Great experience for our first time dining here. Food was very good perhaps could have used a pinch more salt or maybe a little bit of an acid in the sauce. The servers as well as the rest of the staff were very attentive a very pleasant experience. The prices arent too bad for their lunch menu especially if you get the create your own pasta dish because it includes salad and a drink. Would love to come back again and try their dinner menu.
A friend and I came here recently to take advantage of their Monday $1 oyster and $6 champagne special. The oysters were fresh and delicious and the champagne was a nice pairing, though not the best Ive had. We also split a pizza which was a nice way to close out the evening. I havent tried their other offerings but this is a great option for a Monday evening.
Good food at great prices. I would say that each of the dishes I tried needed one thing more to make them great — a splash of acid, a bit more salt, etc. But I have no complaints at all. It was a tasty meal, and the wine prices were very affordable (they are half off on a certain night). We had a wonderful bottle of Brunello for about what I would expect to pay in a liquor store. It was a very nice evening.
My companion and I were the only ones seated in the quiet bar area. I had the eggplant Parmesan which was a modest portion of the vegetable served with crostini. Great vegetarian selection, and the dessert menu also looks great... Though you could just walk into the grocery store itself and by a cannoli for less! Also, very helpful and friendly service. Ill be back next time Im in town!
This place has raised the bar for restaurants everywhere! On top of affordable prices, you get to experience quality service and authentic Italian cuisine. My husband and I come here so often that most of the staff know us by name! Even when we dined our first few times, I was impressed that waiters remembered what drinks or apps we had preferred the time before. The management is always open to suggestions and actually act on feedback from their visitors! The meals come in portions that are just the perfect size, and you can always find something to suit your taste, whether you like to try new things or prefer the classics. The latest lentil soup is phenomenal - a meal in and of itself, and you can never go wrong with a pizza. You can watch your food being prepared in the wood fire stone pizza oven and rest assured that time was taken to make your order fresh! The seating areas are very romantic with dim lighting, candles, heart shaped cutouts in hand-carved wooden chairs- a very quaint yet comfortable experience. If you have a reservation for a bigger party, check out the exquisite vine room for an evening in the summer room type of feel, or the upper room with a large round table, throne-like chairs, and a massive elegant chandelier for a more royal setting. This place has style, but its not too fancy for a simple family night out or a business meeting. I highly recommend it!!!
With reservations in hand we ate here on a Friday night - we requested seats in the kitchen section so we could watch the action. This is a much better area than the section that feels like you are almost in the store. We first got some drinks at the bar since the happy hour pricing was still in effect. I got their special Milan Mule - cannot say it was my favorite mule.
The Wednesday 12 dollar pizza and draft beer deal at the bar is amazing. Great pizza! I come every Wednesday.Edit: The daily deals are off the menu, unfortunately, but the food is still excellent. Had the tasting menu, delicious food, as always, and the paired wine was perfect. Still five stars!
Food is very Italian. Served quickly. Excellent service. Their italian thin crust pizza is very good. My wife had the mushroom pizza which has a very unique taste. We would likely recommend you try the pizza here. I had the Affogato for desert which was $7 and was okay. My wife had the olive oil cake served with Apple fruit diced which was excellent. They have coffee here. It is a rich full body coffee. Wine is available for those that wish to partake. Some chairs, some booths, and some bar style seating. Well decorated.
Loved the atmosphere. Service was great. We had the lunch combo special..very reasonable.Caesar salad was wonderful. Entre was spaghetti with sausage and meatballs. Pasta and sauce were good...meatballs not so much. Not sure what was in them..but I am first generation Italian and they did not taste authentic.
Food is fresh! Pasta is handmade! Bread is crusty and delicious and it comes with a tomato pesto. I got the beet salad with goat cheese and it was absolutely perfect. My entree was the spaghetti with seafood. The seafood was cooked perfectly (except the shrimp, which was a bit overdone) and was so fresh. My only complaint was that the sauce really had no flavor except for heat from the red pepper flakes. No tomato flavor, no garlic, no fish broth. Just heat. That is a small complaint, though, because everything was really good.
Consistently one of the top Italian restaurants in a town full of Italian restaurants, with probably the best-trained servers in the area. Chef Pasquale oversees a kitchen serving intensely flavored sauces, perfect housemade pasta...even a housemade and ultra-decadent dark chocolate sorbet. And dont miss the incredible deal on Thursday nights when every wine is half-price by the bottle.
Hello,We went to your restaurant with a group of 8 last night for dessert and coffee. It was our first time visiting. It is really beautiful.Erika was our server. We got the feeling that we were in the way, just because we didnt order dinner. Not a smile, until we walked out the door. I think they were glad we were leaving. It was not crowded at all. So, its not like they needed the table.Just an observation.Thank you.Party of 8
Friendly servers, delicious food, and good happy hour specials. My friends and I shared the mushroom pizza, calamari, and arancini. Everything was delicious and came in big portions. The arancini was a little disappointing because the texture was a bit too mushy, but otherwise everything was great.
Was very good food and was surprised by that seeing as it is in a grocery store. Only went because received a free gift card. The atmosphere was a bit odd, eating with people walking past you shopping, but again, this was to be expected. I Would not go there again unless was tying it into a shopping trip for convenience, but if you were thinking about it, definitely go, you wont be disappointed.
We had another great family dinner here tonight. Our party of 12 was graciously accommodated by our server Lisah and the fish of the day (cod) and the Zuppa de Pesce were among the outstanding entrees. Amore also makes very nice thin crust pizzas which we had as appetizers.
I made a reservation via Open Table. I arrived on time with my wife for mothers day. The hostess told us it would be a few minutes. Fifteen minutes later shed forgotten who we were. When we reminded her, the wait was suddenly at least fifteen more minutes. I didnt get to eat the food because we didnt have time to stay. I cant recommend the experience, though.
Monday nights in the bar are the best with glasses of Prosecco for $6, delicious wood fired pizzas for $10, and fresh oysters for a buck a piece. It has become a Monday night ritual for me and my friends...get through Monday, and celebrate at Amore. The service is also first rate!

