I was really great for the kids. Theyre able to play in the arcade area while we waited for a lane which wasnt long 20 minutes or less. It happened to be a very busy weekend day and they still accommodated us quickly. They put the bumpers up and I had a device to roll the ball down an incline so every time the toddlers went up to the Lane they were able to knock pins down. They even served good food and it was quite entertaining.
They cant put fans on and it is an uncomfortable experience bowling here. I would give half a star if i could.I used to like this place but after tonight I cant believe how it changed. Had a terrible experience with some people especially with the supposed general manager Sharon
My husband and I have bowled here, both in leagues and recreationally, for nearly 10 years. The lanes are consistently maintained and this is the only location that we have never had any issues with the equipment breaking down. The staff is always pleasant, cheerful, and beyond accommodating and we have grown to love them like family. Sharon is a world class manager who is dedicated to running this facility smoothly and efficiently.I am not one to write Google reviews but felt the need to do so after reading the reviews and saw that the last one was completely baseless. It is quite atrocious for a patron to take the time to fabricate a situation and portray that reflection on someone’s career and livelihood. As a matter of fact, my husband bowled the same night as this “uncomfortable fan situation”. It was 30 degrees outside with high winds and the wind chill making it feel like 20 degrees. The temperature inside was very comfortable as I was neither hot nor cold. For someone to throw a “mantrum” because they didn’t get their way is beyond ridiculous. Everyone else was comfortable, I heard no complaints.It is not fair that someone uses Google as a platform for defamation and corporate can contact me for any additional information. #LoveAMFbabylon
The arcade games mostly do not work. Some of them have out of order signs the others you put your card in it takes your money and the game doesnt work. When you approach the store manager they act like youre trying to steal from them unfriendly unprofessional making children feel like they did something wrong because their games dont work and when they realize they do not work they put it on the kids to make sure they do not play the game again not in a pleasant way. It is very expensive the food is expensive. No CO2 for soda so your choice is watered down fruit punch or watered down lemonade. Unfriendly and uncaring staff
I usually try not to leave a bad review. But in the past 5 visits Ive been on 6 lanes that were absolutely horribly dry. I joined a league here and the lanes were horribly dry. ON LEAGUE NIGHT. This is completely unacceptable.

Celebrated my birthday bowling here with my family. It was a great time couple of drinks, mine was a makers mark and coke easy in get your shoes, go to your lane, clean bathrooms. I will be coming back to bowl and eat. Excellent customer service.

They recently renovated the whole place. Its real nice, clean, they have plenty of lanes. The food is ok, all typical bar food. We had a 20 ppl party while back, they charge per head 30 bucks. Unlimited bowling for that time. That was worth it and that food was good. The only bad thing...the parking spots are really thin, i hate parking my truck too close to other cars. Ppl are inconsiderate.
Used a groupon offer and well worth the money. Have been to other AMF alleys that were more updated in terms of comfortable seating areas for each lane, bigger selection of food, bumpers for individual players and huge arcades. The place was very clean and the employees were super helpful in getting us set up. If I had to pay full price, which was a difference of $120, I wouldve went to a more updated alley.
A lot of lanes but I didnt feel as though there were enough balls to support the number of lanes. Noticed a lot of people brought their own balls.

We had our grand daughters 9th birthday party and everyone had a great time.The staff was attentive and very friendly.
We went to AMF Babylon Lanes roughly around 8 pm Friday night. When we arrived we were rudely greeted by “Nick.” Nick is the entire reason for this low review. His behavior throughout the night was nothing less than unacceptable.Upon greeting us; Nick took a deep breath and whispered to himself, not low enough obviously “here we go again.” Proceeded to give us an attitude because it was our first time at this location and we were not familiar with the procedure.(For context we had a party of 6)I ordered 6 water bottles, a small drink, and an order of specialty fries. The drinks arrived within ten minutes. The fries took 3 visits to the front desk and a half to arrive to our dirty table. The table was never cleaned from the party prior and with the pandemic in consideration, this lack of cleanliness is absolutely unacceptable.The rest of the night was cluttered with micro aggressions from Nick. He threw our food out in front of us and screamed while doing so, because he “couldn’t locate us.”The rest of the staff was pleasant, including the kid behind the actual snack counter. Bowling in general was an excellent experience.However, with Nicks horrible customer service skills in consideration, it will likely be a LONG time before returning to this location.

Went to a fundraiser. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. Food was great. They have a lounge for adults. I recommend the soft pretzels.

Well-run bowling center with professional and courteous staff. My daughter and I have bowled a few times and we are pleased with the service and experiences. Staff know the food and beverage order when my daughter and I come bowling.
Went bowling here with a group of friends and had a ball. Staff was very friendly. Love the Tuesday Drink & Food special. The tacos were really good, just wish they were a little bigger.

