I called them to fix a shower head leak and a sink leak, they fixed the sink leak in 20 seconds. The shower head was taken apart from the base and never put back together properly. He stripped the screws when taking it apart, put the screws back in the wrong places so the faceplate could not be put back on and he put the handle on backwards. He could not fix the problem but he made my issue worse than it was prior to him coming out. When I called to complain I was brushed off and told it wasnt their problem because the plumber couldnt fix it.AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!
Allied was a real savior to me. The company was recommended to me by my condominium HOA as sewer water was backing up into my unit. They were quick to schedule me and came immediately. The gentleman who came was professional, kind, and explained the issue. He worked extremely hard to rectify my problem and was successful. He cleaned up extremely well. During the times of Covid he was masked and respectful as well. I feel that the cost for service was fair. I highly recommend the company to service your needs and would 100% without hesitation have them back if need arose.
My wife and I had just lived through extensive renovations at our house, which included redoing the entire front with new stairs and portico at the entry way, new concrete and paver circular driveway, and new landscaping. We lived with a mess for over 6 months while completing all that work, so imagine our dismay when we had our second sewer backup in a month and found out that our sewer line was bellied and needed to be replaced. Given it runs right under the front door, we were told that EVERYTHING would need to be ripped out to replace the line. For two weeks we were so dismayed and upset with ourselves for not taking care of the issue before completing all that work (we had previously replaced most of the plumbing inside, thinking that is where the issue was).Thankfully, a friend of a friend told us to look into Allied/All-City... all I can say is wow! They were able to use their pipe bursting technology to replace the entire line from my foundation to the curb without disturbing any of the work we did. Besides the fact that redoing that work would likely have cost us more by itself than the amount we paid to do the sewer line replacement, just the thought of having to live with the entire front of the house ripped up again was a nightmare that my wife and I didn’t want to relive. The only item that I need to replace is two flags of concrete on the sidewalk... thats it! The team that did the work was extremely knowledgeable and very professional, and the technology was impressive to say the least! They arrived at 9:30am and were done by 4:30pm. Everything was left clean... they even removed the debris in my crawl space left when they jackhammered out the original lead piping. Just a great, no-hassle experience. I cannot express how grateful we are to Allied/All-City... Thank you just doesnt do it justice!!!
I called on new years day because my sump pump flooded my laundry room and was so glad they came right away, and then fixed it the next day when they could get the parts. They were professional. Courteous and really knew what to do. They used good quality materials and explained everything and cleaned the whole area when done. I would use them again for sure and highly recommend.
We had an emergency with one of our toilets and allied was the only company of the 8 we called that could send someone out. Technician who came was polite and honest. Great company!
Our main water line broke and our insurance company called Allied/All City.They came the next day and surveyed our property and told us what to expect. They then came and replaced about 90 feet of pipe from the street to our line in the basement. Had to remove Sheetrock and drill into our basement concrete wall. Did a fantastic job. After 8 hours you would never know they were even here.Clean,immaculate work, explaining what was happening every step of the way. Would highly recommend.

When you suspect a backed up sewer line, the ability to call up a reliable company that responds fast is of the utmost importance. Professionalism is also paramount to performance. Allied/ All-city is that company and employees like Chris P. made a really bad situation (insert any sewer puns you want here) into a survivable experience. Review Part 2 - Allied All City replaced a large section of sewer line, and also re-lined part of the sewer line for a commercial strip center. When my tenants had several backup issues in a row, I began to investigate. I found out (through several plumbing companies) that my sewer line was in its original state and was never repaired (sewer line was 40+ years old). I called several plumbing companies and found AAC Plumbing to have more expertise than others.The job took a little longer than expected, but John, Rob and their crew made the entire process very manageable. They worked with my tenants and communicated with them during the entire process. (My tenants could ill afford to have their businesses affected). We were very pleased with the crews respectful demeanor, professionalism and expertise evidenced throughout the job. I would not hesitate to recommend their services.
I had a great experience with Allied All – City Inc last month when I booked their services for a broken pipe repair in my Nassau home. They are professional, fast and I found their charges very reasonable in comparison to other plumbing services out there. The best thing I found about their service is that they come out to my home that same day, assessed the issue, explained what required to be done and got it fixed for a fraction of the price other companies quoted! Highly recommended!
I have use Allied All-City Plumbing a number of times for my sewer clog and highly recommend this company.I especially think that Cody is a great mechanic and absolutely knows what he is doing. He has unclogged my sewer pipe even when other companies could not! He is to be commended on his work ! I would not use any other company in the future.
What can be worse than getting a sewer backup during the pandemic of COVID 19? Fortunately, my husband made one phone call to Allied/All-City, whose office lady accommodated us a same-day service appointment! Two servicemen both named Chris came 90 minutes after the call. They cleared the blockage within ten minutes. More importantly, we were informed in detail about the cause and how to prevent it from happening in future. What a professionalism. We are lucky to know Allied All City.
I had the unpleasant circumstance of having my sewer line fail, and Allied/All-City showed up to save the day. They acted promptly and made sure to keep in touch with me at each step of the way. They came when they said they would and quickly finished the line replacement. They were neat and left everything clean and orderly when they left. They made sure to keep me informed about the work they performed and let me know right away when they found the damage to be worse than expected. I would absolutely use Allied again and suggest that anyone else in need of their services choose Allied/All-City.
Possible replacement of sewer line for a commercial building. I met with John, the owner who was very personable and explained quite well the advanced, technical services that Allied/All-City could provide vs other plumbing companies - namely the pipe bursting method of installing new sewer lines. We went through the initial steps of examining and mapping out the plumbing lines, and I am very appreciative of their efforts thus far! Rob, the plumber arrived with his crew and was able to clean, vacuum, and map the entire plumbing lines in a timely fashion. They are very professional.
After having too many awful plumbers it was really surprising to actually find allied plumbing. Everyone from the people in the office to the sewer man and finally best plumber ever! Courteous, reliable. Honest bunch of human beings! Couldnt be more satisfied. I will never use any other plumbing service. Ty allied for restoring my faith.

