Purchased a used Volvo from Alpine. My daughter and I flew up from Tennessee to drive it home. Mike was on-the-ball and had everything ready for us. The car was great, as advertised. We drove it several hundred miles back home that afternoon and the next day. It performed well. I am very happy with the purchase and experience.Follow up.. Went to register the car back home. My state did not understand the paper work from New York, thought it was not correct and wanted to send me away. I called Mike from the clerks desk and he got them squared away in a few minutes. Him taking the time to assist them saved me an immense amount of pain.
Exceptional experience working with Mike. He buys solid cars and runs through the entire vehicle and makes necessary repairs to ensure it’s in great shape for his clients. Alpine Motors was great to work with. Purchasing an expensive vehicle sight unseen from another state can be a little nerve wracking, not knowing if their idea of immaculate condition is congruent with yours. Mike told me about two very minor flaws and sent pictures of them to help me make an informed decision. The vehicle was everything he portrayed it to be, and then some. Mike has such an extensive range of classic European cars its hard to chose just the one! He sold me a 9 year old BMW X3 which is in very good condition. People have remarked that it looks brand new. It needed some work doing to the turbo which he immediately organized at a specialist shop. His customer service is excellent. He and his team are friendly and professional and extremely knowledgeable about all his cars. His passion for these iconic cars is clear the minute you walk round his sales room. I can’t say enough about Alpine Motors. Their selection is seriously unheard of. I live in Maine and without a second thought or guess, I drove almost 6 hours to meet Mike and pick up my new SUV I’d never seen in person. I trusted Mike. Alpine motors set a standard for car sales that in 39 years, I’ve NEVER experienced.Mike is a straight shooter, No BS, and a Man of his word. After searching high and low for a car , I remembered Alpine Motors . I checked their website spoke to mike a couple of times and agreed on a car . Because I was in a different location (about 40 miles) Mike arranged things so I could come out see the car and leave the same day . This was not his normal procedure and he did not disappoint. Purchased a 2000 corvette with only 41K miles, which I picked up Aug 1, 2020. The purchase was made at Alpine Motors in Wantagh, NY. I dealt with Mike, who is the owner of this fine business. Spent the last 6 months searching for the “perfect” used car as I waited for my current lease to expire. At the same time, my father was looking for a retirement present for himself in the form of a convertible. My short list was an Audi and a stretch if I could get into a S model within my budget. My father wanted a single owner, under 30k miles for his.Went out to Wantagh to Alpine Motors to look at a Bentley Continental GTC with my father. Started with a call to Mike to set up an appointment. Once we got there, I saw my dream car right next to the Bentley...an S7.Long story short...Mike at Alpine Motors was a top notch dealer throughout the entire process and an all-around great guy to do business with. Honest, knowledgable, and no nonsense; all qualities everyone should want from a business owner. My father bought the Bentley and I bought the Audi S7. I had been looking for a used convertible BMW and found one for sale at Alpine motors. The process was very efficient. I made an appointment for a test drive. When I arrived I took the car for a spin, including a highway run. I loved the car and we quickly came to an agreement and I picked it up two days later. The prep they did to the car was amazing, the car is a 98 and the original paint looks brand new, and the motor is pristine. The lot contains an impressive collection of high-end used cars. Test drives are appointment only, however their website is excellent for browsing - there were plenty of photos of the car from every angle, as well as detailed specifications. When I am next in the market for a used car I would definitely check here first.
Best car buying experience. I never thought buying a used car is this easy. Mike made the buying experience a breeze. From the time I contacted about the car I liked to me driving the car out of the lot, he made sure that I was kept up to date. Mike was very honest about the issues with the car, the soft top needed replacements he gave me options on what he can do. We agreed on getting it fixed in spring, since his soft top replacement guy was not available and I also felt it was better to change the top after winter.I am really impressed by his professionalism and passion towards providing best service to the customers. Returning customer! Four years ago, I bought my first summer-time fun car (a convertible) from Mike at Alpine. I had not bought a used car since 1973 and I was concerned about finding a dealer who would stand behind what he sold. I looked around at several places, but from his online reviews, as well as from a multiple-purchase customer I knew, I saw consistently good feedback. Mike’s cars are generally top of the line, low mileage and in great condition. That first transaction was smooth and Mike stood behind the vehicle, handling a couple of initial gremlins. I tripped across my recent acquisition by accident, as I often check back in at his web site to see what he has on hand. I came across another convertible, clearly an upgrade from what I had and reached out to Mike. Within a couple of days, we had an appointment to see the car, it was great and he took my prior purchase back as a trade-in, working with me on a fair deal. Great experience. I contacted Alpine Motors after finding a listing for a 2011 BMW. I was looking for a specific color combination with specific options. It was for my daughter. She was involved in an accident (not her fault) 3 weeks before and her BMW was totaled. My quest was to replace her totaled car with an identical one. I purchased a 2010 Honda Civic from Mike at Alpine last month after an extensive search to replace my 8th generation Honda Civic. Not quite the typical car on Mikes lot of luxury vehicles. I received most of the information on the car via email back and forth with Mike, whose professionalism and knowledge of the car industry was apparent immediately. The interaction was positive enough for me to fly in to purchase the car. Mike ensured the car met the high level his dealership represents, even though it was probably the cheapest car on his lot. When a minor concern came up, Mike was quick to resolve the issue to ensure I was able to make the drive home that day. *Updated 01/11/2016 - I just purchased my 3rd car from Mike this past weekend. I purchased my first mini cooper from him and then swapped it out for a mini cooper S a couple years later and now just swapped that out for a Jeep Cherokee Overland ... I have to say every single time has been a pleasure. Mike has always made the process simple, and honest. I have LOVED every car I have ever purchased, especially my new Jeep! I could have easily brought my business elsewhere, but honestly the service and experience Mike has is really what makes me a return client. You know what youre getting, and all the cars are extremely well kept. I highly recommend him and his team, and try to refer him as much as possible!I was shopping around for mini coopers for a couple months, and couldnt seem to find the right one with the right price and when I would, it would be off the lot in a matter of minutes. I just purchased a 2009 mini cooper from Mike this past weekend. The car has very low miles on it, and is still under Mini warranty. My first visit to Alpine was quick and brief just to look at the car, and run my credit. Mike called me back promptly and was able to work everything out within my budget and means. I was back the same day to put my down payment in and sign papers. Mike told me i could pick up the car later in the week as it needed to be detail, inspected etc... I explained to Mike I was in a time crunch and asked if I could pick up the car sooner because I would be out of town for work. Needless to say Mike got the car inspected and ready for pick up in under 24 hours of signing all the papers. I walked in at 10 am on Saturday, and by noon on Sunday had my car! I would purchase another car from Mike, and was happy with the ease of the transaction. He was prompt, personable, and all the cars on his lot seemed well kept.

