Decent movie theater, depending upon which theater you are in. The main, IMAX capable, theater is large and comfy, even with a balcony section you can sit in. However, some of the other theaters are not as nice. They are much smaller (which is understandable) but also much less comfortable. Overall, not bad for a 2 hour movie, but also not my first choice of theaters in the city.
Always a great experience at AMC Lincoln Square. Going against the norm and watching a movie in the early morning is pure bliss. You can avoid the crowds and fully enjoy the movie without distractions while sipping an iced coffee.Todayβs movie of choice was Uncharted featuring Tom Holland & Mark Walburg. It was action packed, fun and exciting throughout. It gave me a modern day Pirates of the Caribbean mixed with National Treasure vibes. The theatre staff this morning were friendly and great!
I had difficulty with the kiosk and a clerk had to ring my ticket for me. Upstairs, one of the slushee machines was out (of course the one closest my movie). The popcorn was sitting there, so it was room temperature. I didnt see the condition of the seats until the lights came up at the end of the movie. The seats (in my aisle) need a cleaning or at the least, a lint rolling. The picture and sound was good, I would return based on that. The bathroom needed basic attention, nothing concerning. The overall appearance of the building was neat and clean. The staff were at best patient, accommodating, and able to multi-task (serving two customers at the same time); at worst sufficient but not overly enthusiastic but courteous.
AMC LINCOLN CENTER. This place is located extremely close to Central Park.Accessible by 1,2 and AC line trains. This place is built up. There are multiple floors for screenings. The premium offerings (IMAX, etc) are located on the most top level.Pros: location, sizeCons: not all theatres have the updated seating.I would recommend for avid movie goer and hope you get the good seats!!
Decent theater as long you dont go to the Dolby Cinema, supposed to have the best image quality but its not. I watched the Dune and the new Batman in Dolby Cinema and the image was not razor sharp, it was soft just like in their regular theaters. The two projectors they use were not aligned properly. So, safe your money and go to a normal screening.
Another old AMC. If your looking for state of the art technology then your in the wrong theater. The chairs are old and mainly the cushioned rocking seats and not the recliners like they have listed on their website. There concession stands like most AMCs were out of stock with a lot of there items and to call the staff friendly would almost be a stretch. The theater appeared clean but I didnt get the feelings there was much sanitizing going on in between shows. For a theater in one of the most fast paced and fashionable trendy cities in the world its just dissapointing. I definitely do not want to go back here and I doubt I ever will. Take it from me if your gonna spend the money go to another theater this one just isnt worth it. Even the sound wasnt that great, I didnt know there were theaters without surround sound so that was an unpleasant surprise. This is a theater you want to use for school trips and nothing more.
What can I say? This is the greatest theater Ive ever been to. The staff is super friendly, the venue is clean, and the IMAX is absolutely worth the price of admission. Its even nice to see a non-IMAX film here too. I have not been to the Dolby Cinema in here so I cannot comment on it.
The screen was not iMax, much smaller almost same size as regular screen. The screen is very very dirty n made movie bad quality. The sound wasnt good! The new glasses with side panels made lenses sweat the whole time. It was too warm in theater. Wasnt a good experience.
I had a good time with my family at AMC Lincoln Square 13 today. Its a nice theater for the whole entire family, or solo.It has 2 floors a total of 9 theaters. They have elevators, and escalators, and easy access for the rest room, and a good variety of snacks to choose from.
I preface this with the fact that Im a Regal Unlimited member. I was glad that the theater was clean and the staff I encountered were efficient. My problem was with the seating. I was in the handicapped area because of my mobility issues I was uncomfortable throughout the movie. Ive gotten accustomed (Regal) to arms in the seating are moveable thereby making it much easier to get out and in the seating. I enjoyed the movie but spent the entire time VERY uncomfortable.
Dolby and IMAX are the only good about this theater. Customer service is a joke. There are no employees in the Box Office area. Its all machines. Looking for assistance and most of the employees are working in the food area since the other areas are understaffed. But clean restrooms and theaters. Soda fountains are still sticky
Wont be coming back here. The cloth seats were all pilled and gross looking, the arm rests seemed like the padding was taken off leaving a full grey plastic piece that looked super dirty. Aside from the cleanliness, the slope of the seating section was not great and peoples heads were blocking the bottom of the screen, not great for a movie with subtitles, and Im 64!!!