We had 2 other plumbers try to fix a massive leak in a main water line and neither could locate the leak. Both gave us astronomical quotes to replace the line. John diagnosed the problem in the main water line and brought a crew in to repair the line. Allied/All-City had all the equipment needed to do the repair, were neat, and very efficient. The company is very professional and we highly recommend them.

I dealt with Kevin for most of the process, Kevin was extremely professional, efficient and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure dealing with him and this company. These guys are very good. The technician James that came..he was very good. He cared about doing a good job and gave advice on future maintenance. The price was very fair and he put our toilet back on for us. This service was in stark contradt to another companty the week before. He quickly identified the problem area..unclogged it and explained how it all works.I highly recommend James and the company he works for
These guys had to visit my business several times to change a water heater under the sink. I was charged for the plumber picking up the heater and bringing it back (about 1 1/2 hours) and installation and the plumber watching an instructional video how to install it (1 1/2 hours) . Im very serious, I caught him returning to his phone watching instructions it would be humorous if i wasnt being charged for that time.A day after he left, heater stopped working. Plumber came back blamed the heater not working on so many other things besides his installation procedure. He also tried charging me for calling him back to fix his issue.I only called these guys because it was an emergency ,and I called them again because I paid over 1,000 bucks for shotty work, this is their problem now. I will never use them again for a new project and I am going to warn other consumers to do the same.UPDATE TO POST: Review attached photos as to get a clear depiction of how I was treated throughout my encounter with Allied/All City
Of course my hot water heater broke down on July 3rd. Allied was the only company that returned my call let alone promised to do the replacement on the morning of July 4th. They were here by 8am, done by 10, hot shower by 11. Thank you for being willing to do what no one else would do!
I previously had sewer issues. The people at Allied all city remembered me and had a crew out to my house within four hours. They were respectful polite and quarantine appropriate. Thank goodness this time it was a simple clog drain.
Allied All City was able to sent a plumber to unclog my underground gutter pipe within 2 hrs. My plumber was quick and efficiently clear out the pipe. Thank you for your professionalism.
I had a problem with a faulty valve on a heater which eventually broke inside of the thread. The plumber that came to the house was Santos; he was very understanding and sympathetic to our issue. Santos took the time to explain everything in detail and because I’m on a tight budget he explained all the different options I had in order to resolve my issue. I was very pleased with the outcome.
UPDATEDJason did follow up and did a more thorough inspection. Actually looking at the pipes from below he found the reason for the backup and was able to come back the following day and provide a permanent fix at a reasonable price, slightly less than his initial quote.—The plumber who came out said that our blocked drain was due to hair. He pulled out a little hair with a screwdriver. The tub immediately started to have problems again. We called again, and they kept saying they would “try to get someone out there”. Two days later, still nothing.
Very fast to response. In 1 hour plumber was in our house. Everything was done accurately. Plumber was very friendly. I think, it is expensive, at least how much estimate done on internet for the same project.
I am leaving a 5 star review only because i cant leave more. I had a major problem with my waste line and called Allied. I spoke to a Rob in the office who was such a super nice guy and very professional. They had someone at my home almost immediately after i spoke to them. The guy who came to my home i think his name was santo? He replaced my waste line at a very reasonable price. Outstanding customer service! Thank you so much Rob, Santo and everyone else at Allied! Last minute call! They said they would be at my home within an hour and they were true to their word. New Hot Water Heater was installed same day. Neatly done and guaranteed. Definitely recommend them.
I called Allied All City Plumbing for stopped up toilet and shower drain clog. Within three hours Evan was here to address the problem. This turned out to be a difficult job but he got it corrected in about two and a half hours. I would recommend this company and I will use them again.