Once you find a car you like, assistants are easy to come by and will give you the keys so you can have a proper look around the car at your own pace. For a quote for part-exchange, you simply drive over to the part exchange center where someone has a quick look and makes an offer. All offers and car prices are final and Alpine Motors has a strict no-haggling policy which makes the process quick and easy. Great assistance.
Mike is the go to go guy for getting a used car. He only sells the highest quality vehicles you get what you pay for. My dad got his E-Class from here, it was in mint condition and runs great. I look forward to doing business with Alpine in the future when I’m financially independent.

Purchased a 2008 black on black Accord that was in mint condition about a month ago, car has been absolutely perfect since i have had it. Didnt have a car at time and dont have time to waste going to a million different places so came here based on positive reviews. The entire process took maybe an hour and a half, came back 2 days later to pick it up and car was flawless with even a fresh coat of wax. 2010 Audi with 39,000 miles looks BRAND NEW. Brought it to Audi dealer for service immediately after purchase and all checked out top-notch, except minor front wheel alignment. No big deal; it is after all a used car. I recently purchased a 1991 Red Convertible Corvette with 25,340 miles from Alpine Motors. The car looks and drives like a new car. Mike was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. After leaving a deposit Mike got the new license plates from the DMV, had the car inspected, put 4 new tires and brakes on the car and had the car detailed. He even arranged to have the car delivered because I did not want to drive it from Long Island to Brooklyn. All his cars on his lot are in immaculate condition. Greetings from the Road! I purchased my 1999 Mercedes Benz 230 SLK in October and have been driving ever since which is why my post is so late. I have never been more happy. I saw the car on the Cargurus website on a Saturday and called early on Sunday morning. I got a return phone call almost immediately. My husband and I drove to the dealership and saw the car on the lot. It was immaculate. It far exceeded my expectations I was taken on a test drive with the owner. When we returned, my husband and I were permitted to take the car for another test drive together. We were provided a copy of the CarFax with the cars ownership history. We asked for 24 hours to decide on the purchase which we did the next day. Alpine Motors has a large selection of all kinds of late model vehicles. I cant thank them enough!

