We had a great experience at American Freight Furniture. Steven went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and look up product inventory for us. He was knowledgeable and personable. My girlfriend and I needed to furnish our new place and our first stop was American freight and we’re so grateful we went because it was our first & only stop ! We found everything we needed and wanted right there!Within our price range as well as an awesome discount and experience...Steven was the best ! He was so helpful kind personable &professional the entire time! Answered every single question we had! Great with our son! He was soooo patient with us too, we swapped out several pieces for another and he was more than happy to do it as well as answer more questions about those pieces!! We got an entire bed set couch table swivel chair and it was all for a better price than wal Mart!!! Plus the discount !! And 5 year warranty!! Today we were expecting it to be very chaotic and it was the complete opposite and painless!it honestly felt like we were being waited on and pampered.... lolThank you Steven and American freight for such a wonderful experience shopping for furniture we WILL BE BACK SOON!Chris & RuthiePs. if we could give more than5 stars we would!
I had an awesome experience with Steven and Jeff. They were patient and answered my million questions without aggravation. What I liked the most is they were able to give alternatives for things not available and the alternative I liked the most. . I was literally able to get furniture for my whole house for under 3400 bucks. I will definitely shop with them again. I can never thank them enough for their help.
Recently went in to purchase a new bed frame and box-spring, the staff there made it really fast and did an amazing job of breaking down step by step how all the finances were spread out, and it genuinely felt like they wanted to make sure I got the best deal possible for what I needed, no obnoxious upselling no hassle, just a great shopping experience and Id recommend it anytime. Special thanks to Cle and Steve for helping me out that day, they were amazing!
My wife and I were setting up our son in an apartment for school. Since we were from out of state, my wife did some research online prior to traveling to Syracuse. We checked out a few places but returned to AFF&M quickly realizing they had everything we needed at a reasonable price. The items were in stock and delivery met our schedule. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The products we ordered required assembly and it was fairly easy and the quality of the products looked good. Some of the hardware for the headboard had issues, but it was resolved without question. I was actually heading to hardware store but stopped at AFF&M first and was very grateful they provided everything needed to complete the assembly.
My sons and I stopped to find beds for their first apartment. So you can understandably get not wanting to spend alot of money. Since we already are alittle over. But Andy and kyle were great. After knowing exactly what was wanted and price range, they did their magic.
I purchased a sectional and due to no fault of the store I was unable to get it for a month. The manager Steve went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. When I came in to pick out a different set Josh was very helpful and he made sure I was satisfied. Thanks guys.
I recommend this store to anyone who is looking for any type of furniture for their home or apartment. After a very long day of work I had to order a bed for my son who is moving into his own apartment I didn’t have a lot of patience didn’t have a lot of money didn’t have a lot of time and Steven‘s voice and his demeanor was so right word so doesn’t sound salacious helpful. He even research his stock show me something in my price point did all the contracts made it work he made a process that I thought was going to take forever take minutes he is fabulous.
This place is a huge joke. Yes the prices is better than places I have found but I dont think its worth the trouble. The manager talks me and my boyfriend right into a new bed and bedroom set. Told us hed throw in a night stand. We get home to see we were charged full price. Went the next day he wasnt in so didnt get the discount. Took an hour and half to get our stuff since nothing was ready. Then told we need to find a new mattress ours is damaged so very upset we chose a new one and they decide to give us original one but will give us free mattress protector and mattress just has a small stain on bottom from warehouse. The delivery guys also waiting to get their stuff tells us up front that the products are damaged here. Needless to say they took nothing off our bill and manager twice is supposed to discount nightstand but hasnt. The whole place is a joke. They all sit outside and no one exchanges any info and very unorganized. Never again
We bought furniture from here part of it was delivered on Saturday minus the recliner I called over to the store and was told that it was damaged they would deliver one on Monday never happened called Tueday they said it was the wrong one that came in they would send someone over to the Cicero store to get one it would be here by Wednesday never happened I called Friday and was told that I would have to pay for another delivery then was hung up on over the past 4 to 5 years we have spent close to 4 - 5 thousand dollars and to be.treated the way I was I will never buy another piece of furniture from them stay clear from the liars.
