On 5/1/2018 I flew on American Airline Flight 5266 From Charlotte N.C. to Rochester NY. During this flight the Stewardess was servicing coffee to me and the young lady sitting next to me. Because it was instant coffee she brought us two cups of Scolling hot water; (both in cold cups) instead of hot coffee cup containers. When she reach the seats we were sitting in she dropped both cups of hot water right into my lap. The airline was in flight in the air; im strapped in tight so I had very little room to remove the scolling hot water from my pants; which fell in my lap and burned both my inner thighs with 3rd degree burns and permanant scarring. I was so embarrassed because the only thing I could do was take my pants down and pull them down by my ankle for the rest of the flight. I was given a blanket to cover my bottom since I was naked. You think a simple offer of reimbursment of my flight cost or a follow up of my outcome or just a well check from AA would be in order but, NO... Just a simple apology and thats it. and then after that I had to phone the airline the next day to find out where to send the Emergency Department bill to because I was given no information when I left the plane. Although they took my information I had to call the next day to find out where and whom to send my bill to. Poor, Poor, Customer Service....

2019-06-01THE FIRST TIME MY AMERICAN AIRLINES FLIGHT EVER LEFT ON TIME. I’ve had the absolute worst experiences with American Airlines but this flight was my smoothest with them so far, perhaps because it left from a small airport and was a small flight. good experience though, I must say. it was also at a good airport.

2022-05-17Worst experience ever I will never fly with them again on the way to NY my flight was delayed 2 times. This was the worst experience ever. I do not recommend them.

2021-08-03Would have liked to have flight attendants announce stay in your seat until your row ready to empty. Some rushed and filled the aisle...NO social distancing on 3 of 4 flights...only 1 flight did the enforcing. Did not take longer, moved smooth, and the rushers were forced to be considerate. Otherwise excellent.

2021-08-02Totally abysmal. Multiple plane mechanical delays. Misleading confirmations that there would be no problem to make connections. All missed. The very good thing was very nice Service Agents doing all they could with bad AA info. Lots of trust lost with AA. Total refusal to rebook on another airline. Flight time 12 hours later than my scheduled arrival.

2021-02-26I felt very safe and secure, everything was handled professionally, it had been awhile since I traveled and I let the ticket agent and the TSA know this because I was a little afraid and uncomfortable but they assured me and they helped me over my fear especially with covid now so I really appreciate it that. 👍👍 And people stayed their 6 ft distance and very grateful to the pilots for getting me to and from my destinations. And not to leave out the flight attendants I noticed when people had questions or issues or wanted a different accommodation they were more than helpful when it was appropriate..

2021-09-17Most terrible airline company I have delt with very unknowledgeable and I wrote them about my experience and got no responce ..im a frequent flyer and always use united and delta and American is not good at all..will not fly with them again and also had my desighner luggage tag stolen off my suit case flying out of rochester ny Airport and told them and no responce!

2021-07-08Missed connection because of mechanical problems, was stuck at DC Airport, given a flight 8 1/2 hours later and a $12 meal voucher. I want very happy.

2021-02-07Great company which I have been using for many years. They did charge me $300 once on a flight from LA that I got refunded at the end. Overall a company I like to fly with.

2019-08-07The price was high for tickets and then they charge for luggage. Had a layover and had to ride a bus down on the tarmack. They made a last minute change in my schedule, had to rush me like crazy to get to plane all most missed it. Then some guy ran into my leg with his suitcase and left me with a large hematoma on my ankle, and he never even said he was sorry. I am not a young lady any more so it takes me a bit longer to recoup, so I am still healing from that ordeal. That is the reason I was not happy with my trip.
