As I thank customer service ...BUT I am Disappointed...AS I RECEIVED 1000 OF MY ORDER OF. BOARDROOM SILVER STYLUS PENLIGHT...AND ALMOST HALF IF NOT MORE OF THESE PENS FLASHLIGHTS. DO NOT WORK...DEFECTIVE. I give away free to general public as I have put inscription if GODs Scripture Message on each pen...this is the way I spread The Word ..its embarrassing when the recepient finds defective pen...now Im checking each pen before I hand the gift ..and when supply finish I will return all defective pens for replacement or refund.I paid over $1000 and thousands more during the years to Amsterdam Printing..
The product was good...the service was bad enough that ill probably never order from this place again. after numerous attempts to find out when i would actually receive what i paid for and being told i would have an answer within 48 hours. answers never came. i ordered from a different company and received their product just in time for my promo to launch. several days after the promo i got the product from amsterdam. disapointing to say the least. to this day ive never heard an answer after talking with several customer service reps. if i could i would give zero stars
The packing were terrible, boxes were all damaged when arrived. The color of cooler bag was not the same as logo which is dark blue color I approved. Four hundred luggage grippers were not individual wrapped, they were all sticked together. Representative was not very friendly from the beginning. No communications about when will be shipped. Poor service, and very disappointed about two different colors of Cooler bag when I only expected one dark blue color!
Ive had a great experience working with Amsterdam Printing to get coffee mugs printed with our podcasts logo. We sell these to fans and listeners who all say they love the look and feel. The production and shipping times have been fast, the quality of the items is very high and reordering is a breeze. Prices are highly competitive and the frequent discounts and promotions make it even more affordable. Customer service and communication is excellent. Im also happy to support a business based in New York State!
Ordering through Amsterdam Printing was easy. The website walked me through uploading the image. I was contacted to make sure things were as I expected them before they started printing. The printing and shipping were faster than I expected. The pen I ordered is a smooth ink/medium point and the barrel is a softex material. The product has a heavy/quality feel to it.
I liked the feel of the soft touch pen and the quality of the ink which wrote smoothly with no smearing. The reasons for my low review are that (1) consistently seem to be given one price and charged another or very difficult to get quoted price (2) I used the pen for only a couple of weeks before all the imprinting was just gone. Since we purchase imprinted pens for advertising purposes, it is no help at all if the imprinting does not hold up.
Dear CS. I received my order of mixing glasses recently and just saw where the glasses were made in China. Even though the logo quality is exceptional as my previous order, I am saddened that the glass is not made in the USA as my previous order and as advertised. I intentionally ordered this product from your company solely to support USA workers and I will be looking to take my business to a company that can do that in the future. Please change your catalog to reflect that. I understand that the supply for the glasses was delayed all summer which probably caused the change but nevertheless, I will not be able to tell my clients, which are mostly firefighters, about it being made in USA.
The pricing was affordable. The website was a bit weird. I ran into the problem of the predicted shipping date passing without my order actually shipping. I talked to customer service twice and was informed to stand by without any conclusion, and then one day the package showed up.The packaging could have been done better, all my products were mixed together. I ordered six different types of construction pencils, which actually turned out to be decent products, despite everything.I would recommend if you have no deadline and are ordering a product that can take a beating in the mail. I would count on this place to be a casual place to order custom items and not for more professional settings.
I ordered a bunch of Pens and after approving the artwork it was discovered that my Logo wouldnt fit properly on the barrel of the Pen so they sent me a revised Proof and took the Company name from around the logo since it was going to be in Text on the barrel anyway and it looked great. Then they ran out of stock. They were very quick to let me know and offered no charge for my artwork and I now have many Pens. They write great, look fantastic, and Im very happy with my purchase. Ive ordered other Pens and products and they always have good stuff.
I placed an order on 9.23. On 9.27 I received an email that my chosen color was no long available so I settled for the only color left. I explained on 9.27 my event was on 10.24. They assured me I would have my product(s). It is now 10.12 and my order is still not complete. Three separate representatives explained that my order is going to be shipped 10.20 and delivered 10.22. Understanding that it is not 10.22 yet, I am very nervous about not receiving my order by the event date.
I am a huge fan of diner style coffee mugs. Amsterdam provided among the best Ive seen, and at a very competitive price. In addition, they worked patiently with me so that I could have our family crest printed on the mugs. I am satisfied with the result. These will make excellent gifts!
This was a second order of mugs. I uploaded the image to be placed on the mug but when it was printed the aspect ration wasnt the same as on my first order. It is OK but not ideal. Would prefer some way of proofing and / or an ability to re-order an identical mug without having to re-upload the images.
This is the most frustrating company I have ever worked with. I ordered mugs in October for a December time delivery. Every single time I called to inquire I would get a new story of they will be shipped or they are out of stock. I thougt I would pull my hair out. Noone know what was ever going on with my order.
Extremely pleased with your product and the service I received. I came to your company for these planners after experiencing quality issues with another company (National Pen). They could not produce a satisfactory product after two attempts. I am very grateful and will return with my printing needs in the future. Thank you.
