Alure Home Improvements in other cities:
Fantastic team that met with me in the early stage of the job, clearly explained my options, set me up with a great project manager and the team that did the work was great. They replace my roof and re-sided my home exactly within the time period they promised. Home looks great. Thank you James, Michelle and George - you all are the best.
As a repeat and very satisfied customer of Alure I knew that this was a very reliable company to work with. 3 years previously they installed a replacement roof and siding. The works was done impeccably, fast and at a very fair price. Due to a water issue I was forced to completely replace my kitchen and Alure was up to the task. From day 1 I was assured by their professional sales, design team that the project although daunting to me would be addressed with a dedicated project manager along the way. The result was a stunning kitchen that the designer suggested and a poject manager that handled every single item ranging from kitchen cabinet/tile/countertop installation/electrical/plumbing/drywallinstallationspackling/etc with ease. The team at Alure is top notch as this is a full service company and I will continue to be a repeat customer for years to come!
We entered into a contract with Alure pre-pandemic for a full basement renovation. Our first project manager was extremely attentive and detail oriented. He took the time to walk us through each phase of the project. There was a shift in project managers due to downsizing. Unfortunately, we made the grave mistake of not capturing everything in writing. As a result, many of our initial expectations seemed to get lost due to Covid-pandemic related delays. However, when Frank took over our project, he tried his best to honor our original agreements. He gave us frequent updates to alert us of pandemic related delays. Once things got rolling again, he was readily available to answer any questions, to make last minute changes and to put our minds at ease. He really went above and beyond considering the circumstances. The collaboration between Frank & Justin gave us the basement of our dreams. My only suggestion to Alure is; please take the time to thoroughly go over blueprints and final details with your clients. The pandemic caused major break downs in communication and we didnt catch those things until it was too late. Despite that, we were really pleased and are grateful that Frank was compassionate and honorable.
Bathroom - Complete Remodel - $37KPros - Installer - Martin - Fantastic craftsman and the one and only positive thing about Alure. His helpers - incompetent and useless. Last one better, but still missed many things on final inspection by myself.Billy - Sales Rep - Very professional and above all patient with all my questions and concerns. Always quick to get back to me. Was a pleasure working with himJustin - Project manager - Spread thin and Alure needs to hire a couple more people to off load him a bit. Nice guy.Installer was excellent and no complaints. Patricia and Diane were also very good, but keep in mind the schedule they send you means nothing and not their fault. Deliveries were never on the days scheduled and thankfully someone was home to accept them or rain may have cause massive issues. ,Demo Crew - Lead guy very nice and worked well. His helper, to put it bluntly - a disgusting human being.Inspections were at the mercy of the city we live in and the wait time was not Alures fault. It is what it is and the project is done. There were depressed wall tiles, which needed to be fixed and Alure sent an individual to get it done. Very professional and did a very nice job. He actually address a few other issues he noticed and brought to my attention. Really appreciated that and him.Reviews are good, based only on their excellent installer (Martin). Everything is subcontracted out. Installers deserve all the credit. Alure will be quick to remind you of charges and payments, but slow for everything else (Justin). Payments were always made according to schedule by us. Pay attention and take photos - charges you will get hit with will be unrealistic - $400 for barely two 2x4s to level wall (3 studs that needed strips) one example - photo sent showed 3 small strips or $700 dollars to paint RedGuard on the wall - did it myself the day before the installer came to start tiles - 3 coats - paid less than $100 bucks for two containers. Reason given for $700 charge was it would delay installer due to drying. I added it at 530am, installer showed up at 8 am and completely dry for start of tile. Three year warranty good. Purchase your own tiles if you can and dont use theirs - we made that mistake. Make sure you interview many companies. Bathroom looks nice and we give Martin all the credit. Had some great conversations with him. Great guy! Take photos as project moves along!!!!!
Great service! Alure installed a sliding glass door in our home some years ago. After 15+ years, the seals around the glass were no longer working, and the window had streaks and spots throughout. We reached out to Alure’s Service Dept., and spoke with Jennifer Stubbmann. She could not have been more helpful. Jenn arranged to have the glass replaced, tracked the order, informed us when it was available, and scheduled the installation as soon as it was ready. We weren’t sure if this would be covered under the warranty, but Alure stood behind their product and there was no charge. We are very impressed by the service Alure provided, and our thanks to Jennifer and to Omar, who installed the replacement glass. Both demonstrated professionalism and customer focus. It is very much appreciated.
We chose Alure to redo one of our bathrooms and we were very happy with the result! Everyone who worked on our bathroom was very professional and came when they said they would. Justin and Greg from Alure were very responsive whenever we had questions about the project or the schedule. We would definitely use them again for another remodeling project. Thanks for a beautiful bathroom!
In September of 2018 we had a flood in our home. Every room on the first floor of our home needed flooring and walls replaced and the kitchen was a complete loss. I interviewed many contractors and was not comfortable with most of them. Liz Clemins from Alure shows up and I knew immediately Alure was the way to go. She was patient and helpful and we ended up with a beautifully designed kitchen. Mike Kelly our project manager was awesome. He addressed all my questions and concerns immediately and professionally. All the workers that were in and out of the house for months were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Alure to anyone.
Alure said this was a 5 day job. Thats what they advertised. Two months later they are still working on our bathroom. The start date was July 7. They have been nonresponsive and have not kept their word for scheduled times and other things. The project manager was also nonresponsive; one said he was let go and another said he took a leave of absence. They raised our floor without informing us or giving us other options, which are available as per Alure. They should have advised me of my options prior to the work being done. They cut corners on some tiling and I had to complain about it for it to be done correctly. The ceiling had to be re-spackle after we did a paint job and paid 800$ because the tape and nails were showing through the ceiling although Allure said the walls would be paint ready. There is much more to talk about but, to say the least, I am sorely disappointed with Alure. I actually used Alure in the past (new windows installed on every floor and a door) and I was happy with that so I decided to use Alure again. I wish they had kept up their reputation with the bathroom as well because I have other work that needs to be done on my house and wouldve continued to use Alure as a repeat customer. I am not a happy customer right now.Update: paid alure and I am already seeing problems with the bathroom...nails coming through the paint on walls and ceiling....the ceiling was redone prior to me paying but nails still coming through again. Here are some pics....also a couple of other problems like grout came out and the ceiling is also showing what looks like is a tape line....bad workmanship on the part of the alure....I would not recommend you use them....
We have used allure home improvements for a variety of projects in our home. Most recently we installed new windows and had a bay window put in our kitchen. We absolutely love working with this company. Cynthia and her team Frank and Jason worked diligently to get all the installers to my home and complete the job in a timely manner. The installers were also very professional and very nice in general. I will continue to use allure for all my home improvement needs and I recommend them to anyone who needs remodeling.
Alure renovated my kitchen, bathroom and flooring. From the moment Designer Christina Piekut came to the house to discuss the project, I immediately had a good feeling that we were going to choose Alure for our renovation. Christina listened to our discontent with our current setup and immediately started to envision what could be done to improve our kitchen and bathroom as well as our lack of storage. For the scope of work that was going to be done, Alure was reasonably priced and Christina was great with keeping the project within our budget. Mike Kelly was our Production Supervisor. Mike and his team were always professional and friendly. Mike was also very responsive to my texts and kept me informed of the progress of the project. Christina created a beautiful design for my kitchen and bathroom and Mike and his team executed beautifully. Between the staff, quality of work and service I would definitely use Alure for future projects.
I would like to thank Alure Home Improvement for a phenomenal job they did for us, our new kitchen and dining room look amazing. We are very pleased and happy. Mr. Billy Coen and Justine were great to work with and the timing was perfect. We look forward to doing our next project with Alure Home Improvements.Jacqueline & Al Bello
We have used Alure in the past for projects so when we needed new windows and siding we went back to Alure. We use Alure since they are professional, their products are high quality, and they keep an open line of communication...none of that “no show for weeks” like some contractors do.We had top notch service from everyone involved on our project from sales to install. The crew was professional and mindful of our neighbors and kept our yard as clean as they could throughout. They were professional, kind, and clean. We would definitely use Alure for any future projects.
We used Allure Home Improvement for our new roof after having a great experience with them installing new windows and siding about a year ago. They once again did a wonderful job, getting the full roof installment, with all new plywood underlayment, done in less than a day. They were very courteous and gave great attention to detail. We are extremely happy with their work and have received may complements from our neighbors. We would highly recommend Allure for anyone doing home repair and remodeling work.
My wife and I just added a great room to our house. Because of the size of the project (12 ft x 21 ft), we looked for a construction firm that was large enough to do all of the work but honestly feared that we might be treated like “just another client”. Alure proved to us that the best quality workmanship can come with the best in customer relations. We received great advice at every aspect of the project. From pouring of the foundation to HVAC and the finishing trim, their workers were true gentlemen and accommodated us fully even when we changed our plans. They even went out of the way to make sure our hard-to-find wood siding matched in every detail with the rest of the house and gave us moulding that was better than we expected.I also enjoyed meeting Sal, the owner, who impressed me with his integrity as well as someone who truly cared about my needs.I would recommend Alure without hesitation or reservations. P.S.: You must use their amazing windows.
OMG !!! - ALURE did such a fantastic job in renovating our Cedarhurst bathroom - it was sooo beautiful my wife wouldnt let me use it for a month. 😄😄 See the before and after photos below - Hard to believe its the same space. Special thanks to Marilou Arcuri for the design and guidance. And thanks to Joe Russo, Joe Capobianco and the Alure craftsmen for taking such care in creating the new bathroom and protecting the rest of the home throughout the project.
I waited 23 years for my dream kitchen and the team at Alure made the whole process a pleasure. They are so good that every day of the renovation was mapped out for us in advance and we knew which contractor would be here each day. Greg Griffin took my dream and designed it into reality and the amazing craftsmen from the demolition to the finish work, the tile team to plumber and electrician were all pros. Emilio was always available to hear my concerns clarify the plan and give us some piece of mind. You cant go wrong with Alure as they handle every detail for you. Cant want for our next renovation!
My husband and I just had our homes exterior redone. When taking on such a project, youre always concerned about the process and the end product. I can say with confidence that the entire process with Alure was painless. From Bobs initial sale consult, meeting with Omar to go over the actual design and produce a rendering, to the amazing final product that Jorge, Donato and their team put together with amazing attention to detail, we could not be happier.Tim, our Project Manager was with us every step of the way. Communication was never lacking, any questions (no matter how small) were readily addressed and everything he said was going to be done, was done and in a timely manner. We cant say enough how much we love the way our home looks. We highly recommend Alure and would use them again for any future projects.Thank you Alure! Lisa & Eric from Howard Beach
We chose Alure to replace the siding and add exterior insulation for our home because of their competitive pricing and offerings. The whole experience was pleasant from beginning to end. Working with Jonathan as our Sales Advisor was hassle and haggle free. Tim our Project Manager was always communicating and reassuring us with a positive attitude. George and his siding crew were always early and worked all day with diligence and care and often went above and beyond. Even the person that delivered the materials was accommodating and very careful. We will surely recommend their services to friends and family because of the great job they all did. We are beyond satisfied with the outcome and new look of our house.
This is the second extremely positive review I have posted for Alure. My wife and I had our entire basement remodeled by Alure with glowing success. Since I already commented on that, I want to provide additional positive feedback on how they handled a minor problem we faced about a year later. It’s important to realize that it’s not only important for a company such as Alure to provide a good construction service, but also be available to deal with any potential issues down the road. I called Alure because we saw some issues with the drywall peeling off some sites, and Greg, Frank, Patrick, and Jason were extremely responsive. It’s important to point out that Alure didn’t even paint the basement afterwards, I decided to have my own painter do that service since I had previous work done by them and was satisfied with the quality. The point is that Alure didn’t place blame on any one, they instead took care of the issue without any hesitation. As a consumer you can’t ask for more than that. I would not hesitate to use or recommend them in the future for any project.
If you’re looking to remodel your home look no further. Alure is the real deal! Forget hiring someone who knows someone who knows someone like I’ve done in the past. Alure does it all under one roof. My wife and I recently remodeled our two bathrooms and from start to finish the projects were done on budget and on time. They use quality materials from plumbing supply houses not your local box stores. We were very, very satisfied with the results and would recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their home. Most importantly Alure stands by their work. When the redos were completed we received a follow up number to call if anything with the work should go wrong. If you want peace of mind knowing your job will be done professionally and guaranteed, call this company. It was a pleasure to work with designer Rocco and project manager Emilio, who addressed all our concerns promptly and courteously. Special thanks to the skilled pros who did the work, Karol and Paul.Thank you Alure, my wife and I will be using your company again in the future!!
We wanted to say thank you To Rocco our designer who was extremely helpful and answered all our concerns immediately. Also the team of folks that work for your company were all very helpful no matter what we asked of them. The cabinet installers did an excellent job and a lot of attention to all details doing it perfect. Your electrican Matt was a great guy and really did a wonderful job with all the wiring for our kitchen. Then our project manager Emilio was great and extremely helpful in all that was going on, he was always available to address any questions or concerns we had. He would also do the work himself if no one was available to help to keep on schedule. They completed this remodel on time as they committed to us when we signed the contract. I would use them again great team.
