the hardwood floors damaged by movers who showed no care for either the house or the furniture. Also, the walls going down to the basement were damaged by the movers, my furniture was damaged. My wife and I dont have the money to fix anything yet so we just have to live with the horrific job All American did.
These are the most untrustworthy people. They promised us a smooth move with professional people and we got the complete opposite. There was not one part of the move that went well. More than half my stuff broken or damaged. The staff did not handle anything with care. I am heartbroken over this. Plus they tried to upchargd me because their staff took too long and blamed it on me for having “too much stuff”. Isn’t this why they sent someone over before the move? They had an inventory of all my stuff needed to be moved. All in all, this moving company is horrendous. Please do not use them for your move. There are so many other companies to choose from. This company was not careful, not professional, and left me with thousand of dollars in damage.
We Moved from New York to Florida and were skeptical with going with any moving company, we wanted someone honest and trust worthy. Someone recommended Ronni- with all american van lines. Our move went very smoothly, everything was picked up on time and delivered on time. the movers were very kind and careful with all our furniture and belongings. we were very happy with our experience and highly recommend them.Thank you for a great experience!
We moved from Forest Hills to Long Beach. We got a great team. They swiftly packed/wrapped all the fragile items (e.g., mirrors, TV) and other sensitive furnitures. They worked efficiently and with perfect coordination so we finished it earlier than estimated. No lost items. No broken items. No damaged items.A great job and experience.
Horrible experience with this company. First they took forever to deliver my things. And instead of them keeping me updated, I was the one who had to call them after waiting so long. Then they charged me an additional $1K (give or take), when all I had was things for a one bedroom. Overall i was charged almost $5K. THEN my biggest headache, some of my things came broken, including my TV which I payed over $1K for. All they offered me was $200 for everything. At this point I didn’t even want that from them. Dealing with them was the biggest stress and headache of my entire relocation. Don’t waste your money.
The team at All American Van Lines was wonderful starting with my initial phone call to them. Everyone I spoke to was polite, helpful, and very professional including the customer service representatives, the person who came out to the house give us an estimate, and the entire moving crew on the day of the move. All were excellent! We were moving my elderly father and it was stressful for our whole family, but the team at American Van Lines kindly and patiently answered all my questions, and always promptly returned my calls. All American Van Lines made my fathers move as stress-free as possible. It was a pleasure to work with such a professional team.
Wish I could give zero stars. I’ve moved 6 times within NYC and out of state and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Movers arrived late, spent most of their time outside smoking, tossed crystal lamps into a box without even wrapping— the list goes on and on. We had broken wedding plates and deep scratches on custom made elm dressers. I was 6 months pregnant and pitched in moving boxes so we could get the job done. They didn’t even finish moving us! Left several boxes in our old apartment that we had to move ourselves. Spare yourself the misery of dealing with these guys unless you relish paying thousands of dollars being brought to tears by lazy, incompetent movers.
Started out with salesman Ziv. Felt safe with him. Gave me a BOTTOM line price and assured me it would not change if my inventory didnt increase. 3 movers in NY were quick and careful. Only down side was leader of the 3. He was unprofessional. Questioned a $60 tip. I gave them a bit more to ensure my stuff would be ok. It was. Ziv said he would address it. 2 movers arrived next day in RI on time and without lead guy. They were sooo nice and quick and careful. All was intact and that is huge. We will be using All American again in next yr as we have more to move from New Rochelle, NY to RI
American Van Lines was efficient, quick and overall a great experience. Price was average compared to other movers. I was impressed with doing an estimate on FaceTime rather than filling out a form. They could SEE what my furniture looked like. I would definitely use them again
There is really a big difference between the movers and the front office. The movers: very professional and did a great job packing my old apartment and moving my stuff to the new apartment, 5/5 there, no issues. The front office: lots of issues, including telling me I have to get to my new apartment hours then previously disscussed and then double billing us for certain parts of the move. Poorly organized and really seem to abuse the moving crews. 3/5 at best. You will need lots of patience to deal with them and make sure to get everything in writing!