The quality of the calendar and photos is very nice but somehow I misunderstood how you would use my logo. I sent a color logo that was 4 inch long and fit perfectly in the layout. I get a calendar with my logo shrunk to 2 inches and black and white and its almost impossible to read my web site let alone my phone number.I gave a two because the unit itself is nice but I am very disappointed in what you did to my logo.I really think I will throw them awayElbert
If I could give ZERO stars, I WOULD!!! This is the worst promo company I have ever worked with. Theyre a dime a dozen, so do yourself a favor and skip this one...no matter how good of a deal or enticing an offer they give you. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. I have had trouble from the moment I submitted my order.You best believe they called me instantly to collect half a payment, even though I selected either Net10 or Net30 terms (its been such a whirlwind with these people that I cant even remember). Anyway, I can get it...wanting 50% up front for a new customer placing an order that totals $396.44, so I agreed and willingly paid. They lady who called took my payment information, repeated it back, but somehow still miss-entered it because I got a call two days later from another woman saying that I needed to pay in full if I needed my order because I gave them bad payment information.I told the lady I didnt want to do that because I am trying to build my business credit by establishing trade lines with various businesses; paying in full wouldnt do me any good. I then convinced her to confirm the payment info I gave to the first woman who called. Only after realizing it was a mistake on their end did this second lady let me pay 50% and be invoiced the rest.This order was placed on September 16, 2020 and I just received it today, November 6, 2020 (54 DAYS LATER) and youll never guess...IT IS COMPLETELY WRONG. They did not send me the custom order I purchased...instead they sent me 200 packs of tissues!!!! What am I supposed to do with 200 packs of tissues that I didnt order!?!?!?!Waiting to see how this is resolved. I have reached out to customer service numerous times over the last 54 days and it has been a struggle every time for one reason or another. I am not holding my breath that this will be resolved any time soon.
Product quality was good. Execution was not so much. The notebooks came inverted. The back cover was printed on the front and the front was printed on the back. When I brought this to the sales rep Junes attention she said she was sorry it did not meet my expectations. When I called in to customer service to ask them to update the website so that future orders would not have this same problem they said I can always call in and tell them when I order to print it correctly. Not helpful. Then June sends me an email asking me if I want to order additional products. I have purchased pens and notebooks and I was very satisfied with the product quality but the customer service is horrible. Oh and the proposed fix... I can get 15% off my next order which id have to call in after I placed it to ensure I didnt get 50+ incorrectly printed notebooks. No thanks. My organization will be going elsewhere.Update: The sales manager called and resolved the issue and has stated that the issue with the inverted covers has been resolved. I am happy with the resolution and appreciate her call.
We finally received our church order. The mail and delivery system has been challenging this past holiday season so we are very understanding of the longer wait. Our order was well worth the wait. The calendars are beautiful and have Scripture for every day! We are very pleased and very thankful for a company that offers products for churches! Thank you!
This company is a scam. Ruined my entire event. I had ordered a lot of promotional pencils to be delivered on Oct4th 2021. They still havent processed my order and now they are telling me the items are going to arrive on the Nov11th. Thank God I didnt place all my eggs in the same basket and ordered some of the other promo items from a local provider. THIS. COMPANY. IS. A SCAM. Our first order of vinyl calendars was misprinted; CS said they would resend the same at no charge. Sadly, 20 of the 53 received on the replacement order have partially sliced seams or torn corners on the vinyl. Take a look at the pictures below. Sadly we will have to order from somewhere else.
The worst company ever! I ordered some polos on 10/06/2021 and today is 11/12/2021 and still no order confirmation.. no shipment confirmation and no emails providing order status. I had to call customer service and cancel the order. Customer Service didnt even know the reason of the delay.. worst printing company ever.thank you for nothingYanira Casiano
Placed my order on May 7. Because the companys website says in multiple places (including on the item I ordered) that they ship in three business days, I expected to have my products sometime the following week or even early the week after that. My items did not ship until May 21. When I approached customer service twice to find out what the delay was, I was first given vague reassurances by Jim and then was finally told my credit card couldnt be processed. At no time did Amsterdam Printing reach out to me to tell me there was a problem with the card - no voicemails, no emails. My items arrived fine on May 24 and I got what I expected except for slack customer service and a product that arrived weeks after it was expected.
The product was good. The service was lacking. I had asked for a hold to validate the design. The hold was placed. I increased my order. Afterward, they removed my hold. (I never received or verified a proof). They printed and shipped the items. I appealed. They said sorry, until I pressed more. They finally, after 4 people, gave me a partial refund and an apology. On top of all of this I ordered back in January. Received at the end of February.
We ordered 450 custom pocket calendars on 2/18/21. I called today to find out what was going on with our order, as last week it showed a ship date. This week the order showed it was on hold. They didnt have the calendars to make our order but no one bothered to tell us for the last month! Poor customer service.
My clients love receiving these beautiful, scenic calendars every year. I have been told they look forward to getting theirs when I distribute them at my annual appreciation meeting. This year I had to mail the calendars, but I am still getting very positive responses and thank you phone calls. My clients absolutely love the floppy head pen/stylus combinations!
Pens themselves are terrific! Shipping information was never updated so I had to call Customer Service to find out when my shipment would arrive. Took quite a bit longer than their estimate even with the Covid-19 excuse. Missed having pens for my grand opening. Life continues and I am satisfied with my purchase.
We thought we found a a great place. We ordered 300 pens for a event coming up. My original order was 150 than a customer rep called offering a deal for a additional 150 pens. I asked when they would be shipped, she said the 17th. Than I got a email saying the 18th, but they got shipped the 19th. Those 2 days made it so we didnt get the pens on time. Also what the customer rep quoted for a price was not correct they charged me more. Wont order from them again or recommend this company.Update: Changed my rating to a 5 star. I received a call. Amsterdam was very apologetic because of the delayed shipping and the incorrect charge for the pens. They issued a refund for the incorrect charge and gave me some money back because of the delayed shipping. Thank you for excellent customer service! I appreciate the call
Giving this pen 4 stars, due to the logo can only be 1/4 inch tall. The look and feel are fantastic. The ink (gel) writes sooooo smooth. I use it all the time now and my clients are enjoying it as well. Amsterdams customer service was great, they worked with me and allowed me to try another pen that accommodated my logo better and assisted me with the entire process. I would buy this pen again, only if I omitted my logo and went with something easy to see or just text.
