Amagansett Library is a welcoming public space in the heart of Amagansett. The staff is extremely friendly and always happy to help and source materials. From the children’s train table to the new teen space to the cozy window seats to the redesigned garden this is a library the entire community can enjoy.

Being relatively new to the area, I immediately desired to immerse myself in the community, I started by joining the Amagansett Free Library. I was overwhelmed by the support, commitment and exemplary service I received from the library staff - a true example of commendable service to the community. The library supported me in researching the local history and geography. The Library has also presented itself as the key and linking cultural destination and center for the community of Amagansett through cross collaboration and events. Its been amazing to see how throughout the pandemic the library has further managed and adapted its programming to serve its ever growing community.

This is a great library. Very welcoming and the staff is always very friendly and ready to help you. Recently we had visitors from overseas and we could hardly keep them away from the place. They enjoyed the atmosphere and love to spend an afternoon at the library quietly reading.

I have only had wonderful experiences at the Amagansett Library. The staff is very helpful and professional. They offer many services besides books, like DVDs CDs Audio books and alternative ways of listening to audiobooks. If they dont have what you need they will get it through the Livebrary service. It is a charming little library with big features!

This place is only open to those people willing to give up their rights and bow to the control freak that runs the place. Library director needs to take some classes on how to be respectful to the public. Some aggression therapy might be helpful as well.

Completely unprofessional, will stalk and harass you for visiting. If you are disabled, DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE! as they actively discriminate against those that are disabled, even more so over the phone..... AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! U HAVE BEEN WARNED!