The movers were reliable, courteous and always performed their job willingly and just made an extensive move so easy. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use their services for any future moving needs. They were very professional and knowledgeable in their performance. I would give them 5 stars for sure actually six.
Great experience. The crew and the lead Brian were all very professional and respectful of my things. We moved out of a big home into a small apartment and they did everything they could to make a stressful situation go smoothly. I highly recommend All American Van Lines to anyone. Thanks to everyone including the sales rep Israel to the dispatcher Rolands and the entire moving crew!
When I moved from my parents home on Long Island to Astoria, All American Van Lines made it a painless trip! I had so many valuables that I was petrified of entrusting with a moving company, but they made me feel safe in my choice. Not only will they go the extra mile to make sure your possessions are in good hands, but they also dont overcharge you or charge you extra for any of their services. An upfront price is all youre expected to pay, which makes moving a lot less stressful!
These people are the biggest scammers, thieves and liars I have ever met. They are the most unprofessional and incompetent movers, who have no idea how to treat a customer. They did over $10K damage to my new house because their men failed to take care and put down dropcloths. They broke 4 full boxes of items, many of them sentimental, scratched my furniture and lost pieces necessary to assemble other pieces of furniture. Their men were incompetent, rude and unprofessional. THESE PEOPLE WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE, as they did mine. Before you book, READ THEIR REVIEWS ON YELP...you will find that most people had the same experience that I had. They are the biggest criminals and refuse to admit they they were wrong in destroying my house and my sentimental items. They could care less about you as a customer and all they care about is your money. THEY WILL PULL A CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH-they will lure you in with a low estimate only to triple charge you after the move is done. They are not equipped to be in this business, let alone handle a move that is bigger than a condo. They are liars, thieves, cheaters and crooks...DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU. They took a huge chunk out of the side of my hutch a tried to cover it up with tape. They scuffed up my brand new wood floors bc of their incompetence. They put dents all over our walls from not taking any care when moving our furniture. Please see all the pictures I uploaded.IN REGARD TO ALL-AMERICANS POST: Again, they are liars and are trying to save face. The company does not even have a real insurance company with which to file a claim. They use a baloney claim management company, with who they are in cahoots with. For $10K worth of damage, they awarded me $141...what a joke...and I still have not seen a dime of that money. They are the biggest liars. I pointed out every single item that was to be moved when the estimator came to my house...I lived in a 5000 sq ft house and they sent me a small box truck to move all my stuff...stuff couldnt fit in there and they refused to send another truck,, they threatened me and told me they were going to hold my stuff hostage..it just got worse and worse..i was home alone with 2 young children and I was afraid all of our belongings would disappear.READ THEIR REVIEWS ON YELP... disgusting and deplorable how low they will sink and what they have done to customers. They could care less about leaving a customer happy and all they care about is money. They cannot handle a move any bigger than a small apartment or condo (those are their only positive reviews). PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS...they could care less about doing the right thing and keeping the customer happy.
Last year, when I was looking for a moving company to handle my interstate move from NYC to Austin, I came across all sorts of horror stories on the Internet. I decided to go with All American after doing some basic research and finding out that they are BBB-accredited. On the whole, I am satisfied with my experience. While they are not perfect, they are professional movers and satisfactorily resolved the minor issues that cropped up. I would recommend them to others.
Probably the worst moving experience Ive ever had. To begin, they were 2 hours late. When they arrived the guy incharge ( there were 3 men) had the WORST attitude, I immediately wanted to cancel after the way he spoke to me and my husband, Ofcourse I didnt because we needed to move that day. The move goes by fairly quickly and normal, I leave a decent tip (Im not sure why, purely out of pressure and social ques I guess). After the move and unpacking I see that my marble side table is broken, I follow the process of filing a claim and after they replied back-NOTHING. Two weeks later, Im charged $272.63 EXTRA because they moved more than what was listed in the pre move list I filled out, which is not true and I contacted them to tell them this was not accurate. Ofcourse no response. So If you want to be charged extra and be rudely spoken to them please use these guys.