The staff were very enthusiastic and helpful! Its always a pleasant experience shopping there. I was very indecisive at first but the staff were very patient, did not rush me, and helped me ce to a decision with their input and honesty. Im very happy with the quality and price of my furniture. There were some stock and shipping issues that came up, but the assistant manager Juan took care of the problems himself. He handled it very swiftly and kindly. I didnt think I would shop there again but Ill probably be back in the future. Thanks guys!
I had such a positive experience working with Shelby, Clay, Jay and the the whole team from American Freight. Not only were they very personable, but they made sure the products that I wanted came in on time. I absolutely love my new bedroom set! The prices are unbelievable.
I went in looking for a reasonably priced sofa and I was greeted by a very nice gentleman who was very eager to help me find what I was looking for... I had the pleasure of completing my sale with the regional manager who was very very very sweet and helpful. I will 100% return to the store for any further Furniture needs I may have. It was truly overall a great experience and I just want to say thank you very much to the staff for helping accommodate my needs!!!
Bought kitchen and living room sets on 1/31/16. Had awesome experience there. Greeted and helped mostly by Juan but did have some positive interactions with some I do not know their names. They put up with my quirky, indecisive and weird ways. Offered assistance, offered product services, and would enthusiastically check on items I would inquire about. Helped me put some furniture items together which led to me purchasing more, they helped me set up delivery, they took care of almost everything and now all I have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the furniture. Also, their shippers were just as enthusiastic! Hardworking and fast!! Pleasant experience overall! Thanks again you guys!!
BE VERY AWARE OF THIS PLACE. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!! IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD!!!!!!!!!!!!!Purchased a couch. They were very nice in the store however turned out the salesmen put the wrong phone number in when it was told to him several times. I did not realize the number was wrong on the bill till the next day after waiting for the delivery. I called and they said it will be delivered after 8pm. Then recieved a call from them it would be delivered in 45 minutes, ( that call was around 5pm). When no one showed up I called back and they said the truck broke down so will be after 8pm like they told me. They delivered the couch with an SUV. Noticed a leg was missing and mentioned it. The gentleman said nothing because I saw it latched together. Once latched together it obviously should have another leg. Called the store and they said we received the floor model and there was no leg there.I called back to speak with the manager and was the same guy that sold us the couch a d delivered it. He went on to tell me it was a sale item and said it was on the price tag. I told him it was not on the tag. He went on to say it is fourth of July sale a d once again I told him there was no sale on it, I paid full price. After all said and done. They have done nothing about it. He claims he tried to find a leg for it but he would have to order it. After buying warranty and all there fees couch was a little over $800.00 and then charged $70.00 for delivery fee. (Stupid me gave him 10.00 tip for delivery) so when all done almost 900.00 to have a couch with a missing leg.Very disappointed on how they handled this and did not offer to fix the problem.We were never told it would be the floor model we would recieve and pay full price. Never had a sale as in tag on it as they tried to claim then change to a fourth of July sale.They got there money and that is all they cared about.Will never purchase from this store again.
I purchased a Sectional Couch,they didnt have the color I expect, but the color I did get was even nicer than the color I was normally suppose too receive. Friendly, customer-oriented personnel. The staff helped us pick the right mattress for our budget. The customer experience was simple and easy. There was an issue with the mattress in stock of the variety that we had ordered. However, the staff were very helpful and willing to upgrade our purchase at no cost to us. Overall everyone was helpful and allowed us to choose an affordable mattress set.
I called about a piece of furniture to see if they had in stock. Was told yes they have it. Drove 40 minutes to get to location only to find out, they dont have it. Extremely disappointed! If they had a substitute then that would have been okay but nothing so I wasted time and gas to come home empty.
