I am a first time boater and Shawn helped every step of the way. I not only was able to ask him plenty of questions which I feel he honestly answered, but after committing to the purchase he made sure that I felt comfortable and helped with things he knew he would have to help with. Thats the great thing about Shawn --- he knows his audience. After committing to the boat he took me out and showed me the ropes, got me into a slip, tied my lines and gave great advice. I love the feel of this marina as it seems like a home-town, local feel that makes me comfortable. Everyone there seems likes they want to help out and make you feel good about your boating experience. Do not hesitate going here for even a second.
We have purchased one new boat here, and ordered a new one; our old boat was serviced at Anchor Marine regularly by Kevin and crew in service, and theyve always been terrific. Purchased both boats from Leo Becker who is great to work with, and is our go-to person at Anchor. We drive 45 minutes to get there, and theres a reason for it.
I have purchased 2 PWCs from Anchor Marine, and have had great sales and service experience throughout all 3 years of ownership. Theyve been quick to notify me of any manufacturer related warranty repair, and the turn around times for service is always quick for any repair. The convenience of the EZ Dock during the summer cannot be beat. Ive personally dealt with Shawn and Mike on the sales team, and would highly recommend either individual if youre considering a new or used purchase!
Bring my Honda outboard engine here for service every year. They are always helpful and informative with my questions about the engines issues. Only issue is with response time, sometimes it takes a couple of calls to get a call back or to get a set date for service completion.
Brought my boat in for repair and got it back fairly quick. However, the very next time I used the boat it didnt take long for the symptoms to return. Upon bring the boat back a technician tried to imply that it wasnt their fault, it was how I was operating the boat that caused the problem to return. What he didnt know is that I got a second opinion and the other mechanic said if a simple part was replaced properly the issue would not have reoccurred. In addition to all this, they way overcharge. I will not be bringing my boat here again.
This is one of the better marinas in the area. I have used Anchor Marine for storage and repairs and have always been satisfied with the quality of the work completed. Kevin in service is a standup individual who finds a way to get the job done on time, and the maintenance personnel are worthy of the preferred status Mercury has given them.
Awful customer service, awful selection and awful experience. I wouldnt recommend this dealer to my worst enemy. They give you a 30 day courtesy warranty, knowing very well you cant even use the machine in those days because theres snow on the ground. Like Ive said before, it comes down to customer service. By far the worst I have ever received and its truly amazing that anyone would give you more then 1 Star
04/26/17@10:51am. I call for mercury part# 835257q1. Parts guy says I need special kit for stainless prop (I find out the special kit is for 400hp engines, I have 200hp). Tells me itll cost $122.00 plus tax. The part I needed actually cost about $35 shipped to my door. I always try to support local businesses but all the marinas around WNY (in my experience) are crooks and I have resorted to strictly shopping online and getting much better service AND THE CORRECT PARTS! Sorry Anchor Marine- we never did business and youll never see a penny of my money, and this story will be told over and over.
I’m a charter captain. This is where I purchased my boat and where I take it for service. I’m not the only charter captain that’s loyal to Anchor Marine - in fact, I’m probably the newest. There’s a reason so many charter captains trust this team. Pay them a visit and find out for yourself.
This went from a 5 star to a 1 star for one reason however it is a a major issue. Joel the salesman added to my invoice for no legitimate reason after the job was done and price was agreed on, sent an email after he added and said pay up. Be VERY CAREFUL that this does not happen to you....
I went in to set-up a appointment to get my mast pole down and ask him if I could have a box shipped there of medication for my wifes heart pill. He said ok! But he is a two face and sent it to the cops and I had to wait a week more. The cop said well she can go to the hospital cause you cant get them intill next week. If you are out of town dont expect to get help here!
I purchased two personal watercrafts from my niece that had been winterized December 2021 at Anchor Marine. I just removed the shrink wrap from them last week to find that there were no keys/FOB. The shrink wrap covers were completely sealed and intact. I removed the seats, checked every hatch, storage area, and even under the engines, but still no luck. Manager told my niece the keys are not in the shop and they always put the keys under the cover 100% of the time. I suspect them were place in another PWC.