Ok its been a long time coming but better late than never.I purchased a 2004 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 in May 2013. The buying process was absolutely painless and without a drop of sales pressure. Thats an A+ right off the bat. The tough thing was choosing from all the great low mileage cars available.So now my review. The condition of this beauty with only 48k miles on it was as if it were brand new inside and out (as were most all the cars I looked at that day). I have had absolutely no problems with the car and feel like I am getting into a brand new car each time I unlock the door, still after almost a year of ownership.Alpine has a customer for life! I wouldnt even hesitate to purchase from Alpine again when the time comes it will definitely be the first one I visit... and most likely the only one.Alpine is a place you must check out if you are in the market for a great vehicle. Bought a 2006 escalade,drove from ocean city Maryland to new York to buy. Vehicle was just as nice as pics. Mike was great to deal with. Had 3rd brake light out,sent away to get fixed,mike reimbursed me right away.I would recommend alpine to anyone and would buy from again.
I bought a pre-owned SUV from Alpine motors just about 30 days ago. I did my HW on his shop since I had to make a trip from the DC Area and decided to take the chance after several conversations and emails. Mike made it a seamless process with good customer service. I just bought a gorgeous, perfectly detailed 2005 50th Anniversary Thunderbird from Mike and couldnt be happier. Its one thing to have a lot full of beautiful cars - and these guys definitely do - but its another to be great to work with and totally transparent in doing the deal. We found exactly the car we wanted for a third - fun around town vehicle - a 2012 Mini Cooper convertible. In and out it looks almost like it was driven from the new car showroom. We shopped around and found a few others that were less expensive but none were as clean and with only 15K miles it was a no brainer. The transaction was seamless. Its easy to see why they came so highly recommended.

My husband and I went to look at a car tonight and were greeted by Mike the owner of Alpine Motors. He was not wearing a mask and when we asked him to put one on he refused and said he didnt need to because we were outside. When I protested and said that I wasnt comfortable with that answer he arrogantly said Ill tell the other hundred customers that I saw without a mask. Even if he thought wearing a mask wasnt necessary because we were outside, he should have tried to make his customers comfortable by complying with THE LAW.I wouldnt buy anything from this company due to their lack of civic responsibility, arrogance and nasty treatment of a potential customer.You should take your business elsewhere where the owners and employees comply with the law and dont cause more problems for this pandemic!!I am only giving one star because this site doesnt allow for zero stars.

I couldnt be happier with my car. Ive previously owned two other Saabs, so I knew exactly what to expect. After test driving the car I was impressed by the condition but Alpine Motors took it a step further and held onto the car a few more days to have it checked out from top to bottom before I drove it off the lot. Everything about this place was amazing! I stepped off the LIRR and someone was there to pick me up in the car that I was coming to test drive. Mike was no nonsense and extremely sincere. No BS here. If youre tired of the run around, fine print or unclear pricing that a lot of used car dealers use to exhaust you in to making a poor decision(let me tell you I WAS!), this dealership is a breath of fresh air. I was able to make a deal for a car without ever stepping foot on the property. Of course I checked it out before signing on the dotted line but it was as advertised in amazing shape. I just had a guy chase me on the highway just to get a look at my car, but thats all me because I keep the wax shine heavy!If the car you want is available at his dealership I urge you to give him a chance. You can tell from their lot that they specialize in quality higher end vehicles. I worked with Jason and Michael and no high pressure sales, just conversation and exploring the vehicle I was interested in. Worked out a deal and they inspected and detailed the car and had it ready looking even better than when I decided to buy it!

2022-05-23Alpine Motors offered a great buying experience. I recently purchased a 2006 H3 Hummer and had it shipped to Indiana, going only by the posted photos and Mike Alpines feedback. I think I got a great deal and it was about as hassle-free as purchasing a vehicle can be. Mike even messaged me a few days after delivery to see if I had any issues.These folks are honest and hard working, with a healthy sense of humor and 100% positive feedback. Its mighty hard to stay at 100%, but these folks have earned it. Ill be getting my next car from Mike and his team in years to come!

2022-03-08I just purchased a 2009 Mercedes CLK550 from Mike Alpine at Alpine Motors. It was a great experience and Mike was great to work with. I’m from about 7 hours away, we settled on a price via e-mail subject to seeing the car. I flew in, took an Uber from JFK airport to the dealership and Mike met me there earlier than opening hours. I was beyond pleased with the car, did some paperwork and drive it home the same day. Flawless experience and such a gorgeous car with the features I was looking for. 2020-10-16Great place to buy a car! Mike was great to work with. I was a bit nervous about purchasing a car almost 3000 miles away but reading the reviews gave me confidence. I called Mike a few times to discuss the car. He was very professional and willing to take the time to answer the many questions I had. He hired a fantastic shipping company and worked with me through all the hoops Washington State makes you jump through when registering a car from out of state. Also, I am very particular. 2021-10-29I found the car I wanted online and checked the website. It was not a big ticket item as I have an escalade as my primary car and I wanted one i can pay cash for. It was a silver CTS 2010 Cadillac. It was perfect. I drove out from Manorville. The gentleman sitting at the desk , said take a card and make an appointment Im too busy buying cars. Mind you I checked website before I drove. I am 60 years old never have I been talked to like that. I have a 2016 Escalade which is also soon to be upgraded. No way do you respond to a customer like that no WAY!!!! Had gentleman responded thank you for coming buy I am the only one here can you come back, I might have.Here are the photos I uploaded this morning Mr. Owner. ; I see you have many customers but I just was not one of them.