I live in PA and my elderly parents still live on Long Island so we cant always get there right away when there is a problem. Thats where Allied All City comes to the rescue. We were assured that they would be there the next morning to fix a plumbing problem that couldnt be left till we got there. They were there as promised and my parents said they could not have asked for a more polite, neat and professional person as the one they sent. He fixed the problem, explained what he was doing and left them feeling confident their problem was solved. THANK ALLIED / ALL CITY FOR DOING A FANTASTIC JOB !! AND PUTTING OUR MINDS AT EASE.
Jim worked very hard to resolve my issue, explaining in detail what needed to be done. And when all the work was done he didnt just leave, He cleaned my whole bathroom. Very polite and professional. I highly recommend.
Let me put it this way. The plumber came out for a toilet that was not flushing well. He never bothered to look at the toilet, only wanted to see the trap. I showed him, and it was partially rusted. With that, he says he must replace the trap and all the pipes that lead to the cesspool. ( Dig a new trench). I asked how much would this cost, and he said $5000. I quickly showed him the door and called another plumber, especialky because he seemed not to be interested in doing the job anyway. The next plumber wanted totlook at the toilet and used his snake and broke through the blockage in 10 minutes. Cost..less than $200. The allied plumber was convinced the blockage from the trap to the cesspool. So for his 5 minute visit, I had to pay 14.95!I will never again call them.
The serviceman, Carlos, was extremely professional and friendly and knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it immediately. He arrived only a couple of hours after my initial phone call, and when he left I felt relieved that the problem was resolved. I would definitely recommend your company in the future.
The lady I first spoke to told me the guy Chris would be here in hour or so he came rt away was such a nice guy friendly respectful explained everything to me we even laughed was so grateful to have my toilet working after 3 days lol cause I was afraid to call and how much it would be it was a Saturday also but at the end my fear left and price was not to bad so glad I called and Chris was the guy to help my situation there should be more people like Chris. I had a backup in the basement over the weekend - with company here - and went to Google and found a company that does emergency work on Sunday - AlliedAllCity.They had someone to my house within the hour - diagnosed the problem - the sewer leading from the house was backed up - and gave me a fixed price to have the work done on the spot.An hour later - problem solved.I really like the way I knew in advance what the project would cost me BEFORE they started the work.I would gladly recommend Allied AllCity to my friends and family - as well to anyone reading this review.
We hired them to come and fix a leak. The first plumber John fixed something but wasnt the leak and charged us 400 for it and said he would come back to try and fix the problem again but never showed up so we had to track him down several times to find out he said he couldnt handle the job which in other words he bailed on the job and left us hanging. Then they sent over another guy Kent who said he was determined to find the problem came once said he would be back with a camera to try and find the problem but never came back. So we called him he said camera was in shop being fixed then he said he would be back on Friday never called or showed up so my we called him and he texted us saying that the company was closed on Friday due to snowstorm the day before. So we immediatley called Allied and found out they are open. Allied left us hanging all week with a leaky bathroom water all downstairs in my kitchen and had to stay home all week to wait for them to find out they were never coming day after day. So I called up the company at this point and asked to speak to the owner John Mara I was told is the owner and that he would call me back either to come fix it himself or to give us our money back since they never fixed anything and already took our 400 for something else that had nothing to do with the leak. Well we got a call back from John from dispatch he said he was the manager and that we werent allowed to speak to John Mara the owner for whatever reason and he was very rude to me when I said I would like to speak to the owner and spoke over me with very nasty tone and said they will give us refund check in mail and then hung up on me. Dont ever use this company. They will take your money leave you hanging high and dry with no help. Most unprofessionalism I have ever seen. Skip this one!!!

Service could not have been any better. Communication from them was great. Fully explained what they were going to do. I was not on site when the work was done so they sent me video of it being done. This company are crooks. They took my 900.00 to fix bathroom faucet and put faucet in wrong. Hot and cold water not mixing right. Faucet all messed up now. Told me they cant help me and refused my phone calls to come back and adjust faucet. Andy in copiague office hanging up on me when asking when you are going to come back and fix

I woke up Saturday morning with no heat and have an 86 year old Mother.They said they were coming by 12pm - 1pm and didnt show up until almost 3:30pm. The plumber came in and looked at the Motor on the furnace, didnt do a damn thing to try to fix it (meanwhile my Mother is sitting with a space heater and electric blanket. Said he will order the part by Monday. Monday comes and I have to call and he said the part is not carried by his Storage house. Put no effort into helping me, so I reached out to a friend knew someone. The Guy came over at 6pm and took the motor apart, cleaned it, etc. He got it running temporarily while ordering the part. Why be in the business if you dont really want to help someone.
My husband and I had a problem with our curb valve and water supply line. Our Baldwin Harbor street had been raised 2 feet on top of that, making trenching a BIG project and Fred took the initiative to survey and come up with a plan and quote within an hour!! They came on a busy Sunda . They were delayed a little because the boss added a stop or 2. The plumber diagnosed the problem quickly and honestly. The job was finished rather quickly.