My husband tried ordering customized mugs from a different company who, needless to say, kept coming up delays in completing the order. I found Amsterdam Printing who had what we were looking for. We were able to upload the mug design and immediately could see what the finished product would look like. As indicated when we placed the order early January, we received the shipment when promised. The cups were professionally done and extremely well packaged to prevent breakage. We will definitely use Amsterdam Printing for any future orders.
We have used Amsterdam printing for years and have always enjoyed the quality of their products and the pricing, especially their flashlight pens. We have literally given away thousands of them.However, I was seriously disappointed recently when I received an e-mail notification almost 3 full weeks after we placed a $2,000 order informing me that their art department had a problem with the mousepad design that we submitted. We needed this order in a hurry - and told them that at the time of the order - but it still took almost a week just to get the order placed.To find out weeks later that none of our order has been processed, yet, is a major disappointment. I am not sure if we will start looking for another supplier of promotional items or not.I am only giving them 2 stars (instead of 1) because of all of the years that we have been using them and the great customer service we have received in the past. This time, it took almost a week to get a callback from someone who could tell whether or not they could waive the shipping charges for us, like they have done in the past. (They could not)*******************************************************************UPDATE: I am upgrading my original 2-star review with a 4-star rating after a manager with Amsterdam Printing called me to apologize for the fumbled order and offer to waive the setup fees for the two items we ordered. I am still unhappy that one of the three items we wanted cannot even be printed, which held up the other two items, but they at least called and tried to make amends.They still have the best selection and pricing around, so I will assume that this was a one-time mix up, and that things will get back to normal.
Love the way these pens write and the white/silver is classy. I was a little disappointed in way the printing came out. It was more of a grey instead of black as ordered. Most of the pens printed clearly but several right on top (ordered 400) were smudged or missing letters altogether. I checked through several handfuls and they appeared ok. Overall, we are pretty much satisfied with our order. The order was expedited efficiently (order taken over the phone) and arrived as promised.
I was sent one by you in the mail as a gift. I liked it so much that I want to send one to my customers!I send one with every package I send out, whether inside the USA or outside to other countries. It has helped my customers remember my business name and phone number. When asked about my product, they always keep a pen handy. So far I have made 3 orders of the same pen! The customers love it!
These pens are really nice. They are a very nice icebreaker when meeting new clients. Your business name and contact information is right on the pen, and that keeps you in the forefront of your customer for your product. People like the fact that these pens light up. The pens are easy to order, and they arrive quickly. These pens are definitely worth the money.
Quick responses when the color I ordered was not available. Beautiful imprint including our logo. I am very, very happy with the quality of the product (the same quality I have been ordering for more than 20 years!) and the speed of delivery from the day I placed my order. I had some issues during my order process, but by the end of the day they made a lot of efforts to revert this situation and I got amazing pens on time. High quality, great laser engraving. The team was very dedicated to solve my problem and deliver on time. I recommend this company!
I love these pens! Theyre wonderful conversation starters that really can help promote your business since they actually do put your name in lights. Tends to bring out the kid in the recipient just about every time. People are thrilled to find that they light up, and often leave clicking away as they talk excitedly about the pen. They rarely fail to give hearty thanks to the giver. Definitely recommend these pens!
Pen writes well and is a pretty color but the black lettering on the mauve pen does not show up well even though in the preview everything looked good before the order was placed. Surely the company knows this and should either warn perspective clients about it or prevent color printing combinations when ordering on line.They did contact me and offered to make it right and were very courteous about the problem. Therefore I am updating my review...
Very nice quality. My sister had these made for my daughters bridal shower. We left small containers of them next to each of the questions we made up as the game. Everyone loved them. I just saw my husband using his the other day. So, Ive ordered them for my other daughters bridal shower. BIG HIT.
Do not believe in the coupons they send! I got this coupon for this super cool light up pens. And I was really impressed. The coupons said that for any quantity (50+) each pen was gonna be $1.89. So I got my calculator out and I was like wow only $94.5 for 50 pens that cool. So I decided to go make the other. But forget it about it, when they start applying set up fees, logo fees and shipping fees your order can double. So for the 50 pens that supposedly were going to be $94.5, I was gonna pay $171.50. Are you serious? It almost doubled up. Not good. I will keep using other websites. You can stay with your cool pens. But please do not send out coupons when the fees will make it super expense.
Excellent first time experience. Was nervous to order to see the final personalized product in hands, but it met all the expectations. The service was very fast then even expected with set up time and everything. Got regular shipping and the final product in hands within 1 week of placing the order. Also liked the various options on the site. Highly recommend to everyone. Was a return favors to my daughters birthday party, everyone loved it so much that they asked where online did you buy it?plus very cost effective less than even my expected budget.
The product was fine outside of the fact the salesperson that I originally spoke with didnt inform me that your screen printing was done in Mexico and the wait for the product would be longer. I like the laser engraving that you no longer do on that style of pen so I may have to find another source as that is why I quit doing business with National Pen for a few reasons but that was one of them. Our non profit was told we would have top notch service and quality products from Amsterdam staff.Our T-Shirts arrived 2 months after we ordered them and we were forced to pay in full in advance without being able to see or inspect our product.Our shirts arrived and they were very sub par, the imprinting came off with the first wash in cold water. We called to get our 100% Customer satisfaction guarantee. Was told to send our shirts back and we would get our refund right away.We sent our shirts in over 2 weeks ago and they are playing games with refunding our money. Last week we were told we would have it within 24 to 48 hours. 6 days later we still have not got our money back. Now they say they are mailing us a check and it will be here in a week.We have our lawyers drafting lawsuit paperwork. We are a public safety organization and will not be kicked around without repercussions.Buyer Beware.