The IMAX theater on the top floor was nice and clean. The comfy leather seats vibrated, but didnt recline. Obviously the concessions were overpriced (e.g. $6 for a 1 liter bottle of Dasani water). Also, their first 10am matinee showing of the day started half an hour LATE after previews, with the doors to the building locked until 9:30am, but I cant say if thats a regular pattern since I dont visit often enough.
This movie theatre is a net positive. They are very accessible by train, with twelve theatre rooms and IMAX. But they do not have the comfy signature seats, and if those are important to you you might want to take the train up three stops to the AMC 84th st 6, which has those seats but less theatre rooms.
Went to go see Dr. Stranges Multiverse movie! Upon entering, we were 100% lost and walked in 2 circles. Our auditorium was #13 but we only had seen theaters 1-12. To try our luck, we went downstairs to the higher numbers; they told us to go to the 4th floor. When there, we were greeted by The Sunshine Man whos energy is impecable! He made our trip prior to the movie. Albeit the wrong theater again, his interaction with us was amazing. The actual IMAX experience that we had was phenomenal. The sounds were spectacular, and the visuals were astounding.
The seats were fine and I had a good time watching Dr.Strange and The Multiverse of Madness but the building itself is confusing to navigate, you can only get popcorn and snacks from one particular floor and there werent enough benches or seats outside the theaters.
Terrible experience trying to see The Batman. We had to wait in line for 30 to 40 minutes because they only had one person checking tickets and vaccinations which made everyone late. After we entered, there were people sitting in our seats (they had double sold our tickets). We hopped around trying to find two seats together but every time we found some someone else told us we were in their seats and we had to move. We went to the front counter and told them our problem, to which the manager replied Didnt you try sitting in the front seats? He didnt offer any compensation, and there were 7 or 8 other people in the same situation as us. We ended up having to sit in the very front corner for our three hour movie which made it impossible to get into. Save your money and go to a different theater.
I wrote this while I was on the line at 12:06 am on 3/4/2022.I am currently on the line to watch The Batman on IMAX. We pay a little more than $30 for our seats. The showtime started at 12 am but with previews, itβs set to start at 12:20 so basically it started.I, with many other visitors, missed at least the first 10 minutes of the movie. This is unacceptable.Oh and did I mention that I am on a cane, unable to walk due to knee surgery?I approached the theater staff and I noticed that there was only one person, ONE person checking vaccine information and theater tickets. I informed him about my leg injury and that my leg felt tired from standing in line & I kid you not: he gave me a what do you want me to do it about it attitude. This has not been my normal experience in an AMC Theater but a person like that should not represent your company.
I love this theater. The screen is pretty and they also got IMAX. I was hear earlier for the very first time to watch Avengers Endgame. The associates where very helpful because I had issues with my ticket and one of the associates fixed gave me a pass. This theater is pretty close to the road and can be easily noticed from a vehicle in normal traffic. Thereβs also wheelchair accessible entrance and toilet for the differently able #FamilyFriendly #Cinema #NYC
I love that this movie theater is far enough from traffic in NYC but close enough to 59th street which is a major subway station. The outside and inside structure of this theater is probably one of my favorites in the city, unfortunately this is not true with the actual movie theaters that are digital. The seats are uncomfortable, if you donβt have a balcony option then the design is a standard βhillβ no step ups for rows. They need to update to leather seats with more room and when they do this will be my theater destination always. This theater is known for its movie premieres and many times you can see the starts of the film. Stellaroptics on Instagram.
It is another stylish amc. they named every theatre, such as canal, places..., they display some clothing which it is used in movie. also, they have some interesting mural painting.and they have a lot of ticket vending machine around the lobby, so dont worry about the line wait time.their seats are more comfortable than regular seats, because their seats allow you to recline a little bit. yeah, only a little bit. if you are used to watch movie with reclined seat, it may be a few challenge for you. fortunately, the space between every row is big enough, you can keep your legs straight.the sscreen and the sound effect are not impressive. the auditorium on second floor are better than the auditorium on basement.but they offer a lot of movie show time, if you are A-List member in nyc , you must be here sometime.enjoy the show.
This is the best IMAX screen on the east coast. This was my third time seeing a movie here and its worth the 2 hour drive for me.Everything about it is impressive. The height, the sound and the new laser projection system for a sharper image with more contrast. One of the few theaters left that has a 70mm film projector as well. No recliners but the seats have enough legs room so that youre not kneeing the back of the chair in front of you.Looking forward to my next visit! ποΈπ₯πΏ
My favorite movie theater in NYC! While I know it is often given huge praise for the only real IMAX theater in NYC, I find the IMAX theater to not be be deep enough and much prefer the Dolby digital (which has a balcony!)Old school vibe on some of the theater is quite fun. They have recently eliminated the throwback names in lieu of numbered theaters.Downstairs theaters are typically for independent movies, which Iβm thankful this theater often has a few of.