As a family of 5 and two full time working parents, remodeling our main everyday bathroom sounded like an exhausting task that we werent sure we were ready to commit to despite how needed the job was. Hearing soo many stories of people having their projects go way over the expected timeline, not having products delivered on time, unexpected costs, the feeling of being bamboozled, rude customer service etc. We were hesitant to say the least but decided to have a consultation with Alure based on their already existing reputation. Our consultant, Billy, off the bat was very friendly, warm, patient, and took a genuine interest in us and our expectation for our remodel project. He helped us build our bathroom from ground up and we soo appreciated his ability to appropriately redirect us to a better design for daily functionality. For example, I initially wanted marble tile floor; Billy (didnt have to) but cautioned us on the pros and cons of marble with young kids in the home. He also reminded us of the benefit of sticking with a shower curtain rather than a shower door to make bathing kids easier and that we can always add the door later in the years. And these modifications actually saved us money! When the actual project started, we both felt, lets see how this will really turn out. We were promised a clean demolition, minimal dust and noise interference and a fully functional, beautifully constructed bathroom in less than a full 7 day week. All we can say is....WOW. Everything held true. Lets just say, our infant twin girls slept through their naps each day that work was being done, including demo day! The contractor assigned to our project was so friendly, helpful and genuinely invested in keeping us in the loop of his work and his progress. Each day we came home from work, you wouldnt have even known a home remodeling project was in progress, thats how clean and neat our contractor was at the end of his day. Now of course nothing is perfect, we hit a few snags during the process. Truly a few. For example, the demolition crew through out our radiator cover leaving us with nothing to cover the vent. We spoke with our project manager who quickly crafted a beautiful vent cover that matched our hardware with no additional cost or headache. During demolition, our master bathroom medicine cabinet cracked from the banging on the other side of the wall. When addressed with our project manager, a new medicine cabinet was quickly replaced in our master bath! No additional cost, no headache! I dont think it gets any easier than that. We are extremely pleased and happy with our new bathroom and feel our day to day bathroom tasks with our kids has been enjoyable and functional at the same time. We recommend anyone considering a home remodel project to have a consultation with Alure. As a young working family, we know there isnt much time to put into micromanaging contractors for work they are experts in. With Alure, you dont have to micromanage, the line of communication is encouraged to be open through out the whole project and even after if needed. Dont hesitate to give Alure a fair shot! Thank you Alure for helping us making our remodeling project stress free, fast and beautiful!
We had a basement finishing project done by Alure. They took care of all the details and the project manager Jason was always a text away. He would stop by often to check in. Anything we needed done was seen to.Justino and Santos were at the house every day on time, stopped for lunch and then went back at it. They always cleaned up without me having to say a word. The craftmanship was beyond excellent and every day before they were ready to leave I would get an explanation of what they did and what was up the next day. When they left, it was if the basement was always finished. I can say for certain that they take pride in their work. I would recommend Alure and if the need arose would use them again.
If youre willing to spend 177 days for a 10-day kitchen reno, choose Alure. I welcome Sal’s comments on how Alure did all the right things to rectify the problems, and I welcome you to read about my 6-month ordeal. In July 2020, Alure Home Improvements did a gut renovation of my bathroom. As a result of my satisfaction, I hired them to do my kitchen. Their prices are higher than most but if they do a good job, it’s worth it, right? The salesman helped me pick the design and my Project Coordinator took care of all the permits for the vendors, my co-op and my town. Well done. The renovation cost me over $21,000.00 for a 5’x9” bathroom. Within 10 months the plumbers were back 4 times: the toilet leaked twice, the pipe under the sink had to be replaced and the shower needed 2 parts replaced. In November 2020 I paid Alure a $6256.00 down payment for a “10-Day kitchen. My salesman said it takes 2 ½ weeks with permits. When my Project Manager handed me the schedule day 1, the project was slated for 4 ½ weeks. “You don’t need to be home, use a lock box,” everyone from Alure said. Had I not been home I would not have known the electricians didn’t show day 2 of the project without notifying Alure. It was the first of many mistakes that set the project back due to lack of communication between Alure and their vendors. Considering I was paying premium price I did a lot of my own project management.Regarding the design, I was shown 3 packages, 2 of which I could not afford. Maybe these 2 include solid wood cabinet doors but mine did not. It’s hard to tell the materials on a design board but I assumed “solid wood cabinets” meant the panels in the cabinet doors were solid wood. Not the case. The box of the cabinet and door frame are solid maple, but the front panels are thin painted MDF.My cabinets came without pantry shelves and a broken door; a cabinet box was cracked, and they left several untrimmed cabinets and structures. Shims were left sticking out. My dining room floor was scratched from the guys storing and moving materials. “We’ll send our floor guys to fix the floor,” my PM told me, but I know you cant “fill” deep scratches in a wood floor. A “repair” would have meant redoing the entire floor and more people making a mess in my home. Alure doesnt realize is that customers need to adjust their schedules and reorganize their home every time a contractor makes a visit. I have not been able to put my kitchen back together for 6 months. In 2021 materials take longer to get in, so each time Alure ordered replacements for missing or damaged parts the project was greatly delayed. New materials were sent to the wrong place, a cabinet door of a different model was sent as a replacement. When I escalated my complaints the Director of Operations blamed mistakes on the suppliers saying, “We can’t get good people in the factories because everyone would rather be on unemployment.” My PM once told me a replacement part was lost by FedEx and there were no tracking numbers. Many of the “corrections” made were insult to injury. Replacement parts were damaged, a new cabinet was put in crooked to the counter The last straw was when the carpenter for the “final” repair came 2 days early, to do 1/4 of the job, more poor communication and disregard for my schedule. To reschedule, the Coordinator made me tell her all of the outstanding items when she, the PM and the CEO had lists and pictures of everything that needed to be done. To the end I felt like I was doing everyone’s job for them, not what I expected for the price I paid. In the meantime, Alure had all my money, paid in full for 4 months. I had no recourse. I gave them nearly $38,000 for a 110 square ft galley kitchen that took 6 months to complete. Now 177 days later, my 10-day Kitchen is done. I am sharing my story so I can help consumers can make an educated decision when choosing a home renovation company. What I have written here is fair, honest and accurate. I would never recommend Alure Home Improvements to anyone looking for a contractor.
We just had our foyer ,office and living room tiled by the Alure Team they removed a wall and installed a custom steel beam header. They re-did new moldings and doors on most of the first floor. From beginning to end every team was great to work with. Our project manager Justin kept us in the loop with everything that was going on and followed up after everything was done. I recommend Alure to any one looking do you have a great experience Remodeling their home .
I cant say enough good things about this company! In the spring, we contacted them to do a major kitchen renovation, which involved removing a wall, gutting and reframing the old kitchen and dining area, putting in and finishing a new wood floor, and installing all new cabinets, countertops, and appliances. Two designers came to our home to give us a rough estimate and plan for the renovation. We told them that we had plans to go away in July, and that we were entertaining house guests the following week, so we needed the job done by the 11th. They said it could be done, and so we signed on.The following week, we went to their showroom, and what a pleasure it was to have samples of cabinets, countertops, backsplashes, etc. all in one place! We gave our designer a budget figure for what we could afford, and she spent hours with us picking out everything, and meeting our exact budget figure. After a second visit to the showroom, we had everything finalized.A few weeks later, cabinets were delivered, a demolition crew arrived to begin the work, followed by framers, carpenters, plumbers, and electricians. Each time a work crew came to our house, our project manager was there to make sure all went according to plan. He coordinated everything, including working with the appliance store to arrange for timely delivery of the new refrigerator, range, and microwave we ordered. In addition, our designer came back periodically to make sure we were happy with the progress of the work, even though her work was already completed.By the beginning of July, everything began to come together, and it was beginning to look like the kitchen we dreamed of. Within a few days, the kitchen was usable, and the only major work to be done was to stain and finish the floor. After that was done, the carpenters returned to clean up our punch list of minor details to be completed. They did everything - and did it well - ON JULY 11!If you are looking for a company that handles and coordinates every phase of your renovation, then Alure is for you.
Great experience working with Alure. They were very professional in the sales side, we never felt pressured by the sales team. Also the work was done well by the team and they finished ahead of time. The house looks amazing. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have siding replaced on their home.
Cynthia was a wonderful project manager. She was responsive and helped to move things along throughout the project. The installers were great and got everything done quickly. The bay windows look beautiful and are high quality fiberglass. When there was an unexpected “hiccup” in the install, they dealt with it quickly and efficiently. They were reasonable on price, willing to negotiate and understood that this project will turn into another if the customer is treated properly. I will definitely be using Alure again in the future! Thank you!
We used Alure to finish our basement this summer—creating a playroom/TV room for our kids and bathroom. From start to finish they were super easy to work with, professional and extremely responsive. Our project manager Frank Stehlik was super responsive and on top of everything (and the whole rest of the team was amazing too). He was also very flexible with changes we wanted to make and just wanted us to be happy. They also handled everything with permits and inspections and coordinated with any other 3rd party, making it as easy as possible on us. Our basement now looks amazing! Highly recommend them!
They do not do the work themselves. Everything is outsourced.A job that I was told would take a few months took 9. I was told I would only be out of my house for 6 weeks and we were out 6 months. I did a dormer on my home.. they took the roof off and didn’t show up for weeks. They left us hanging so many times without anyone showing for long lengths of time. They damaged my chandelier in my dining room. They took it off the ceiling and put it in my bathroom tub. After winterizing our house they turned the water back on.. Ran water in the bathtub with our light inside it.. my light was frozen in a tub full of water. There were things missing in my home that they compensated for but they were still missing. They sprayed mortar all over my neighborhoods home and then used their hose without asking the clean their tools. Damaged an original ceiling that shouldn’t have been touched. They put up crown molding with scrap pieces that had to be ripped down and done over. The project manager rescheduled a meeting with us and my husband found him sleeping in home depot parking lot. And so so so much more!!!!Now fast forward a few years later we need our windows fixed. I called and requested that they come. They took my measurements. Waiting the 2 months I was told to wait to find out that they lost the order and never put it through. So another guy came out and took more measurements. We were told again to wait 2 months. After waiting the two months I sent another email asking when they were coming to be told to wait 6/8 months. After then calling to tell them this is unacceptable, it was their error (which at first she tried to say it was the window company, forgetting that I knew the truth) now we’re waiting 6/8 weeks. When I got the phone call about the time line change she made it sound like she was doing me some sort of a favor and I should be thanking her even though she messed up. If she made that kind of a error to begin with shouldn’t that request to expedite the order been made in the beginning? Thanks Alure.. you’ve made working with you an experience I’ll never forget.
Alure did my siding and replaced all my windows in August 2018. Everyone, from Bob the salesman, Brian the project manager, and all the workers, did an excellent job. All were very professional. Then in January of 2020 I got a small leak in my roof. I dont even know if it was related to Alures work. I called them and they fixed the leak two years later, no questions asked. Augie then fixed the sheetrock and painted the ceiling. Very impressed how they stand behind there work. I highly recommend Alure to anyone who needs Home Improvement work. Jim McQuade
We had Alure help us with a home extension and kitchen remodel. It was a major project which included a new foundation, HVAC, bathrooms storage closets etc. The project was done during the pandemic which added additional challenges. Our kitchen design was handled by Chris Ann ONeill. She was great with everything. Our initial point person was Carmine Auriemma. Carmine was helpful in explaining the project and helping us get started. Project Manager Rick Burke communicated well and was very thorough. A house remodel is never a fun experience, especially during a pandemic. We are very happy with Alure and their team and would highly recommend them and their work!
A few years ago, we went into the Alure Showroom, and met our Designer, who designed our kitchen, and a few years later our bathrooms. Perfectly done, but what really sold us, was months after our kitchen was done, a small Part in our dishwasher broke, causing a small flood. After getting the dishwasher company to pay for the work, with Alure helping us get the appropriate paperwork, they redid our kitchen. They also were responsive to all repairs based on our warrantees, and the service department was always professional. Some of our friends loved the work so much that the booked jobs with them as well. But the most amazing part of this, was we were awarded a free vacation to the Rivera Maya Mexico, at the Hard Rock Hotel. We had an amazing time, a special time with other people who booked jobs and staff from Alure.I would recommend the staff, because they did a great job, and the company because they stand by the work.
We recently had our bathroom and several closet spaces renovated to make our home more efficient using Alure Home Improvements. As everyone knows, renovations are fun in idea but can be a challenge otherwise. Working with Alure took so much of the challenge and burden away. As a company, they handled all of the planning, correspondence between staff, day to day problem solving and all the quirks that arise during construction with ease, timeliness and a smile on their face! From the start, our designer Christina Piekut was so creative and forward thinking in her design plans and she was also extremely responsive to our ideas during the process. Mike Kelly our project manager was there at every step along the way ensuring our house was well cared for during the process, the project ran smoothly and all matters were dealt with immediately. The construction crew of Adrian, Alex, Marty, Slavic and Kaz were kind and considerate during the entire process. They truly cared about the quality of the work they were doing, as if it were their own home! Matt the electrician is truly a talented soul. We have an old historic home and he was able to problem solve in ways we did not think were possible in order to provide lighting exactly as we wanted it! Elvis the plumber was extremely efficient and accomplished what seemed like an enormous amount of work in a short time. Joe was also extremely helpful in fixing a tiny shower head glitch at the end of the project in a timely manner and with kindness and consideration. All of the Alure personnel were extremely kind and considerate of my family while the renovation was happening. It was truly one of the best experiences weve had thus far. I highly recommend using Alure for your home improvements!
I recently had water damage that destroyed several walls and flooring in the rooms adjacent to my hallway which included the kitchen, bathroom, and 1 bedroom. Eric Clemente was at my house within hours of calling and not only walked me through the logistics of the necessary repairs but he also worked with me with regards to payment as it took several weeks for my insurance company to provide the claim payout. The installation was seamless and the place looks as good as new. The crew worked quickly and cleaned-up nicely after. I would highly recommend using Alure for any type of renovations that you are planning.
Alure helped my wife and I replace our roof this year and did a great job. We worked with Paul and Tim who were very helpful and communicative. The roof looks great, Alure cleaned up all the debris and we have no leaks! I would definitely recommend Alure for any kind of home improvement work. You’ll get quality work that you know they will stand behind.