The store has a ok selection and affordable prices. However, sales associates are only friendly and care when they are making the sale. They missed really good information. The delivery fee you pay only in cash. They do not do assembling of the furniture and this information was never mentioned while at the store. I bought a bedroom set and it is pretty but it was tedious to assemble. The instructions are horrible to follow and it was missing parts. If you can afford going somewhere else, please do so before buying from these people.
About a month I wrote an extremely bad review, which you can read below. To recap, I was extremely upset about a warranty on my couch I had purchased or so I thought and when I went to use it, it wasnt there.. Thank god for edit, because I am amending my review. Joel , VP of sales called yesterday and started by apologizing for the delayed response, they try to check the reviews weekly. Joel wanting to make this situation right gave us a credit and replaced our couch, with a better one. My husband and I worked with Grace and Dequan and to be honest a much better experience than the first time and we really appreciate it. I thought maybe it would be awkward because of my review and it wasnt at all. The whole staff that there was really great! They did go above and beyond with the customer service this time. Joel and Grace, I just want to say thank you so much for making this right, it is employees like you that help make a business successful. We will be back and we will recommend you to our friends and family.I have had nothing but issues with this store. When we first bought our furniture it was several hundred dollars more than it was advertised on their website. When we said something, we were told that our furniture came an extended warranty in case of rips and tears. When our furniture was delivered the couch was wrong and tables were all dinged and banged up. It took them over a month to deliver the replacements. I just called because I could not find my warranty on the couch and and according to the manager, I dont have an extended warranty and he does not know why the sales person would tell us that the price was higher because it included an extended warranty and that there is nothing he can do. You get what you pay for. You will pay a little more from another company, but at least the extra warranty you pay for is there when you need it. I will never buy anything from this company ever again and I will never give them anything but a bad review everytime!
This place is NOTHING short of a nightmare. Broken furniture unprofessional employees (management). Then their finance company charges an ungodly three digit interest rate on furniture that is delivered on a different day than what was scheduled and 4 out of the 6 sectional pieces are BROKEN. The original purchase was done the first week of November made all my payments with the finance company but still there is no resolution for the broken furniture and its now January. My son was injured by a nail sticking out the back of one of the pieces & at a loss of what to do or how to have it replaced or removed. The store manager assured us that if we went through the finance company we would not have to make a payment until we received our furniture that was also false. The store and the finance company expect me to keep my end of the contract, but they have not kept up their end of the contract. Whenever I call the store there is no answer, and they do NOT return calls even when I do leave a message. I have tried through Grace in the corporate office and she too is unwilling to resolve this issue. I am not sure if they think because they have a day off our furniture isnt broken. We missed three of the familys holidays because this furniture is unsafe and I am not going to ask my family to sit on the floor. There is a reason why they say ALL sales are final and this is it....... so if u think u might want to consider American Freight or American First Financing do yourself & your family a favor and RUN.
Worst place to buy any furniture. My daughter bought couple dressers. One was damaged. Returned the damaged dresser got another one with the same defect. Asked for her money back manager would not returned her money. Very unprofessional. Very cheap furniture not worth the price. Never again. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We had bought a king pillow top mattress and two twin mattresses about a year and a half ago and the mattresses have dips in it. The quality of the mattresses seem great when you go look at them but they do not last long at all. I called today to see if they would help us with getting a new one or if we had a warranty and the women I talked to was vary rude and asked me all the questions about my account that she should have already known just looking at her computer. She was completely clueless. I will never buy a mattress from them again
We had a fabulous experience here yesterday. Daquan was extremely helpful, and we got a great deal on a queen bed, split box springs, frame, and delivery. The bed was delivered on time today, and they did call and let us know a half hour before they were coming. The only reason theyre getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the salesman we worked with before Daquan gave us some wrong information.......So, when in doubt, make sure your salesperson checks with a manager before finalizing your deal. But we are VERY happy.