Slim, Emmanuel, Corey and Brian & All American Van Lines are the Best! And thanks to Ziv, who gave the estimate, and the people in the office who were always there to answer a question prior to the move. After living in my home in Woodmere for 38 years, we moved to the beach! You can imagine the amount of stuff we had to moveLong story short, these guys moved everything and1. Did not break anything2. Packed anything that we had forgotten to pack3. Treated our possessions with respect4. Were friendly and courteous5. Worked fast and hard -- it was tiring just to watch them6. Really knew what they were doing7. And came in at a net price over $1000 less than a local neighborhood movers estimate! What else could you want in a moving company?
I wanted to reach out to you concerning our experience with All American Van Lines. The three gentlemen who arrived and moved for us were amazing. They were polite and courteous throughout the whole move. They worked in the rain under difficult circumstances. The gentlemen worked hard and everything was handled professionally.
So, a former co-worker of mine was moving and happenedto mention the fact as we had caught up a few weeks ago.He was searching for a moving company to help out withthe major moving while he needed help with minor stuff. He called up All American Van Lines and hoped for thebest. He was a bit nervous, even after a reassuring callby the company. The day of the move, he thought hewould have to stand over the guys as they moved stuffout of his apartment and into the new place. But not onlydid he not have to worry because the movers were efficientand worked well, but they did the job in half the time thatit was expected to take. The guy was so amazed at thejob All American did that he couldnt stop talking aboutit for a week after.
The guys at all american are cool and they package things well. The pickup went like clock work. They called at first asking if they could be a little late. I explained that i had another appointment and gave them the time frame for verizon to connect netwotk at my new home. They made an exception and came before that time. If i didnt have the appointment with verizon it wouldnt have been an issue if they had to come later. They understood and really worked with me. No scratches at all on anything. They unpacked everything just as fast and placed items where i needed them to go. Conversations we had about marvel comics, is jean grey dead or is she alive based on movie..of course jean grey is the phoenix and will always rise from the ashes. Talked about world cup. It was cool and they still packed the truck lightning fast. They had other appointments that day and really made the effort to get to them on time...you could see that in their work and actions. I gave the room type with majority of items i needed to move so they can prepare better when they come to move and gave a flat rate depending on the timeframe and items needed. If you pack things yourself and leave the big items for them to pack like table and couch and beds the move is really fast. If you rely on them to pack then the move will take time. But they will do that.Awesome!!!
We were very pleased with the work done on site by Kyle and his team. Kyle goes the extra mile! Not only did they do a great job moving our possessions, they were a pleasure to spend two days with. They were professional, respectful, and very hard working. What keeps this from being a 5 star ratng is misinformation given to us about moving a pool table.
All went well … packed and tracked all items and confirmed all when dropped off. Pick up and delivery was within 2 days covering 700 miles. Cost, considering their truck, people, gas, driving, etc. was very reasonable. Slight confusion and call back delays when dealing with office people but all worked out. Also, no intensive sell pitches and constant annoying calls like was received from other providers.
They never sent a final invoice. I requested it, and once I added up the charges, I over paid by $2,050. Now, theyre not returning my phone calls or emails. If I were you, Id run like hell from these folks unless, like me, you have legal representation who youre ready to call since they seem to be unable to figure out how to issue a refund.
Steer clear of t these scammers. I trusted them with my furniture and they destroyed it. They talk a good game but will ruin everything you own. At the last minute while theyre loading my stuff to help me up for another $900. That should have been a clue. True scammers they talk a big game but cant deliver on unbroken furniture . They delivered one antique chair literally in pieces to my front door. Leather sofa skinned and destroyed. Legs broken of chairs and tables. Almost everything I own has a mark on it scratch for tear. You know I did a lot of research to pick a good company they must change the name on a regular basis. They were not cheap so I would go with a brand name mover instead of them.
We had a great experience with this company.. They were efficient and fast.. they make sure you will get what your moneys worth. Usually moving is expensive and stressful but with this company everything had been well taken cared of. Highly recommend. Will hire them again if we move vack to NY in the future.