We just completed our second project with Alure Home Improvement, and are planning on a third. We chose Alure to do the kitchen remodel because ,as expected, they finished when they said they would and the quality of the job was excellent. Did it go perfectly? Of course not, does anything? But any concerns were addressed by the project manager, Joe Russo quickly and completely. Billy Coen worked with us in our home to create my ideal kitchen, plenty of storage and workspace, with the exact finishes I was hoping for. On to our next Alure project!
WE had a kitchen remodel that went very well. The designer Gina, helped us see potential in our kitchen we didnt know was possible and was able to show us exactly what we would be doing using the latest design software. She was able to maximize the space and give us a modern feel. Great communication from start to finish!! The process was a pleasant one, the various workers were respectful of my home and did a great job. I recommend Alure to anyone who wants a new fresh look in their home.
We hired Alure to redo our first floor bathroom a few months before my son’s wedding and they did an AMAZING JOB!!! We received SO MANY compliments from our guests during the wedding! Greg G. was our designer and he did a great job of letting us know all our options and made many suggestions for what we could do in there. We weren’t exactly sure what we wanted to do, so we put our trust and faith into Greg and Alure and they definitely didn’t disappoint us. The outcome was a gorgeous bathroom that was done in only 5 days!!! They were with us every step of the way, so we highly recommend Alure if you want to work with a professional and friendly staff, creative designers and a company that will be with you even after your project is completed. We will be contacting them in the future for our other projects!!
We contracted with Alure to remodel our bathroom, and we are pleased with the quality of the final product. From the design process handled by Rocco, to the permit application handled by Diane, and finally the execution of the project managed by Justin; I am impressed with the level of professionalism and responsiveness of the team. I was kept abreast of developments every stage of the project. We will certainly work with Alure on other project in the near future.
Timothy Olsen and his team were absolutely fabulous in the home renovation of my siding . Together with Omar the designer they made my dream home come to life . I bought a house that needed a complete makeover. Upon meeting with Omar he listened to what I was looking for in my project make over and then together with Tim the project manager they fulfilled and executed all of my expectations . Best of all , these guys are truly professional in their field . I worked with many contractors in the past and I must say this team not only completed the project as I expected but they also address any questions or concerns I had in the process .Can’t wait to use Allure again when I redo my kitchen . Satisfied 100 percent .
I would love to give Alure 5 stars but I cant. The work they did to renovate our bathroom was fantastic. Our new bathroom is beautiful. The Project Manager, Joe and the workers did an excellent job. The problem was after the final payment was made the customer service to obtain the final inspection approval by the Building Inspector was absolutely horrible. They dropped the ball and I was forced to make the arrangements myself. We are very disappointed with the after project customer service.I received a personal phone call from the owner of Alure expressing his concern and his apology to me was very appreciated. I will have no problem recommending Alure to my friends. I gave them another star for the apology.
My exterior siding and doors were done 25 years ago. It was literately falling apart. But do to the bad experience with the company 25 years ago I was nervous with hiring the right company. After receiving multiple quotes to replace my siding and doors I decided to go with Alure. My exterior design consultant Paul Abriola was wonderful. He arrived to my house on time with the tools for the meeting including samples of the siding and pictures of the doors.Paul was kind and understood my nervousness and reassured me that the job would go fine. He guided me through each step of the project. The job was done in 5 days and I couldn’t be happier. The price was fair. I also would like to thank Tim Olsen the production supervisor and Jeremiah and his crew who worked hard on my house. But most of all a big thanks to Paul Abriola to get me through this job.I would have no problem using Alure for my next project. THANK YOU!!!
Windows and roofFeb 03, 2019 by Donna PaulsenI needed to replace my windows, roof and gutters. I contacted Alure for an in home estimate. During the meeting I was provided with different options at competitive pricing. Each proposal was explained in great detail enabling me to make an informed decision . My windows make such a huge difference in keeping the cold out and look amazing. I was also able to pick the color for my roof from a wide selection. I was very pleased with the quality of the materials and the professional installation. Both projects took one day each to complete. The installation and clean up were awesome. The attention to details is always desired but seldom delivered. Not the case with my dealings with Alure. From my initial phone call to the project completion I received the utmost courtesy and professional experience. If you are looking to make improvements to your home and to not get ripped off with hidden costs, I would definitely recommend a call to Alure. I could not be more satisfied with my experience with Alure Home Improvements.
After deciding to remodel our kitchen we contacted Alure for a quote due to their popularity and a referral from my husbands grandmother. She used them for her bathroom remodel and couldnt be happier with the service. Never would have thought we could design our entire kitchen start to finish within a few hours from home. The designer Rocco was amazing and helped us choose flooring tile, cabinets, back splash and the countertop. Even had some extra ideas we would have never thought of. The rendering design they provide is a bonus allowing you to see what the completed work will look like. They also give you a referral to Plessers appliances which was convenient as they work closely with the company (and their prices were cheaper compared to other appliance retailers). Plessers sent all the measurements for our new appliances to allure and scheduled delivery according to the project timeline. This made communication so much easier. The project manager Justin was most attentive and responded quickly to any concerns we had. He stopped by throughout the job to check the progress and answer any of our questions. Along the way of gutting the kitchen we found issues from our builder and even water damage in our electric box we never knew about. Alure took care of any issues that came up and made sure everything was now up to code. The work was done fast and aligned with the calendar they provided us for each day and different crews. Everything was very organized, which we greatly appreciated. All the workers were pleasant and again helpful with any questions we had. Along with the kitchen we had our back door replaced with sliding glass doors that have blinds inside the glass. They are a dream! We also had our gutters replaced and upgraded to wider ones. They have made the biggest difference and we no longer have flooding issues. At the end of the job, Justin made sure we were happy with everything. He really was great and I couldnt be happier with the service. We have received nothing but compliments and positive feedback on how amazing our kitchen looks. I love my kitchen! We are so happy with the end result. It was the best decision we made to call Alure. We will be using them in the future for our bathroom remodels when the time comes. We highly recommend them.
We are thrilled with the exterior transformation to our house and so glad that we put our trust in the capable and dependable hands of Alure Home Improvements. Omar’s design perfectly captured the look we were imagining and Tim and the Alure crews tackled the many obstacles these crazy times threw their way to make it all happen. Thank you Alure for helping us to fall in love with our house all over again!
Alure Home Improvements recently finished a major remodel of our home, inside and out.New roof, siding, windows and exterior doors and a new kitchen. We originally reached out to Alure last spring, and chose them from several contractors who quoted for the project because of their reputation and if Im honest: just the positive vibe we got from our first meeting with their sales consultant Bob Sansivero. Incidentally, Bob was the only sales person who actually turned up when he said he would which - when youre taking a day off work to have someone come to your home - was a refreshing change.Anyway, Bob looked at our wish list, our budget and had numbers back to us in minutes. Hes a proper gent. After meeting with our (exterior) designer Omar, Alure connected us with an expeditor to help us navigate the permit process. Because of where our home is, and Covid shutdowns the permitting process dragged on for months and probably wouldnt have happened without our planning expert Diane, who was in constant contact with the village on our behalf. With the permits in place, the remodel was super quick. I received a call from Tim (Olson) the day the permits arrived, and his team started the following Monday. The roof went up in a day. The siding and windows were replaced within a week. The only hold-up was a long wait for a new front door, but that happened on the supply side.Tims team did an incredible job. Were delighted with the quality of the work. To give you an idea of the attention to detail, when the roof was going up they had a guy combing our lawn with magnets to catch any stray nails that came off the roof.I cannot recommend Alure and (especially) Tim Olsons team highly enough.
Alure is a terrific company to work with. Paul Abriola did a great job setting up all the details of the job, and Tim Olsen was always there to manage the project every step of the way and answer any questions. The workmen always showed up as promised, and their work was of exceptionally high quality and craftmanship.Alure has now done three major projects in my home, and I will definitely call them again for the next one. I highly recommend them for any work that you may be considering.Thank you, Alure!
We recently completed a remodel of our two upstairs bathrooms and couldn’t be happier with the finished product! Our designer Liz Clemens was patient and helpful throughout the selection process. Our project manager Sal Vines was always available with any questions and it was clear that our satisfaction was their top priority. We heard about Alure from friends who are satisfied customers, and we now recommend them to our friends! As we embark on a kitchen remodel and construction of an in-law suite, we look forward to working with the fine team at Alure once again.
Dear Mr. Salvatore Ferro, Our names are Miriam and Jorge. We had a complete roof job done by Alure in April 2021 and want to acknowledge the excellent and professional services we received from several of your company’s representatives. We’d like to highlight the salesman, Mr. Bob Sansivero, whose presentation was thorough, detailed and spot on right from the onset of our first meeting. Bob’s knowledge base of the company’s guaranteed roofing product and its application was expertly explained step by step and shown to us on a small scale area while he applied each layer of roofing products which your roofing crew would be installing on the designated day. As a qualified, adept and confident salesman Bob fully addressed all our concerns and offered possible solutions to boost our confidence in the company’s expertise and customer care without using any pressure tactics. This class act was followed by Joanne Minkoff, who exposed us to the various financing options available through different companies. She made sure we received the paperwork, via email, and followed up by providing applicable instructions needed to complete the application process in a timely and efficient fashion. Our next breath of fresh air was Cynthia Brill, production specialist, who was awesome! She not only responded to our phone calls and emails, but went the extra mile by providing us with her personal cell phone number to ensure we had access to her in case we needed any questions answered. She is truly an asset to Alure and if we had a business we would hire her without hesitation as our employee to represent our company.During the installation process we had the pleasure of meeting Mike (foreman), because Luis who assured us that our pavers would be protected, was involved with another project. Luis, although working behind the scenes from another site, was in constant communication with Mike to ensure our pavers were protected and that our concerns were professionally addressed. On installation day we had an issue which Mike and Eddie (crew supervisor), resolved immediately. On the following day, another issue requiring a remedy came up, and Mike and Eddie returned to our home to inspect and resolve the concern to our satisfaction. In conclusion, the roof installation was professionally completed on time, without a hitch and we are extremely satisfied with the outcome. The actual job looks so much better “in the flesh” than the computerized rendering of our home! Thank you Alure and employees for doing such an exceptional and caring job without missing a beat! Sincerely, Jorge & Miriam
All promises for service were kept. Every contractor was on-time, competent, clean & courteous. We had two follow-up items that we reported after the initial work was done on our bathroom. Both problems were fixed the following morning. While everyone of Alure’s folks were great, a special “thank you” to our project manager - Joe Russo - who was extremely responsive & thorough. Our chief carpenter - Fred & his wife Elizabeth - were without equal. Great ideas & advice and so pleasant to deal with. All around great experience with Alure.
I have had the great pleasure of Alure updating two very important rooms in my home: my kitchen and bathroom. Each and every representative that I dealt with either by phone or in person was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant. Ken Gold, Joe Russo, Rob Weiss, Patty Tallini, Freddy, and Cathy from the service department are all amazing people. My rooms turned out beautifully, they are everything that I could have hoped for and more. It is rare today to have completely stress-free work done in the home, and Alure has come through for me on so many levels. Alure Home Improvements does meticulous work and stands behind it immeasurably.
Alure did an absolutely beautiful job on our sunroom. We LOVE it and are spending most of our time in it. RJ, the installer, was exceptional. He worked closely with us throughout the building phase, answering all of our questions, making adjustments when we requested them, and being a true craftsman. Frank, the supervisor, has been completely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. We have very much enjoyed working with him. Definitely go with Alure!
Great experience. New home owner that did a bit of competitive shopping for new windows and found that Alure had the best pricing. Had 13 windows replaced, a new window put in the wall and sliding back doors replaced. From beginning to end the process was painless. My wife and I worked with sales professional John and project manager Tim. They worked around our schedule and kept in contact to check up on how everything progressed, as well checking in more than a week after the project was completed to make sure everything was still to our liking.
I did a 5 day bathroom with them over 10 years ago and it is still the best decision my family ever made. We had a horror story with our downstairs bathroom and 3 different contractors needed to come in to finish it and I went from store to store picking up all the different materials so when we were ready to do the upstairs bathroom, I was not going with a fly by night company. We got several estimates and Alure was close to the same price, but they offered so much more. I did not have to go pick out things in different stores and then go pick them up and do all the heavy lifting, they brought the showroom to me and we were able to pick everything out at our kitchen table. We sat with a designer who looked at our taste around the house and was able to help guide us into picking the right color scheme, materials and helped a lot with the layout. We always assumed that since we had a 60 inch 1 sink vanity, that was what we would replace it with, but with some design tips from our designer Mike, he gave us options and showed us that with a 48 inch vanity, we would still get the counter space that we wanted, but it would open up the room and make it actually feel a lot bigger. We went with the option for the shower doors that had the bubble effect so that you couldnt see right through the glass, and it would give it a decorative look as well. With the pulse shower unit and rain shower that we put in the shower with jets, it made it feel like a true spa. To complete our bathroom, we fell in love with a tile we saw at the showroom in one of their displays bathrooms and that was the final touch that we needed. Emilio, our project supervisor, and his crew were great and they even finished in 4 ½ days! A couple of years ago, the mirror on the pulse unit looked like it was separating and I called up Alure’s service department, sent pictures to Cathy, which she sent to the manufacturer and it was actually a flaw in the design and they ordered me a new one, with the new updated style, and came to install it, with absolutely no charge. Now 10 years later, it still looks brand new!
After 20 years, I felt it was time to redo my bathroom. I attended the home show this past fall to search out some potential contractors and spoke with Greg from Alure. Having a friend who was happy with work done for her, I decided to use this business. Greg called and set up an appointment a few days later where we sat for several hours selecting from the many options he showed me. When the project started, Stan worked as the project manager, making sure that everything was done correctly and addressing any problems that surfaced along the way. I am thrilled with the results and finally have my dream bathroom. The entire team was professional, and trustworthy and I would highly recommend Alure for future projects.