Meh, it could be better. I walk in to buy a bedroom suite. The prices are really good, but the quality is not as good. This is not an issue if youre single, but children can wreck furniture of the best quality. I wanted to place the suite on layaway, which was okay, but, big but. I must visit the store to make payments. No way, if I can pay all of my bills without writing a check by hand, or using a postage stamp, I should be able to make these payments the same way. A rival furniture store will let me use online banking to pay for my suite, and the furniture is of much better quality. Generally, I did receive decent service when I walked in the store.Update: After a much more expensive furniture store had too many technical problems with its web site, Ill head back. I wont need lay-away, Ill pay up front for all. Ill update the review to 3 stars.Ha! American Freight had the last laugh. I returned to buy a bed room set--no law away needed. The prices for all are very reasonable. The quality? Well, there is quality, but the standards were not too high. The furniture is very basic. This is fine for a single male, or a couple with no children. Delivery was 2 days later than expected. Ron could have been more realistic about the delivery date, but he chose to set my expectations higher. None of the pieces were delivered on the day Ron gave me, so I canceled my plans to stay at home for no reason. The same evening ( @ 8 PM), Juan told me that the furniture would be delivered the next day, Saturday. All was delivered (delivery fee paid), except one piece, which was delivered on a Sunday (no charge). The set didnt show damage, and the delivery guys (independent contractors) were superb. Overall, the furniture is not fancy, just basic, it works. Back to 2 stars due to the incorrect delivery date I was given. I like to be outdoors when the weather is agreeable, but I had to stay home. If I need furniture in the future, I will consider American Freight again.
I work for a local non profit agency here in Syracuse; lately weve been using American Freight for several different families in several different program areas. The staff has been incredibly helpful in several ways. They are always available when needed, and they are willing to go out of their way to make our purchases and deliveries as easy as possible (not only for the families, but myself as well). Highly recommended!

When my husband and I went to pick out our furniture set for our new house we were so excited. Commercial was showing all these beautiful couch sets in the 7 piece bedroom set. We go in. We ask for the deal. We were shown the most ugly couch set and to top it off it was apparently the only couch that went with the deal. I was hesitant but got it. Now the color was disgusting burnt orange. We asked if there will be colors to pick from. Yup. We got the shipment after a little over a month of waiting and waiting(and getting super angry because they told us it would take two weeks) went in to pick their several colors There was only tan and grey. Neither will match anything in my house. Im calling today to see if we can get it in black or brown orrrrr Im getting my money back and going somewhere else that will have my items in stock that day. Ridiculous. Only positive thing is that the staff is really nice!
Chris was very helpful, but the inner workings of this business are terrible. The mattress that I almost bought was dirty from sitting in the back room. Chris said to come back tomorrow for another one. I came back the next day and another bed was not there. He tried to give me a cheaper lower quality mattress when I had already paid for another one that was more expensive. I got my refund, but don’t buy furniture here. Save yourself the headache.
Was a little reluctant after reading some reviews about late delivery but I was very pleased! Daquan was soo friendly and honest. I got the full house of furniture for $1000, which ended up being $1400 since I upgraded the bed and the couch. They even did a free upgrade for the dresser set since they werent able to get the basic one in stock in time for my delivery. I asked for a specific time and date for delivery and they called 20 minutes in advance and arrived on time. Everything came in perfect condition and furniture was very easy to put together. Dresser also comes fully assembled, aside from the handles so that was very nice. Definitely recommend!

My second time in here . Has been a good experience so far, love the headboard I got, beautiful and seems to be very sturdy. and the manager, Nathan , gave me a great deal on it. Also have got 3 lamps here that I love and havent found anywhere else. Overall, has been a good experience. Khaleeb is a good one to see also.
My partner and I went into the Erie Boulevard East location in Syracuse, New York. Nylaiza was extremely helpful in assisting us in choosing the furniture that suited our ideals. She also talked us through the process of setting up financing. My only criticism of the company, as a whole, is the delivery people don’t assist in setting up the furniture. That limits people with disabilities from buying from there, as they may need the assistance to assemble the furniture.