If you want your product printed/imprinted/delivered correctly, I highly recommend you do NOT use this company. Not only did they mess up my order FOUR times- and I approved a correct proof each time so I cant fathom what happened between proof approval and production- but their escalation department was rude and acted as if my frustration was unwarranted. I am beside myself at their incompetence and lack of professionalism. There are far too many other good promo goods companies out there to choose this one.
So back in June I placed an order which came up to less than $100 on the invoice I saw, I approved the printing and was excited to receive my pens at such great price with discount. A few days into the order a lady called me asking me if I wanted a logo on the pens sence it was free after all I said sure she suggested a sun logo which was nice. I then received an updated invoice for 3 times the initial price and this is where all the issues started. No one knows where the initial invoice is nor who called me to offer me a free logo?? We are currently working on the issue yet I will not be stuck with a $270 bill. Hopefully this will be resolved abd I can cone back and change my rating perhaps.
Every get the feeling that your order is sitting, unattended somewhere in a warehouse, being overlooked, possibly lost???I wish I had read reviews on this company before giving them my business. I have since found out that I could have gotten this same product elsewhere...and probably would have my order by now. There are many reviews here of past clients who had the same issue I had. They seem to be infamous for dropping the ball.I ordered deskpad calendars with various logos and provided the artwork for it. It took 2 weeks to get my proof. It may have taken longer had I not followed up on the items FOUR TIMES in that 2 week period.Contacting Customer Service is ineffective because they do not know what the true status of your order is. You have to ask for a manager. Manager takes 24 to 48 hours to respond to emails and is never available by phone. Theyve had their 18 day processing time. My order still says Order Received. Was suppose to ship no later than yesterday. There is too much competition out there in this industry for me to put up with this kind of service inadequacy.
The print on the pen was too small and could hardly be read. The actual pens are almost transparent, but the proof did not look like that. I emailed the company to say I was not satisfied as the pens were hard to read, and I had received many emails asking if I was satisfied, and I was offered a 10% discount, thats it. The proof needs to look a whole lot more like the actual pen OR have recommended ink and font for each pen. If you havent ordered pens before, you are left in the dark to figure it out.
For the past 3 1/2 years, we have been working as Plumbers on a large construction project. Since were near the completion of it, we were looking for some special gifts for our final Plumbing party! Amsterdam Print was able to provide us with an excellent product, coffee mugs, with the picture of our completed building! They look super! At the party, we handed them out and had a large group photo with over 150 Plumbers present. It was wonderful! Everyone loved the mugs! The quality is excellent and the customer service was the absolute best! Amsterdam Print was able to work with us on our requested date and didnt disappoint. Excellent quality pens!! My dentist uses these pens and I have looked everywhere to find the same kind, finally had her refer me directly to Amsterdam Printing to order my own, could not be happier and I get so much compliments on such a high quality pen! I purchased the ENTICE® STYLUS PEN.
We ordered our items 2 months before our event date, took them weeks to even send the order into production when they told us 2 of the items we ordered were no longer in stock. This delayed them even further and when the items arrived weeks late and a different style than we had originally asked for the design was messed up! there was ink everywhere and missing half of our design, not to mention out of the 500 items we ordered only 214 arrived. When I contacted them they apologized and said they would redo the order and send us all of our items by our event date but they never arrived. Only to hear from them weeks later saying they hadnt even been put into production. I want to report this company to the better business bureau absolutely horrible production services. DO NOT USE. 3 months later we still have not received our full order...
We ordered 200 bottles and the logo was positioned completely wrong from the draft which made the bottles look ridiculous. It seemed nobody in the company understood the difference between portrait and landscape positioning. Literally, 3 different reps. I was offered 10% off at first to keep the bottles. No thanks. Finally they said they would reprint the bottles and send me postage to ship back the mistake bottles. 5 weeks later I still didnt get the return shipping labels or the corrected bottles. I had called at week 2 and 3 to inquire about the reprints. At week 5 i had enough. The rep then said they wouldnt issue the reprints until they received the bottles back that they NEVER sent the return labels for!!Finally, I talked to a manager who within two days had refunded my money and canceled the reprint per my request as i was done. It seemed as if after they had my $1000.00 they no longer cared about fixing my order. On top of that, the Hurricane in Florida hit about 4 1/2 weeks into this 5 week debacle, and they had the nerve to blame the Hurricane for the printing delay, even though for 4 weeks they did absolutely nothing.To update. Because of storage space at my office being at a premium, I had the bottles shipped to my home. Within weeks I started getting junk mail to my home address from 4-5 different companies with my business name on the mail. So to top it off, theyve sold off my home address to other business for solicitation. That was the last straw that pushed me to write a review.