Compliments to Alure Home Improvements for the wonderful new windows in my home. Today Tom and Jim were professional, efficient and very neat installing our new windows. Tim has been excellent to work with in coordination and follow through. Hats off to a great company that’s a pleasure to work with. Can’t wait to replace the rest of the windows. There’s a tremendous difference already in my home. We are warmer and don’t hear all the outside noise.
We had Alure remodel our kitchen and master bathroom and could not be happier with the results. They were very professional and their communication and follow up were exceptional. They worked with us throughout the entire process on the designs and layouts, and were responsive to any concerns we had. They even cleaned up every day on the job. Their workmanship is second to none and one very important thing you should know, they didnt disappear after the job was completed.Without hesitation, we would recommend Alure to anyone that is looking to have work done in their home.
My wife samantha hired them to put in new doors ,windows, and columns. Tim was exceptional to work with he provided fantastic customer service and was honest and pleasant. His crew including Jeremiah and Fernando were hard working and excellent . Jonathan the sales rep was also great. The experience was truly the best I could ask for and the work was exactly what we were hoping for!
It was truly a pleasure having Alure remodel our kitchen this summer. Our salesman was amazing and so supportive by helping us with all of our selections. The project manager, who was a great guy, came to our house daily to check on the work and make sure everything was going as planned. We also received a phone call each evening to let us know what to expect the next day. The contractors they used throughout the job were all skilled craftsman, very polite and cleaned up daily. Our kitchen came out beautiful, it got done as scheduled and we love it!.Thank you, Alure and to all your professional employees, we couldnt be happier. We will gladly recommend Alure to everyone!
It was approximately year ago when we decided to remodel our basement. We have over 2000 feet of living space so we were very diligent and discriminating when selecting the right company for the work. My wife Michelle and I began investigating independently to search the internet and local listings, for the best and most well reviewed company. Ironically when we were both done looking, we arrived at the same company- Alure Home Improvements! This made the decision a little easier. Nonetheless, we still interviewed three companies which included Alure, just to get different perspectives and costs. The education once again lead us right back to Alure as our selected establishment to complete our project. We were first introduced to Greg, the sales director who was the individual we maintained close contact with throughout the project. He explained every detail of the construction, how it would progress, and who our remaining contacts would be. We then were invited to their beautiful showroom and began selecting the initial materials needed for the job. Greg was there every step of the way. He was patient and sincere about his opinions In selecting The appropriate materials that suited our taste.Greg was also instrumental in the design of the project, and worked extremely well with Michelle in modifying any ideas through the construction that made sense as itA scale developed. Greg was a true gentlemen and professional, and was always responsive as well as extremely fair in assessing the overall cost of the project. He was a true pleasure to work with. Even after we completed the project, Greg was there to make sure everything came out to our satisfaction.Jimmy, was the foreman on the project overseeing the entire day to day construction project , and we remained in touch several times each week, and even daily when it called for it. I simply cannot say enough about this individual. He was so passionate and caring about our venture, we actually felt that we were his only clients while working together. He never let us down. If there was a question, he answered it? If there was a concern he addressed it? Many times he would do this with Greg’s collaboration and experience . This made Michelle and I feel very comfortable and wealways knew that no matter what situation were faced with, it was going to get resolved with little to no stress. This is exactly what you pay for- that is, leaving it to the professionals who do this “day in and day out“ to work it out. Working with Jimmy was like working with a family member in the industry- we were extremely fortunate he was assigned to our project. Alure is very lucky to have such an honorable, experienced, and caring individual working for them. He is an asset to their organization. When you have a project of this magnitude, it would be unrealistic to assume everything will go smoothly. We definitely had some minor issues, but none that Alure , and specifically Greg and Jimmy with their crew , couldn’t resolve and expedite to continue the process. They always managed to do it with a smile and with confidence. The crew would arrive each morning sharply at 8am as discussed. We have absolutely no regrets about using Alure and would highly recommend them to any one.In fact, even after the project was completed, we were so impressed with the quality of the work, that we called them back to do additional projects on the house- I think the biggest complement we could give them.Lastly, I want to mention Joanne, the financial coordinator. Joanne was always very clear and accommodating throughout the process. I want to thank her for the diligence in keeping track of all the different entities involved in the construction project. In the end, the basement was completed and came out spectacular! It actually exceeded our expectations, which is saying a lot.We received our certificate of occupancy a few days ago, and feel really good that we did this according the the “letter of the law“ and know that each stage was inspected and approved.
After a bathroom remodel 2 years ago we returned to Alure to have our house siding replaced. We couldnt be more pleased!Everybody we had the pleasure to deal with was superlative. Bob Sansivero-Sales, Omar-Design, Tim Olsen-Project manager and Elmer and son-Installation.We love the finished job, the product used, the price and the personal attention. Thank you Alure Team for a job well done!
After receiving multiple quotes to replace our siding, we decide to go with Allure and I’m very happy we did! Design consultant Joe May was extremely helpful and guided us through each step of the project. The job took 5 days and we couldn’t be happier. The price was fair and we will certainly use Allure for our future home renovation projects.
Alure is the absolute very best.I cant think there is any home improvement company that would take care of a problem that arises like they do.Alure did my kitchen two years ago and i had a leak this past saturday night and made a call to their service dept and there was someone to take my call on saturday evening.Monday morning Jenn who coordinates all the problems that arise had Greg at my house first thing Monday morning.Greg was terrific at figuring out where the leak was coming from and the whole issue was fixed within a few days.Greg was fantastic as well as Larry and i cant say enough about Jenn being able to take care of this so quickly. Alure covers you for a minimum of five years and to be able to take care of issues so quickly is remarkable in this day and age when you hear so many nightmare stories of home improvement companies.Issues will always arise when you have major construction but they are always there for you and give you peace of mind knowing everything will be taken care of. I always say you get what you pay for and Alure is the very best.
We had a 1920s bathroom that had to be taken down to the studs and completely redone. Alure was able to work through any and all the surprises that came up during the job. Whether it was with the city, or distributors, they managed to inform us and work around any of the issues. Especially during Covid!Workers on site were also extremely courteous and pleasant.
Amazing is how we feel of our almost new house. Having never renovated at this scale before, we were very hesitant to hire anyone. However from Day One we were impressed with the comfort we felt with Alures first point person Chris Ann, who miraculously gave us the kitchen we wanted. She listened to us and designed a kitchen that truly worked for us, unlike others that designed a kitchen that they thought we should have. She adapted quickly to additions we decided upon (like our new beautiful bathroom) and went above and beyond to ensure that the window and patio door were exactly what we wanted.Sadly she never got to see her design as Covid took over, but the work itself never stopped; and for that we are very thankful to Mike our project mmanager. He too was amazing, always keeping us in the loop. One impressive fact about Mike is he never forgot small details I might have been concerned about. He asked me to be patient ,as some things were taking a little longer because of the pandemic, but he came through on everything I asked. We were so impressed with Alure, that we have embarked on another phase of home improvement which we have confidence will prove just as satisfying.
Alure did it again. Had success before on a bathroom do over. This time I gutted out the basement and completely renovated. Thanks to Jason Eichenbaum construction went smoothly despite delays in getting permits from the county due to COVID-19. Such coordination at Alure gives me no hesitation at choosing Alure again for my next project.
Three years ago we had our kitchen remodeled by Alure. We were so happy with our new kitchen and the entire remodeling process with Alure that last year we decided to have two of our bathrooms renovated. Of course we went back to Alure. Christina Piekut was our designer and she made everything easy from start to finish. Besides the quality of the work we were impressed with Alure’s showroom which provides a “one stop” shopping experience. Christina made the selection of our bathroom fixtures and finishes a breeze. Her experience as a designer put together two distinct bathrooms that are beautiful and fit perfectly with our home. We could not have done it without her. We highly recommend Alure to anyone thinking about a remodeling project. Thank you for a beautiful kitchen and bathrooms that we will enjoy for many years!
First, I would like to say, if I could give Alure a hundred stars on here, I would! My husband and I just completed a kitchen renovation with them in May and they are AMAZING! From the start of the project with our designer Anthony Trozzo who worked with me designing the kitchen and figuring out how everything would fit in. He answered all my questions and was a pleasure to work with. We were assigned Sal Vines as our project manager who is outstanding and also a pleasure to work with! Sal told me what would happen every step of the way and what days the workers would be here. Keeping in contact with me by phone and text and showing up several times to make sure the work was being done correctly. He also answered every question that I had. The kitchen was completed in a little over a month and is absolutely gorgeous. Alure does everything right and are total professionals. Thank you Sal, Anthony and the whole Alure team for building me my dream kitchen! I highly recommend Alure to anyone who is looking to do renovations, you will not be sorry, they are fabulous!
Jennifer Stubbman and the entire Alure service department have gone above and beyond what I would ever have expected from a home improvement company. I have been a proud supporter of Alure for over 20 years and each and every time an issue has arose Alures service team has been right there to take care of it. Jennifer is truly top-notch. She really has a knack at being able to understand your needs and then satisfying them as quickly and efficiently as possible. I highly recommend using Alure for all your home improvement needs and if by chance you need their service department then you will also be totally satisfied with them as well..
Working with Alure for my kitchen and bath remodel has been a wonderful experience. Liz Clemens my designer was so patient and helpful in every aspect of the project. The professionalism of all the people involved has been superior. My project manager Sal VInes has been available and pleasant to deal with throughout. Im as happy today as I was when I began the project and think they are a great company to work with and I highly recommend them and hope to use them again in the future.
This experience was as good as can be expected. In fact, it was even better. The team was not only on time but were friendly, courteous and professional. They obviously cared about their work and it came out great. Tim, the manager of the project, was SO amazing to deal with and I would hope to deal with him again. Thank you Alure. This was not the first time using them and it will not be the last.
We have had 3 bathrooms remolded by Alure and couldn’t have been happier with the entire process. We have used the same designer and project manager each time.Rocco has great taste and ideas and Emiliohelped with the layout. The team sent to do the work couldnt have been more professional. Alure is like family and if I had another bathroom I’d call them again
This is bathroom #2 that Alure did for us. The personal and courteous staff in itself is worth having them do projects. However, their workmanship is tops - professional and the end result is beautiful. They are timely, neat and I think their prices are fair. I would definitely recommend Alure to anyone. Thank you Alure for my beautiful new bathroom!
This is our second bathroom by Allure. Rocco my designer for the second time works well with my taste and allows me to upgrade as needed. Emilio project manager is spot on, and once coming out to measure he made very value added suggestions as needed. This time he actually gave me a suggestion that not only was a cost savings but made much better use of my space. I can not say enough about my contractors Adrian and Chris young guys who have an eye for design, detail and a work ethic second to none! They take pride in their craftsmanship. They all were simply amazing and we could not be happier thanks to all involved.Sincerely,Mike & Kelly
We cannot say enough how happy we are with our kitchen and bathroom renovation. Alure was amazing. Everyone was wonderful from the minute we sat down with Gregory our designer to Emilio the project manager it was a wonderful experience. It looks like it belongs in a magazine. Thank you so much for a job well done.
We are completely ecstatic with our experience with Alure Home Improvements! We had contracted with Alure for a complete exterior renovation of our three story building. This included roofing, insulation, siding as well as every window and door. The job was completed on time and within budget! Every step of the renovation was explained in detail. The staff were prompt, professional and courteous. We could not be more pleased with our experience!
I am a very satisfied past client of Alure. I have had several less than positive experiences with other contractors over the years on various home improvement projects. Just the thought of doing a partial bathroom renovation was giving me a lot of anxiety, until I decided to come back to Alure. I know I will get the best possible result with Alure. I know the workers will treat me and my home with respect. Eric has made me feel very comfortable about doing the job the right way and I appreciate his honesty and professionalism. I look forward to having my home improvement project handled with expertise, care and in a professional manner and I am confident that Alure will do the job right and will make sure that I am happy with the end result.
We had a great experience with Alure re-siding our house with vinyl siding. It came out beautiful with a high level of craftsmanship. Pleasant and stress-free customer service experience from Sales with Jonathan Gilbert to Project Management with Tim Olsen. Thanks again!
Several years ago I had Alure do a vinyl siding job on my home.Since they did it, I was upset about the way my house seemed less warm than before.I am now having my home remodeled, and some of the siding had to be removed.I now see that Alure never put a house wrap on, nor did they do an adequate job of installing the insulation under the siding. They actually used my old torn tar paper!! What a disgraceful job.I wish I could add pictures of the poor job to this review.
After doing more research than Ive ever done for anything in my life, we ended up going with Alure for our Kitchen renovation. There were a few things that were very important to us… Design, budget, and time. When their designer Christina came to our home, I knew we were working with the right team. I use the word team for a reason. This wasnt just one of those sit down with a contractor and he promises you the world and then you get upcharged for every little thing. We designed a kitchen that we loved, Alure kept us in our budget, and once the project began the project ran on time like a well-oiled machine. Also, our kitchen ended up winning multiple awards for design. We were so happy with the work that was done and how the job was done, were going to start sitting down in the fall to discuss a bathroom remodel.
Alure recently ripped off my old roof and installed a new roof. Time fromquote to job completion was 10 days. Project was completed in less than one day. Latest materials were used and installers were professional. Jonathon & Tim were friendly and made sure I was satisfied with the project. I would strongly recommend Alure to all homeowners.
My husband and I wanted to have our home resided and Alure was recommended to us. Paul was a great rep, he listened to what we wanted, made great suggestions and was very thorough and professional. We loved the virtual rendering which helped us make a decision on color and trim. Dominic oversaw our project and made sure every detail was perfect. The workmen were so neat, no construction debris or squashed plants. They were real perfectionists when applying the siding and trim. Alure gave us a great team and provided excellent workmanship and customer service.
I had 2 bathrooms remodeled in my home. All of the work was finished on time and is amazing. Andrewz the installer was amazing and extremely friendly and professional. the office checked with me every evening to ensure the work was progressing on time and to ask if I had questions or complaints. I would use Alure for any work I need in the future. Thank you for a job well done.