They answered right away on a Sunday morning and came in about an hour. Problem is they charged more than twice the price to replace a leaking pipe than previous companies when weve had the exact same problem in the past .
Took the 30% deposit, did not show up per the set schedule, had to chase them to start job. They did not follow common safety protocol on site, doubled their contract with extras and when back up was requested they never provided. They charged for work that was not done and when asked about it was told it was not negotiable.Large outfit that appears not to care about customer service and an overall very negative experience.
Said theyd call back in 15 minutes. Its been 9 days.....I dont think theyre going to call back. Lol. Went with Rotor Rooter instead. Glad I did.
The service person was prompt and unclogged the main drain.My toilet and washer backed up. It required going into my crawl space and he did that without a problem.

Had an emergency, hot water tank leaking I didnt know who call so I just Googled hot water heater replacement the company Allied was on top call them that afternoon and arranged or a replacement at 12 the next day Kevin did the installation with his helper Dominic what an excellent job they were in and out and clean as if they would never there recommend this company highly.
We have problem with drainage , my wife called them and they came break the pipe and charge for that and also make big mess. be careful with those people. it was worse experience i ever had.

2022-01-14This company is the real deal. Professionals from the young lady who answered the phone to our visit from their wonderful plumber Bill. I called on a Sunday morning and they arrived within an hours time. Bill arrived set himself up found the problem and proceeded to explain what needed to be done and made us feel confident that we had found the right company and person to fix the problem. He totally cleaned up after completing the work and the bill was extremely fair for the work that was done. Recommend them highly!

2022-02-01Ok. If you are interested in a professional organization that knows what they are doing, use Allied. I called them for a freeze up and they were here in 1 1/2 hrs. Crew is neat and professional.They also did a large underground plumbing sewer repair two years ago. Fixed the problem, were helpful and timely. Have high tech equipment. Supervisor was here the entire timeAs I said, they are experts in this area. Thanks

2022-06-02I called Allied yesterday for a leaky pipe and Joe called me a number of times to tell me he was running late which I totally appreciated. He looked over the job and said the guys would be here either late yesterday or today. They came early today and were finished within an hour. They were very professional and neat. I will definitely use this company again and will recommend to my friends.

2022-05-31DO NOT USE! I had them come in and diagnose a leak. They said I had a slab leak after digging up my back yard and told me I had to trench my house. Then when I asked for an estimate, I called them every day and never received one. They said they needed better pictures so they sent back the same crew to take pictures. 2 days later, still nothing. They then sent their Slab Leak expert who was supposed to use a camera in my line and said, no, this is in the wall, and never used a camera. After his visit, still no estimate even though we continued to call them daily. After we had another company come in to remove the damaged flooring, they found that the refrigerator line was leaking. This was not in the wall, but under my cabinet. $12 later, I fixed it myself.After they have continued to be unprofessional, unresponsive, and refuse to honor their 100% satisfaction guarantee listed on their website, they told me the diagnosis was correct, which it was not, the manager was very snotty and said, well you signed the invoice so there is nothing I can do.I will be refuting the charge with my credit card company and will be telling everyone I know to never use these people.The owner should be ashamed of the way the manager runs this company, and allows people to not respond or make good on the work they promise to complete like providing estimates and scopes of work.*UPDATE*I received a call from someone higher up and received a number of apologies for the way things were handled by a new employee and a full refund direct from the company itself.I truly hope this was a one time occurrence and that others do not experience what I have. Given that there was a response to my review, I am hopeful about this companies future.

2022-01-27Had a blockage in the pipe from the house to the street sewer line. First technician, Mike, showed up and checked out the problem, explained the various possible outcomes, and arranged for a team to come out the next day. Carlos and his team showed up on time and water-jetted out the blockage, explaining every step of the process and providing camera views in real time. We came away satisfied and informed.

2019-01-11I’m extremely happy with work these guys had done. They didn’t mess up my front yard or any of my property, they did small patch to get into my water main line which was leaking for months & replaced. They are meticulous and pay attention to detail and gets the job done with exemplary, placing liner on the yard before putting the dirt so it leaves the area clean and tidy and even hose the driveway. Kudos to Santos, Dan Audia and Jose Jimenez!!! The drain is no longer clogged and thanks to Home Serve insurance! The monthly payment is very meager compared to what could have been an out of pocket expense if I didn’t have it. Very well recommended and will use them again without a doubt! Thank you very much!!!