Four gentlemen came; they were polite and professional; they worked fast being considerate of the hourly rate; they were careful with my things, wrapped and boxed things correctly; they drove to my new location and worked just as deligently and efficiently; they set my things up and always asked where I wanted things to go; I highly recommend this company.
Let me start by saying that these guys were the best.i dont see how they could any negitive results because they knew exactly what they were doing.I was very impressed and they called me ahead of time to give me time to get there .thanks to Jen and her team of professionals that got the job done.thank you, thank you thank you.
Men were very good and professional .Packed everything carefully and got to destination on time. Unpacked truck and everything seemed as was before leaving its destination, .Most important was only a little bit more than the estimate. I figured it might be a lot more .They were honest and very good
I use this company exclusively for my personal and professional needs. I have had nothing but a positive experience. Scratch that, a GREAT experience. There is no one more gentle and caring that Ronnie. This is a tough industry yet Ronnie is kind, caring and fair. A true diamond in the rough.
POLICE CALLED. They demanded I pay them in all CASH after loading the truck for twice the quote.PENDING LITIGATIONThey offered no formal paperwork for new estimate. I immediately called their HQ / Booking to verify got No response. They drove away WITHOUT WAITING FOR THE POLICE TO ARRIVE.
Oh man what a great company the guys broke there backs to make sure I was happy they are probably the best company for moving around, not only did they come on time and ready to work they protected all of my items and set them up at my new house I could not be happier, thanks guys!!!

2022-07-13This company is the worst! Do not use them! Look at their Yelp Reviews. You will see the truth about them.I had my hottub in storage with this company for over 9 years and I paid Ronnie over $11,000 to keep it safe. He sent it back after 9 years filthy, boot marks in the tub, 4 panels missing from hottub, heating element gone, main control board gone, four pumps gone, and they gave me back the wrong cover.Ive been speaking to Pali, a supposed manager who lacks customer service and interpersonal communication skills. All she does is scream on the phone and deny any wrong doing.Seriously, worst company ever! Im shocked as Ronnie the owner seemed nice on the phone but now hes disappeared. Supposedly hes ill.I will not give up until justice is served!

2022-06-04After showing up over an hour later than given window, the driver hit a vehicle trying to park at my first location. Then after wrapping and packing my things, two large furniture pieces were just left in the driveway. At the second location, the driver took two and a half hours to get to. Wrapped and packed all my belongings and again left furniture that they did not go back to get. The whole time one of the movers continually called me “baby.”After asking several people, I never got an estimated delivery date! After complaining I was ignored for a week and FORCED to pay my FULL invoice despite not having all of my furniture or they would put it in storage I wouldn’t have access to. This company is a joke, they hire anyone, no one is accountable, they just want your money.Ps. This absolutely is the same company. So don’t reply to me telling me I’m complaining about some other company. Cause this is you! All American Van Lines!!!

2021-02-05I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!First I would like to say that this has been the most DISASTROUS and DISAPPOINTING move I’ve ever had and I’ve moved before. I was told that it was one company and not contractors or subcontractors but that was a LIE!I was told that EVAN would be my main point of communication instead of a dispatcher but that was a LIE! I was told that I would get free redelivery and into my storage unit but that was a LIE! Instead all I got was their VOICEMAIL every time I called, the RUDE DISPATCHER LEO who expected me to put myself at more expense to accommodate him without the understanding that I’m not made of money. YOUR RUDE DISPATCHER told his drive that he should leave my things at the gate and I should move it myself and when I said no he left. YOUR RUDE DISPATCHER then made his driver LIE to me and say they were taking my things to a warehouse 15 MINS away to a smaller truck and would be brought back to my storage unit which was a LIE because we sat there waiting for an HOUR before he called me to tell me they weren’t delivering my things and YOU explained over the phone that I would get my things the next day without a fee but again that was a LIE! When trying to get in contact with any of you, NO ONE was ever available to answer which is very UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE considering these were MY things they were holding hostage. In the end, I had to pay way MORE than I had budgeted for because I trusted in what you sold me. Your ENTIRE operation is a JOKE and A BIG RIP OFF and I should have listened to the REVIEWS which turned out to be TRUE! I had to throw out my dresser because all the legs were broken.