We had two bathrooms done. I felt as if they were rushed and eye for detail was missed as a result. The quality of work was very good Andre was very good however not very clean. Overall I have two beautiful bathrooms however I had to stay on them for the little detail work to be completed and or fixed. I sense that their projects are too close to one another and felt as though I was rushed by every contractor that came into my home. The amount of personal attention outside of the showroom is lacking. The question is will I ever use alure again? Probably not. They certainly have a lot of skilled professionals but I feel that their workload is too high and theyre rushing through your project. I am disappointed in the amount of time it took for just detail work and the amount of cleaning and touch up I had to do as a result of the work. These guys Barrel through your house with such an urgency to the next job, leaving me with having to touch up walls and paint throughout the house. Again I have two beautiful bathrooms but it required a lot of work I do not recommend them not being monitored and leaving them on there to their own devices while the construction is going on. I expected a lot more quality work Quality Care for the abundance of money that was spent.
We hired Alure to replace three exterior doors, all of which required carpentry to install. The workmen showed up exactly when they said they would, and were very professional and courteous, The doors were just beautiful. A month later we had a small problem with one of the doors, and Alure was back here in a flash to fix. So nice to have someone you can absolutely trust.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to Carmine Auriemma of Alure who worked with me from the start of our project on my Daughters home in Bayside. In summary this was a big job which involved every facet of remodeling a home. Project Manager Rick Burke and his crew were great. Some issues did arise however all of them were addressed to our satisfaction. People like Carmine & Rick Do the Right Thing They are Alure Assets. End product was great. We are all very pleased with the job and most important they come back when you call, you see our job was completed in Dec. of 2017 and when we called recently for a minor issue they responded. Thank you Carmine & Rick this review was long overdue. Based on our experience in 2017 we hired Alure once again in 2018 for my home Whitestone.
We just had Alure back to our home for a second time for work to put in windows and a sliding glass door. As always, the work is exceptional and the workers are always polite and do such a great job. We are looking forward to the next project with Alure. They do an exceptional job.

I would like to tell you about my experience with Alure Home Improvements. My husband and I had Alure do siding and a new roof on our house about 8 years ago, The workers came when they told me they would be here to start. Very friendly and when they where done you wouldnt even know they where here... My property was spotless ! We where so pleased with the work we had them come back last year and do all new windows and a sliding door of the kitchen. Again everything was spotless, workers where friendly. We couldnt ask for more ! I have recommended Alure to my friends and they have had siding and windows done too and where very pleased.
We recently had our kitchen remodeled through Alure Home Improvements. From our initial consultation with Billy Coen to the final walk-through with project manager Joe Russo, we could not have been happier with both the experience and the end product. Their use of computer modeling performed on the fly during planning was incredibly helpful during the planning stage, as we could see different combinations in terms of the whole space, rather than relying on small sample pieces and hoping our vision would come to fruition in the full scale. Our kitchen was completed in the time promised and looks even better than we had hoped. They were extremely easy to work with, and never failed to address any questions or concerns we had from planning to completion in a timely manner. We highly recommend their services to anyone seeking to remodel their kitchen.
I worked with Gondal on a siding estimate. At the appointment he was so gracious and patient. He was not pushy like typical sales people. He structured several siding options that worked with my budget. Although I ultimately went with a different company; I would be remiss if I didn’t express the excellent service provided by Gondal!
They did a great job on my small kitchen. They maximized the space and did excellent work. The workmen were all very professional and tidy, and there was one person in charge to oversee everything. They took care of all the permits which is a nightmare all of its own. The majority of the work took two weeks. They sent an excellent workman afterwards to check and polish off all the final details. I have to admit that I had the minimum of clean up despite the extent of the work. They took the old kitchen down to the studs so everything is brand new and up to code. I would highly recommend Alure to anyone.
Alure designed and installed a bathroom in our house a few months ago. I am extremely happy with the entire experience, and finished product. Alure surpassed my expectations in every way. After going through this process with Alure from start to finish, its easy to see why they are a true leader in Home improvement.Every step of the way was professionalism, follow up, all questions and concerns fully managed. Again, Ive had experience with traditional contractors, some good some bad, but nothing compares to the Alure experience. 5 Stars.
It has been two months since Allure finished remodeling our kitchen and bathroom. Long enough for my wife and I to find the little flaws that we didnt notice in the excitement of the job being finished. We havent found any.the project started with us going to browse in the Allure Showroom. There we met Chris Ann ONeill and Marc Zeilander. Chris Ann would guide us through the planning of the kitchen, while Marc helped us with the bathroom design. Many hours were spent in both the showroom and our home helping us to make the most of our space. Details were pointed out that we would never have thought of on our own. Suggestions were made but we were never pushed to do anything. If we didnt think the idea worked for us we moved on. The friendliness, courteousness, and professionalism of both Chris Ann and Marc convinced us that Allure was the company we would us for our remodeling jobs.We were then introduced to our project supervisor Matt Donofrio, he would organize the work being done and keep the job moving forward. Before a workman entered our home he gave us a rough schedule of when each part of the project would start and end. his estimated finish date missed by two days. they finished two days early. As the projects progressed Matt would provide us with updated calendars for the week or two ahead. if we had a question Matt was the guy to go to. While Matt wasnt on site constantly we saw him most days ( including coming in on his day off to deliver materials that were needed to keep the project moving), or we received a call from him everyday to see if we had any questions or concerns. Matt truly went above and beyond to make our experience a positive one.All of the craftsmen who entered our home deserve our thanks and praise for their skill and professionalism, but I must mention one in particular. on day one of the project a gentleman by the name of Andre Zabielski arrived at 8am and said he would be working in the bathroom.over the next six days this man single handedly gutted and remodeled our bathroom. We are very happy with the quality of both the work and the people at Allure and highly recommend them for your home improvement projects.
Our experience with Alure for our kitchen re-model was first rate! From our designer, Blythe Tract to our project manager, Mike Kelly the process was as smooth as it could have been. Blythes design made our kitchen a much better working area. We bought a house with broken cabinets and drawers, a useless pantry, wasted space and other issues. Blythe worked with us closely to design a functional, spacious and beautiful kitchen. Mike Kelly was a top notch project manager. We were impressed with the different people that Alure sub-contracted. They were all professionals and had been in the industry for many years. Everyone went above and beyond what we asked for and expected. We definitely got more than what we paid for!
My husband and I have been through the process of speaking to MANY contractors around doing minor work on our home. We found that many companies did not want to be bothered with the small jobs unless they could get the bigger ones potentially down the line. So many never called back or even bothered to send the quote they discussed with us. We ran into Alure at the Long Beach Fair and spoke to them thinking it would be the same experience. They set up and appointment on the spot and Alure was available within 24 hours to visit. This has NOT been the norm. We have set up appointments for people to show up late or not at all. From the start we knew that John was honest, upfront and compassionate, He listened to my husbands ideas, inserted his and gave multiple options. One of the very best parts was that he provided a quote on the spot. AMAZING! No other company has come close to this service. When we finally signed the deal, we felt like we were working with a trusted family member or friend, not someone looking to make a buck. WE love Alure! We are excited to complete our project and do more work with them! JOHN is the very best!
Alure came highly recommended to us and once we met with them we knew why. Not only do they do gorgeous work, but their staff is second to none! We had our bathroom remodeled and couldn’t be happier. Their team is amazing and everyone was so helpful throughout the entire process. From beginning to end it was a wonderful experience. Thank you to all involved! Alure exceeded all of our expectations and will be the only company we work with from now on! We have nothing but praise for the outstanding work they did and will continue to recommend them to everyone we know. It doesn’t get any better than Alure!
We used Alure for a large project $130K that involved exterior and interior work. We chose them because they were more reasonably priced that the other quotes we received, which we attributed to their buying power and size. We also thought that they would get the job done more quickly by throwing a lot of resources at it. We also really liked our sales person, Paul. What we didnt like was the fact that interior and exterior had different sales people and project teams and there was no project lead. Communication was very poor and a number of errors were made that needed to be corrected by Alure. In the end, the project completion took a year and a half to complete from contract signing to CO.
We had our consultation with Mr. Jeff Surdi on Sunday June 23, 2019. Jeff came highly recommended by my coworkers who are all raving about his knowledge. The entire process was explained throughly with utmost professionalism and enthusiasm, Every question was answered in detailed. I will update all after our windows are replaced. Thank you Jeff for coming out on your day off. Much appreciated!!!Windows replacement!!! We had our consultation with Mr. Jeff Surdi who assured us we were going to be happy with our choice of using Alure. We are ecstatic with our new windows and sliding doors. Mr. Tim Olsen, our project manager, was absolutely amazing keeping me informed of when the order was placed for the windows and provided weekly updates on the arrival of the windows from the factory. Tom and Jim were excellent doing the actual installation. All my questions were answered. Tim also did a walk through upon completion of which we really appreciated as it shows this company is customer focused!!! I will be using Alure again in the future!!! We cannot thank Jeff, Tim, Tom, and Jim for the awesome transformation of our house!!!
I have used Alure over the past ten years to remodel kitchens and bathrooms, replace a backyard deck and install replacement windows. I have always been very satisfied with their work and their follow-up when minor issues have occurred years later.I recently decided to remodel a bathroom at a vacation home on Long Island and there was no doubt that I would use Alure to do the work.My salesman, Roman Gorelin, was really helpful as he walked my wife and me through the possibilities, and his suggestions were very helpful. My project manager, Mike Kelly, was very on top of things and was really flexible when I decided to make some changes doing the renovation. The remodeled bathroom is exactly what we wanted and workers left the area where the construction occurred in pristine condition.I am always very happy with the work that Alure does for me and have shared this with family members, who now also rely on Alure for projects in their homes.Don Freeman
I recently had work done in my home by Alure. Everyone I worked with was professional as well as warm and knowledgeable. My designer Blythe spent hours with us designing my whole bathroom and laundry room. Her ideas were spot on. I was looking for someone to bounce ideas off of and to tell me when something wouldnt work. Blythe did all that plus some. Even during the project she went above and beyond helping me with anything from color choice to hardware and beyond. Alure is a one stop shop which took away every ounce of stress. The whole project was effortless for me, the prices were incredible, and everything looks gorgeous! I cant wait for them to redo my basement and fireplace! I highly recommend this company for any work in your home!
I cannot say enough positive things about Alure. We hired them several years ago to redo our kitchen, bathrooms, windows and siding. They are worth every penny; their expertise, efficiency, reliability and talent combine to make them a superior company. From the beginning of the design work to the conclusion of every project, we felt confident that we were in the best of hands.
My roof developed a major leak in January, and I was referred to Alure to deal with it. The initial estimate was provided by Paul Abriola, who showed up on the coldest day of the year, inspected and measured the roof, and even calculated several options for financing. He described the project in great detail down to the physical properties of the materials to be used in the construction. The roof proved to be surprisingly affordable.A week later, the construction crew showed up at 7:30 AM under the supervision of Tim Olsen. The entire area was covered up with tarps to catch the remains of the old roof. I decided to stay inside during the project, and Mr. Olsen kept me informed about the progress of the work by phone. By noon, the project was finished, including clean-up and removal of all the debris. The new roof looks good, and should not leak for another 50 years. I am now a great fan of Alure, and can recommend this company without reservations.
If you’re looking for quality home improvement services along with customer satisfaction, look somewhere else. Alure had the opportunity to make my mom a very happy customer but failed miserably. My mom has waited 15 years to get our first floor bathroom ripped out and remodeled. She works two jobs and had been putting it off for quite some time because she was worried about costs. She finally took the plunge and signed a contract with Alure. Our bathroom renovation was scheduled to start May 8th. It did not start until July 25th. The lack of communication from Alure was absolutely absurd for the prices they were charging my mother. Days, phone calls, and emails went by without a single response. When my parents signed the contract in March, they were informed of being given enough time for the permits to be taken care of before starting the project. Apparently Alure didn’t plan accordingly since they made my mom wait until the end of July. Throughout the week and a half long process, there were many instances that my mom seemed displeased with. The multiple workers came in and out of our house without seriously asking if what they were about to do was okay. The light switch, shower shelves, tiling, and towel rack seemed to have been overlooked and installed in without any actual planning or heads up to either of my parents. However, nothing compared to the fact that Alure doesn’t do any painting and yet they claim to be this reputable company promising to transform your homes. My mom and I bought the primer, paint, and paint supplies necessary to finish her bathroom. The vanity, light fixtures, and towel rack were already mounted into the walls which is making the painting process 10x harder than it ever had to be. Joe Russo’s excuses were that 1) the men don’t paint 2) Alure was in a time crunch to go start a new project and couldn’t do anything about it. Not only was I furious to hear this but the simple fact that Joe could not have a mature conversation with my mother was beyond absurd. He didn’t even return her phone call regarding the issue. As stated earlier, they made my mom wait from late March of signing the contract, to today August 7th for it’s official end date. They should have rearranged dates or made a professional decision to ensure that my mom’s bathroom would be taken care of and not try to bang it out as soon as possible so that they could move on to their next job. Alure is an absolute waste of money. $26,000 later and my mom isn’t smiling like I was hoping she would be. My mom deserves a good chunk of her money back as far as I’m concerned. I’m not sure what Alure’s value as a company are but I would hope that they would be customer satisfaction and service, as well as communication. I would never recommend Alure to anyone. You’re better off hiring the mice from Cinderella. If negative star ratings existed, trust me Alure would be the first company to receive one.