Love, love , love this movie theater. The restrooms are beautiful and clean. They are huge and rearly ever a line even after the movie ends. I love the theme of this theater and the art work on the walls. My suggestion is not to drive. The parking lots are over priced. Everytime I have choose to drive its been very difficult to find parking on the street. However, public transportation is near by on the 1 train or A,C train to 59th. The area has so many retailers, fast food and restaurants to enjoy before or after your showtime. Central park is also a short walk off. This area in general is great for dates or just a day out.
The only true IMAX screen in the city and it is amazing.Row E/F/G is the sweet spot if you like to consume your field of vision but dont want a sore neck. (E is cutting it close though)Dont worry about not getting a center seat. While its definitely better, its definitely not necessary. I was in seat 37 for DUNE and had a great time.
This theater must have the biggest IMAX screen in all of New York. First time I saw a movie here on IMAX was the Matrix Reloaded. Even though I wasnβt a big fan of the movie itself, the screen was so impressive that I rewatched that same film here multiple times.Iβve come back for many other movies since then: Logan, Deadpool, and Star Wars The Force Awakens were among my favorite movie experiences here. The theater is clean and there are bathrooms both above and below the IMAX theater.
My favorite theater in the city. Themed on the inside to look like youre walking through the Sunset Strip, and each screen is named after a famous theater. The screens themselves are all good quality, and Ive never had an issue with washout since they dont screen 3D films. The iMAX and Dolby options are great. Additionally, the theater is clean and the staff are friendly.
Went in 3/2/22. I know I went to go watch jackass but theres no reason why the theater smelled like one. I dont know what the rest smelled like but I believe theater 12 on the lower level was the one I was in. it smelled like a nasty bathroom. its very gross especially for a well known theater
I love this theater. Its my go-to theater for any IMAX movie because it has One of the original humongous IMAX screens in Manhattan. The other one being, I believe, the museum of natural History at the Rose Kennedy center. And the only other ones I know are in New Rochelle, and Palisades Mall. My point is, if you want to experience a visual mind blast, this is the kind of IMAX screen you want to attend. Especially 3D IMAX! Ill never forget seeing the dark Knight at this theater when it first came out. It was shot using IMAX cameras ,and the scenes of the city were incredible. But I digress. This theater is very fancy and it has an elevator. for the handicap,. A true Cinema showcase with all the posters and movie tapestries hanging everywhere. It is located in the heart of Lincoln center and is easy to get to. They also have a Dolby theater which is a great place to watch a movie if you cant get the right kind of seating at the IMAX. Be warned however that this screen (IMAX)is so huge, that you dont want to get stuck in any of the bottom rows. Youll need a chiropractor if you have to watch a movie that long with your neck stretched back the entire time.
Havent been in this theater since sons were younger( 20yrs )but ! It was worth the wait. Great staff, clean environment. Was there for red carpet event( last Rambo ) plane on returning again. 2dollar water would be better than a 6dollar big bottle of water ? Great place !
Excellent place to see a movie. They have one of two true IMAX theaters in all of Manhattan. This trip though, we decided to book recliner seats to see No Time to Die (latest James Bond movie). The recliner seats are a total game changer. Im note sure I can go back to regular seats again. These are so comfy and spacious (everyone gets room on the arm rests). I highly recommend them.
Wonderful theater with many screens and the vending machines are the ones with the choose your own adventure beverages with a million choices. Also you can refill as much as you want as far as I know (incuding slurpee type beverages)Joining the Loews rewards program can also be a great option for frequent viewers.
This is the best movie house in town! The actual room was intimate with reclining seats. The food and the drinks are awesome at a very affordable price. The place is spacious, clean, modern, and easy to access. The staff is friendly, courteous, and hard-working. The menu is smaller than anticipated but still sufficient. I look forward to visiting again.
The Imax screen here is one of the best! Absolutely massive. However, it was a little frustrating that the snack bar by the Imax closes immediately after the movie started meaning a 2 minute errand to fetch a snack turns into a 20 minute treasure hunt missing much of the movie.Update 3/28/22- still only 4*. When getting concessions, there seem to be an adequate number of cashiers to take your money, then only one person to make all the food. I nipped out of the movie midway to grab a hotdog. The premiere line was long and it took over ten minutes to get something ready cooked.