*** Editing star rating to 3 stars because Amsterdam issued a refund on the 3 day shipping.BE AWARE if you need something rushed from this company, you may be disappointed. I needed pens by Nov 13th for an event on Nov 14th. The order was placed on Oct. 30th. I paid an additional $42.07 for UPS 3 DAY SELECT shipping. This should have been PLENTY of time, right? I was allowing 2 weeks and paid for 3 day shipping. But no. I received a shipping confirmation on Nov 5th. By Nov 8th, tracking status on the UPS site was still showing that UPS was waiting for the package so I reached out to Amsterdam because I was concerned and I knew we were working with a deadline. Customer Service told me that the pens were manufactured in Mexico and there is an automatic 2 day hold involved with that. I immediately questioned why I would even have the option of picking 3 day shipping if that were the case and I was told that not all pens originated from Mexico. Im not sure how that is my problem and offering 3 day shipping was misleading at best. I was then told that sometimes orders get lost. Ivan at customer service, who incidentally was very polite and helpful, tried to get more information on the order. He called me again on Mon Nov 11th and said he would place a back up order with rush air shipping but he couldnt guarantee it would arrive on time either because it too was coming from Mexico and would have a 2 day hold (oh, and that they wouldnt charge me for the air shipping- I should hope not). Of course, nothing came by event day. I received one order the day after and one the week after. So, theres a both a tracking issue here and a misleading upcharge issue at play here. No one could locate the original package initially- it wouldnt show on the tracker until UPS had it in hand, and also the upgraded shipping should not have been an option when the order was actually assigned to be manufactured out of the country. I should have been contacted about that possibility and I probably would have made other arrangements. Barring all of that, the $42.07 that I spent on faster shipping should have been refunded. Yes, I eventually received double the pens, I appreciate that Ivan tried to rush another order, and I like the pens just fine, but they were ordered specifically for that event and we did not get them in time. So, overall, Im dissapointed with the experience.
These pens had a Wow effect on everyone who received them. They were a huge hit at our patient conference. They are memorable and definitely getting the word out about our patient advocacy organization. Im delighted with these pens. Seeing them on your website doesnt capture the true illumination. Seeing them in person really is impressive!
I work at a marketing agency and ordered calendars for one of my clients. A couple of days later I hadnt received an invoice so I went in my orders to check the status. It said On Hold- waiting for more information, so I called customer service to see what was needed from me. I was told that this item was no longer in stock and they had nothing similar. And on the website it still shows the item as available. Very poor communication and if I would have never looked at my order status I dont think I would have ever been notified that my order was never processed.
Amsterdam offered a great deal by eliminating the set-up charge for my imprint and by giving a great price on my order of 110 pens. Although there was a lengthy backorder on my pens, and although it seemed as if I would never get them, the wait was worth it. The pens are exquisite. Im enjoying giving them to family, friends, students, colleagues, etc. Amsterdam also earns five stars for a great job at keeping me informed about the status of my order, especially in light of the lengthy delay. I made one order for a charity gift. Once you order from them, they will solicit to you like a virus that doesnt go away. My mail is constantly flooded with their marketing materials, even after Ive asked them to stop numerous times. If you order from them, be prepared to deal with their ridiculous sales for years afterwards. I regret buying my pens from them every single week.
I had never thought about having mugs produced for my company until I saw the promotional offer. It was a really great deal. While there was a small issue with the logo, it was on my end and they helped me get it corrected. Im very happy with the product and have recommended that to others.
I was very disappointed with my latest order from Amsterdam Printing. My first order for 150 pens was great, all the pens arrived in good shape and the price was reasonable for the product. My second order for 150 pens was double the price and the pens showed up with many of the pens in various states of being broken or not assembled. There were extra parts in the box from another type of pen and even two pens from another persons order. It took me awhile to assemble the final count of my 150 pens with some parts left over. From a happy customer who would recommend Amsterdam to an unhappy customer who will not recommend Amsterdam Printing.
Shady Pricing. I went on the website and found a great deal on a product under a promotion that offered 50% off. I think it was for 1st time customers. I created a customized product and created an account while the product was in my cart. When I went back to my cart, the product price doubled. I contacted the chat and they kept asking for he code that I didnt notice since it was applied automatically. There is supposed to be a sales rep contacting me...
Ordered promo pens, 50 for $29.50, no set-up fee, free shipping. Although the pens are beautiful and received in a timely manner, I was charged 3 separate times and overcharged. I called to straighten out the problem. I was switched to different people to correct the problem. The people I spoke to were nice but it was frustrating trying to straighten this out. I finally got to the right person to credit my account. I was told I placed a second order and cancelled it... I did not. That still doesnt account for 3 transactions. I was told more than once that I was receiving 3 extra pens. Thank you but I did not order 3 extra pens and should not be charged for them. Bottom line I was only charged for the ONE order I placed, shipping cost was refunded but I still paid a couple of dollars more than what I should have... I think I paid for the extra 3 pens. I am chalking this up to experience. I will not be ordering from this company again nor would I recommend them.TO OWNER: Thank you for your response but it is not worth the hassle trying to get credit for the 3 pens I was charged for, it was difficult enough to get the shipping fee back. Overruns should not be charged for.... this is your problem, not the customers problem.
It is not 100% satisfaction guarantee...they only guarantee for 1 year, so that is a little misleading. We just started using our pens that we bought in 2017 as we finally needed to open that box and none of the 525 pens work. These were replacement pens from 2016 when they sent the wrong ink color for one of the boxes of pens. The ink is all dried up and they have never been used until now. Very disappointing!
I am beyond pleased with the quality of service that this company has provided. I recently ordered the Almera ink pen to pass on to clients. (I have a small counseling practice and an even smaller budget so the quality and price of these pens was exactly what was needed!) I received my original order and while I was very happy with the product itself, I felt the printing wasnt quite up to what I believed I would be getting. Once Amsterdam learned of my less than enthusiastic feeling about the original order, they were quick to see what they could do to make the order right. To that end, a new order is being printed and Amsterdam has won a customer for life. Very impressed at how they went out of their way to ensure a happy customer!