Earlier this year my wife and I wanted to remodel our master bathroom. We brought in 4 companies ( all referred by friends ) When the Alure design team came to my house we quickly realized that they were not just a few guys who would do the work ( and farm out some of the work.. like electric for example ) but a full end to end remodeling company where they were responsible for all the work, from start to finish. Their design team worked with my wife and I to come up with the bathroom that we wanted rather than the bathroom that was the easiest and cheapest to do. When we signed the contract, there was not a doubt in the world that we made the right decision picking Alure even with them costing more than the others we looked at. Their “ crew “ from gutting to painting were professional, neat and the workmanship ( I had a lot of out of the box custom work ) was impeccable. We were thrilled with how it came out and what impresses us even more is after the job was complete and we paid the balance, we got a personal phone call from the CEO Sal Ferro who wanted to make sure we were happy with the project and to let him know if there was any issue that we could call him directly. That was great that a large outfit like Alure to have a CEO who wants to make sure his customers are happy. We have recommended Alure to others we know and will continue to use them on any projects we plan on doing in the future.Joe Iavaroni
Thank you Alure and All its employees!!! You are all phenomenal!!!It started with my designer, Chris Ann ONeill and together our vision came to life.So excited! Having my previous project manager, Joe Russo was a huge plus, as he was very responsive. My contact team, Patricia Tallini and Rob Weiss, were always touching base making sure to keep me abreast of when and what was happening throughout. The demo team, plumbers and electricians were so efficient and tidy. They were literally in and out wi th out a trace. My tile guys, Froylan and Pablo...WOW! Their accuracy and passion are evident, and they were a pleasure to work with. These guys certainly know their craft.I can wait for my final reveal! I have never stopped raving about Alure since my kitchen project a few years ago, and will continue to share my excitement about my beautiful new bathroom!JOB WELL DONE BY ALL!Respectfully,Loyal ClientMA Sulzer, Freeport
We knew our small and boring 1980s kitchen needed an update when we bought our 1920s expanded ranch-style house in 1994, but financing a mortgage and raising kids were our top priorities. Once we paid off the mortgage and college tuitions this year, we decided to update, and Alure was there every step of the way.Kitchen and bath specialist Rich Reese walked us through design plans and the daunting selection of materials in the East Meadow showroom, then continued to e-mail us more mockup designs until we agreed on a style. We opted to keep our existing stainless appliances, as they had all been replaced within the last 5 years. We contracted Alure to gut the kitchen, open up the narrow 3-foot doorway (into the dining room) to an open-feel 6-foot wide space, and install new quartz countertops that resemble marble, textured ceramic flooring, and painted, soft-close Waypoint cabinets. Without changing the footprint, they would move the refrigerator from an awkward placement in front of the mudroom door to the opposite wall, install an outdoor vent for the oven/microwave (no more strong smells when cooking fish or steak!), replace a 6-foot baseboard heating with a small 2-foot vented heating duct on one side, and add tons of cabinetry and drawers—including Lazy Susans, convenient pullout dual-garbage cans, and a tip out tray for sponges. They would also add flush-mounted lighting to the ceiling and underneath the cabinets.Project manager Stan Szlamka visited us several days before the job was to start with a calendar in hand, detailing what would be done on each of the 10 days, and then gave us a reminder call the day before and several times during. Rich even contacted us a couple of times to ensure things were going as planned. First day, the demolition crew began and finished so quickly. Subsequently, the carpenters, framers, and electricians arrived, each on their appointed days. There were days that the plumbing schedule went awry, but all in all, there were no great surprises when they opened up walls in our 90+-year-old home, which has been notorious for odd infrastructure problems. Painting was left for us to do.Alure promised us a 10-business-day kitchen and it took a few days extra (mostly because of a missing dishwasher part), but oh, what a difference! Our 23-year-old son—who never gets excited about home improvements—walks into the room every day and says, “I love this kitchen.” Four of us can comfortably be in the room at the same time, whereas before, two people would bump into each other. Again, we didn’t change the square footage: Rich showed us that by reconfiguring the space and opening up the doorway, the kitchen would feel larger and ultimately, work better for our needs. He was absolutely right! Now, the adjoining dining room feels larger, and we didn’t even contract Alure to do anything to it. We are now the proud owners of a gorgeous, contemporary kitchen we’ve always seen on home improvement shows.Thank you, Alure!
I just had a new roof, gutters and windows installed and I had a great experience. Tim, my project manager kept me up to speed on all that was happening throughout and made sure all was done well and to our satisfaction. From the day that Kevin came and gave us an estimate, through all the paperwork and clean up and follow up at conclusion the experience has been fantastic and I highly recommend them.
Ive been working with Jeff Surdi @ Alure to get new windows at my moms house. I live in Arizona and my mom is on Long Island. Hes really informative and made the best recommendations to fit her needs. My mom felt really comfortable talking with him and he took the time to explain everything to her..he was very patient. Hes also been keeping me in the loop with full details at every step. I highly recommend Jeff & Alure.
We completed two gut renovations – a powder room and smaller bathroom – and the replacement of a developer grade vanity and fixturing to a partially upgraded master bath via the 5-day bathroom program. We knew what we wanted with the flooring, and working with the amazing Billy Coen, selected everything else and scheduled the work. Everyone arrived on time, did the work quickly, and cleaned every day. The tiling is meticulous, it looks amazing. We priced other contractors, who all wanted us to do some of the work – ordering the vanities and arranging the delivery, etc. This truly was an easy, one-stop shop. You make the choices, make the payments, and Alure does the rest. The result: beautiful bathrooms. I’ve already recommended them to two neighbors and won’t hesitate to do so to others.
I just had my kitchen redone. I chose Alure because I knew they had experience with handicap renovations. They did not disappoint!!!!!!The disigner, Susan Bercarich, was so knowlegable and helpful. Always trying to think what would be the best available option for my needs as a wheelchair dependent person. She spent a lot of time with me and wasextremely patient and kind. Our Project Manager, Matthew Donofrio, was a pleasure to work with. Always trying to be accommodating scheduling work and taking care of whatever issues came up. He always took responsablity and assured us that it will be taken care of so we didnt have to worry about things. He was in charge and made things smooth and simple for us. I would highly recommend Alure Home Improvements!
We chose allure for our bathroom renovation because we are busy people and the project was supposed to take 5 days and be made easy by Allure. It was explained to us that there are cheaper options but that you go with Allure because they guarantee the work and use skilled craftsmen. Allure did get the materials delivered on time seamlessly but we are well over a week on the project and the toilet that was installed is leaking all over the place. The plumbers came back the night we reported the issue with the toilet. The workers are nice guys, the permits were handled well. While everybody screws something up once in a while, im disappointed that there was no communication about this, especially now that it is over deadline. Project managers should visit more to see the progress (or lack there of) for themselves. I will post a follow up once the work is complete.
We finished our entire basement with Alure we have nothing but the absolute best to say about them. The attention to every detail was incredible and the finished project is stunning. We had Juans team along with Jimmy the project manager for our most recent reno and Hectors team for our project 2 years ago. We are so happy we made the best decist to use Alure !! Thank you
There is not enough space here to describe the poor workmanship that I received from this company. Their attitude is that they will come in and rush through the job. Some of the contractors that they used didnt show up three times when scheduled. My 5 day bathroom took 90 days to complete and only because I had to keep on calling them. Yes, if you complain or dont like something, they will come back and fix it. But I ask you this question. How many times can you tear apart tile walls and window frames before it doesnt look like a new job any more? I am living with a crooked wall and ceiling and a cracked saddle because every time they tear it apart, it looks even worse. Every time I enter my bathroom I am disgusted. They cannot refute this. I have emails and pictures to prove how bad the job was. I would never recommend this company.I called because they responded to my review. Lindsey was very polite and understanding, but the damage is done and there is nothing that she could do. The CEO, COO and owner did not care that I had to hire another contractor to fix their work or that I had to spend hours myself fixing their poor workmanship. This company did nothing for me. They had all of my money within three days of starting the work and I had no recourse.
We are just swooning over here at the Lattimers with our new kitchen! ❤️🥰It’s so much lighter, brighter, and we have so much more counter space!!! Taking down the wall between the kitchen and the dining room made all the difference in world for opening the space up. 👷🏻♀️And the icing on the cake is the project was completed on time, in 3 weeks, and in budget! Whoop Whoop! 🙌🏻💸📅A huge shoutout to Alure Home Improvements for making this process as seemless and painless as it could possibly be. Billy our design and sales rep was amazing and stayed in touch throughout the whole project. He even stopped by after to see how it turned out. And Emilio our on site project mananger was fantastic. He always responded to text messages I sent and was proactive in communicating with us. ❤️🙌🏻And their partnership with Appliance World was super helpful and such a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend them as well! We selected all new appliances for our kitchen in under a hour and came in under budget.
Alure renovated our 60 year old drab bathroom and turned it into a place we’re all quite proud of. Their design process was very customer friendly. The interaction between our designer, Blythe, and my wife and me was extraordinary. Every component was a choice presented to you for selection, down to the knobs on the cabinets. Alure’s selection of items was so large, there was no need to chase around town for what we wanted. We had some demanding requirements but we were not rushed into a design we were not comfortable with. Our ideas, with suggestions from our designer turned into a written plan which included several stages, a list of specific materials which would be used, a payment schedule based on the progress of the work and computerized drawings incorporating everything. Next, the Project Manager came to review the site before demolition and double checked what was entailed and pointed out some variables, like possible relocation of plumbing. The dumpster came on time and was quietly set down an hour before the demolition crew came. The crew prepared the surrounding area for the unavoidable dust which would follow in a manner that clearly showed respect for our property. They vacuumed the area daily. The materials came and were checked for accuracy. When they found a non-matching box of tiles, they worked the phones and the tile distributor delivered the correct item on the same day. Whenever a question arose during the installation, Alure’s people always responded presented options. The final product was magnificent.Would I use Alure again? Actually, we did use them again.
I hired them to install new Marvin windows for my 3 bedrooms. The installers didnt install them properly - light coming through the gaps on the sides of the windows, different size of gaps between right and left sides of the same window, different size of gaps on different windows, didnt seal/insulate around the windows properly... Long story short, I called and their sales manager Mike came along with Marvin rep. They replaced a couple of the windows because the sizes were wrong. But the gaps on the sides of windows still big and have different sizes of gaps on different windows, even different gaps between right and left sides on the same window. I sent them the pictures. They told me Marvin rep. has determined the gaps on the windows are within tolerance. So it comes down to craftsmanship to minimize and even out the gaps. The sales manager came to inspect the windows the second time on 10/2/2018 and told me one of the windows still need to be fixed and he would arrange the installer to come back to fix it. That was last time I heard from him. I have sent them emails and called them a few time, no response. I think they stop taking my calls when they see my calling id.I paid $10,000 for my windows. The price includes 5 years labor, 20 years glass, 50 years frame as per contract. What good is their 5 years labor warranty when they dont even return your email/call to resolve the installation issue at the first place???I have waited a couple months for them to do the right thing. It never comes. I am posting this review to warm vulnerable customers like myself to be alert with this company. Yes, I see they are trying to build up good reviews here. The question is --- DO YOU WANT TO TAKE CHANCE WITH THIS COMPANY? Does it worth gambling with your hard earn money with this company? Whatever they say or put on paper, it doesnt matter if they dont honor it.
When I posted on the Next Door Site looking for someone to do the work at my cousins house at reasonable price I never thought that this would be the Blessed outcome. He was stricken we Cancer and needed work done at his home to make it handicap accessible. Sal responded immediately to my request and then we spoke. He has said he set up a foundation a few years ago to give back to the people of the community and kept his word and followed through. Eric and Doug were amazing as well as the workers on site. My cousin and his family are so appreciative for everything Alure have done for them. We will be forever grateful for your caring and generosity. It is people like yourself and your staff that give hope and faith in this world we live. I and my family will spread the word and continue to tell this story of how Sal Ferro owner of Alure Home Improvements and his foundation helped my family in a time of need. God Bless you and your team. The Ciresi FamilyKings Park NY
Had a very good experience with this company with my kitchen renewal. . Rich Reese the salesman we dealt with was very informative and helpful. Even during COVID Rich reached out to us to check on us as we waited for them to reopen. Emilio the project manager was always there and answered any questions or concerns I had immediately. All workers were polite and cleaned up after each day. Would highly recommend this company for any of your home improvements
I was referred by my brother who used Alure to dowork at his house. We needed a new roof and Mike Serra came over and spoke to us aboutthe job and the quality of the shingle and the warranty. We signed the contract and they did and excellent job, only took one day to complete. I recently called them back to do more work on my house which included new vinyl siding on the front and back along with the eaves. They also create a new overhang for my backdoor and showed me images so I could see how it was going to look. They are very neat and thourough when the job is finished you would never no they were there.I have recommanded 2 more of my neighbors to use Alure because of the quality of there workmanship. I hope they have the same great experience as I have had.I need a new patio door and Mike told me about the security features the door comes with along with the R-Valve of the glass. They will be coming back to do this some later this year.Everyone is very freindly and ther is no high pressure sales and they follow up once the job is completed to see if you are satisfied with the work.
Hats off the to the Alure Team. My 87 year mother was involved in an auto accident and was in need of a safe walk in shower. While mom was in hospital recovering, my brother from Dallas, TX came to NY and spent time with the design consulatant and designed our moms new bathroom. We chose Alure because we needed a TRUSTED contractor to work on moms home. My brothers and sisters live out of state and we couldnt be there though this process. Let me start out buy saying WOW what a job. Mom is thrilled with her new shower and we are thrilled with the smooth process. I can only say that I would recommend the Entire Team at Alure when your looking for a a quality job at fair pricing. From Sal the owner to all the employees thanks for taking care of moms home.Joseph M.
We recently contracted Alure to remodel our bathroom. Howie, our salesman, was very responsive to our needs and guided us through the selection process on materials and fixtures. Our project manager Stan, was in complete control of the job and ensured that everything went smoothly. Pawel and Karol did a masterful job renovating the bathroom, their work was impeccable.
I had Allure do my roof a few years back and service was great. I am writing this review now because I sold my house and needed to show for tax purposes the roof I put on the old house. I contacted Allure and they were able to provide me with a document to support this item. I wished they were in my current state of TN. Keep up the great customer service.