Its sad I like this place as we speak Im sitting in the theater and I wanted popcorn and drink I was paying with a hundred dollar bill and they gave me the run around on how they couldnt give me change and its funny because the prices are pretty high and so many people here so you mean to tell me you have no change SMH so now I cant enjoy my experience SMH
This theater gets four stars for creativity and ambiance. Opposed to the expected theater number 1, 2, etc, they have names like Majestic, Capital, etc, which gives it a pop. The concession stand sits in the grand lobby and looks quite impressive. If you have been to other AMC theaters, you are a bit taken aback when you enter your particular screening room. They do not have the signature large red leather recliner chairs. They do have the reserved seating which I have grown to love and appreciate. The sound and quality of the movie was great. Unfortunately the seat I was in had a broken armrest, which kept sliding throughout the movie. Still a great theater with awesome ambiance.
Great theater real IMAX screen. Post covid still a great theater kept very clean. If you want reclining seats you just have to make sure you pick the right theater Great IMAX great selection of movies the staff do the best they can even though theyre short staffed but theyre all really nice
Excellent movie theater and experience. Went to see Mid 90s and had an unforgettable time. Entire complex is clean with great atmospheres in the theatres themselves. Screens adequate size, seating comfortable. The staff is very accommodating and helpful while the crowds are quiet, but engaged.Cant wait until the release of Avengers 4 to go back. 34th St. AMC is my favorite theater, but because of the closer proximity and its great qualities, Lincoln Square is a close second. Check it out.
What a wonderful place to see a movie!! The young man at the counter, Chris, was so helpful today. He was enthusiastic and so thorough with each customer. He made sure that my friend and I had hearing devices that worked. I love his professionalism and joy for his job. So hard to find these days. The theaters are clean and comfortable. Everyone should go here and ask for Chris!
They happened to be premiering Men In Black International the day I went. If I had known, I wouldve went to a different theater - there were too many people getting ready for the event so the registers were not properly manned. Im an A-List member and the A-list line was just as long as the regular line and they had like 2 cashiers. I was there for a 5 pm movie. When I got to the front, she said if I didnt have cash I would have to wait until the register that could take cards freed up, so I just paid with cash. I tried to see if the ICEE flavor I wanted was actually frozen or watery and it squirted on my pants. Went to get napkins and ALL the dispensers were empty. I purchase my tickets in advance on the app and it let me know my theater (theater 5) didnt have recliners, which I thought, would be fine. I posted a picture of my view, it was not fine! Also, the rows were very narrow. Im 57 and my knees were almost touching the seat in front of me. The seat wasnt even comfortable. The people in my row who stayed for the credits had to get up so I could get past them and go into the aisle, I couldnt squeeze past them, which was annoying.
This was the second time Ive been to this movie theater n it has been very pleasant each time. I enjoyed the movie, there were no interruptions, only issue was that the subtitles were cut off at the bottom. (Isle of the dog) Otherwise everything ran smoothly n the theater itself is clean. Only thing was that Im use to recliner seats but otherwise its not bad n definitely recommend coming here to watch any movie.
Absolutely Love MAC Lincoln Square. There are plenty of theaters to choose from and a variety of movies. I love how they house both a Dolby theatre as well as an incredible IMAX!! The place is clean and the popcorn is Delish! There are modern Coca Cola free style soda machines and icee ones, too! Both are serve yourself!
They let you preselect your seat/s, but theyre not the newer plush ones, like those found in some other AMC theatres. A rude patron sitting behind me was kicking my seat throughout the entire viewing and she was not a child. I complained to the management afterwards and received a free pass to the next feature of my choice.
This used to be one of the better theatres in the city. Would only come here if you donβt mind having to sit-down-stand-up for the first 20 minutes of the film as people trickle in. The vaccination check, the ticket taking, concessionsβ¦all inadequately staffed. After having experienced this a few times, I stopped going here.
Really good service! The service is always quick and the food is really pretty good. The seats are comfy and the table trays are large to put your food on there. Its so convenient to push a button and a server comes to you to place your order, and they also deliver your order. I love this Place. Im always going back here!