DO NOT GO TO THIS AMERICAN FREIGHT ! If i could give a 0 I would, this place is totally rude and unprofessional. This is now my second time buying from This American freight , where they made a mistake on their part. The first time, they said I would get same day delivery(I paid the price for same day delivery) and, they delayed my furniture for reasons they couldnt give and tried giving lamps as a kind gesture. Everyone makes mistakes so i presumed buying from them again wouldnt result in an issue. I bought furniture which rounded to about $790.00 , they said I would wait a week to get all my furniture and the delivery fee would be $69.00. I WAITED MORE THAN A WEEK FOR THEM TO TELL ME MY DELIVERY FEE WAS NOW $89.00, I spoke to the supervisor Grace ( who says shes the supervisor of all American freight stores in New york) she was rude and, unprofessional, she talked over me, refused to provide me with her supervisor and placed me back on the phone with the sales associate who was inexperienced in the first place. How are you the supervisor of all American freight stores in New York and while Im making a complaint, you speak over me , refused to answer my question on who is now responsible for the incorrect information I was given and then put me on the phone with someone who is in a inferior position to you??!! I then called the American freight in Binghamton to get the Customer service number in Headquarters and she gave me the number to a fried chicken joint. These American freights are ridiculous , I refuse to ever buy from them again and I will advice everyone and anyone to NEVER BUY FROM ANY AMERICAN FREIGHTS EVER! Some one needs to shut this place down in Syracuse!!
Nathan at American freight on Erie Blvd has been extremely helpful and professional. I have been shopping at American freight for years and honestly I havent thought of shopping anywhere else for furniture. If you need anything I will say, please ask for Nathan. He is amazing! American Freight Furniture and Mattress is a very crowded business. They had so much furniture shoved in their building that it made it hard to move around in. Their prices are very reasonable and almost made us buy something even though we were just browsing. The staff that we talked to seem to be helpful and courteous.
Jaime and Daquan have both been extremely helpful and made my purchases seamless. The store offers an excellent selection at low prices and amazing service! I have been shopping here for our business for over 5 years and plan to continue to give them our business for years to come!
I stopped in and walked right out. The store looks like they sell second hand furniture. The building looks run down dusty and dirty. You cant sit on anything because all the furniture is jammed tight together. The music they play is inappropriate. Stay away from this store if you are looking for quality. Salvation army is across the street you might find better stuff and better service there. There are many other furniture options all up Erie Blvd. The so called District Manager is very rude and disrespectful with customers that were only concerned with where their furniture was after almost 2 months of waiting. SHOP THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Was very reluctant when my daughter suggest we go there and pick out furniture. The salesman was eager to make the sale of over $2,000. Promising her that the merchandise was available upon her layaway payoff. When it came time for the furniture to be delivered no one informed her that the furniture wasnt available. We had already bought blinds and decoration to match the furniture. The manager suggested that we chose something else!! I was pissed!! How dare you act like its nothing when she worked her behind off to pay that amount in a short time. So to compensate her for the inconveniences you give her a free Nite stand and a lamp, hints she paid for the lamp. No excuses this was a clearly a lack of communication on their behalf. Expect ppl to leave a negative review for poor service.