We had our kitchen completely redesigned by Mary Lotardo of Alure. Mary gave us five times the amount of cabinets we had before and they are all accessible. Previously my overhead cabinets were over the refrigerator and only reachable from a stepstool and the other was over the stove so I had to be careful not to set myself on fire. Dave Weber, the job supervisor kept things moving along. All of the people who worked on our kitchen were pleasant and very professional. My friends and neighbors were amazed at my kitchen’s transformation. I would not hesitate to use Alure again for any job.
I recently was in the market for replacement windows and was very confused on which windows to buy. I called a couple of companies that I found in the newspaper and was totally dismayed with their salesmen, they didnt seem knowledgeable and left me still wondering if I should buy the cheapest or most expensive I was almost ready to give up but decided to try one more time. I saw an Ad for Alure Home Improvements and gave them a call, I am so glad I did. When my salesman came to my home he introduced himself as Mateo. I soon found out that he wasnt just another salesman, but a master carpenter who gave me knowledge of not only the windows I wanted but everything else I asked him about my house. There never was any pressure and all my questions were answered in a professional and friendly manner. Mateo was right, Alure made sure that every step of the way I had a wonderful experience, from the salesman to the project manager to the installer great service before and after the work completed. I wouldnt hesitate a second to hire Alure again, and when Im ready to do more work on my home Ill call Alure and ask for Mateo to come and explain everything about my next home improvement project. I know I will be using them again. Great job!
Alure is the only home improvement company we would ever use. The quality of craftsmanship cannot be matched, but more importantly, their work ethic in incredible. Sal Ferro and his staff stand behind their work and make you part of their family. After initially remodeling our kithchen and bathroom, , Alure has rebuilt our house after Sandy, and our kitchen after another flood All times, they were supportive and quick to come to our aid. We love Alure and Sal Ferro..
Words can not express the continued level of disappointment felt at the poor quality of work performed by this company. 20 years ago after my father died my mom hired Alure to make some modifications to the house. Not one thing was done with quality workmanship in mind but at the time they kept coming back to fix what was wrong so she was willing to give them the benefit. A few years later she hired them again to put a sunroom off of her bedroom. Nothing but issues to the point where she finally stopped calling them back - too frustrating. I just had to fix the molding in the corning sunroom and am appalled at the quality of what was done in there. Not one piece of molding is continuous. It looks as thought it was pieced together with scraps and considering the high cost for this job Im truly feel that she was taken advantage of and i havent even mentioned the horrible roof job they did which she had to pay someone else to fix. Although so much time has passed, I get so upset to realize how much money she wasted on the sub-par work performed by this company. Money she thought she was investing in improving her home only to have to continuously hire and pay more to get fixed. Its disgraceful how they treat customers they can take advantage of; those who truly need a reputable company to provide quality work.
Changing 15 windows in my home. Great experience so far.Jeff has been responsive, straightforward and an absolute pleasure to work with. He made sure I understood everything and was respectful of my time and process. Best part was no hard sell.I’ll keep this review updated as the project processes.
Just over a year ago we contracted with Alure through salesman Brendan Scanlon to complete our basement. From beginning to end, we were pleased with the process. Brendan followed through on keeping in touch and making sure we were happy and the construction team was amazing. Each day they kept in touch on progress and cleaned up the space. The team worked so efficiently that a 1,900 square foot space was completed with the system in less than a week. Timing was a big selling factor for us. We didnt want to live in a mess for a long time and wanted a clean installation. As with any project, there was a minor blip with obtaining permits, etc. but Brendan and Alure quickly dealt with the delays and any frustrations we were having. We obtained more than a few estimates for sheet rocking the space and have to emphasize how happy we are with the product. After a year we can say we love it without any regrets and it holds up to a lot of children playing and entertaining. As for Alure, we would definitely consider them for another project down the line.
I remodeled my basement with Alure 10 years ago and it still looks brand new today. As a musician, I use my basement to practice and I chose Alure because of the sound proofing qualities of their panels. I even had one panel that got damaged and Alure replaced and installed it for me free of charge. Thats great customer service!
Eight years ago Alure did an absolutely magnificent kitchen/ main floor redo.. Everything went smoothly. I called recently about edges opening up on the bottom of my island.. Needless to say within a few weeks I have new bottom pieces all around my island. Alure fixed a problem eight years after the job was done !!!!!! They really do stand behind their work.. Thank you Alure!!
Just got our windows put in by Alure and we are are super happy with the result - they look excellent. Great pricing, incredibly personable and professional staff, install was very quick and easy and its a great product! Cant ask for more. Special thanks to Bob, Chris and Tim - all amazing to work with!
Were in the middle of a kitchen remodel right now. Having used Alure for 2 bathroom remodels,we knew they were the ones to trust with this tremendous undertaking. The experience has been (in 1 word): amazing ! In only 11 days weve gone from the original small, outdated kitchen to something that is almost ready for a layout in a magazine ! The time leading up to a big home improvement project can be a nerve wracking time but as soon as the 1st crew arrived,we knew we were in good hands. With Mike as our project mgr. everything has gone smoother than we could have ever hoped. The crews are consistently profesional and hardworking individuals who treat our home like it was their own. While there is some work still to be done until completion, we know it will be worth the wait. If we knew this was how a kitchen remodel would go, we would have done this awhile ago !
We recently had our downstairs bathroom redone by Alure. After twenty five years, the funky grey, black and salmon motiff had gotten a little tired! After a lot of planning going through materials and ideas with a very talented designer, we got our new bathroom completely redone in just 4 1/2 days--and we couldnt be happier!I am pretty particular and want everything to be done just right. Emilio and his crew took care of us in every respect. The mosaic style tile we chose for the floor was installed perfectly--no uneven grout lines like we put up with on a previous bath reno. The materials were all first rate and everything matched perfectly. I even got a linen closet and a beautiful tiled shower enclosure in my new bathroom.Alure definitely exceeded my expectations!
I recently finished my basement. Owens Corning materials are very quiet and looks high quality. Much better than a dry wall. Brendan and the team have done a great job. The work was very professional, clean and neat, and I felt respected by everyone in the team. The work was completed one day earlier than scheduled. Fully recommended!!
I have just signed up to have work done on the roof of my home. Although the work has not been done yet, everything leading up to the actual procedure was SUPERB!Both Janice and Chris, the project designers were thorough, completely professional and very patient in explaining what would be done, how it would be done and possible problems that would change the final price. The reason my wife and I initially signed up with Alure was my daugher who had and is having work done. When the Alure personnel state that if there is a problem they will fix it, they are stating the truth. When a problem arose with one of the projects at my daughers house, it was dealt with before my daughter and her husband even came down to the main office to voice their complaint. This indicates that Alure is reliable and certainly stands behind their work. I would recommend Alure to anyone contemplating any home improvement project!Robert A. Pollack
Bad customer service! We had our bathroom done about 8 years ago. It was supposed to be a 5 day bathroom, which turned into over 2 weeks! In the end, we were happy with the result. Come 1 year later, we had them come back to re-grout, but we had to repurchase the grout, fine, done. Now 8 years later, the tiles are lose all around the shower/tub; the nozzle/pipe broke and when I called Alure, the said youre out of warranty, we cant do anything for you. You would think you would want to stand by your project, even if we do need to pay out of pocket, say you will come by and see what can be done. NOPE! Nothing of the sort. Knowing we will need to break open the wall to repair the pipe they used, I asked if they could tell me the name of the tile so I can search for replacements. The girl says ugh, I have to look over your paperwork to get the name, can I call you back?. Seriously? The bathroom is tiny, I am sure the paperwork is all of 5 pages, you cant skim it to give me a name? I am so disappointed and would give them zero stars if I could. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ALURE!***UPDATE*** After adding this review, we received a call from Alure offering to come out and check out the issue. Not only did they do that on the same day, they came back the following day (today) to fix the pipe without charging us. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
5 stars, great workmanship have no problem recommending them on any work you would like done in your home.We where lucky enough to have Brian as our project manager. From start to finish he was there, stopped by everyday.. Can’t say enough.. WHAT are you waiting for, pick up your phone call Alure now.. Tell them Sonny told you to call.
We scheduled an appointment for an estimate and had to wait 3 weeks for it. My husband and I both took off work to be home, as they require all homeowners to be present at the time of the estimate. Our appointment was for 3:30. I waiting until 4 to call and see when they would be coming. Nobody at Alure had an explanation and weren’t sure why nobody showed up. They did say we are on the schedule and they apologized and offered to reschedule. Very frustrating when you take time out of a hectic schedule for a no show! Not a good start.
I had high quality but extremely reasonably priced doors & windows replaced, beautiful cedar impressions installed around the exterior and more. The attention to detail and quality workmanship was amazing. I highly recommend your company. The entire process could not have been easier for us.
I had two bathrooms done over by Alure over the summer, and we could not be happier. All the work was finished on time and done neatly. The men put plastic down on the rugs and covered the furniture with drop cloths to keep the dust off. 2 weeks after the job was complete and paid for I noticed a hole in one of the living room walls that was caused by the demolition of the bathroom. I called them and in 3 days there was a man there to patch the hole. That to me is worth everything. A company that will stand behind their work and their name.
Alure provided me with outstanding customer service. I was extremely happy with how my bathroom turned out. Alure has a team of knowledgeable professionals and exceptional workmanship! When I had some minor issues that needed to be addressed, Alure was promptly there for me to remedy those issues!
We had been planning to renovate our bathroom for a long time. The horror stories one hears about contractors was one of the main reasons why we kept putting it off. That was until Billy from Alure walked into our kitchen and sat with us for 3 hours and helped us design our new bathroom. He had cases of countertop, tile and cabinet samples, along with photographs and it made the selection process an absolute breeze. The job was started and each day a call would come from the head office advising us as to what was being done and who would be there on that day-how impressive is that!! Fred who supervised the job was in and out to ensure that what was planned for that day took place. Joanne from their billing department was a real gem in working with me re the payments.A wrinkle developed when the countertop was installed, in that it had a dark smudge across the front. We were told that since the stone is natural, these large spots sometimes happen. We sent an E mail to Billy and Fred about the problem that evening, and the next morning, both Patricia and Clare from their office were on the phone arranging for John to stop by and take a look, which he did that same day. Within 3 days, we had a new countertop, and they sent 2 guys to work overtime on a Friday night to finish that job. Johns words to me were we want you to be happy. In this day and age, when service is no where to be found, how often do you hear a comment like that?In my opinion, this is the only way to go when renovating. With the help of Alure, we created a new bathroom with fixtures, cabinets, bath, toilet, sinks, counter tops, and light fixtures, all without having to step outside our home. Alure also provides a 5 year warranty on everything, which is an added plus.We love our bathroom, and we get so many compliments on it. I cant say enough about the Alure people, and frankly, now that we have had such a positive experience with them, I would never use anyone else.
Alure did the siding on our home we couldn’t be more pleased. From the start with Bob The salesman helped with the estimate which was fantastic to omar in design center making my ideas come to life to Tim Olsen who checked on project to make sure all our concerns were taken care of which by the way were very few to the workers Elmer sr and Elmer jr who worked so hard and always with a smile we love how our home turned out.
Dave the project manager was always annoyed with his job. They did not follow what was signed on the contract. They reduced my window size in the bathroom. Dry wall contractor was in a rush and did not do the job right. There is a huge crack that stretches from one end of the wall to the other end in both bedrooms. Their foot came through the floor of the second floor and broke the ceiling of the first floor. Which caused it to brake my instruments (2 guitars). They didn’t compensate for it (my loss). The only reason that I gave them two stars is that they did do my basement and did a fantastic job. Patrick was a professional project manager. He knew what we were looking for and delivered it. That’s why I went back to them to do my upstairs bedroom and bathroom. They cost too much for the service they provide. I am not going to the for my kitchen and main floor renovations. I can’t afford the headache.
Stay far way!!!!! You have been warned. The 1st questions to ask them, if you dare to stop in to see them, to see if they use sub contractors. They will tell you no but I dont even think Alure owns a hammer. Trucks pull up to your house and there is a sign on the door that says Alure that is a magnetic sign that comes off when they go to another job. The gentlemen that come out of those trucks dont even speak English except for one. One worker got hurt and started bleeding when I wanted to call an ambulance they told me no please dont call but I was concerned because of all the blood so I told him I called any way. He went running off. One of the workers told me he was not a legal citizen that why he ran off. They engage in a bait and switch of products. If you question them about anything they turn in to trail lawyers telling the customer that they are wrong and Alure is right. We had a manger on the project Dom dont want to mention his last name on a public website but during the construction he quit half way through the construction but he was telling me every shady thing that Alure does. The work they do is shoddy and unacceptable. People walk up to my house and ask who did the work it looks so bad I say Alure. Than they ask why dont they come back to fix it and I tell them they wont there is nothing they can do and I have to live with it. So please do your self a favor and stay far far away. If you do use them print this out and keep it as a reminder I will bet 80% of the time I will be correct. Sal dont even try to respond you are the biggest lawyer of them all trying to turn everything around In your favor. I look forward to seeing you in court. They would get no stars but you cant do that. Please do your self a favor and stay away.