2019-06-26I have used this company many times. They are fantastic and reliable, and the prices are really fair. I used them for 4 or 5 moves over the past 10 years, and the crews are always helpful and trying to please. The last move was multiple locations, 2 trucks over 2 days. Everything went perfect. The office goes out of their way to accommodate. Every friend I have ever referred to this company has thanked me afterwards (lost track - but probably 10 or 12). I have no doubt recommending this company

2021-12-22I have moved many times while in the military. I know the schemes that they employ to get your service and then use tactics to raise the price. When I decided to go with All American I was on video for three hours, going through all the furniture I had and even gave measurements of everything. I had some marble tops and large furniture which we accounted for. I was told that they would use extra care to package the marble and was given reassurances that it would be done correctly. I was very clear with Josh (first contact) that I did not want for them to arrive and then tell me that my goods were over the allotted cubic feet and for them to gouge me for more money. So, I agreed to 200 cu/ft extra just to be sure. We walked the property and I told them to NOT bring a truck larger than 22 ft as it would not make the turn into the driveway. He put this in the notes for the movers. Just to be sure, we added the long haul fee onto the contract. When the moving day arrived they had given me a time of 8am-12pm. They showed up at 3:30pm with a 36-ft truck which could not enter the driveway. The driver, Pancho then did a walk around my house and told me I had more household goods than was stated and would cost me more money. I became furious as Josh had assured me that this would not happen. I was then told that they would have to rent a shuttle truck to bring items to truck. I told him that I paid a long haul fee, but he refused to walk. The shuttle fee would cost me another $1,200.00 I said I would not pay this and tried multiple times (more than 15x) to call Josh. After more than two hours I became so frustrated that I just told them to leave and I would find another means of transportation. It was then that I finally received a call from Evan who is the regional manager and I agreed to pay $600.00 dollars for the shuttle truck and they would assume responsibility for $600.00 and credit it back to me. They were done packing at 1:30am!!When my goods finally arrived at my destination, I was told that I need to pay in cash (which was fine) but nowhere had they credited me the $600.00 After more than an hour of making phone calls to his bosses, I finally spoke with Leo, who is the owner of the company and a credit was given to me (as they had not received their cash yet). I thanked him for calling me on MY phone and the truck was unloaded. Upon unloading the truck, a large piece of marble was literally folded on itself (as well as other significant damages to other items). I was then told by the driver to call Leo on Monday to report the damages. I have tried to call Leo on multiple occasions, and have left multiple voice messages but he has refused or blocked my calls/ messages. I am now stuck with a destroyed piece of marble and other items. All American is untrustworthy and does not follow according to what they state. They are just interested in getting your money and using unfair tactics to raise the price of moving. They assume NO responsibility for damaged done to your goods and then leave you with unusable furniture. While it is easy to blame the employees, Josh, Pedro, and Evan for their misleading tactics, the fault should start from the top. Leo, who is the owner, should set a better example to the employees of the company, and set higher expectations of service. This, however can never happen as Leo has demonstrated everything that is wrong with the company.I would not recommend All American Van Lines to anyone.

2019-07-14Broken and missing items. I have never posted a review before, but I do not want others to experience the same frustration that I did. Everything leading up to the move was fine, but everything after that was extremely poor. When the movers came to move us out they were six hours late. Once there, they threw my items around, kicked my leather ottoman which is on wheels and stacked tables on top of each other. I then received zero notification about when my items would be received - the only communication was when I initiated it. Fifteen days is a long time to wait to receive your items. When the movers arrived they also asked for strange things like … sending my credit card and drivers license through unsecured email. Some people may do this unknowingly and be at risk for identity theft. They even expected you to sign blank credit card slips (i.e. the old fashioned ones where you get an imprint of the card). My biggest complaints were with Kyle - he was extremely unprofessional and rude. He was there for the pickup and delivery. When he called to say he was almost at our home we were disappointed to be working with him again because of his earlier unprofessional attitude. I watched him use my very expensive leather ottoman to hold heavy boxes (it wasnt even covered) and he was carrying my jewelry armoire funny and I found out why when I went to move it and the bottom fell off. I am certain he knew that it was broken when he carried it in. When we mentioned that we were missing one item. He agreed and noticed it as well. However, he didnt even apologize, offer an explanation or any hope of compensation. Just nope dont have it. He slide boxes across a solid hardwood floor and threw items. Some of the boxes were crushed and the only one we had labeled fragile was under two boxes of books. Additionally, you are told that they set items up for you, but they do not. As soon as everything was unloaded Kyle asked for a signature then left. He also dictated how much his tip should be. Today we continued to unpack and discovered more damage. The tv stand was also broken.Unfortunately, my items and home were not well cared for. I will be calling on Monday for compensation due to lost and destroyed items. I would not recommend using this company.