This is officially the worst customer service I have ever experienced! What is going on with your Syracuse, NY location? It is run by unorganized, unprofessional, inconsiderate people. My horrible experience started on July 4th when I went to the store as I have just moved to the area the day prior.I was greeted by Tyrone who was the only one with decent customer service skills. We looked around and selected a sofa sectional, recliner chair, and a queen size mattress with bed frame. I was promised that my selections were available and able to be delivered and assembled same day for $135.After an hour going back and forth with what they originally said, it was determined that not all the items were at the location.We agreed to have everything scheduled and assembled a day during a the week for the same price. The only difference is that I would pay the delivery contractors their amount ($75) and the remaining amount ($60) to the employees that will come assemble it.Today finally came and I was looking forward to have my new furniture installed, sadly that did not happen. I was harassed throughout the day with phone calls.The employees tried to hustle me several times to pay more for the assemble costs. After I had explained myself for the fourth time, Tyrone called to apologize. Then only 30 minutes after the apology the other employee called me again to argue about paying more for assembly. After the unprofessional and argumental tone in his voice, he confirmed a 8pm visit to assemble the bed.It was 8:45pm and still a no show. I called and the same unprofessional guy stated theyll on their way. It is currently 11pm and they are obviously not coming.Just to recap: I have experienced un professionalism, argumental and disrespectful tone of voices, lies, and having a company waste my time by having me wait and not even bother showing up.Im expecting a sincere and PROFESSIONAL apology from the employees at the Syracuse location and from the Corporate office. I am also expecting my bed frame assemble free of charge. Mind you one of the 50 calls I received today was to say that they didnt have the correct railings however theyll put in temporarily ones until the others arrive.This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever witnessed and Im passionate about speaking out about this to different chains up including the proper authorities if these issues are not resolved within the next 24 hours.
I bought furniture from here on Saturday and had it arranged to be delivered the next day! Here it is Wednesday night and still no furniture has been delivered! I have been assured every single day that my furniture would be coming between 2-8 every day since and here I am still waiting for furniture that should have been delivered by now!
Absolutely amazing people! I will be the first to admit that I am a very demanding person and im not an easy customer. The manager, Nate, was very accommodating. I started off with a box spring from them for christmas from my mom. Unfortunately it broke down on us. Angry, I called american freight and was waiting for the usual its out of warranty or sorry we cant help you that most stores give you. Instead, I ended up getting a new bed to replace the one I had and Nate stayed past his shift to help me pick one out. It even came way faster than expected! On top of that, he found all kinds of ways to help me and save me money; and, after the delivery men forgot my mattress pad, he personally came and brought it to me so I didnt have to go back. Now thats real customer service! If you are ever looking for a new bed or furniture, please visit American Freight. Furniture is an expensive thing to buy, buy it from someone who cares about you even after you hand them the money and walk out the door.
Was helped by Juan on 9-16 over the phone to manage my layaway account. He was such a nice, friendly and caring individual. The next day, I brought my daughter there so she could find a livingroom set and wouldnt you know it, Juan was there. He helped my daughter find the pefect livingroom set and was very patient with her because she is VERY picky.
The one girl I talked to was really nice but the men are horrible at customer service the one guy was talking so low you can barely hear him he sounded like biggie smalls with slurred speech, definitely not business appropriate.. They love to take your money but hate to help you if you have a problem afterwards and on top of that they give you an attitude..
If you like throw away furniture that will last only a few years, then this is your place. I had a bedroom set I bought, and not only a few years later the veneer is coming apart, finish has worn off, and the bed has broken beyond repair. Save yourself grief, spend a little more and go somewhere more reputable.
Today at American freight I was the first person in the door wanted to purchase a whole house of furniture and one guy was taking care of me and another customer came in he stopped taking care of me and helped the customer he finished with customer I waited patiently proceed to take care of another customer seen me waiting patiently finished with that customer and told me he was busy and tied up he sorry then when I asked for things we dont have them we can upgrade your family package never happened and I been buy from this companyfor years straight cash for my things no layaways
This place has good prices, but most of their stock is in storage containers in the parking lot. We couldnt try sitting on a couch we wanted because it was behind so much other furniture in the storage container. The interior of the store is filthy and Id be afraid to get bed bugs even with new furniture. Dont waste your time here.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.I got a living room set of leather couches, when they arrived they looked like they were dropped down the stairs they were so scratched and torn. I sent in pictures and complained, they offered to replace them Tuesday. It is now Thursday and they still havent arrived along with three tables I also ordered that was late getting into the store.I have called the place asking if they can even give me a time frame of when the couches would arrive because Im quite busy and need me or someone else to be home. The person who answered the phone was rude and told me that I had to wait and that they were fixing my problem by me waiting. When I got mad and demanded to know when they would come, or even a time frame and explained how I might not be home, the person hung up on me.Rude, disrespectful, and VERY slow.Youre customer service needs an update!