I had the Best time never been to this movie theater.the food for me was not that good.I seen sider-man no way home IMAX i loved it i had so much fun movie was outstanding.also i treated myself and seen sing part 2 also great movie for all ages.staff was very respectful nice i had a great experience at this movie theater i will go back.π the food selection and quality need to be better pizza etc.
A good Dolby cinema experience and clean high class theater. Rather wish AMC other locations like Harlem was similar. Their Dolby cinema is one of the biggest in the city. The best experience would be on the balcony as everything is in view, your not constantly tryna look up at the screen and the sound is just right.
I like this theater, even though it hasnt been remodeled in a while and doesnt have stadium seating, because the staff are friendly, its kept clean and perhaps most importantly, because the patrons know how to behave at a public theater, ie people dont talk at full volume during the movie or indiscriminately check their cellphones. The audiences at this AMC are probably the most respectful in Manhattan.
Usually I would say my experience is fine but a few days ago when we went to watch Venom, we decided to grab some food and drinks. First of all, your regular line/Insider and Stub Premiere/A Lister members are not distinguishable, so everyone ends up standing in the VIP line, whats the point then? Its been like that for months and its annoying for those who expect members service. Additionally, waiting for food took way too long, while we waiting and carefullt watched for our 3 hot dog order to be finished, which took a long time to begin with a manager snuck in spoke with the person preparing them and took one for another customer who JUST ordered, we had to wait another 5-10 minutes for 1 additional hot dog to be made, not the best customer service there.
You would think that since it was closed to public they would have taken the time to do some cleaning and upgrades. I dont know about the other auditoriums but number two had dirty and questionable seats. My seat bent so low I had to roll my coat up and sit on it in order not to slide off. Didnt move because a lot of the other seats were visibly dirty. 3 stars is for the movie not the theater.
This is the best AMC ever!! Iβm part of a movie club and we love this AMC. Itβs centric, close to everything and the overall vibe of the area is just amazing. Iβll leave this review with a picture of our movie club. We are expecting to be back soon πππΌπ
I absolutely love this place! if you need/want a mind blowing IMAX/IMAX 3D experience...this is the most absolute AMC location to visit. for me, its the largest IMAX sceen i have ever viewed a film on. right now, they have an auditorium under construction for Dolby Cinema (cant wait for it to be completed to experience it).the best feature of this & all of AMCs is the reserved seating. & i love the way they name the auditoriums after popular cinemas from yesteryear... they are a bit hard to read due to fading, but if youre like me & are in between films, they are fun facts to read.on a side note, the only annoying aspect of AMCs film membership, their A-List program, is the fact that everytime you vist their cinemas you have to show ID. i mean, i had the Premiere Stubs that came with a yearly fee & then i upgraded to A-List for a monthly fee & i have to walk with my passport for proof. its the same membership number attached to my account, doesnt make sense. but, its great cinema plan. if you dont have it yet, think bout getting it & visit this locale.once again, i absolutely love this place.
This movie theater is clean. Staff and employees are always friendly. This is great movie theater for family, dates and friends however thereβs only one major problem with this theater. The concession stands soft beverages doesnβt taste like the real brand soda, like for example sprite doesnβt taste at all like sprite and Coca Cola doesnβt taste like Coca Cola, the popcorns are tasteless, the hotdog taste quality is extremely poor, nacho chips are stale. My suggestion BRING YOUR OWN SNACKS AND DRINKS. The Wise butter popcorn taste way better than this theater popcorn. I gave this theater a 3 star rating for having very poor beverage and snack taste quality
If youβre keen on watching a movie in IMAX format, you should not look anywhere else, (within the 50 states I mean) because this has got to be the biggest IMAX theater you could possibly be in. Make sure the movie is shot wholly in IMAX format so the entire time the full screen is utilized (Transformers Iβm waving at you!) Also donβt be surprised if youβd be sitting next to costumed Batman during Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice film. Thatβs just how it goes in here. There is also a concession just outside the theater and bathrooms are kept tidy but needs an update. But if I were you, Iβll just grab a bite from a dozen restaurants around the area before watching a movie. The line at concessions will be long. The acoustics is decent but not muted. Parking like anywhere else in manhattan is street parking where available or paid parking basement.
The theater shut off the movie one minute into the credits. No explanation. Many upset viewers in the theater. Completely unacceptable. No staff anywhere to be found after the movie was over to ask what happened. This was my go-to theater in the city since it opened, but after this I will go elsewhere.