2021-06-14Our individual movers did their best but unfortunately, we had a pretty bad experience. First, they apparently didnt read the address carefully because they went to Manhattan rather than our apt. in West New York, NJ, which resulted in a late start. That alone could have been overlooked but unfortunately it was the beginning of a very stressful day. I think there was general miscommunication within the company somewhere, because when they arrived we could hear the movers talking about how they were expecting a much smaller job. I checked the inventory that I had emailed when scheduling the job and it was accurate. They were barely able to fit our stuff in the too-small truck. They were unable to bring our couch downstairs, even though this same company moved the couch into the building 6 years ago (much better experience that time, but wondering if theres been some changeover at the company). Around 9 pm, after about 9 hours, they ended up leaving the couch in the hallway of our apartment building because they were also unable to move it back into the apartment. It took several days for that to get worked out. They still have our treadmill (a month later) and are supposed to bring it tomorrow...hoping that works out.

2021-06-26Of the many positive things we experienced, the most important was their honesty. What they quote is that they charge - no games, no surprises, no sudden price increases, etc. They are great people and wonderful to deal with. We had a very last minute cross country move and it was a holiday weekend and they made our move happen. Without them, I don’t know what we would have done. Every single aspect of our move and interaction was positive. I hope they don’t mind me saying this but their prices were less than what we anticipated. Since this was a last minute move (I called on a Tuesday and that Friday they were at our apartment moving us out - that’s how ,last minute it was) they could have easily taken advantage of us. We are both very grateful to Ziv and everyone at All American Van Lines.

2021-06-26I would give All American Van Lines zero stars. They are currently holding our items (an entire 3-bedroom house) in an unknown location and have absolutely no clue when they will be delivered. We were told on the day of pick up (yesterday) that they would be delivered the next morning between 8-11am by the mover, Jose. I have called various departments at the company no less than 20 times throughout the day today and have left no fewer than 6 voicemail messages. Only one of my calls was answered. Renee from customer service said that there was absolutely no way that my items would be arriving today. She told me that they would arrive either Sunday or Monday. I asked for a reason for the change and she said that Jose never should have promised a Saturday delivery. She said that she could not tell me exactly what day my delivery would come because she did not work for dispatch. She also said that they were very busy and some box trucks had broken down. She could not, however, tell me if my items were actually on one of those box trucks. When we ended the conversation she said I should call her after 3:00pm, at which time she would have spoken to dispatch. I told her that I had called many times throughout the day and had not been able to get in touch with her or anyone else but she assured me she would answer. And that brings us to now, 7:00pm. I called Renee at 3:45pm and received no answer after several attempts. I left a voicemail message. I also called the dispatch number and our sales rep, Natalie, several times. After many attempts calling the dispatch number, a man answered the phone and told me that my items would not be delivered until Monday or Tuesday now because they dont deliver on weekends, contrary to what I had been told several times before by Renee and Natalie. I told him that we had been promised a Saturday morning delivery. At this point HE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME! I was given no other information about where our entire household of belongings were, and at this point I have absolutely no way of finding out when they will arrive. No one at All American Van Lines has returned my calls today whatsoever. To top off such horrible customer service, we were estimated 1/2 of what the total move ended up costing! The items from our 968 sq ft house are now costing us almost $5000 to ship from Massachusetts to Virginia with no delivery date in sight.