Disappointing to say the least. No waitress service. Too many lane breakdowns. For a company that just got a huge influx of cash, you might want to invest in lane maintenance. Soda prices way overpriced . A 16 oz Pepsi for $4.25 is pure price gouging. I would never bowl in a league there. I give it 1 star only for the Snack bar person who was friendly , otherwise id give it less.
Expensive food.Lane approaches always have dust/dirt present.Wait ten minutes with your hands under the faucet with cold water running Until the warm/hot water arrives.Previous complaints were ignored by manager.(Good Pro Shop operator.)Bolero AMF locations want you to drink, eat, and play arcade games; dont care about bowlers.
This is my familys go-to bowling alley. The staff is friendly and we can always get a lane. The food is pretty decent too.
Would not let my family bowl at the end lanes so we werent in the middle of a crowed. Said for league but the league bowlers were on the other side. I dont think the lady wanted to clean the table at he end which we didnt eat anyway. Wont go back pretty expensive compared to Farmingdale and other

It could give 0 stars I would. Came in and started bowling, asked 4 times for a waitress and kept being told she would be on her way. After we already bowled 2 games a waitress finally comes over and takes our orders. Another 45 minutes for us to get chicken tenders and drinks. Our game shut off on us before we could even get to our food, and we couldn’t even finish our game. Their excuse was “we have a party”, if you know you’ll have a party, why not bring in an extra waitress on that day? No way the party just randomly walked in day of.Absolutely terrible service. Highly disappointed.

Love the pro shop here. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Lanes are very clean and follow social distancing rules. Good and drinks are also very affordable and tasty

It was a terrible time, I was with some people and AS SOON AS WE ENTER THE BUILDING, EVERYONE WAS STARING AT US LIKE WE ARE GONNA GIVE THEM EBOLA, as we sat down on our chair and order 10 in piece chicken wings which costed 17 DOLLARS and this lady just wont stop being rude and checking in on us like were gonna steal something. We didnt even half of the wings it was salty enough to cover a whole buffets seasoning. Never again.
Had a great time... super clean and extremely excellent service. Everyone was very nice and food and drinks were great. We were a party of 10 and I wish I remembered our servers name cause she was awesome.

When I first got there, there was no wheelchair rail, I had to pick up my babys stroller up the stairs so I didnt like that. The kids did have a lot of fun, but theres a funny smell in that place. Some pluming issues. ..

We went friday night bowl, earlier around 6:30 It was ok until after an hour gotten crowded we felt not safe from distancing anymore so we left. But it was good the do disinfectant everything tha balls and shoes.
My family and I started coming here mid winter of 2018 and enjoyed our few visits throughout the spring. We decided to purchase summer passes for the three of us since my son started to show a lot of interest in the game. The passes are well worth the investment if you love to bowl. We really love coming here because the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We ended up joining the Adult/child league in September. We love bowling here because the there is a nice sense of community here. I highly recommended bowling at at the Babylon Lanes!
Really bad experience, they had a bowling tournament, they told us to wait 20 minutes and took a phone number to text us when it was ready. 20 minutes passed and the tournament was over, we went to the front desk and ask if it was available already, they told us no, we have to wait. We waited 15 more minutes. Through those 15 minutes we saw them taking people in, every time and we were still waiting. Every time we went up and asked they made us wait. I asked a friend of mine if the can go up and ask, as I saw them go up they told them that they can go in. But mean while we where still waiting . We waited almost am hour to the point that we had to call a manager. He said that they send us a message but we never got one. And àstill every time we went up he made us sit down and wait. And the manager was not helpful either, they both had a nasty attitude in front of my 5 years old. I wish i could put 0 star......DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. WOULD NEVER COME BACK HERE, WAIST OF TIME.
Attended my brothers 60th birthday surprise party. The staff was truly wonderful. They couldnt do enough to make the event a success. Very clean bathrooms and a nice atmosphere over all.

Have been bowling in a league here for about 2 years and have only ran into a complaint worthy issue once. When I addressed the manager Jess with my problem she was quick and eager to not only remedy the problem, but she made me feel my patronage was appreciated. Aside from Jess they have been updating and upgrading their facilities. The apparent dedication to constant improvement of customer care and experience is why i choose this alley over all others on the island, and you should too

Very clean, reasonable prices, especially when you go weekdays before 4. Good place for families with kids as well as solo or a couple. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have a small arcade and snacks available too.
We hosted a party for a large group and the staff were amazing. Great food, great fun, everyone had a fabulous time. Cant wait to do it again.

I love this place. I got back into bowling when my little boys wanted to go and Ive been hooked since. The staff is very attentive and the parties are a home run for kids. Cold beer too!Trinie-I cannot put myself in your shoes or speak to your experience there. I dont own the place but I can tell you that the number one employee there is Wil who is black, there are multiple all black bowling clubs and leagues who bowl there regularly and judging from the pictures of numerous other (positive) reviewers who are black it would seem to me that you had a random bad experience.