2022-03-24Amazing!!! Everything we had was delicious and so fresh. Very attentive wait staff and kitchen staff. They served our meal in courses and we never felt rushed to get us out of there. I would go back again and again for any casual dinner, date night, or group or friends night. Highly recommend! Prices are higher than a chain, but you get what you pay for 100%! Worth every penny!

2022-04-20We had dinner here a couple weekends ago. My mother-in-law wanted to take us there and said great things. I don’t know if they were having an “off” night (on a Saturday) or what, but the evening needed much improvement. The restaurant didn’t look very full throughout the evening. The server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered cocktails and waited quite a while, which is okay. What was strange is that the server told us the bar was backed up, which I appreciated, but then asked if we wanted to place our order. Do we want to place our food order before we’ve even received before dinner drinks??? Instantly I knew we’d have to course out the meal ourselves because they were primed to serve everything at once. My cocktail was good, the wine served was mediocre. Nothing special or particularly good. The food was basic and, aside from the salad, was pretty bad. Bland and overcooked. I almost couldn’t believe it. I’m sure my experience isn’t the norm here with so many positive reviews. For my part, I see no reason to try again.

2022-06-19We were excited to go to Amore given both the restaurant and Wegmans reputation. I was invited to join others for a special Father’s Day dinner who had been there before and previously had wonderful experiences. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. The atmosphere was pleasant and the seating was comfortable. The hostess and wait staff were friendly albeit slow. It took a long time to receive our meals, and a second glass of wine that one person ordered before the meal didn’t arrive until during dessert. When we mentioned this, the wine was deducted from the bill.Besides the slow service, the food, while tasty, was underwhelming. Portion sizes for soups were small and nearly everything was salty. At the end of the meal, we ordered a shot of Sambuca which should be clear and came to us cloudy. When we asked the waitress if it was Sambuca, she said that she could smell the licorice so it was. We did not drink it. And what could be worse than cold creme brûlée?This entire experience was incredibly overpriced except for the “complimentary” butter boy cookies which were delicious.I was told that this was very uncharacteristic for this restaurant and should give it another try. But, given the hefty price tag I am hesitant to do so.

2019-07-09Went here a couple of times and both the service and the food quality were top notch! Got the salad and some pasta the first time and an appetizer and dessert the second time. Enjoyed very much- need to try the pizza next.

2018-06-23Another stellar example of why Wegmans is head and shoulders above their competitors. Amore is a beautiful restaurant serving delicious house made pastas and pizzas. We tried the mushroom and truffle pizza, pasta, and salads. Everything was fresh and flavorful. If youre looking for a nice Italian lunch or dinner, give it a try.

2022-04-16We were thrilled Amore reopened. The pizza alone is worth the visit.