So happy the Movies has Returned. ...that is the one place you can attend Alone ...Why they Suggest NO Talking ....I can go to the Movies when I feel like it ..people tend to Cancel when you make plans. ..I learned how to just get up and go and Enjoy Life ....Movies ,Concerts , Supper Clubs.....So Glad the Movies has Returned....I saw the Wife of the Body Guard......Very action packed and Funny too....I hope and Pray the Movies never go out of style...Sitting in Front of the TV ...all the time is Boring via ME
Edit - AMC A List is a total scam, I signed up for it in december, saw one movie, and then after several cancellation attempts they still charged me for a second month (they make it nearly impossible to cancel and you have to do it on a desktop, I was moving during covid so didnt have access to my desktop), then when I FINALLY get through to someone to cancel, they tell me theres a $25 cancellation fee. So yea, $75 for one movie in one of their gross theaters. What a RIPOFF and dishonest policy. The Imax also has uncomfortable seats and a well-known mouse issue. You can hear their squeaks as the movie is playing.
Bought tickets, received confirmation. It was only luck that I saw an email a few days later that they cancelled the showtime. Id already purchased train tickets and reserved a hotel room. Thank god I did a triple check or Id have shown up and been turned away at the door for a non-existent showtime. They offered nothing but Sorry. Meanwhile Im out the cancellation fees for the train.
Two years ago pre-pandemic I gave this theater 5 Stars. That has since been downgraded to 2 stars, hereβs why: AMC had months in fact years to upgrade this theater to modern new seats and they did not. This may seem like a minor issue to some which I understand, however it is so ridiculous to spend over 50$ to sit in a theater and be uncomfortable. UPGRADE!

2022-05-28Went with some friends first and loved the overall style and design of this particular AMC, so I came back with my boyfriend this time. Loved that all the rooms had different themes of movies and places with amazing artwork. The reclining seats are amazing and the IMAX and Dolby experience is phenomenal.

2022-05-09I saw Doctor Strange here in their IMAX theater on the top floor. When entering you see a massive screen, several stories tall. Other than that its not the best viewing experience. You have a few fast food options at the concessions stand and the seats are not the most comfortable, lacking a recliner. But if you want an epic option for big movies this is a good choice.

2021-12-05One of the best theaters in Manhattan for a cinophile. Clean theater with amazing movie artwork and multiple screens (>12), great prices ($12.50 for shows before 5:00 p.m.), great location close to the subway, Central Park and some nice restaurants / desert shops. They also check everyones vaccination status before allowing entry which makes you feel safer. There are three floors in the theater and they all have food counters.

2022-06-05Comfy wide seats but they dont recline like what is in all the videos they play before the show. Older style theater but is very clean and well kept.

2022-05-17I went here to watch Doctor Strange 2 in IMAX. Great location, clean theatre and beautiful interior. The IMAX auditorium is on the 4th floor and bathrooms and concessions are available on the same floor. The screen is HUGE and absolutely breathtaking, the sound is also roaring and perfectly tuned. The seats are big, comfy, and they recline back and forth. The staff was very nice and respectful. I will definitely be back :)4/5 because they charged $7 for fries which had the portion size equivalent to a Mcdonalds small (and they were in a much larger takeout box, made me think they messed up the order).

2022-03-15IMAX is always worth a trip, but the space in front of the seats is tight and hard to get around people. Come early for concessions, too, as the line can ne long. But, its a real theater, grand inside with large incredible movie displays you dont usually find in other theaters.

2022-04-11The biggest IMAX screen in the US, the 6th largest in the world. Find yourself in a nice seat towards the rear center if you can. I was disappointed that I could only see Ambulance, during our stay in New York. Some would argue a 6 story screen would make that movie better, but I felt like the constant motion and moving close up shots made the experience very disorienting, but maybe it was the alcohol!

2022-05-17Clean theater. Each room is set up a little differently with sounds and audio. The best is the IMAX and Dolby sound rooms.

2022-03-12By far my favorite AMC in New York City. Very beautiful on the inside with a lot of details and unique art. Bottom floor is for smaller theaters, first floor is for tickets, second is for Dolby, regular theaters, and concessions, and the top floor is IMAX with concessions. The Dolby and IMAX theaters have very large screens and a ton of seats (dont sit too close!) The seats in the regular theaters are pretty tight with little legroom, and you better hope a tall person doesnt sit in front of you π Celebrities often visit this theater on random occassions, I saw Ryan Reynolds and Liam Neison here! Overall would highly recommend this theater!