Absolutely terrible customer service , minuscule on the level of education they have on their own merchandise , had nothing in stock , messed my order up at least 3 separate times , never gave me all of my fruntiture and never gave me MY FULL REFUND AMOUNT BACK.. scammers and could care less about the customers satisfaction.. this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a furniture comapany would strongly suggest not to come here ever , and this isn’t out of anger this is to publicly let people know it’s not worth your time or money to go there
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! My bed frame set came disproportionate, queen size bed always fell through. Ordered a couch and it didn’t look anything like the pictures AND it came ripped, and I had to replace it. You may be paying a cheap price but you are getting what you pay for. cheap price = CHEAP FURNITURE. I rather pick up furniture from the side of the street or salavation army before EVER buying from here again. Please do not waste your money. My sleeping life has been a living hell, will save up and buy from a legit furniture store next time.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Complete scammers and difficult to deal with if something gets damaged in delivery. One item was damaged in delivery and they refused to take it back at first. Another item I finally cancelled after a month of them not having it in stock when they said it would take less than a week.If you call and ask for a manager, they will always say speaking no matter who answers. Regional manager will dodge calls and refuse to call back. No communication between staff. Absolutely horrible customer service.
This is officially the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Your Syracuse, NY location is horrible and is ran by unorganized, unprofessional, inconsiderate people. The furniture is over priced and the quality sucks. Will not purchase from there again nor will i refer.
My mom & I bought a table for my grandmother/ her mom. They told me that I couldnt take the floor model because it was already sold, and that they would bring it from their other store in the state. Needless to say its been 3 almost 4 weeks since I went in and ordered it for her and its still not in. Theyre really unorganized there and overcharge for half of there stuff!
I bought a table and chairs after paying for it they tell me the table is broken that I can get something else I chose to wait for a replacement two and a half weeks later the replacement comes in I get the table home in the glass on that is also broken so I go to try to trade it for a cheaper table to tell me the difference has to be a store credit so I told them never mind refund the whole amount is that okay will gladly do that they do all the paperwork then they tell me I received the check in and week and a half in the mail I didnt make them wait when I gave him the money and I waited for 2 and 1/2 weeks worth of crack product which I never actually got so why should I have to wait a week and a half of the check very bad customer service policy they lost a good customer I would have bought other things from them no doubt but now I know thats how theyre going to treat their customers theyve lost me forever
DO NOT GO HERE. Their team delivered me broken furniture and damaged my white walls by getting them filthy with dirt and then chipping the corner of the dry wall. When I told them about the damage they gave me the run around and didn’t do anything to fix it. Most unprofessional place I’ve ever been to
Made an order supposed to get it next day and nothing. Someone called me saying something was still missing was waited for a call to hear about my stuff and nothing. Called the store located in Erie Blvd in Syracuse personnel was rude she hanged up the phone and then called back and nobody helped. Worst place wouldnt recommend to anybody.

2022-03-10We went to both Clay and the Syracuse locations and both salesmen we dealt with were amazing. Joseph from the Clay store was very knowledgeable about the living room set we were looking at. He even got us a brand new in the box set out of Syracuse because he didnt want us to get the floor model and not be 100% happy with the way it looked even though we purchased the warranty. When we went back to the Syracuse location for a second time to pick up the furniture the guy sent someone out to help us load it up and he was really nice and made sure we were secured for our long hour and a half drive home. Thanks again for all your help and we will be making many more purchases from American Freight in the future!!

2022-06-17Bought a mattress that likely was wet. Mold growth in the mattress. I bought the same mattress at another AF in Kentucky with more use and is not as worn as the one from Syracuse, and definitely no mold. Don’t trust this store!!