I ordered pens in April for an event. Imprint for name and phone number was only 3/4 long. My business name has 4 words so all 4 put together was less than an inch long. They sent a replacement that was exactly the same size.I cant use them but all they have offered is 20% off to keep them or the would send samples of something else. Its now July and I have not gotten anything except Im sorry you are not satisfied with your order emails. They may have a 100% guarantee but the dont say how many hoops to jump through or how long they string you along to get a refund. I will admit that the pens do write really nice.
Their pen quality is decent, but they mark up their shipping by AT LEAST 500%. They charged me $58 to ship 100 pens (less than a half pound in weight and the size of a sandwich) via UPS GROUND. They then say we have no control over shipping costs which is an outright lie. RETAIL rates for shipping at a local UPS store are LESS than 20% of this cost > and you better believe someone that ships for a business model has an account with UPS. What is the point of coupons and savings when they just gouge it right back out of you to ship. They are marking up shipping by 500% at least. I would look for a vendor who isnt gouging you to death.
We wanted a coffee mug with our logo printed on both sides and liked the design of this mug, with its accent color on the inside of the mug. After working with the information we received from Amsterdam Printing, our graphics design people were able to create a graphic which would work with the wrap around style. Our order was processed quickly and we were informed of the progress during the project printing as well as package tracking after the product shipped. Everything arrived in excellent condition and we are extremely happy with the results! We will definitely be ordering from Amsterdam Printing again!
I ordered laser engraved pens for my business. I initially ordered 250 pens, but then received a phone call taking me into purchasing a larger order of 500 pens. After receiving two proofs that were never approved, I then received a box of 250 incorrectly printed pens. After reaching out to my initial customer service representative, I then got pass onto two other agents who both knew nothing about my situation. I continue to get phone calls from different agents who are clueless about my account status, so I have to explain over and over again, what the issue is. I just got another call form a lady who had confused my account with another. I do not usually write bad reviews for companies, but this is craziness. I can not believe how unorganized they are. I truly hope that my situation is one of a kind, because I am beyond frustrated and want to receive me correctly printed pens that I have been waiting almost a month for.
I have now printed ceramic mugs with Amsterdam printing twice and each time they have come through. Two of my mugs were broken in one of the shipments and they credited me for both of them. Their customer service was awesome - they answered all my initial process questions and delivered a great product for me. I will definitely use them again.
We received your order F870000 on 11/20/2020 10:52:58.Like the previous review, would also give them zero stars and will recommend to all never to use Amsterdam for any of your promotional needs. President Jason Moreau, get involved with this one - you missed an order for 5000 mugs for frontline VA Healthcare workers that was to arrrive yesterday. Now we are told they might not even be delivered before the end of the year. Your Supervisor Iriz Oluciano who was going to call us back 2 days ago with an update has not. Unbelievably poor service Jason and team.
Not satisfied with stylus gel pen because the stylus end does not last due to it it coming off the end of the pen. It splits or is easily dislodged by the friction between pocket and coat. This renders the stylus feature useless long before the ink supply is depleted. It is of dubious quality to represent a business
I am very dissapointed with the way things were handled regarding my custom desk calendars. I ordered these calendars on cyber Monday thinking I’d be getting these calendars this week to send to my customers. We were told via email yesterday that our order had been cancelled due to them not having enough calendars. Now I cannot find someone who can have these to me by my deadline, and our customers are going to for the first time in 30 years not receive our signature desk calendars. I wish the company had helped me make another arrangement or even respond to my email. I am away and did not have my artwork with me to send to anyone else, and Amsterdam printing just didn’t seem to care.
STAY AWAY !!!! I placed an order for ink pens, created an account to make it easier for future orders and did not UN-check the receive offer box. Within the last 3 hours since I placed the order I have received over 3000 spam emails asking me to confirm my subscription to hundreds of companies, I use this email for my business and have spent all afternoon trying to un--subscribe from all of the companies on the list.
After many years of ordering from this company, I simply cannot believe the absolute lack of anything that remotely resembles customer service. We ordered glasses and even after a proof, the glasses arrived looking nothing like what we ordered. We then allowed a second chance to correct the order, with the result being exactly the same. What a complete waste of time and money! And now, after multiple calls, we cannot get the 7 boxes picked up by UPS. They want us to haul them to the UPS store, yet they have only sent us one label (for 7 boxes!). More phone calls and yet not one person who does what they say they are going to do. So incredibly disappointing.
Love this calendar and anxious to give out as a Thanks for business or Friendship, with sentiments so nicely presented.Envelopes make it complete, especially if personalizing each one. Framing in a simple 11x17 frame, it fits nicely and makes it truly an art piece, enhancing any decor.
These people know promotional products!Ive worked with Amsterdam Printing on a number of occasions. Their customer service has always been knowledgeable and helpful and the products have always been great quality for a good price and arrived on time.Thanks for making my brand look good!
So far we have purchased insulated mugs, carabiner keychains and pens from Amsterdam. Everything has been excellent. We have only had 1 pen that wasnt completely printed. The quality of the products have been excellent and our service rep. is very friendly and so helpful! Our business will continue to use Amsterdam Printing.
Placed an order for glass mugs for an event. Paid extra to have additional logo on opposite side. Order received with one logo on both sides. I called company, they said they will rerun and assured me I would have them in time for the event. Of course, I did not receive them in time because, according to customer service, they didnt use the correct shipping. So Im out 619.00 and have no mugs for my event. Useless waste of money
Very Disappointed. I have ordered from other companies but when Amsterdam reached out to me - I was happy with their pricing and proof. BIG MISTAKE - they sent me an invoice for $ 947.85 but then debited $991.45 from my credit card !!!! when the pens came - you CANNOT see the print. It is a small totally ineligible print. I am stuck with these pens. Forget about distributing them - they are a disgrace.