I didnt bowl here but rather went to the pro shop to get my ball polished and get new inserts. My girlfriend was also buying a new ball. Bob at the pro shop was great and very knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming back for my next ball and any other accessories.
Maria, Michelle and the bartender Steve are absolutely amazing. By far the best bowling alley I have ever been to. They are very kind and generous. This place is a must come to!
All things considered it’s a good bowling alley,they are a little cheap when the warm weather starts by not turning on A/C untilabsolutely necessary. No one wants to bowl in a sauna and that’s what it feels like at times.
Great place to bowl and to host a bowling party. Freshly painted retro 50 s style red chairs in party room. By the lanes, there is side shelf tables with retro 50 s style metal stools. Must try

Cool nice place. My lane broke down twice but was fixed relatively quick. I feel the prices are higher compared to other locations however and if youre with your family of 4-5 expect to pay closer to $100.
This place is one its last legs, we all know that. So what? You get to bowl on the cheaper side, get access to a pool table for pennies on the dollar and no one bothers you at all. In the end, bowling isnt something you plan ahead and go do; its pretty much the last thing you arrive at. Im just happy to know its nearby and is open late almost everyday.

Took the family there on a Sunday and even though it was league day, they had plenty of open lanes and private from the league. Seemed like the food was good there and they had an arcade for the kids. Will go again.
A co worker and I went bowling here on our day off and had a ton of fun, the food was pretty good, drinks were okay, friendly staff, and several genres of music played in the background. I really liked this atmosohere.

If youre not picky, AMF will get the job done. But its sorely in need of a renovation inside, and the prices dont really reflect that, IMO. Cosmic bowling (black lights, music videos) starts around 10pm on Saturday nights. Expect to wait up to 30 mins for a lane.

675 for a game and 3 bucks for she rentals is crazy.. the almost 3 bucks for a cup of coffee.. I realize business is down.. but it seams like ANF is pricing themself out of the market. And for those crazy prices you get dirty bowling balls sticky approaches constant ball returns.. I guess they cut back on quality also.. bad choice Babylon Lanes.. that must be why you only had 5 lanes running at 1pm.. when there was a week off from achool

Was in a bowling league not too long ago and the lanes are professional grade! One time I overheard another bowler mention this place is nowhere near pro bowlers level! Just wait for a pro game to come around (YEAH YOUll SEE THE COMPLAINER) in the stands!!!

I’ve heard from a friend that if a child is on a school bowling team that practices at AMF they get to bowl for 2.99 a game during any day besides Friday and Saturday is this true?
Went with a school trip three 1st grade classes. Everything was organized and went smoothly. Would definitely recommend this place.

2022-06-14I love this place!!!. Since I visited it for the first time I have become a fan of Bowling.Every MONDAY from 8pm to 11pm they offer a great deal for players: $15 Shoes and Ball for those wonderful 3 hours. Doesnt that look great?.I go every Monday, and now Im making arrangements to go on other days of the week.The staff is super friendly.If you want a drink or something to eat, you will find it there. By the way, I bought my shoes and my ball right there, they have excellent prices and very good service.I recommend it!!!

2022-03-20Great bowling alley, I have been going there since I was a kid. I love that on Sunday afternoons they split the alley to be half black light fun bowling and half league bowling. I didnt get the gentlemans name at the front desk, but he was very helpful and very nice to my son and I. He was busting his butt keeping everything going and was polite and friendly the whole time.

2022-05-24It’s been about 20 years since I went to Babylon Bowl. The last time I was there was with my late brother, so a lot of memories and emotions. Customer service wasn’t the best. We waited at the counter for about 5 minutes before someone helped. 3 employees walked through. Bowling was fine, we had a good time, and got to laugh a little after a really rough weekend saying goodbye to a family member.

2022-05-23Went for my niece and nephews 6th birthday party. They had one server doing everything. Even the bar all herself. Plus 2 other parties going on. Meanwhile they had at least 2 maybe 3 managers working. She did a pretty damn good job considering she had to run back and forth between all 3 parties.helping all the guests, serving food, cutting cake, making drinks at the bar and cleaning up each party by herself. Unfortunately my son is going on 21 months so it was not a good party for his age.

2022-06-29The thing i didnt like is that when we came as a Group we checked in and we spoke with a Bold person and he set us up with a socal unlimited bowling. When we did atleast 6 rounds they turned off the screens and we went to check out and they ended up charging me over $250 I came from California and I tought it was going to be Less but it ended up being not worth the price .I will never go there again if I am back in town of Long Island. Will look for a Better one with a reasonable price. The guy could of explained to me Better but I guest customers dont matter for this Buisness.

2022-06-02My dad bowls on a league here every Monday night and i go with our family to have fun! I love love love the staff and it’s a fun and super clean atmosphere!!!

2021-01-13Had a really fun night with my family. Masks are enforced and theres shields separating lanes. The music and overall atmosphere was great.

2018-01-21Huge place. Clean and updated. They must have over 60 lanes. We came for a birthday party. They have an arcade area for the kids, food concession stand, bar and tv area and a pro shop. They also have projector screens that come down and they can show videos, tv or anything. Great place to bowl, hang out or have a party.