After many years of contemplating a new kitchen my mother had chosen Alure Home Improvements. It had been a relief as I assumed they would be there for her to resolve issues that would arise as they had guaranteed that they were a full service remodeling company. Unfortunately, since the project has started I have had to be at my mother’s house almost daily to oversee and resolve problems that have arisen. The staff that originally told my mother they would be there to oversee all steps of the remodel have not fulfilled their promise. The Alure staff formatted a layout with my mother with both product type and dimensions being spec’d. Unfortunately as the cabinets were nearing completion both my mother and myself realized that both the location and size were not what was originally drawn up. The island that was planned at 36-inches was only 30-inches. Although the builders acknowledged that this was an error they continued to build the kitchen around this instead of addressing the issue. Not only was the size wrong but the cabinetry itself was wrong. Spice racks that were requested in triplicate came with only one.Sadly as I tried to help my mother through this ordeal there was no one in charge responding to my calls. No one seemed to be able to send me the original drawing so that I could point out these errors to the workers. A job that I thought would be fully overseen by a knowledgeable staff was becoming one that was changing into a kitchen we had not ordered. The kitchen cabinets are not the only issue. The exterior exit door is rising 1.5 above the sub-floor. Although this would be sufficient had 3/4 inch tile been laid, when 1/8 vinyl floor is being installed, this is now in violation of Section 1008.1.7 of the 2012 IBC (Thresholds at doorways shall not exceed 3/4 inch in height above the finished floor or landing). This could lead to a hazardous situation. For one, my 86-year old grandmother would have great difficulty with this, as it leads down onto a lower step.Due to the lack of communication between the planners, project managers and sub contractors extra time and work has been needed on the project. This could have been eliminated if everyone was kept duly informed from the start. We have been chasing down the interior designer / planner for a detailed BOM cost to verify that the extra work mentioned above is not padded into the final bill and credited to the account as such. On our last meeting Wednesday September 9, 2015 she informed us that she had received managerial approval to release and would fax it over by the end of the day. It is now a week later and no documentation has come yet. This brings me to the point of this testimonial. As I had researched a bit more in-depth of Alure I tuned into Sal’s YouTube video How Alure Home Improvements Addresses Negative Reviews. He mentioned his praise of the ability of people to complain on social media because maybe the customer didnt want to interact. I personally have called your customer service center countless times. I have attempted to call Mike Camastro (the Vice President of Customer Service) on September 4th and September 14th. Ive tried to interact. Ive tried to call. But never once a return phone call. Sal said he wanted the opportunity to turn you into a raving fan, however with the lack of communication I doubt well get there.Sal - I welcome you the opportunity to react quickly, do the right thing, stick by them and turn them back into a raving fan. I would be glad to see this kitchen project turned into the project of her dreams.
From the first moment we stepped into the alure showroom my wife and i felt confident that we made the right choice picking alure to remodel our bathroom. the time blythe tract spent with us to make sure we were satisfied with every detail was amazing. we spentquite a bit of time picking out what we wanted to remodel and make our bathroom look spectacular. blythe tract and mike kelly were exceptional in helping and guiding us in the remodeling phase. mike was there every day to make sure the job was going as planned and the different contractors were true professionals. i have had much work done on my home in the 37 years i have lived there. this group was the best. excellent work and neat. my wife and i were satisfied with the job. not one problem after the job was completed. i would definitely use them again for other home improvement jobs if the occasion arises, i am sorry that i did not use alure for previous bathroom and kitchen remodeling. thanks again alure. excellent job.
I had a very pleasant experience with Alure. The guys were fast, they cleaned up after themselves every night and always asked if I had any questions or concerns at the beginning and end of each day. The work done was very professional and I would use Alure again for any future work needed.
This would be 4 or perhaps 5 star except for the installer who forgot to bring his helper placing me in the uncomfortable role of unpaid assistant. Otherwise pretty much 1st class in sales and product. Follow up was good however, in responding to small corrections which were resolved in a satisfactory manner. This is not the contractor grade window company unless you specify that. Far less cost than the other company who advertises constantly, guess who pays for that?
The 5 day bath is amazing. They gutted the old bathroom to the studs. Put in a new floor with mud job, new bathtub, toilet, exhaust fan, light fixture.... everything! What amazes me is that this is not a schlocky bathroom, with poor craftsmanship. They put together a beautiful high end bathroom in 5 days.
Very, very bad sales reps!! I made appointment with this company to get an estimate for a job we need done. He started by insisting that we move our cars into the driveway so that he could put his car in, we suggested that he park on the street but he stated that he did not want to look for parking. Since we wanted the estimate we complied. After looking at the job he than said that he need to get all his material to go into my house to give me the estimate! We were not looking forward to a long dragged out demonstration about the company!! We keep telling him to please just give us the estimate, that when he blurred out a quote, so we said fine just give it to us in writing so we can discuss it later and decide. He started packing his folding and stated that he does not give written estimate, what!!! He was very arrogant, boasting how they were the best and how the best was more money, okay? I am giving one star because thanks to Rory we were able to save a lot of money, time and a big stress headache!!!
They have beautiful products and the installation went great. However a few issues that came up afterwards were not as great. Communication is the biggest issue, second is time. We had windows and sliding door installed and hearing back from them on issues was spotty and the timing to get repairs made took forever. The staff was very friendly and polite. But with the communication it feels like once they have your money you get put on the back burner until it is convenient for them.
BEWARE! Was referred by a friend. Called to discuss and set appointment for over $20k kitchen remodel. Because I already had the cabinets, they wouldnt even entertain the thought of looking at the job. Rude, arrogant and down right insulting. I guess some peoples .... dont stink. So it seems the kickbacks on the cabinets themselves are factored into the costs so they can make there numbers look low,but in reality its fine print nonsense. Glad I didnt get the opportunity to work with an unethical company like this! Stay away!
My basement has been a hot mess for the past six years when I decided I wanted to utilize it for more than storage. Along came Alure and talk about an extreme makeover.I cannot believe the transformation. This is a space that will literally knock your socks off! And now that were decorating it I know I will enjoy it for many years to come. It is truly worthy of a layout in a magazine. The job was done quickly, cleanly and professionally. Instead of saying Move that bus! Im saying Open the door!Magnificent.
Alure worked with me from day one after my family and I were hit by Sandy. Not only did they deal with the insurance company and walk me through everything, but everyone in that company, no matter where I was along in the process in fixing my home went above and beyond in the personal attention given to us. They truly cared and truly wanted to help my famliy and I get back to normal asap. Everyone that came to my house was respectful, curteous and professional. Even with all the little changes I gave them along the way, they never made me feel bad and always made me feel that they were more than happy to do whatever it took to get our family the results we wanted. They did an unbelievable, OUTSTANDING job in remodeling our basement and den! And the icing on the cake was (just to tell you the kind of person that runs this company from the top) owner Sal Fero went out of his way to help secure resources for the remaining money we needed to fix our bulkhead which was NOT being covered by the insurance company. This was something they didnt have to do, but did anyway and we are eternally grateful! Even after their incredible work was done, I was given follow-up phone calls to make sure that I was satisfied with what they had done and if they needed me to come back for anything...which I didnt.... every detail was taken care of! Their customer service and their craftmenship were second to none! I would hire this company again for anything I need and encourage you to do the same!! They fully understood what I needed and wanted...and OVERdelieverd! Big kudos to the team at Alure!!!
Alure renovated our basement -- they did a great job - from the workers on site (Santos and Justino) to the project manager (Frank Stehlik) they were responsive and helpful for any small changes we wanted to make and helped guide the design and permit process perfectly. Kudos!
If youd like to spend an hour and 1/2 just for an estimate thats going to be 10s of thousands of dollars over priced for a 5x8 bathroom this is for you. All the materials for my bathroom were $3k. They wanted to charge me $25k and on top of that get permits which I dont need and take up to 8 days. I got it done for alot less and in 3 days. If they think you have money they will try to take it all. Be careful. Terrible experience, and it was just an estimate! Happened to two other people I know also.
My parents and I used them to remodel their bathroom and they did a terrible job even though the bathroom ended up looking great in the end. They are mostly late the majority of the time when they need to be here on time. They were supposed to be fixing a light today in our bathroom and they never showed up when they were supposed to! They dont even deserve one star. We will never be using their service again!
Had an appointment on a fri @ 1pm. Made this appointment 7 days in advance telling allure that i have to replace a deck and a carport. They said ok no problem be there on fri @1pm. So there i was sitting and waiting on friday at 1235 pm they call me and said at this time we are not best suited to build a deck or carport last minute let down. Why not just wait till 1pm duh! Anyone looking to use this company or fly by nite i would not use them to build me a doghouse!!!!
I would warn people not to use this company. they bully people who write negative reviews including questioning their integrity - accusing them of doing it for the money etc and for what they charge they dont even have an electrician and I was asked to find one myself. also unwilling to move large appliances and felt like haggling just to get them to agree to move a stove.
Very nice stuff. Staff seems too be nice also. The reason for two stars is for outrageous prices. I know you get what you pay for, but that doesnt mean every house is going too get a luxurious, fabulous bathroom. Sometimes you want functionality at a reasonable price.
I had my bathroom completely re-done .The project manager Joe Russo was phenomenal .He was knowledgeable, helpful, accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy.Pablo who did my tile was artistic, careful and meticulous .Both men especially Joe are assets to Alure home improvements.Kudos gentleman for a job well done.

2022-06-09Exceeded expectations, Professionalism, Excellent Communication. That has been our experience with Alure Home Improvements. Our project was complex, utilizing; an Architect, Carpenters, Masons, Stucco Workers, Electricians, Roofing and Siding. Working with Alures vey experienced Design Team we created our Dream Home Renovation. The finished product never deviated from the price quoted. The success of the project can be attributed to Our Project Manager, Frank Stehlik. His Professionalism, Attention to detail, guidance and immediate response to our calls was invaluable. If something wasnt just right, it was corrected to our mutual satisfaction. Franks standards for our job were impeccable and created the Beautiful Finished Project we now have! The Pride Alure takes in their work is evident and Alure will always be our first choice.

2022-06-04Overall Alure had done a decent job. Diane were very helpful that helped us applied for the permits. The overall project management started out on time but as the project moved alone it has seem many more delays when fall comes around. Sometimes the materials were not delivered before the workers showed up. Most of the workers were professional and clean up after their jobs were done. However, some areas of the work was done loosely and feel rush when looking closely. For the price Alure charged I expected a better quality of the job performed.

2022-02-10My husband and I used Alure in 2018. One of the reasons we used them was for the 5 year warranty it came with. I would like to say the kitchen came out beautiful, however, we have had a cabinet issue since day one. We have had an issue with the installer cutting the cabinet to fit the wall oven. He used a reciprocal saw and it damaged the seams of the cabinet. Alure had it painted and touched up instead of a replacement. As we had mentioned to them after use of the oven the paint would Crack, and it did twice. All the seams on the doors and drawers are very visible. I was told thats normal, however I have yet to find any other cabinets with this design. Even my Home Depot basement cabinets do not show seams.I have been waiting for replacement doors to cover the seams on my wall oven cabinet. The doors arrived without the hinges on them. I was told they had to be sent back and the hinges installed. It would be about a month. Its been about 3 months and I cant get any updates. I am told I will get a call back and I dont. It has become very time consuming just getting a 4 year old problem fixed. I have been very patient, especially when COVID was a problem for everyone, however I just feel it is very rude and unprofessional to be ignored. My problem didnt just come up, it was there from the beginning of the install. Still waiting.

2022-06-12Home renovation always causes challenges as family is displaced, routines disrupted, and strangers inhabit one’s personal space for long periods of time. Add the pandemic to the mix and one is faced with long municipal delays, supply shortages, ridiculous escalating costs and lack of qualified contractors.Alure found and repaired a leak in our master bath and then updated the room’s design as part of its restoration. They repaired the cathedral ceilings in our bedroom. Totally renovated our basement turning wasted space into functional living space. The professionals at Alure helped us with the planning, scheduling, ordering materials, completing the work, and navigating a treacherous approval process to obtain the coveted Certificates of Occupancy. Upon completion they returned and completed all open punch list items. In recent months we have heard many horror stories from friends and family trying to complete work on their house. Based on our experience, we recommend homeowners give Alure an opportunity to bid on the work. Greg Griffin and Jason Eichenbaum came through for us.

2021-04-17I recently had my kitchen remodeled with Alure and I am very happy with the result. The entire process was mapped out so I knew what to expect each day and the project manager, Emilio, was in contact with me regularly throughout. All of the guys who worked each part of the job were reliable, courteous and neat. I was very nervous about having such a big job done, but from the design recommendations I received from Billy to the quality of service and work done, it was a smooth process and I am very thankful that I chose Alure.

2022-05-18We recently used Alure in March 2022 to complete our kitchen remodel. From the moment we came in contact with the team at Alure we were met with courtesy, professionalism, and outstanding service. Greg Griffin was our designer and helped us design our kitchen from start to finish. Never made us feel embarrassed about our outdated kitchen and small space, but gave us options to maximize the space we had while making it look modern. When it came to picking out cabinets, countertop, etc. in Alures showroom, Greg was so helpful in bringing our vision to life and quickly understood our taste. Lubo was our project manager who oversaw the project from demo to completion and also was amazing. We were given a calendar of events on the day of demo and knew who was going to be in our home and when. Lubo was so accommodating and even showed up to our home in minutes notice when I felt uncomfortable with removing molding, etc. and stayed with me until the crew left. No company would do that for you. I cant say enough about the entire team from accounting, to the field team who drops by to check in on the project, to the delivery crew who dropped off all of our supplies. Everyone is amazing. I know it can be daunting to pick a construction company but dont think twice about contacting Alure. They are the best we have dealt with, and have had construction done in our home before. We will be calling Alure to remodel our bathroom soon. We felt part of a family and are grateful to the entire team. You definitely get what you pay for with Alure: outstanding service, amazing staff, and a beautiful remodeled space.

2022-01-19From beginning to end the team at Alure was on time, responsive, and professional for my kitchen renovation. Billy from design/sales was very helpful in all aspects of planning, from picking materials to deciding layouts. Lubo our project manager was on top of all of the work from start to finish, going over the work at the end of every day and willing to have tasks re-done if not done correctly. The job finished exactly on schedule, which we were thrilled about. Not to mention we are already very happy with Alures willingness to stay in contact and resolve any issues or questions we had afterwards. We would absolutely pick Alure again for any future jobs.