The design of the pens and the message I had imprinted are great icebreakers. I also present them to poets at our open mic events. In addition, when someone asks to borrow a pen, I give them one of these and tell them to keep it. All in all, they make quite an impression. Thanks.
Bottom line: this company cannot handle printing on mugs in more than one color.I had a lot of problems with this company. It started with the customer service, which was very bad. Although to be fair, once I elevated to a manager, that person at least did try hard to help.However, this brings me to my main complaint of this company: it doesnt matter that the manager tried to help, because this company is incapable of making a good product.I bought 72 Hilo mugs for my non-profit clinic. I sent the company my groups simple logo, which is three colors. On the website, it offers tri-color printing on mugs. After further discussion with the company, I sent a high-quality vector image of the logo. But, the manager informed me that their printers could not handle the (simple) three-color logo.So, I said fine. Lets do this in two colors. The logo at this point is extremely simple. Orange letters with a white outline around them. They told me it would be fine, and printed and sent me the product. IT WAS TERRIBLE. The interior color and the outline do not line up on many of the mugs, the interior orange color is blotchy, and the ink is smeared on several of the mugs. They look really horrible.At this point, I sent pictures of the final product to the manager. He apologized. He tried to tell me that he had let me know there were problems with the printing, but that is not true. He had said the three-color image would have problems, not the two color (which is why we switched to two-color). He offered me, basically $250 off (to a total still over $300), or I could ship them back, at my cost. I was so sick of the company at this point, and I could not stomach the idea of paying $100 to ship the mugs back, and have nothing to show for it, so I unhappily accepted the discount. But I now have 72 poorly done mugs, that quite honestly are embarrassing, and make my non-profit seem unprofessional.So heed my warning! Unless you are doing a very simple, single color imprint, this company probably does not have the skill or machinery to do a good job. There are many companies that can do this kind of work. You should choose a different one.
Not what I ordered! I ordered custom imprinted business window envelopes with a color logo, what I received was printed in all black. I rechecked the order confirmation email which showed I ordered them with a red logo. I also discovered they charged me more than the order confirmation showed. I contacted customer service and told them Id accept the single color envelope they shipped provided they credit me for the color charge. I was told I didnt order a colored logo, it didnt matter what the order confirmation said, there was an error in their system so the order confirmation wasnt correct. They were unwilling to do anything to correct or credit the order.
Horrible, horrible experience. Placed an order for calendars beginning of December hoping to receive it before end of the year. When we called to follow up after a couple of weeks we were told that we will be getting it before Christmas. Today, December 20th we called again to see when it is coming we were told that it was out of stock. No phone call, email, no nothing. Time definitely wasted and the worst part is we can not place another order even with somebody else for us to get it in time. Definitely the worst company. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional. We understand that things happen but the least they can do is at least inform the customer. Had we not called we never would have found out that they never even processed our order. We asked for an alternative or different option but there was no remorse whatsoever or at least an effort to fix their mistake. Very very very bad company and would definitely discourage anyone doing business with them.
I did NOT have such a great first experience! I ordered some pens (100 Count). The order was $68 with a Promotion for Free Shipping. Well, I was charged shipping in which I was then charged $88! THEN I receive an invoice and the total price I was charged was $92.02! Apparently, it was due to overruns and you have to get your account flagged of you dont want to be charged for that. How would a customer know anything about overruns Sounds like an issues between the company and who they use to make their products! I will not give this company another dime of my money and Im highly considering returning their product, whenever it FINALLY arrives, for a complete refund!!! Waste of time and now Im short marketing material for my event!!!
This company has been a disaster to work with. I ordered 2300 dollars worth of promotional items and I called before I placed the order to make sure that i would get proofs before items were sent to me. They said that Nothing would go to production without your approval after the art department emails you proofs I waited 5 days, no email, i called them and they said Everything has gone to production and should be finishing up soon that day I started getting proofs, at that point i wanted to make changes and was told I couldnt. When i called them again they told me that if theres anything i didnt like when it arrived i could send it back to them. At that point I had gotten an email saying The logo is not clear and we can not guarentee it comes out looking good I called back asking what actions i needed to take. I was told that there was no actions, they dont see on their end that any logos needed to be resent in with a higher quality. The very next day i get another email saying the same thing, so i called again and was told looks like they need a new logo from you and that it wont look good after production I informed them that there was no clarity on which item they were referring to (I had purchased 6 items, using 3 different logos) I was told that I can not change the logo because it is in production. I NEVER APPROVED OR SAW PROOFS. They are currently sending me 1300 promotional items that I have no idea what i am getting
Terrible experience from the beginning stages of the order (promising it would be in hand by a certain date and not even updating me when that was no longer going to be the case) to the end (waiting weeks and weeks for a refund after the product had been promptly returned to them—due to their own errors—with no update or information on why it was taking so long). I definitely will not place another order through them, there are too many other companies out there to work with.
If I could give less than one star, I would. I ordered 14 logo-branded dress shirts for a conference. I placed my order online on 8/8. Online, it showed that all sizes were in stock. I also called and requested a proof. I was told I would get the proof within 24 hours. I called again on 8/10 and was told the proof wasn’t ready. I called again on 8/11 and was told that the proof was still not ready. I called again on 8/14 and someone finally sent me the proof, which I immediately approved.I explained that I needed the products in hand by 8/25 (8/28 at the VERY latest) for the conference. I was told that should be fine. I asked for confirmation, and the representative called production and again confirmed that the 8/28 date would work. I have this verbal confirmation in a voicemail.I called on 8/22 to check that everything was on track for delivery, and ONLY THEN learned that most of the shirts were out of stock. So, now I have no products for my conference.