2017-06-25Excellent and pleasurable experience! I was looking for my first cabin cruising boat, and I found it at Anchor Marine! Admittedly, I did not want to break the bank to get started, and found a very, VERY nice USED, clean, and well maintained one here. Mike H. was my salesman, and I believe he treated us no differently than if we were purchasing a MUCH more expensive NEW boat! He really sealed the deal because he didnt pressure, he didnt oversell, and he made my entry into the world of boating way, WAY easier than buying a car! Thank you Mike! When I do upgrade, you have earned my future business because it was kept fun, and thats really what its all about! There was a fair negotiation in price, Anchor Marine threw in some extras because of your/our suggestions, the boat was given an 80+ point inspection prior to signing of title, and I appreciate that! The Anchor Marine store has a great staff as well! Really, I couldnt be happier with the experience! Thank you Mike H. and thank you Anchor Marine!

2018-03-29Great little marina! We brought our 41 sailboat here to work on (DIY) and they didnt even blink. Our boat looked really bad at the beginning but that didnt bother them a bit, they just tucked us off to the side and let us at it. the staff were very helpful at every turn and Gene even gave us his personal contact information so we could get our new engine unloaded (which ended up being after they closed for the day!) This is definitely a powerboat marina but they did their best to accomodate us every step of the way! I just wish they were closer to home and on the Canadian side of the border! The guys in the store were very nice to deal with even though most of my questions about parts were out of their powerboat/seadoo realm! Definitely a nice place to stop by. The kids enjoyed fishing from the riverside it was a great place to be while we were there! Thanks gene and the rest of the crew!

2020-10-01Dropped my small 7.5 kicker engine off and boat for service the first week of July. Apparently they are so busy that they sort of forgot about me. Just got the boat back in mid-september. The service manager gave me an off-the-cuff quote. Over the phone. When I got the bill it was double. From 350 to 700. After speaking with him he at least did the right thing and corrected his error by reducing the labor costs. Ill probably give them a second shot but Im going to get up front prices beforehand. The mechanical work was phenomenal and the engine runs great.

2021-05-25Most of the guys are alright, some of them are rude. Went to get a key programmed for my jetski. The dude taking care of me paperwork wise was nice, the guy programming the key had a problem with me for some reason. Was snickering with another employee about me or my jetski and I dont think the dude made eye contact with me once. Couldnt even let me know where he put the key back once it was it was programmed. Just threw it somewhere back in the jetski dropped the ski off and drove away without saying a word. Usually dont write reviews but when are people gonna start to learn respect and good business practices. Our family has generations of business owners, I know how you treat customers. Apparently many other businesses dont.

He went well above and beyond to coordinate the transactions of the sale and purchase of our boats. He worked with us and make the process easy... at least on our end! 2017-05-18Shawn C helped us select just the right used boat for us. The sales process was flawless and professional. Kevin, Drew and crew have been very helpful in service answering all our questions and providing good guidance. The outside service providers recommended have also an excellent like when our cover ripped with excellent craftsmanship made a new one. They seem to know what theyre doing and have taken great care of us. I highly recommend Anchor Marine 👌🏻🚤

2019-07-10Took delivery of my new boat May 3, 2019. Had steering issue and it took them over 7 weeks, more than 25 calls to finally get fixed.Then when they replaced it they never put the tilt steering back in the boat. Then find damage to the exterior of my motor. They banged up the Scag, made a messo the paint finish(scraps, and damage to finish on bolts and nuts. Then they intentionally installed the wrong bow cushions (I ordered a set May 3 when I picked up the boat) and when I asked parts manager why they would do that, his reply was.. In his exact words To shut me up. Wow!!They didnt like that I would not let all this go. Being lied to by service, parts, and sales..To top it off, I get a call from the GM telling me that I not allowed on their property and to take my new boat elsewhere for service. He said that I upset and disrupt his employees.. So now I have damage to my boat they did and that is missing the tilt steering (which I had). Ive got pictures of the damage if anyone would like to see..What a great place..NOT !!!!

2016-07-17I purchased my 1st boat in 2008 from them, great experience. Shopped around for another boat this year, and went to quite a few places. Again we got our boat from them. They take very good care of us and I would highly recommend them. Sales rep met us in evenings, on weekends, and responded quickly to my emails.