Super over priced! Charge $30 set up fee and $25 shipping will be at $55 before you even order anything and item minimum are crazy high. The only reason I dealt with these scammers was to build Business Credit. Just fought out they dont even report positive payment to D&s or any credit services. They only report if you dont pay. On invoice they say we report to d&b every 30 days. Those scammers mean NON PAYMENTS ONLY....stay away. Slow over priced shipping, basic quality at best.
Havent received the order yet but that is also why I will not do business with this company again. I placed an order on the 8th BECAUSE it said I would receive the order by the 15th (Friday). Once the order was finally shipped, the tracking number said I wouldnt get it until the 18th, I needed the shipment by today (the 16th). I am now out a gift and need to figure an alternative route out. Hopefully the pens make the late shipment worth the wait.
This is the first time ordering from Amsterdam Printing and we are very happy with the scenic assortment stapled wall calendars, the calendars are good quality and our customers like them. Peter in customer service was a big help when going thru the process of getting the calendars ordered. We will definitely order calendars again from Amsterdam Printing.
I bought shot glasses with a logo on them. 1/3 of glasses were misprinted with ink missing on the print. The other 2/3 came out awesome, but the problem is that I couldnt sell the 1/3. I was selling these shot glasses as a fundraiser. I did get 1/3 my money back BUT it technically cost me because I could make a profit for my organization.

2022-03-05I received 3 free samples from Amsterdam printing as follows:1. 45559 CIVIC PENCIL B172 TOPAZ BLUE2. 43406 MOOD PENCIL #2 LEAD 9999 VIOLET TO PINK3. 46961 12 PIECE COLORED PENCIL SET 9999All were shipped quickly and packed very well. I absolutely LOVE the mood pencil, and how it changes color. The CIVIC pencil I use for my business and will probably order both of these pencils as promotional tools for my customers. The colored pencil set is absolutely adorable. My grandkids enjoy using them for coloring.Amsterdam printing products are reasonably priced, they ship fast, and I definitely recommend this company for your business needs.

2022-05-16We have been buying pens from Amsterdam Printing for years and have been very satisfied. We had an problem with one style of new pen and they replaced them immediately. Excellent customer service. We will definitely continue to buy our pens from them and would highly recommend them.

2022-05-23Good pen...attractive and of good quality. The stylus stays intact through multiple uses. I like the flow of the ink. The only problem is I find that if Im not paying attention when I use it I will get ink marks on my fingers.

2022-06-18After a considerable amount of time searching for just the right mug to use in our restaurant, I found Amsterdam Printing and began the process of producing THE MUG! Now, THE MUG needed to be black with a red interior. That was the easy part with Amsterdam Printing...They carried that mug. But, it was larger than I wanted, so, I had to sleep on it for a few days before deciding 11 ounces was OK.Another business asked me about my advertising scheme for 2022. He liked my idea and asked if he could also advertise on the other side of the mug. We both worked on getting our advertising just right and after six months of back and forth, we finally got what we wanted.The boxes arrived timely and undamaged...I personally checked all the mugs....and as of today we are happy! Thank YOU!

2022-03-24I randomly chose Amsterdam Printing from the internet to order pens for my church. I could not be more pleased !!! The pens are of great quality & weight and write like a DREAM !!! I have had so many compliments on them from members of the church. Some especially like the stylus on the end of the pen that they can use on their phones. I highly HIGHLY recommend Amsterdam Printing for their high quality products !!!!

2022-05-13Placed an order in the beginning of March 2022. Production time was 10 business days. On the 10th day I had not received tracking so followed up with them. They apologized profusely but they forgot to reach out to us that our color choice was out of stock. Fine - mistakes happen. We came up with an updated timeframe of 4 more business days for production and 4 days for shipping. That came and went and got an email saying they were behind but it would ship that day and they upgraded it to overnight shipping. At this point I have missed our event - we can still use the item some other time but they really dropped the ball. Arrived back home from said event and it still is not here - so much for overnight shipping. Called next business day and it is still in production but they stated they would call back that day and let me know an ETA. I never got a call but got an email saying they would let me know an ETA as soon as they knew. That was a week ago and nothing since. Nearly 2 months for a 10 day production. I will also note their marketing department does not seem to be having the same issues - they are churning out the emails in full force - 20 to be exact. The best one was asking me to reorder the item that has not arrive yet - you cant make this stuff up. After posting a public review I got another call and email from a manager with new updated timeline. I checked in the day after it was supposed to be shipped and this time the order had been put in canceled status. Again numerous apologies with an update that that item was in the shipping dept. So it is officially in the shipping dept and they confirmed it is for overnight shipping. That was on Monday and today is Friday - I emailed yesterday asking about shipping and no response (order was placed 3 months ago now).

2022-06-09I ordered 288 silicup wine glasses as a giveaway for a fund raiser for a non-profit of which I serve on the board and as the treasurer. I received an email approximately a month after the order was place saying my order would arrive by the end of May. On June 6th, I received a phone call saying the item I ordered wasnt available and no alternative was offered. This left me with very few options and no time to find a replacement for the fund raiser.Update: I just received a follow-up call from the Company to apologize and was sent some suggestions on replacement items. Unfortunately the items wont work for what I need, but I do appreciate the Company calling and trying to make things right.

2022-05-26Very disappointed. I purchased almost 2 months ago $500 worth of pens. I have no updates and no responses to requests. This is a disappointing way to treat a first time customer whose buying on behalf of front line volunteers.
